Hello Stampin’ Friends,
Happy Valentine’s Day! And a happy weekend to you too!
Yesterday I promised to share with you a card that I created from the left overs in my January Paper Pumpkin kit … we really don’t like to throw anything away, do we?
My focal point will be the sheet that is left after we use up all the hearts …
I first cut one row off the sheet so the hearts were in a row (horizontally) and then I trimmed them to fit my Real Red mat that is behind the hearts. I liked the “open” hearts and the end … reminds us to keep our hearts open ♥ and let love in … and out.
The only thing that I used that was not in our kit, is the cardstock … both the “love” and the “you have my heart” stamps came in our kit. Those we keep forever! I had a couple hearts left from my kit so I stamped it and popped it up … it is the focal point that draws your eye to the card.
Your eye then follows the hearts to the greeting “you have my heart” … what a nice Valentine card, or a special card to give your significant other on your wedding day or anniversary. You can’t say it any better than … Love, you have my heart.
I love doing the projects in our Paper Pumpkin kits, but I also love to challenge myself to create something fun with the items in the kit.
