Emboss Resist with Borders Abound

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

I ran into some “technical” issues but I did manage to download last nights LIVE for you today, plus I have a close up of the heart so you can see the “resist” and Wink of Stella.

Grab a cup of coffee, tea or favorite beverage or snack (no … it’s not that long) just want you to sit back and relax for a bit and image you are around the table with all of us, stamping!

I love this embossing technique and all of the different ways you can make those images pop, but I must say … I have been having a blast playing with the Blending Brushes. It creates such a smooth application of ink.

Here is a look at the two cards, one has the “Oh So Ombre” paper with the light end on top, the other on the bottom. I prefer the light on top because it doesn’t distract the eye from the heart, and having the darker end on the bottom actually “frames” the Hello! You can see what I mean in the photo below …

I love the little flowers inside the heart, it makes it look so dainty and pretty. For those of you who know me well … you know I’m going to add some kind of sparkle, and Wink of Stella adds a subtle touch as to not take away from the heart images itself. And … it compliments our pearls.

They’re are so cute, aren’t they? You can also see in this photo the “smoothness” of the application of ink by using the Blending Brushes. The card may look simple, but it is soooo pretty.

I thank you for joining me today. Tomorrow I plan on having my “Shaker Card” for you!

Have an amazing day ~
