Hello Stampin’ Friends,

It’s Monday and we’re going to make a splash with the Waves of Inspiration stamp set and Waves Dies. I have teamed these two with the Bright and Beautiful Designer Series paper.

I used the Pretty Peacock layered design as a background and also to cut the first layer of the wave. There is a layer of Pretty Peacock behind it … this gives it added dimension of color and texture as it is layered.

Now it was time to give it some “real” texture, I used the Shimmery White Embossing Paste and with an old paint brush, I dabbed it onto the waves. I also added some craft white ink to brighten it up even more. For the rest of the wave, I used Wink of Stella.

I attached the completed wave onto the designer paper and then mounted it onto a piece of 4″ x 5-1/4″ Pretty Peacock. Using Pretty Peacock ink, I stamped my sentiment and then die cut it with the largest of the label dies.

I then layered the Natural Bakers Twine and attached it to the sentiment, and then secured it to the back of my card front. Using Stampin’ Dimensionals, I popped up the card front onto the Lost Lagoon card base.

To complete my card today, I added 3 of the Iridescent Rhinestones. I can’t say it enough, I love the way they pick up the color of whatever color designer paper or cardstock we use.

There is so many different patterns in the Bright & Beautiful Designer Series paper pack, so there are so many different ways you can use it. I’ll be back with more tomorrow.
