Today I have another card featuring the So Many Stars stamp set from the So Many Stars bundle. This simple card layout works perfectly to fit any occasion such as a birthday or welcoming a sweet new baby … so many possibilities.
One of the easiest ways to create a card is to bring out your designer paper and use it for the background. Today’s card features the Monster Mash designer paper … that’s right! The beautiful filigree pattern of the Monster Mash designer paper lends itself well to any occasion card. (Do you see a theme here … Our bundles and papers are very versatile).
The card is done in Crushed Curry and Very Vanilla taken from the designer paper. The star image was stamped onto the vanilla and was cut out using the Layering Squares Dies. Now if you are just getting into stamping, you won’t need the dies, just cut them out with your paper cutter. The cute rhinestone in the center comes from the Holiday Rhinestones!
Punches are a quick and easy way to add interest and depth to your projects. And there’s no better way to highlight your greeting than a quick punch in the corner with the Detail Trio punch … don’t you just love that cute little accent and of course I needed to add a little bling!
If you’re giving a friend a beautiful card and want to give them a small gift to show your appreciation, why not use the Mini Curvy Keepsakes Box Dies … a yummy truffle fits perfectly in there, or you can use your imagination. Just something to have fun with.
When creating cards … use what you have (even if it was originally for a different holiday). Remember simple patterns work well … just change out the color or the stamp set and the card looks totally different, and you’ll have a stress free stamping day!
Thank you so much for checking in with me today …
I hope you have a beautiful Sunday.
