Hello Stampin’ Friends,
Today I thought I would do something a little different, something fun …
In March 2000 I became a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, so I have been celebrating my 15 years in many ways, and there are still more celebrations to come.
Today I’d like to share a bit of those past 15 years ….
I will have to start with 2003 – I don’t have any digital pictures to share from before that.
I’ve always loved this verse, and it’s so true … Many have come and gone throughout the 15 years, but you have all touched my life and I am so grateful that you have been part of this journey.
“Home is Where Your Heart Is” was our very first Ronald McDonald stamp set. As you know, with each sale of a RMHC stamp set a donation is made to the Ronald McDonald House Charities serving terminally ill children and their families as well as an annual contribution of $100,000.
I’m so proud to be associated with a company who so strongly believes in giving back, not only to their community but around the globe.
One of my favorites …. the covered bridges. Oh how I wish these would come back!
My very first Stampin’ Up! cruise ALASKA!! … I couldn’t have done it with out you!OMG … We were walking on a glacier!! Better yet, we took a helicopter to get to there. It was amazing, simply amazing. Thank you.
Convention 2004 with my stampin’ sisters!
This is the card that won my 2004 Christmas Card contest. The cards were put on my website and you voted. I should do that again … it was fun, and you ladies sent in some great cards!
These two cards are from the 2007 Sale-a-bration Stamp Camp. Love that little fishie, and the word search background stamp was fun, fun, fun!
This yummy card was from our 2008 Kick-Off party! I think I still have a bunch of those beads in my back room! lol (With a whole lot of other stuff)
Our 2009 Incentive Trip to Hawaii. I don’t look that good in this picture, but our dancer does!
I had the privilege to go to the Arizona memorial and Pearl Harbor. Words cannot describe the feelings that I had while there. God Bless all the men and women who have or are serving our country.
2010 … 10 years! A gold pin with 2 diamonds from Stampin’ Up! and a surprise from my Thursday night Technique Club …
Flowers, a superbly delicious cake, decorations and wine! I’ve always said “I’ve got the best stampin’ friends in the world!”
2011 … The year we lost our sister Ruthie to Pancreatic Cancer. I would not have made it through that year if it hadn’t been for the love and support of my stampin’ friends, and my family. Ruthie was one of those people who was always happy … my inspiration, my sister, my friend. Miss you
My 2012 Sale-a-bration / Mardi Gras Stamp Camp … Oh what fun that was! It’s about time I put some pictures of my stampin’ friends on here!!
November 2012 … Our very first “STAMPIN’ RETREAT”.
We had a full house and have since added Spring Retreats. It’s an all-inclusive stamping retreat … just bring your smile and your favorite adhesive, Eileen and I take care of the rest!
Oh yes … and in the time honored tradition of Stampin’ Up! … we offer pillow gifts to our guests as well. Stampin’ Up! is the perfect mentor for taking good care of their stampers!
2013 … I earned the incentive trip to beautiful San Diego and kicked off “Linda’s Stampin’ Escape” blog!
2014 … More stamp camps, more retreats, stamp clubs, etc.
And what will 2015 and beyond hold? More fun, more friendships, more stamping!
I don’t want to get corny but my life really has changed because you are in it! We have laughed and we have cried, the love and support you have shown over the years is amazing. Love you guys!
Thanks for hanging out with me today and looking back at my past 15 years with Stampin’ Up! and you.
Have a beautiful day ~
