Hello Stampin’ Friends,

I’m back again today to Celebrate the Bright and Beautiful Designer Series paper with a fun birthday card. I’m using four different patterns from the pack (can you find all four?) Then I paired it with the Circle Sayings bundle. The bundle comes with the stamp set and a circle punch.

The color I chose for my card base was Bubble Bath, it coordinates with all of my designer paper pattern.

I cut the designer paper with the diamond pattern 4″ x 5-1/4″ and then layered the stripped pattern (2″ x 4″) over the top for a little more stability. I then wrapped my Parakeet Party Bakers Twine from the In Color Bakers Twine pack and then tied a pretty little bow onto it.

I then attached the designer paper front to the card base. Next I stamped the cupcakes onto the water washed designer paper patterns in pink and green. Then I used the Berry Burst and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends to add a touch of color to the cupcake wrapper … the only thing I did to the frosting was add a touch of Wink of Stella!

I stamped my greeting from the Circle Sayings bundle directly onto the Vellum cardstock and punched it out. At this point, I attached one of the cupcakes directly to the Vellum and then popped up the Vellum.

The pink cupcake in the lower left-hand corner was popped up, and the one in the upper right-hand corner was tucked under the vellum and secured directly onto the card front.

I have another card that I created using the Bright & Beautiful Designer paper and the greeting from Circle Sayings … I did use die cuts that have since retired but I added it just for inspiration …
