From poinsettia’s to candy canes … I’m love sharing Christmas cards, and you can take a walk down candy cane lane with the Sweetest Christmas Suite! Use the playful variations of the candy cane stripe patterns to create delightful Christmas cards and tags for you family and friends.
I’ve actually used three different patterns from the designer paper … you’ll enjoy having the ability to die cut your candy canes from one of the patterns!! My cardbase is Real Red. I slipped a snowflake behind my candy cane to highlight it … then tied a pretty little bow using the Real Red and Garden Green Ribbon Combo pack. How sweet it is!
Thanks for popping in to check out my card today … Enjoy your week ahead.
I’m back!! I’ll admit, I got caught up in my cardmaking for my upcoming retreat, World Cardmaking Day, Stamp Club and Gnome class!! Whew … but what fun I was having … I hope you join me on World Cardmaking day …
BUT …. I do have the cutest card for you today!
You’ve seen my Book Binder Fold card just recently (Click Here to see Full Post). So today I’m sharing the same layout but sharing the magic of Christmas with the Santa Express Suite. Hop aboard and join me on this fun ride You’ll see I used the Sweetest Christmas Designer paper from my last card but added SANTA from the Santa Express Designer paper.
I love that Stampin’ Up! has dies that cut out elements from our designer papers because they are just sooo cute! The Santa comes from all over the world. I also used the dies for the train tracks … they thought of everything!!
Did you notice the smoke puffs coming out of the train?? Hmmm … I’m going to be sharing how I made them during my LIVE presentation on World Cardmaking Day. I’ll be sharing a lot of fun tricks & tips to jazz up your Holiday Stamping!!
This card is full of texture and dimension, yet so quick and easy to make. Using designer paper in your cardmaking gives you a great pop of color without having to “color” and makes creating as simple as adhering it to the cardstock.
I hope you enjoyed today’s card and add my World Cardmaking Day event to your calendar this Saturday.
Take time to enjoy your day, and thank you for the visit!!
Here are the core products used to create today’s card ….
And a HAPPY Saturday to you all. Today I have a card from the amazing Merriest Moments stamp set and the Hybrid Embossing Folder. I was thrilled to see these amazing products back in the Mini Catalog this season as one of the returning favorites!! It’s surely a favorite of mine.
You can create unique and festive frames with the Merriest Frames Hybrid Embossing Folder. It comes with one embossing folder and one set of dies. This hybrid embossing folder will add a unique touch to your Christmas and winter cards.
The dies fit around the embossed image in the folder, allowing you to emboss and cut with one run through the machine. Or choose to use the folder and the dies separately; the choice is yours … I chose to just the the embossing folder on my card.
This is a simple and easy card to make. I used Basic White as my card base … the Evening Evergreen card front is 4″ x 5-1/4″ and is embossed with the Merriest Frames Hybrid Folder.
I complimented the embossed card front with the Wonderful Snowflakes in the Mini Catalog. You’ll find them on page 45 in the Mini Catalog … you get 24 Snowflakes for only $6 and you can stretch that even further by cutting them in half as I did here.
The greeting comes from the Merriest Moments Stamp set …
The greeting was stamped onto Basic White cardstock in the Evening Evergreen and die cut with the die included with our bundle … it fits perfectly in the framed space!
I told you this special team of products would be so fun to use! There are so many different ways you can use the stamps, dies and embossing folder. Be sure to keep an eye out, as I will be sharing more in the future.
Thank you for joining me today. I hope you have the “merriest” of weekends ~

I have a treat for you today … a simple yet beautiful Slim Line card and a parade of other cards that were created from the amazing Beauty of the Earth Suite. I will also be sharing some fun techniques on these cards so, grab a cup of coffee and sit back with me while we go through these creative gems!
I share these because the Beauty of Friendship Bundle is part of the Savings in Bloom promotion. I will share “all” of the items on sale at the bottom of my post.
First up is my Slimline cards, this card fits in a business size envelope … I’m using two different patterns from the Beauty of the Earth Designer paper and joined them together with the pretty Gold Fine Art Ribbon; it has a touch of sparkle, so I had to add the Genial Gems to keep the sparkle going.
The greeting comes from the Beauty of Friendship stamp set / bundle. I chose the Cinnamon Cider as a mat and Merry Merlot as my card base … they pull those colors out of the designer paper. I find this suite / bundle very gender neutral … who wouldn’t love these cards!
My second card I’m using the same pattern of the Beauty of the Earth Designer Series paper and the Beautiful Trees dies. Another simple card when using your Stampin’ Cut & Emboss machine. The greeting comes from the Beauty of Friendship stamp set included in the bundle.
Ready to see another card using the same paper? The amazing thing is that each one looks sooo different! I used a landscape layout verses the portrait as I did on the first two cards and created this unique card. I also used Night of Navy on this card to pull out the blue in the designer paper.
I created the frame with the Stitched Rectangle Dies … I love this look, it’s new and fresh and highlights the designer paper. I added the tree and greeting from the bundle …
Now lets change things up a little by using a different pattern from our Beauty of the Earth Designer paper and a fun technique … the “Split Card Technique”. I’m using Old Olive and Early Espresso to coordinate with my designer paper. You can watch the video to see how to create this card yourself by CLICKING HERE!
Now I would like to bring in one of the “hottest designer papers” right now, and that is the NEW HORIZONS Designer paper … so many pretty patterns would work perfectly with the dies from the Beauty of the Earth bundle. The watercolor landscapes look so cool with the tree.
The next card I share with you has a card base is Early Espresso …. so is the tree itself, it made the Misty Moonlight designer paper from the Beauty of the Earth Designer paper really pop, and when I added the leaves to the trees … WOW! The leaves on the bottom are just another die cut of the top … just cut up into smaller pieces to lay upon the ground. So pretty!
The last card I have to share with you, has the same watercolor background paper that I used on the “You Inspire Me” card but I’m changing up the seasons. Once the leaves are gone … well, winter comes next, and it makes for the perfect Christmas card …
I just love this card and I used the Chalk pen and Wink of Stella to add snow to my tree! How fun is that! I just wanted to show you that this is not just another tree set, but a bundle / or suite that can be used for any season … or any reason!!
The Beauty of the Earth Suite is still available, but if you are just looking for the bundle … it’s 20% Off right now. I always wonder if Stampin’ Up! will retire a stamp set when they put it on sale … so if this is on your “Wish List”, you may want to consider getting it now and enjoy the extra savings!! You can click on any of the images below for details on the bundles or to begin shopping … it takes you directly to my store.
Thank you for joining me this Sunday for my card parade, I hope you enjoyed the many styles of cards. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Today I’d like to share a fun, easy and quick way to make POP UP cards. I love the look on my grandkids faces when the open up the card and up pops the greeting, a stamped image or a Gift Card!!
Grab a cup of coffee and sit back while we watch the replay of my LIVE video last night … then I will share my finished card inside and out!
Don’t you just love to find fun and easy ways to make people smile. You can put your “POP UP” insert inside any card like I showed in the video. I’ll be sharing the Paper Pumpkin card shown in the video…
As I suggested in the video, I tucked another present inside the card …
Too cute and some “eye poppin'” fun as well. I hope I’ve inspired you to grab some cardstock and a scissors and create some POP UP cards for your friends and family.
Today I have a beautiful card to share highlighting the Poinsettia Petals Stamp set. Today I began with just Stamp * Ink * and Paper …. then introduced our Stampin’ Blends to create the stunning color on our poinsettia and a little texture on the background.
The card base is Cherry Cobbler as is the piece that I textured using the Tasteful Textile Embossing folder … The texture really makes the focal point of the card pop! My Basic White stamped piece measures 4″ x 2-3/4″ and the Basic Black mat measures 4-1/8″ x 2-7/8″ … you can use 1/4″ measurements on the mat to make it easier cutting (4-1/4″ x 3″).
Next, I stamped the Poinsettia in the upper-left hand corner, and the greeting in the lower-left hand corner.
Now it’s time to color … I’m using the Dark Poppy Parade and Dark Cherry Cobbler. I color the entire petal with the Dark Poppy Parade and then use the lines in the image to color in the Dark Cherry Cobbler. They blend so easily together and give you a deep rich color (the photo does not do it justice!) Once finished, I go back with the Dark Cherry Cobbler and color just the area closest to the yellow center … this was colored with Dark Daffodil Delight and highlighted with Wink of Stella.
I finished off the card with three of my favorites, the Elegant Faceted Gems and tied it up with the Bakers Twine from the Playful Pets Trim Combo pack. Don’t ever be afraid to grab items from another bundle / suite to enhance your cards & hand stamped projects!
Thank you for checking in on me today …
Enjoy your Sunday!

Today I’d like to introduce you to one of Stampin’ Up!s Artisian Team members and her stunning projects … My name is Tammy Wilson and I live in Dayton, Nevada. Today I’ll be sharing three different holiday projects with you that I created using the Whimsical Trees Bundle and the Seasonal Labels Dies. I am sharing Tammy’s projects and “her” descriptions … These amazing products are on the “Retirement List”
With a touch of shabby chic inspiration, I used the Whimsical Trees Bundle, Seasonal Labels Dies, and Peaceful Place Specialty Designer Series Paper to create my banner, card, and gift tag. By adding a variety of ribbon, along with the Subtle Shimmer Sequins, I stepped up the shabby chic look just a bit more.
To create the trees, I started with Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper and added a wash of color using my Blushing Bride Classic Stampin’ Pad and a Water Painter. After I dried the paper with a Heat Tool, I cut out the trees using one of the dies from the Whimsical Trees Bundle.
For the tree garland, I used the Silver Foil Specialty Pack along with a die from the Whimsical Tree Bundle. (Tip: To give the Silver Foil Specialty Pack paper more of a vintage feel, lightly sand the paper before die-cutting.)
For the card, I started with Basic White Thick Cardstock, embossed it with the Macrame 3D Embossing Folder, and layered a slightly larger piece of Basic White Thick Cardstock underneath. I then used a few Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the panel to a Blushing Bride Cardstock base. For a fun bit of texture, I used 8″ lengths of the three ribbons and cut them in half vertically. After I folded the ribbon in half, I tied white Baker’s Twine around the bundle. I also sprinkled on several Subtle Shimmer Sequins.
For the gift tag, I punched a hole at the top of the label, then added some white Baker’s Twine for the hanger. To create the bow, I used 10″ lengths of the three ribbons, cut them in half vertically, then trimmed the ends to the desired length.
I hope you enjoyed Tammy Wilson’s projects … easy to see why she is on the Artisan Team! I do not have the bundle but have some cute projects to share with you in the next couple of day. Thanks for stopping by today ~

Yesterday I shared a “simply” beautiful card using the Peaceful Prints Designer paper, and today I have another with this paper but highlighting the NEW Holly Border Punch. It was something on my Wish List so today I wanted to share this card with you… these two holiday treats paired perfectly together.
Like you, I get bogged down with work, chores, kids … yes, mine are older but they still call Mom!! lol So I like to share pretty cards that are quick & easy card to make. A little layering and it looks all decked out!!
I chose this cute polka dot paper so the green would show through the punched holly! It’s actually 2 pieces, one behind the holly punch and the other as our background. I used Basic Black with the Holly punch to create an eye catching impact!
I layered a piece of red plaid behind the holly piece to add a pop of color and to coordinate and make the Red Rhinestones light up the card. I used the “Take Your Pick” tool to pick up and apply the rhinestones to my card.
Both designer paper patterns are from the limited time offer Peaceful Prints Designer Paper as our background. This paper is just one of the items you can get for FREE with a $50 purchase!
I used the Tidings & Trimmings stamp set for my greeting, it is stamped with our Tuxedo Black Momento Ink and punched with the Double Oval punch.
I used the adorable White Glitter Organdy Ribbon to tie together all of the white on the card and add just a little more sparkle, as if the 23 Red Rhinestones didn’t do it!! Some girls like their sparkle … just saying 😉
Don’t forget … the Peaceful Prints designer paper is FREE for a limited time. Our Sale-a-bration period ends in just 3 days! I have included a list of ingredients for you below.
Thank you for joining me day. I hope your day is a good one!

We just kicked back to welcome autumn in with it’s warm days, cool nights and stunning colors and then got a major jolt when “this” was announced …. YIKES!
Are you ready? If you are looking for a quick & easy card to make this holiday season this could be exactly what you are looking for …. And the Designer Paper is FREE!
We begin with this limited time offer Peaceful Prints Designer Paper as our background. This paper is just one of the items you can get for FREE with a $50 purchase! The red plaid with white snowflakes such a fun holiday print, and just one of many “merry” patterns.
Here is the entire packet of the Peaceful Prints Designer Series paper …
I chose to compliment this designer paper with a pop of Basic Black in the form of a banner and the card base. Another banner was added in Basic White to stamp our greeting.
I used the Shimmer Snowflake to draw your eye to the focal point … our deer! The deer uses the coordinating punch and Peaceful Printed designer paper. That’s right, the deer is punched from the designer paper …
This cute card is easy to make and you’ll love saving money on your cards this year because the Peaceful Prints designer paper is FREE! I have a list of ingredients below for you.
Thank you for stopping by and sharing a part of your Sunday with me.

Are you ready for another card from the Peaceful Cabin Bundle and Peaceful Place Specialty Designer paper? Today’s card highlights the pattern with several cabins on it … it is so pretty, I just had to use it and share it with you.
If you’re looking for a quick & easy card to make this holiday season this could be exactly what you are looking for …. You will get 12 cards just from this pattern!
I also love that this beautiful card could be sent to your best girlfriend or your brother as we would all love to spend some time in that lovely A-Frame house … at least I would. As a child I had a fascination with them, so unique and beautiful!
Here is the entire packet of the Peaceful Place Designer Series paper …
I chose to compliment this designer paper with a pop of Real Red to usher in that holiday feeling. The swish of the ribbon adds movement to the card like the breeze of winter winds.
I used the Everyday Label punch to showcase my sentiment and then added a pop of the red behind it to make it really create it as the focal point …
A touch of the Wink of Stella on the two main cabins in the woods really adds that wintry shimmer to our scene. I added a little sparkle to my card with the Wonderful Gems. These are adhesive-backed, faceted gems with gold glitter flecks. You see a touch of that shimmer in the ribbon as well … it coordinates so lovely together.
Thank you for stopping by and sharing a part of your Sunday with me.
Have a beautiful day ~

And a HAPPY Friday to you all. Today I have two cards to share with you. Yesterday I shared my Be Dazzled card from the amazing Merriest Moments bundle, and near the end I said I thought it would look good with a Evening Evergreen base … so here it is!!
I liked yesterdays card, but I really like it with the Evening Evergreen card base. It’s pretty elegant. My next card is also using the Merriest Moments but it’s a fun & simple card.
I used a card base as I did above, this time in Whisper White … the card front is 4″ x 5-1/4″ and is embossed with the Merriest Frames Hybrid Folder.
I complimented the embossed card front with the Wonderful Snowflakes in the Mini Catalog.
The greeting comes from our bundled stamp set and was stamped onto Basic White cardstock and die cut with the die included with our bundle … it fits perfectly in the framed space!
I told you this special bundle is so fun to use! This is only the third card that I have shared so far, and each of them are so different.
Thank you for joining me today. I hope you have the “merriest” of weekends ~

And how are you this fine day? The weekend is almost here, the kids are returning to school and I am busy preparing for some amazing upcoming events!! First off, my clubs start up in only a couple weeks, then there is World Cardmaking Day on October 2nd and my Stamping Retreat in early November! I can’t tell you how much fun it is to sit down and just make cards … then I pick out which ones I’ll be using for each event!!
Last week I shared this card from the amazing Merriest Moments bundle. Here is the link to the blog post if you’d like directions for this cards … CLICK HERE!
Today I’ve created something magical … I teamed up the Merriest Moments with the beautiful Bedazzled Special Paper from our Sale-a-bration Catalog! You see, with the purchase of the Merriest Moments Bundle, you can get this dazzling paper for free!and that is what Christmas is to me.
You will begin with a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock … your card base 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″. Then you will use the Bedazzled as your front piece. Both of these pieced will be run through your Cut & Emboss machine. When doing the card base it’s easiest if you have your score line for the fold done first so you can align the edge of your folder to the score line.
Once you have both pieces embossed, you will see how the Bedazzled paper will nest nicely onto the embossed image on your card front and the pretty little snow flakes show through. And yes, this bundle comes with the embossing folder, dies and stamp set.
The greeting comes from our bundled stamp set and was stamped onto Very Vanilla cardstock in Evening Evergreen, and die cut with the die included with our bundle … it fits perfectly in the framed space! To complete the card I added some of the Evening Evergreen Rhinestones from the 2021-23 In-Color Gems to carry through our glitz for the holidays.
This special bundle is so fun to use, and you’ll be creating wonderful holiday cards for your friends & family in no time. This sweet and simple card is so easy to make, yet looks so pretty and elegant!
If you wanted to make this card more elegant, I would make the card base in the Evening Evergreen as well, and carry that rich color throughout the entire card!!
Thank you for dropping in and checking out my blog. Enjoy your day~

When do you start making your Christmas cards? Some of my stamping friends are just choosing their designs, while others are done! Oh my! I am not that prepared … teehee! Today I have a most wonderful card to share with you, and I’ve used an amazing bundle which has some unique qualities and I’ll walk you through them.
This is really a simple layout but the uniqueness of this bundle makes it look like you’ve slaved the afternoon away, when in fact, you’ll just run it the your Cut & Emboss machine a few times and you’ve created something magical … and that is what Christmas is to me.
You will begin with two pieces of Mossy Meadow cardstock … one for your card base 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ and your front piece 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″. Both of these pieced will be run through your Cuti & Emboss machine. When doing the card base it’s easiest if you have your score line for the fold done first so you can align the edge of your folder to the score line.
Once you have both pieces embossed, set aside the card base and take the quarter sheet and die cut it using the “largest open die” …. it will nest nicely onto the embossed image. And yes, this bundle comes with the embossing folder, dies and stamp set.
Now that the front is die cut, you will notice that it also layers nicely onto the embossed half of the card base, but before you attach it (we used dimensionals) use your sponge daubers and add some Mossy Meadow ink onto the edges … this gives you some dimension by adding a soft touch of the same color.
The greeting comes from our bundled stamp set and was stamped onto Very Vanilla cardstock in Mossy Meadow, and die cut with the die included with our bundle … it fits perfectly in the framed space! To complete the card we added some Opal Rounds to add a touch of glitz for the holidays.
This special bundle is so fun to use, and you’ll be creating wonderful holiday cards for your friends & family in no time. And the sentiment says it all during the holidays … Together is the Merriest Place to be!
Thank you for dropping in and checking out my blog. Enjoy your day~
