Celebrating 23 Years Today ….

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Hard to believe it’s been 23 years since I signed up and started my journey with Stampin’ Up! and all of you. What a beautiful community of stampers I have encountered.

Here a just a few of the pictures / memories …. the people I have met, the places I have been … PRICELESS!

Stampin’ Up! Home Office in Riverton, Utah

Just part of our team … Upline: Gloria & Vicki / Sideline: Karen / Downling: Eileen, Anne, Rosie & Doris. The next two photos are some of my “Happy Stampers” at events I hosted. Some were so happy they joined my team as well … Ann Marie!

Stampin’ Up! events … Conventions, Leadership and more

Notice our shirts?? We made them for Convention with Pearl Ex & a technique called Shattered Glass!

Jerry Day was the President of the company then … Shelli is the Co-Founder and then CEO of Stampin’ Up! Her daughter Sara has since taken the reins, but we still see Shelli at Stampin’ Up! events.

It’s not all business at Stampin’ Up! events …. they make sure we have PLENTY of FUN!! It’s was 70’s Night … Connie and I are with Shelli and her husband Sterling.

Some of the amazing places that I have gone with Stampin’ Up! Many are Incentive Trips that I have “earned” through the years. It takes a lot of work but when you Love What You Do ….

YES … We stamp on the Incentive Trips too! I’m with Shelli again!

My Sister Eileen … Me … and my Brother Richard

All I can say is that is has been an amazing journey so far. Love all the people I have met, many of whom became friends. So grateful for all of the opportunities given, and the places I would have never seen … my heart is overwhelmed.

I am extremely grateful for all of YOU who have supported me over the past 23 years … I look forward to continuing the journey with you.

Oh Happy Day Card / Rain or Shine!

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

I have another Rain or Shine card for you, in fact … I’m sharing them all here today. I like to share several samples of the same product so you are inspired to create / play with you goodies and to maximize the value of your purchase. I want to make sure you get your moneys worth!

You will enjoy this little cutie for sure …

Using the same pattern of designer paper as I did yesterday, you’ll want to start with a 3” X 4” and cut at 1” and 3” leaving you with 1” left (and a 2″ center). These are layered onto Basic White and the Mango Melody.

The turtle is die cut from the Rain or Shine designer paper … you want the one that is at the edge, then there is no waste because he looks pretty awesome coming in from the side of your card! The front will be attached to the Balmy Blue card base.

To finish off the card, stamp your greeting with Momento ink and punch from the Dual Oval Punch (Mango Melody from Scallop Oval). Attach 3 of the loose daisy’s using liquid glue to the sentiment on your card front and you are done!

There is so much you can do with this bundle, have you seen these yet?

These two bunnies, above and below have designer paper shirts!! Just stamp the bunny image onto the designer paper and cut it out (the die coordinates with the stamp and designer paper!) Love it!

And then there was yesterday’s card ….

So, are you falling in love yet? I’ll have more to share soon but I will be sharing Sale-a-bration samples with you because time is running out, only 11 more days to Sale-a-brate!

Have an awesome Friday, and I’ll see you tomorrow!

Hello from our 2022 Holiday Stamping Retreat

Hello my friends ~

Today I’m here to share a few pictures from our Holiday Stamping Retreat. This retreat in not like the others, we have a 1930 English Tudor Home so our group is small an intimate. Our guest may come as strangers but they leave as friends … even swapping phone numbers (besides their cards) lol

We stamp on Friday Night after our sit down dinner, and when they return for dessert and the hot cocoa bar …. they find a Pillow Gift on their beds ….

This year they received the In Color Grid Paper so they can have a nice pad to stamp on, and use the Red & White Glitter paper. I gave them several ideas on how to use that!

Here are a couple of our first time Retreat Attendee’s ….

By the looks of these two, you would think they have known each other for a long time! They just met this weekend, in fact … I just met them this weekend. I think they both plan on attending the Spring Retreat!

Here’s a pic of part of the gang (couldn’t get them all in this one shot) relaxing after our stamping session in the living room …

We enjoy some treats, hot cocoa and each others company! Before they retired to their rooms, we held a Swap Contest. Here are just a few of the cards.

Here are a few more of the swap cards ….

I will have plenty more to show you, including the top 3!!

Thank you for taking time out of your Sunday to check out my blog.

Hope you have a beautiful day ~

Halloween Card Parade ….

Hello Stampin’ Friends,

Halloween just over a week away, I thought it would be fun to showcase many of the cards I have shared with you … a recap!

The first is not a card at all but a simple scrapbook page …

I was working on a “Window Card” and had all these circles left over so I simply attached them to my page … added a few cats and my darling granddaughter Lori. She is 8 now and loves looking back at her pages (that’s what scrapbooking does) lol

On to the cards ….

This card uses the Scary Cute Bundle and a Watercolor Wash background. You can CLICK HERE to view the original post.

Let’s look at another Scary Cute card …

This card uses the Blending Brushes to create a soft background for our little fairy! Add some of the Washi Tape and adhesive backed Stars and you have a quick and cute card any little girl would love.

Here is another using the same technique just different stamps from Scary Cute!

I thought I would do one more fitting a boy! Colors did not show up well on this one, much cuter in person with the Pumpkin Pie, Parakeet Party and Gorgeous Grape color pallet.

The next card was super simple but a favorite of many …

With a simple black and white design from the Rustic Harvest Designer Paper, all I had to do to jazz it up with some sparkle was add the Washi Tape!! Then I die cut the house and bats from the Scary Cute Bundle … you can see how versatile this bundle really is. CLICK HERE to view original post which includes a video!

One more card using the Harvest and Scary Cute …

Don’t you just love this … It’s a Fun Fold and it highlights those Scary Cute dies! You could add color to the Black & White but on this card I wanted the house to be my focal point. You can CLICK HERE to view the video for this Fun Fold Card!

Well, well, well … I didn’t realize how many Halloween cards I had so I’ll be back with even more tomorrow, and the second half of the Halloween Card parade on Monday!

It’s a beautiful day here in Wisconsin, hope you can enjoy it too.

Here is a list of the core supplies used for these cards ….

You Gnome Me So Well ..

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Yesterday I shared my version of a card that I cased from the catalog. It was my challenge from my Design Team I’m on … so today I thought I would share that card with you! I picked “Hello, Baby” card in the upper right-hand corner on page 46 of the Annual Catalog.

He’s so cute … isn’t he? I liked the layout so that is the card I chose. I decided to swap out the Happier than Happy Bundle for the Kindest Gnomes bundle. I couldn’t resist the pretty Storybook Gnomes Designer paper that would be the backdrop for my cute little gnome. I am part Norwegian so I just love this new suite!

This card turned out so cute and and is the perfect layout for any occasion. Bonus … if you have designer paper scraps, this layout is the perfect one to use them up.

If you would like the PDF for this Gnome card … just comment below and I’d be happy to send it to you!

Thank you for joining today, have a great week.

Sending Hugs

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Today I have a special card I’d like to share with you. I belong to a Artistic Design Group and we create for different challenges each month, this month we were to highlight the New In-Colors so here is my creation of Sending Hugs ….

Since I have been highlighting “Watercolor Techniques” I thought I would add it to my card for the design group as well. My In-Colors are Tahitian Tide and Parakeet Party and are blended on the watercolor paper. My background is also Tahitian Tide and embossed with the Fern 3-D folder to create a beautiful texture, and lets face it … it’s much prettier to the eye.

This photo will show how I die cut the scallop circle to put a spotlight onto our stamped and die cut images, and how they are layered …

The stamped images, greeting and die cuts all come from the Splendid Thoughts bundle. I used the Double Oval punch to punch out my greeting. I introduced this bundle to my Stamp Club Party … it was a hit!! I picked this bundle because it is so versatile and you can use it any time of the year and for so many occasions.

The black mat and card base really makes my colors pop and with the greeting stamped with the Tuxedo Black Momento ink … it ties everything together. A little Wink of Stella on my stamped image creates a nice focal point to the card. I finished it off with a few Iridescent Rhinestones.

I hope you enjoyed the combination of my watercoloring techniques with the new Splendid Thoughts bundle … and two of our new In-Colors. The purchase of this awesome bundle will reward you with a FREE Sale-a-bration item and a virtual rewards point from me.

I hope you have a wonderful weekend ~

Here is a list of supplies I used to make my card…. Click on any item for more information or to begin your shopping spree.
