As promised, here are just a few of the pics from my Stampin’ Getaway in Door County …
This is the view of the Landmark resort where Eileen and I stayed. Our room is near the center of the photo hidden by the trees …
This is the view from our room – a beautiful shot of the sunset on our first night. Can’t beat that view unless you are right on the water …
Part of the fun of Door County is trying all the different places to eat! One of our first stops was Wilson’s and their delicious Chocolate Malts …
Trust me … that alone is enough to fill you up!
If you’re looking for something fun and some good food … try Al Johnson’s in Sister Bay. We had to stop and pick up some of their famous Lingonberry Jam. We actually ate there twice, once for lunch and then back on our last day for breakfast. This place has people stopping in the streets …
Everyone stops to get a picture of the goats on the roof. I thought I had the perfect shot before these two fine gentlemen stepped in front of me to take their picture.
My favorite for our entire trip was the Fireside in Ellison Bay. I had the “Jamaican Pork Chops” – just listen to this … Jerk marinate pork loin with seared peaches and pears, over garlic redskin mashed potatoes and szechuan green beans! OMG …
The pork chops were tender and juicy and the flavor combination was out of this world. Not too hot or spicy … but just a little kick. It was just right!
The entire staff was amazing and Chef / Owner Blake Schar came out to greet us and see if we were enjoying our meal … YES, yes I was! The Bloody Mary was pretty darn good too.
They took good care of us and the food is awesome … If your planning a trip to Door County – be sure to stop in at the Fireside in Ellison Bay. I may sound like a commercial but they really were that good!
I’ll share one more to say good-bye for now …
This was a shot from the pool deck at sunset … a wonderful getaway! We are truly blessed to live in such a beautiful state! When posting pics on my facebook page, friends thought I was on a tropical vacation!
Hope you have a wonderful weekend ~

It’s on my Wish List … How about you?
Thanks for stopping in today, hope you have a good one.

Love Story Project Life Card Collection by Stampin’ Up!
Hello Stampin’ Friends,
From the Stampin’ Up! blog “Inspired By” / I’d like to share this post …
Do you struggle with how to use the Project Life cards? Do you have a collection of cards that you haven’t even opened yet? Hopefully I can inspire you to open up your package and put it to good use! I love how versatile the Love Story Project Life Card Collection by Stampin’ Up! (item # 135308) is! These cards are in shades of white, gray, and black.

For my projects today, I chose to use the white and gray cards for a softer look. This collection of cards allows you to bring whatever color palette you want to your projects. I decided to create a collection of cards that could either be used in a Project Life Photo Pocket Page (item # 135294)—or on cards or tags. Project Life cards aren’t just for memory keeping!

How did I get started with my collection? First, I chose a color palette to add to these cards: Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight, Crisp Cantaloupe, Pool Party, Pink Pirouette, and Pear Pizzazz. These colors just make me smile.

After I decided on my color palette, I pulled out coordinating Color Collections Designer Series Paper Stacks. I used a combination of Subtles (item # 130135), Brights (item # 130134), and 2013–2015 In Colors (item # 130136). These Designer Series Paper Stacks are a go-to product for me. I absolutely LOVE them! I use them all the time on my projects! Then I grabbed a few of my favorite stamps, accessories, and my Aqua Painter (item # 103954) to get started.
Let’s take a closer look at the details on my Love Story Project Life Cards . . .

After creating this collection of cards, I definitely had a few favorites. I bet you have a few favorites, too! These are mine.

Now that I have this collection of cards, I’m ready to create whenever I feel inspired—whether it’s a Project Life page, a card, or a pretty tag for a gift. I hope you feel inspired today to put your hands to paper and create!
I’d like to thank Sarah Sagert, 2014–2015 Artisan Design Team for sharing her beautiful work and expertise.
