Hello Stampin’ Friends,

I am excited to share a few cards with you today. It’s from the A Little Lace bundle and it just shouts “HELLO SPRING!!” This is another of my favorites that is on the retiring list. I love the whimsical floral pattern in the stamp set and the detailed die that coordinates …

The sentiments in the set are perfect for all occasions! Take a look at the die and you will see the amazing detail, and today I’ll share different ways in which you can use it.

Let’s begin with a card the showcases the detail of the die. This die normally sells for $35.00 BUT is now ONLY $14.00 – can’t beat that!! This is one of the first cards that I had made with this bundle ….

I used the lace die on the entire front of my card. I had a little fun with this card … I actually “cut” the bottom edge off the card front, and glued it onto what normally would be the inside!! When the card is closed is looks like a normal card, but what a fun surprise when ti’s opened.

For my second card … Nothing brings the thought of warm more than our Daffodil Delight … bright like a daffodil standing tall in the sunshine. I’m featuring both the stamps and the die on this card to really highlight a unique way to use them …

I cut the lace die cut … you can actually get 2 squares cut out of the lace die cut. I backed my Daffodil Delight lace square with Whisper White. The lace design allows the white to peek through which really highlights the pattern.

Here is another card showcasing the stamp set and dies, along with a note card that illustrates the use of just a strip of the die … that is what the skinny die is for!! Cool right! These cards were created by Stampin’ Up! and are in the current catalog … I use the catalog for inspiration all the time …

Just like sunshine … I needed a little sparkle so I painted a little Wink of Stella onto the petals. Not to be outdone, the centers were colored with the Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blend and then I went over the top with the Shimmery Crystal Effects … and yes, I even sprinkled glitter over the top of that!!
