Meet Playful Pets

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Today I thought it would be fun to share a cute new Playful Pets Suite and the Pampered Pets stamp set for my dog and cat lovers! This set is so cute …

When you look through the catalog … take a good look at the samples and items surrounding the cards. The cards shown above feature a “basic” and a “stepped up” version! We’ve just been talking about this in the past few posts.

The card on the left side is done with our Watercolor Pencils and Blender Pens, and stamped directly onto the cardstock. The card on the right is “stepped up” with several layers … the first has the die cut paw prints (love it) then some designer paper, third layer is embossed with the Brick & Mortar folder, and our little pets have been die cut directly from another pattern of the designer paper, and finally the greeting is heat embossed!

Here is the cutest idea …

How cute is this little gift?! A perfect little treat to take to a friends house … a bottle of wine for the host, and a treat for the puppy. That’s a friend!!

One more sweet card I wanted to share. Losing a family pet is devastating, and not always mourned by others … this is such a sweet way to let your friends know that you understand and are there for them during the loss of their pet.

This wonderful product suite had a little bit of everything to acknowledge and celebrate the four legged members of our families.

Thank you for hanging out with me for a bit today. Hope today’s post inspires you to celebrate your puppy or kitty with a card or share with a friend. Have a great day!

Here is a core list of the supplies …

You’ve Touched My Heart

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Today I have a pretty card to share with you that was created using the “Touched My Heart” stamp set. It was one of those that tugged on my heart strings when I saw it … perfect for many occasions; Sympathy, Wedding, a Love, the love of a Friend.

This beautiful stamp set is one of our exclusive “Hostess” stamp sets … I love the whimsical heart and the elegant font. It also paired perfectly with the greenery from the Forever Fern bundle/stamp set. Who knew? I love combining stamp sets, it makes them all so versatile … and the “My Friend” … that comes from the new “Field of Flowers” bundle/stamp set.

Besides being a beautiful and versatile stamp set, I wanted to share this because Stampin’ Up! has an amazing promotion going on for “Hostesses” right now. When you have sales of $250 or more … you will receive an additional $25 in hostess benefits $$ to purchase anything of your choice.

This new catalog has had me pen to paper creating a Wish List, and if you are like me … well, let’s just say that any sales over $150 will earn you FREE merchandise, and if you have a goodie list of $250 or more, you will receive an additional $25 to spend!! That’s $50 FREE. Oh …. that’s not all, you will also receive 5 Virtual Rewards points!! For many of you … that will qualify you for another FREE stamp set from me!

Let me know if you have any questions on this Hostess promotion, my virtual rewards or my card! As always, hostess free merchandise is your choice … you can choose the “Touched My Heart” stamp set or anything else!

Simply Sunday: Guest Stamper Dawn H.

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Today I am sharing a beautiful card sent to me by my friend and Club member Dawn H. This card is going to make you wish for warm breezes and beautiful sunsets.

Dawn told me she cased her card from Michelle Zindorf … a fellow demonstrator who specialized in this sponging style.  I’ve done styles similar to this but it inspires me to get back in my studio and create!

Dawn’s color combination is so pretty against the silhouette of the trees.  Just a had to share this beautiful card … Stop back tomorrow to see what I came up with.

Thanks for stopping by.  What inspire you to stamp??

No April Fool’s

Hello stampin’ friends –

Hope you are all doing okay, on this first day of April. Today is going to be a very short blog post, and I am sorry for that, however I blew out my laptop last night and I’m creating this post through my phone.

If I can figure out how to add pictures and create a full blog I will do that today! My daughter is bringing over one of her old laptops today, if it works!  Then I will post my card share later today.

Don’t stray too far away because I will be back posting more card shares as soon as I can.

Thank you so very much for stopping by today and hopefully I’ll be back up again shortly. Have yourself an awesome day. Linda

Foils are FAB!

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Have you been shopping lately and seen the “new” fashions? Hmmmm … Reminds me of the ’70’s with the big flowers and bright colors!! Whew … I’m not going back there again! lol  However, it does look cute on a card!

Today I’ve got a card poppin’ with ’70’s style! I began with the Flowering Foils Specialty Designer paper and grabbed my Bermuda Bay and Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends.  These cute little flowers are quick -n- easy to color in. Once done I took my colored paper and cut out the center using the Stitched Rectangle Dies! I want layer the pattern …

You can see the pattern is not really broken as it continues beyond the Bermuda Bay mat behind the cut out piece of designer paper.  I believe this is called the “Eclipse” technique … or Spotlighting. What ever you call it, it’s a fun and easy technique to do.

Once layered, I wanted to bring the “flower” into the card.  I tried to double the small daisy punch but it was still too big so I used the Small Bloom punch from the Sale-a-Bration catalog.  Punch twice, sponge a little color on the edges, use a glue dot to secure the two pieces together … and then I used the top of an Aqua Painter to push into my flower so the edges would pop up!  What was cool about that is it left a little dotted circle (not sure you can see from the pictures). Then I used a Faceted Gem in the center.

To finish off my card … My greeting comes from the Thoughtful Blooms Stamp set, also from the Sale-a-Bration catalog.  This stamp set actually coordinates with the Small Bloom Punch!! How fun is that.

I also want to mention that TODAY … March 10th is the last day to subscribe to our special Paper Pumpkin.  Paper Pumpkin is celebrating it’s 7th year!! This special kit includes two stamp sets and comes packaged in a one-of-a-kind box. Don’t miss this incredible value! Subscribe here: https://www.paperpumpkin.com/en-us/sign-up/?demoid=26646

Thank you for stopping by today, I appreciate it! Please let me know if you have any questions about the card or Paper Pumpkin … happy to help!

Have an awesome day, Linda

Twas the Night Before Christmas …

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Thought it would be fun to share the Night Before Christmas Memories & More Card Pack.  It includes fun Christmas images and designs: 54 total double-sided cards (6 each of 9 designs) in 3″ x 4″ (7.6 x 10.2 cm) and 4″ x 6″ (10.2 x 15.2 cm) sizes /  6 sticker sheets / Plus it’s Acid free and lignin free making it great for scrapbooking and cardmaking!

Watch as Santa works with our Night Before Christmas Suite to complete all of his projects. With a memories and more card pack, note cards and envelopes, and more…

Here is one of the cards that I created with the Night Before Christmas Memories & More …

Did you know…

… that yesterday was the Christmas Poem Day? The poem A Visit from St. Nicholas by Clement C. Moore (‘Twas the night before Christmas…) was published in 1823. The poem, which has been called “arguably the best-known verses ever written by an American,” is largely responsible for some of the conceptions of Santa Claus from the mid-nineteenth century to today.

I would like to wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas, and thank you for being part of my stamping circle. Life is so much better when your surrounded by friends.

Merry Christmas ~

Simply Sunday: Reflections of Christmas …

Hello Stampin’ Friends,

How are you enjoying the Holiday Catalog and all the goodies inside? It’s a fabulous catalog … isn’t it! However, I want to remind you of the beautiful stamp sets that we have in our Annual Catalog … so, today I’m going to share some great cards that were created with the stamp sets you will find in it …

One of my favorites is the Merry Christmas to all (and the coordinating dies) This is perfect if you need to make quick -n- easy cards, and don’t feel bad about that because we are all busy … just pair it with one of our beautiful designer papers.

One this card I simply used the Gold Foil-Edged Cards & Envelopes … embossed a separate piece of Whisper White Cardstock with the Tufted 3D Embossing Folder and used the die cuts to create an impressive greeting!

My next card highlights the stamp set … just add designer paper!!

Another one of my favorites that you will find in the Annual catalog will not only satisfy your holiday card making needs, but will extend throughout the year … WINTER WOODS STAMP SET:

This beautiful card was created by one of my friends and downline members; Kathy Czerwinski.  This card is simply stamped multiple times … the lighter trees were “stamped off” first before stamping onto her cardfront.

Let’s take that same stamp set and use it for the perfect birthday card …

I used that same stamping technique that Kathy did by stamping off … add some designer paper and you have the perfect quick -n- easy cards.

I have one more from the Winter Woods stamp set …

I love the simplicity of this card … this is another that would work perfectly for a birthday or thinking of you card. Replace the red glimmer paper behind the stamped tree and use your (or their) favorite color.  I embossed the background with the Woodland Embossing Folder … this adds texture to the card.

I hope you enjoyed taking a look at what you could create with these amazing stamp sets. I love the Holiday Catalog but our Annual Catalog is one of the best tools you can get your hands on … so many great samples, fun and informative tips and a whole bunch of cools stuff to satisfy our creative habit!

Thanks for hanging out with me on this Sunday,

I hope you have a beautiful day.

Simply Sunday: Designer Paper Craze …

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Did you know that you can create stunning cards that are quick -n- easy to create?  Anyone who has had a glimpse of our beautiful designer series paper does … check these out. Today I have several cards to share with you that will make you smile … because YOU know, you made this card in a snap between dishes and laundry! lol

Here’s a great tip … if you have designer paper sitting around “waiting to played with” … cut it in half (6 inches) and then cut your 6″ x 12″ inch into 4 inch strips so you will have 6 designer papers ready for cardmaking! Or you could you them as a mat or focal point when scrapbooking.  When your making your card you will trim the 6″ length down to 5-1/4 …. this is the perfect size for your card front and you have a little piece to decorate the inside of your card as well.

Our first card showcases the Bird Ballad designer paper, and the second is Magnolia Lane.  The only difference between the Magnolia cards is the greeting was placed in an empty spot on the pattern … Let the designer paper dictate where your greeting will go.

My last card is the cute little dinosaurs again!!

Thank you so much for sharing a part of your Sunday with me! I appreciate that.  Stop back tomorrow as I will be sharing a card I designed from the beautiful “To A Wild Rose” stamp set.

Thanks again and have a wonderful day ~

Leave a Little Sparkle … Guest Stamper: Kathy C

Hello Stampin’ Friends,

Today I met with my Star’s team (my downline) and one of the cards that was shared pulled at my heartstrings because my little grandbaby girls are in love with unicorns, so I just had to share this with you too.

Kathy made this super cute yet easy card with the new “Leave a Little Sparkle” stamp set from the Annual Catalog.  This stamp set is most definitely on my Wish List … It’s so cute and unicorns are Hot, Hot, Hot right now!!

The beautiful unicorn was stamped in Melon Mamba, Gorgeous Grape and Bermuda Bay … even the colors make this card magical, and the touch of black just adds an extra “pop” to the card.  A perfect birthday card, yet this would also be great for Invitations or for a graduation using the “Make Your Dreams Come True” greeting.

The ideas are just rolling into my head … how about you?  Are you loving this stamp set?

Thank you for coming by today … enjoy your weekend!

The Dino Days bundle is perfect for birthday celebrations and we have a cute coordinating card as well.  And as you saw yesterday, with my It’s a Boy … It’s a Girl cards, you could easily surprise everyone with a dinomite gender reveal party!!

TODAY’S STAMPING SUPPLY LIST …

Check out these Cruise Swaps …

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Today I want to share with you a little more from my trip in the form of card samples!! I wish I knew who created these fabulous samples so I could give them credit, because I love their creations!!

I am regretting that I did not get in on the Incentive Trip Swap but I had so much going on with work before I left …. but swaps were posted in our gathering room so I picked out 3 really cute cards.

The first is from one of my favorite sets in the Annual Catalog, the Sailing Home Bundle.  You can find that on page 145.  Don’t have your catalog yet?  Contact me!! I love her layers and the texture she has added to the card. I just love it!

The second of the three I’m sharing today is from the Dino Days Bundle on page 99. This is such a cute suite … I’ll be sharing more with you as my great-grandson is head over heels in love with dinosaurs! Don’t you love they fold of this card …. adds extra fun to the card!

The last sample I want to share with you is too stinkin’ cute …  It was created with the Over the Moon stamp set found on page 32. I think that this would make the perfect little gift at a birthday party (who doesn’t love ) or how about a 4-H project!! Cute hand-out at the County or State Fairs as well.

I hope you enjoyed these cute samples as much as I did when I saw them!!

Thank you for joining me today, I hope yours is a good one.

Aren’t these cards just stunning! I love the look of stained glass in combination with the “Illuminated Christmas” from the Holiday Catalog. The O, Holy Night card is my favorite.

The vellum is subtle and uncolored on this card but it still makes a statement.  The beautiful star that draws your eye to the card and then the use of the Stained Glass Thinlits Dies as it highlights the Three Wisemen… I love it!!

The “Hope” Card is beautiful too with it’s colored vellum. This card also used the Stained Glass Thinlits Dies and the Subtle Dynamic Embossing Folder. What’s neat about this card is, you have a beautiful layout now, and you can transform it just by switching color pallets … the blues would be gorgeous too.

Remember … The dies, folders, and designer papers from the Annual Catalog will be on sale. Save 10% on the majority of the products needed to create these cards.

Let me know if you need any help placing your order, or if you just have a question about it.

Thank you for the visit today,

Hope your day is a good one.
