What’s YOUR favorite NEW 2023-2024 In Color?

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Now that you have had time to play with the NEW 2023-2024 In Colors…. Which new In-Color is YOUR favorite?

Here you can get a close up look at them. I am using the New “Crafting with You” bundle … wow, this is fun to play with. I have much more playing to do!! lol

Let’s begin with the Boho Blue …

Each of my cards are made exactly the same so you can get the “real” effect of the color! I began with a Basic White base and then I stamped onto my In Color card front (Boho Blue) with the coordinating In Color ink.

The next card is the Pebbled Path ….

After stamping the “color on color” (which is an old technique I still use a lot) I stamped the In Color floral piece and greeting, both of which are from the “Crafting with You” bundle.

Next up is the Moody Mauve ….

Once I had the greeting and flowers stamped onto the white in the coordinating ink, I die cut them using the Stylish Shapes dies. These dies are so versatile and a must have in your stamping supplies.

Speaking of die cuts, let’s take a look at that adorable scissors ….

This little cutie is pretty easy to make. I die cut one out of Silver Foil and a second set out of Basic Black. Using my Paper Snips as an example, I cut the black handle part to look like my Paper Snips!! I then used the Liquid Glue to attach the black scissor tops .

A Glue Dot was used to hold the two pieces of the scissors together and then I popped the little black circle into the circle area of the scissors. Easy peasy!

Next up is the Wild Wheat ….

Not one of my favorites to start with, but I appreciated it much better when using it with the Designer Papers that coordinate with this color! Who knew!!

The last of my 2023-2024 In Colors is the Copper Clay …

I love this color, it’s so pretty and we were in need of a rich earth tone! Now, to finish off my cards, I used the 2023-2024 In Color Dots … I wanted to show you how beautifully they coordinate with the cardstock and ink.

Which of the NEW 2023-2024 In Colors is YOUR favorite. I’d like to know, and you can just leave your answer in the comments below. Thank you.

I have a list of supplies for you below, including the “Multi-packs” of the In Colors for your convenience.

Thank you for sharing a part of your day with me.

Patchwork Pieces Video

Hello Stampin’ Friends,

Today I’m going to share the video that I created going through step by step how I created the cards I shared with you yesterday. I will leave the cards on today’s post so you can check them out again, along with the key ingredients I used to make my cards … Enjoy the video!

Once all your colors are cut, I pull them apart and create a rainbow pattern. I used the Tombo Liquid glue to secure my pattern …

I stamped my greeting from Circle Sayings in Daffodil Delight and Starry Sky, then punched out with the coordinating 2-3/8″ punch. I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to pop it up and embellished it with the blue Tinsel Gems.

My next card is assembled as the first and then stamped with VersaMark ink … it’s a watermark ink so it works perfectly on the rainbow of color. This is a simple technique that many of us forget about, but it looks so cool ….

The flowers come from the Crafting with You stamp set as does the greeting that I stamped in Starry Sky. It was then die cut with the Stylish Shapes dies. I put a few scrap pieces on the back and trimmed them down to embellish my card.

The last card was assembled as the rest were but before I assembled it to the cardbase, I ran it the the Cut & Emboss Machine ….

Any one of our embossing folders would look great on these patterned die cuts in the Patchwork Pieces dies, and just another easy technique to change up your card and add some texture to your card.

I’ve got several more cards to make with the left over pieces … I’ll warn you, once you get started, you will have so much fun creating with these die. Have fun!! Thanks for checking in with me today.

Check out my Teams Swap Cards …

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Last weekend I was blessed to spend time with many of my Stars by Design Team Members. We had so much fun we forgot to take pictures … but I do have some of their amazing swap cards … and I will share a couple with you today.

We’re are kind of spread across the state (and one out of state) but we try to meet in person quarterly. We also keep in touch through my Stars Newsletter and a private Facebook page too. We talk about the Stampin’ Up! specials, the newest fads, techniques and fun folds!! We’re already planning our next one …. YOU should join us!!

On that note, let’s begin with Kathy’s card created with the Crafting with You bundle …

Don’t you just love the the paper she made using different inks and the Saran Wrap technique. You just crunch it up, tap it into the ink pad and then blot onto paper.

The next card is great for the upcoming Fathers Day holiday and was created by Debi ~

This card was created using the Gone Fishing bundle and is a favorite of my 4 year old Great Grandson!! He was carrying it all around, and then told me he wants me to take him fishing! lol This is a very inspiring card …. thank you Debi!!

The next card was created by our newest member Tina. She is using the Two Tone Flora found on page 34 of the Annual Catalog ….

Tina just signed up this month during our Starter Kit promotion and jumped right into the fun! We’d love to have you join our Stars team as well. Besides our team, you have Stampin’ Up! and an amazing group of fellow demonstrators “world wide” that you can tap into for resources.

You can sign up for the discount, but you’ll stay for the friendships. Take it out for a test drive, and see if this is a good fit for you. Love to stamp? Check / One down! Let’s talk.

Thank you for checking out my blog post today, I’d love to talk to you about joining my team.
