Whimsical Trees Bundle

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Today I’d like to introduce you to one of Stampin’ Up!s Artisian Team members and her stunning projects … My name is Tammy Wilson and I live in Dayton, Nevada. Today I’ll be sharing three different holiday projects with you that I created using the Whimsical Trees Bundle and the Seasonal Labels Dies. I am sharing Tammy’s projects and “her” descriptions … These amazing products are on the “Retirement List”

With a touch of shabby chic inspiration, I used the Whimsical Trees Bundle, Seasonal Labels Dies, and Peaceful Place Specialty Designer Series Paper to create my banner, card, and gift tag. By adding a variety of ribbon, along with the Subtle Shimmer Sequins, I stepped up the shabby chic look just a bit more.

To create the trees, I started with Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper and added a wash of color using my Blushing Bride Classic Stampin’ Pad and a Water Painter. After I dried the paper with a Heat Tool, I cut out the trees using one of the dies from the Whimsical Trees Bundle.

For the tree garland, I used the Silver Foil Specialty Pack along with a die from the Whimsical Tree Bundle. (Tip: To give the Silver Foil Specialty Pack paper more of a vintage feel, lightly sand the paper before die-cutting.)

For the card, I started with Basic White Thick Cardstock, embossed it with the Macrame 3D Embossing Folder, and layered a slightly larger piece of Basic White Thick Cardstock underneath. I then used a few Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the panel to a Blushing Bride Cardstock base. For a fun bit of texture, I used 8″ lengths of the three ribbons and cut them in half vertically. After I folded the ribbon in half, I tied white Baker’s Twine around the bundle. I also sprinkled on several Subtle Shimmer Sequins.

For the gift tag, I punched a hole at the top of the label, then added some white Baker’s Twine for the hanger. To create the bow, I used 10″ lengths of the three ribbons, cut them in half vertically, then trimmed the ends to the desired length.

I hope you enjoyed Tammy Wilson’s projects … easy to see why she is on the Artisan Team! I do not have the bundle but have some cute projects to share with you in the next couple of day. Thanks for stopping by today ~

Simply Sunday: Beauty of the Earth Card Parade

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

I have a treat for you today … a simple yet beautiful Slim Line card and a parade of other cards that were created from the amazing Beauty of the Earth Suite. I will also be sharing some fun techniques on these cards so, grab a cup of coffee and sit back with me while we go through these creative gems!

First up is my Slimline cards, this card fits in a business size envelope … I’m using two different patterns from the Beauty of the Earth Designer paper and joined them together with the pretty Gold Fine Art Ribbon; it has a touch of sparkle, so I had to add the Genial Gems to keep the sparkle going.

The greeting comes from the Beauty of Friendship stamp set / bundle. I chose the Cinnamon Cider as a mat and Merry Merlot as my card base … they pull those colors out of the designer paper. I find this suite / bundle very gender neutral … who wouldn’t love these cards!

My second card I’m using the same pattern of the Beauty of the Earth Designer Series paper and the Beautiful Trees dies. Another simple card when using your Stampin’ Cut & Emboss machine. The greeting comes from the Beauty of Friendship stamp set included in the bundle.

Ready to see another card using the same paper? The amazing thing is that each one looks sooo different! I used a landscape layout verses the portrait as I did on the first two cards and created this unique card. I also used Night of Navy on this card to pull out the blue in the designer paper.

I created the frame with the Stitched Rectangle Dies … I love this look, it’s new and fresh and highlights the designer paper. I added the tree and greeting from the bundle …

Now lets change things up a little by using a different pattern from our Beauty of the Earth Designer paper and a fun technique … the “Split Card Technique”. I’m using Old Olive and Early Espresso to coordinate with my designer paper. You can watch the video to see how to create this card yourself by CLICKING HERE!

Yesterday I shared the next card with you … the card base is Early Espresso and so is the tree itself, it made the Misty Moonlight designer paper from the Beauty of the Earth Designer paper really pop, and when I added the leaves to the trees … WOW! The leaves on the bottom are just another die cut of the top … just cut up into smaller pieces to lay upon the ground. So pretty!

The last card I have to share with you, used the same watercolor background paper but I’m changing up the seasons. Once the leaves are gone … well, winter comes next, and it makes for the perfect Christmas card …

I just love this card and I used the Chalk pen and Wink of Stella to add snow to my tree! How fun is that! I just wanted to show you that this is not just another tree set, but a bundle / or suite that can be used for any season … or any reason!!

Thank you for joining me this Sunday for my card parade, I hope you enjoyed the many styles of cards. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Stop back tomorrow as I have another card that you’ll enjoy!!

Joyful Christmas …

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Yesterday I shared a “simply” beautiful card using the Peaceful Prints Designer paper, and today I have another with this paper but highlighting the NEW Holly Border Punch. It was something on my Wish List so today I wanted to share this card with you… these two holiday treats paired perfectly together.

Like you, I get bogged down with work, chores, kids … yes, mine are older but they still call Mom!! lol So I like to share pretty cards that are quick & easy card to make. A little layering and it looks all decked out!!

I chose this cute polka dot paper so the green would show through the punched holly! It’s actually 2 pieces, one behind the holly punch and the other as our background. I used Basic Black with the Holly punch to create an eye catching impact!

I layered a piece of red plaid behind the holly piece to add a pop of color and to coordinate and make the Red Rhinestones light up the card. I used the “Take Your Pick” tool to pick up and apply the rhinestones to my card.

Both designer paper patterns are from the limited time offer Peaceful Prints Designer Paper as our background. This paper is just one of the items you can get for FREE with a $50 purchase!

I used the Tidings & Trimmings stamp set for my greeting, it is stamped with our Tuxedo Black Momento Ink and punched with the Double Oval punch.

I used the adorable White Glitter Organdy Ribbon to tie together all of the white on the card and add just a little more sparkle, as if the 23 Red Rhinestones didn’t do it!! Some girls like their sparkle … just saying 😉

Don’t forget … the Peaceful Prints designer paper is FREE for a limited time. Our Sale-a-bration period ends in just 3 days! I have included a list of ingredients for you below.

Thank you for joining me day. I hope your day is a good one!

Simple Sunday: Christmas Deer

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

We just kicked back to welcome autumn in with it’s warm days, cool nights and stunning colors and then got a major jolt when “this” was announced …. YIKES!

Are you ready? If you are looking for a quick & easy card to make this holiday season this could be exactly what you are looking for …. And the Designer Paper is FREE!

We begin with this limited time offer Peaceful Prints Designer Paper as our background. This paper is just one of the items you can get for FREE with a $50 purchase! The red plaid with white snowflakes such a fun holiday print, and just one of many “merry” patterns.

Here is the entire packet of the Peaceful Prints Designer Series paper …

I chose to compliment this designer paper with a pop of Basic Black in the form of a banner and the card base. Another banner was added in Basic White to stamp our greeting.

I used the Shimmer Snowflake to draw your eye to the focal point … our deer! The deer uses the coordinating punch and Peaceful Printed designer paper. That’s right, the deer is punched from the designer paper …

This cute card is easy to make and you’ll love saving money on your cards this year because the Peaceful Prints designer paper is FREE! I have a list of ingredients below for you.

Thank you for stopping by and sharing a part of your Sunday with me.

Simple Sunday: Wintry Cabin

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Are you ready for another card from the Peaceful Cabin Bundle and Peaceful Place Specialty Designer paper? Today’s card highlights the pattern with several cabins on it … it is so pretty, I just had to use it and share it with you.

If you’re looking for a quick & easy card to make this holiday season this could be exactly what you are looking for …. You will get 12 cards just from this pattern!

I also love that this beautiful card could be sent to your best girlfriend or your brother as we would all love to spend some time in that lovely A-Frame house … at least I would. As a child I had a fascination with them, so unique and beautiful!

Here is the entire packet of the Peaceful Place Designer Series paper …

I chose to compliment this designer paper with a pop of Real Red to usher in that holiday feeling. The swish of the ribbon adds movement to the card like the breeze of winter winds.

I used the Everyday Label punch to showcase my sentiment and then added a pop of the red behind it to make it really create it as the focal point …

A touch of the Wink of Stella on the two main cabins in the woods really adds that wintry shimmer to our scene. I added a little sparkle to my card with the Wonderful Gems. These are adhesive-backed, faceted gems with gold glitter flecks. You see a touch of that shimmer in the ribbon as well … it coordinates so lovely together.

Thank you for stopping by and sharing a part of your Sunday with me.

Have a beautiful day ~

The Merriest Place to Be …

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

And a HAPPY Friday to you all. Today I have two cards to share with you. Yesterday I shared my Be Dazzled card from the amazing Merriest Moments bundle, and near the end I said I thought it would look good with a Evening Evergreen base … so here it is!!

I liked yesterdays card, but I really like it with the Evening Evergreen card base. It’s pretty elegant. My next card is also using the Merriest Moments but it’s a fun & simple card.

I used a card base as I did above, this time in Whisper White … the card front is 4″ x 5-1/4″ and is embossed with the Merriest Frames Hybrid Folder.

I complimented the embossed card front with the Wonderful Snowflakes in the Mini Catalog.

The greeting comes from our bundled stamp set and was stamped onto Basic White cardstock and die cut with the die included with our bundle … it fits perfectly in the framed space!

I told you this special bundle is so fun to use! This is only the third card that I have shared so far, and each of them are so different.

Thank you for joining me today. I hope you have the “merriest” of weekends ~

Make your Merriest Moments Bedazzling!

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

And how are you this fine day? The weekend is almost here, the kids are returning to school and I am busy preparing for some amazing upcoming events!! First off, my clubs start up in only a couple weeks, then there is World Cardmaking Day on October 2nd and my Stamping Retreat in early November! I can’t tell you how much fun it is to sit down and just make cards … then I pick out which ones I’ll be using for each event!!

Last week I shared this card from the amazing Merriest Moments bundle. Here is the link to the blog post if you’d like directions for this cards … CLICK HERE!

Today I’ve created something magical … I teamed up the Merriest Moments with the beautiful Bedazzled Special Paper from our Sale-a-bration Catalog! You see, with the purchase of the Merriest Moments Bundle, you can get this dazzling paper for free!and that is what Christmas is to me.

You will begin with a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock … your card base 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″. Then you will use the Bedazzled as your front piece. Both of these pieced will be run through your Cut & Emboss machine. When doing the card base it’s easiest if you have your score line for the fold done first so you can align the edge of your folder to the score line.

Once you have both pieces embossed, you will see how the Bedazzled paper will nest nicely onto the embossed image on your card front and the pretty little snow flakes show through. And yes, this bundle comes with the embossing folder, dies and stamp set.

The greeting comes from our bundled stamp set and was stamped onto Very Vanilla cardstock in Evening Evergreen, and die cut with the die included with our bundle … it fits perfectly in the framed space! To complete the card I added some of the Evening Evergreen Rhinestones from the 2021-23 In-Color Gems to carry through our glitz for the holidays.

This special bundle is so fun to use, and you’ll be creating wonderful holiday cards for your friends & family in no time. This sweet and simple card is so easy to make, yet looks so pretty and elegant!

If you wanted to make this card more elegant, I would make the card base in the Evening Evergreen as well, and carry that rich color throughout the entire card!!

Thank you for dropping in and checking out my blog. Enjoy your day~

Together creates the Merriest Moments

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

When do you start making your Christmas cards? Some of my stamping friends are just choosing their designs, while others are done! Oh my! I am not that prepared … teehee! Today I have a most wonderful card to share with you, and I’ve used an amazing bundle which has some unique qualities and I’ll walk you through them.

This is really a simple layout but the uniqueness of this bundle makes it look like you’ve slaved the afternoon away, when in fact, you’ll just run it the your Cut & Emboss machine a few times and you’ve created something magical … and that is what Christmas is to me.

You will begin with two pieces of Mossy Meadow cardstock … one for your card base 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ and your front piece 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″. Both of these pieced will be run through your Cuti & Emboss machine. When doing the card base it’s easiest if you have your score line for the fold done first so you can align the edge of your folder to the score line.

Once you have both pieces embossed, set aside the card base and take the quarter sheet and die cut it using the “largest open die” …. it will nest nicely onto the embossed image. And yes, this bundle comes with the embossing folder, dies and stamp set.

Now that the front is die cut, you will notice that it also layers nicely onto the embossed half of the card base, but before you attach it (we used dimensionals) use your sponge daubers and add some Mossy Meadow ink onto the edges … this gives you some dimension by adding a soft touch of the same color.

The greeting comes from our bundled stamp set and was stamped onto Very Vanilla cardstock in Mossy Meadow, and die cut with the die included with our bundle … it fits perfectly in the framed space! To complete the card we added some Opal Rounds to add a touch of glitz for the holidays.

This special bundle is so fun to use, and you’ll be creating wonderful holiday cards for your friends & family in no time. And the sentiment says it all during the holidays … Together is the Merriest Place to be!

Thank you for dropping in and checking out my blog. Enjoy your day~

Peaceful “Halloween” Place …

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Today I have 2 more cards that highlight the beautiful Peaceful Place Specialty Designer Paper. These A2 size cards come from the extra piece that was cut off during my demonstration showing you how to cut the designer paper in yesterday’s video.

The first card you got a peek at in the video … it’s my Halloween Shaker Card. This may have little snowflakes on it but it fits perfectly for a Halloween card in Wisconsin! lol

We know the width of our designer paper was 3-3/4″ so to fit onto the card base with an even border … we need to cut it down to 5″. Then cut at 5″ again so you have 2 card fronts. Your mat will measure 4″ x 5-1/4″ and your base is 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ then score at 4-1/4″. Your layers are ready … what colors did you pick? My card base is Basic Black and the mat is Highland Heather! Don’t forget your window sheet… you’ll need it for the Shaker Card.

I used the Cute Halloween Designer paper and fussy cut my skulls and tombstones, then added them to the Subtle Shimmer Sequins to create my shaker. I used the Layering Rectangle Frames to lock in my shaker.

I created a cute little bow to attach to my frame using the Black & White Gingham Ribbon dyes Highland Heather using the Stampin’ Blends. To finish off my card … I used the “Spooky” from the Festive & Bright Stamp set.

Isn’t this just the cutest Halloween card? If this excites you … imagine the look on your childs/grandchilds face when you give them this card!!

The second piece of designer paper will be used for a Christmas Card … I’ve decided to highlight the neutral colors in the designer paper. Now that I’m looking at it finished here, I think I would have like to add the silver foil behind me trees! Have you ever done that before? Well … I have another 12 x 12 inch sheet of this paper so I’ll add it to my next one.

The trees and the greeting come from the Peaceful Deer stamp set and works pretty good with the designer paper. I don’t have to coordinating cabin bundle yet … but you’ve convinced me that I want it … and that I will share plenty with you.

You’ll notice that I used the Subtle Shimmer Sequins on this card as well as the shaker! Might as well get as much use out of our products as we can … Right!

How could I forget … I couldn’t resist added some Wink of Stella on my trees. That little extra sparkle just fit in well with the designer paper.

Thank you so much for joining me today. I hope you enjoyed getting to see what you can do with the extra pieces of paper that was cut from our Peaceful Place 12 x 12 designer paper.

Christmas Layers Dies, Not just for Christmas …

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Today I am sharing cards were created with the Christmas Layers Dies. These were paired with the Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set … both of these items are retiring, and I’m taking a look back to share with you some cute cards in case these are on your retiring Wish List!

I wanted to show the different elements of the stamp set and dies to demonstrate how versatile this bundle is.

The first card is bursting with holiday flair and is decked out in gold.  The floral pattern really highlights the greeting and ties in the gold throughout the card so nicely. The Shades Spruce and Cherry Cobbler look so regal … You can use the Plaid Tidings Designer paper which is currently on our Clearance Rack!

Here is another sample that highlights the floral dies cuts … I love these, they actually look more like a metal embellishment than a die cut piece of cardstock!! They also used the die cut image to create a fun background on this card.

My second card is so different from the first in that we have created our own “Shimmer” paper by spritzing the beautiful Seaside Spray from our 2019 – 2021 In Color collection.  For a little more sparkle, the snowflakes are cut from the Sparkle Shimmer Paper! But wait … there is one more layer of sparkle when I added the Rhinestones to the snowflakes.

This card is just simply elegant and done with White and Silver … and yes, graced with a touch of glitter. Instead of die cutting the image and adhering it to the base as I did in the first card, I actually cut it out of the front and used it to impose a second layer to the card… stunning.

I have another samples the highlights the foliage die …

If you didn’t know these cards were from the same stamp set/dies … you might not know that they were!  Oh wait … I have one more project that can be created with these stunning dies.

Each of these cards/projects were done with the Christmas Layers Dies and the Itty Bitty Christmas Stamp Set. I have “one more” card sample for you below!!

Thanks for checking in with me today … meet you back here tomorrow.

Have some fun today!

Simply Sunday: Christmas Around the World

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Today I have a special card I would like to share with you. This card was created during my “Countdown to Christmas” virtual party during my “Stamp with Me” session yesterday. What a wonderful collaboration it was! Here is what we came up with ….

We were using the “Trimming the Town” Suite … They chose the base color of Misty Moonlight, which house we were going to use, how many trees and which of the two colors from the “All the Trimmings” ribbon we were going to use.

I chose the designer paper with Christmas greetings is the different languages because 2020 has been a year like no other… and we all went through this together. For some this pandemic and election has divided us but my WISH for Christmas is to realize life is short, don’t sweat the small stuff, and make it all small stuff … it’s time to gather our hearts together.

We used the Snow Globe dies and Shaker Domes to create our ornament on the card. The house and tree were cut out using the Home Together Dies from the Trimming the Town product suite. A dash of glittery snow was added and our card was complete!

They are so cute and super easy to make … they could also be made into gift tags to add to your presents!!

Thank you for joining me today, I hope your Sunday is Simply beautiful.

Another Quick Christmas Card

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Yesterday I shared a Quick -n- Easy Christmas Card that I created with the Wonder of the Season Memories and More Card Pack, and I have another version for you today!

Still didn’t break out the stamps and ink yet … just a little cutting and some stampin’ dimensionals and a touch of Wink of Stella …

The two (4″ x 6″) cards I used are actually the same … The front of the card is the “Celebrate the Season” which I cut out, and the back side is the holly which I used as my card front.

The holly card was trimmed down to 5-1/4″ and the piece that was cut off was tucked on the inside to decorate that too!

To finish off my card … I highlighted the greeting with my Wink of Stella. It adds a beautiful sparkle to the card.

Have a wonderful day, and thank you for joining me today.

Minnie or Mickey Card…

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

I’m excited to share what I came up with from the “Embossing Paste” background I made on Tuesday night. I hope you got a chance to watch the video yesterday, if you did … you know that I’ve created a card with the “polka dot” embossed background. Using the embossing paste adds such a fun texture to your card.

Well my friends, I couldn’t decide how I wanted to do this … so I did two cards!! I mentioned that the background reminded me of Minnie Mouse, so I thought … How Cute Would That Be??

I am just tickled pink with how it turned out!! It’s all glitzy … the background was done with the Shimmery White Embossing Paste, Minnie is from the Black Glitter paper and the greeting is highlighted with “Wink of Stella”!!

I used the “bow tie” from the upcoming “Well Suited” bundle with the Red Foil paper. The greeting comes from the Toile Christmas stamp set and die cut from the Christmas Cardinal die set. The greeting banner was colored with the Garden Green marker to coordinate with the leaf that was cut from the Poinsettia dies.

I couldn’t stop there, I had to have a Mickey!!

Made the background the same as above … polka dot mask and Shimmery White Embossing paste, I love it!! Mickey was made the same as Minnie but the hair bow was turned into a bow tie.

I used the “celebrate” from a past Paper Pumpkin kit but felt that it worked perfect for this card. This is one of the biggest benefits of being a Paper Pumpkin subscriber. I die cut it from the Tasteful Labels dies…. same with the Black Glitter base.

I hope you enjoyed seeing what I created with the polka dot embossing paste … I had a “HOOT” making these! I may end up using Mickey for my daughters birthday, she is way more into Mickey than she is a “foo foo” card!

Thank you so much for sharing part of your day with me. Join me back here tomorrow as I share the “lacey” background on the Peony Garden Designer Paper.

Enjoy your day ~

The Ease of Embossing Paste in Cardmaking …

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Have you ever looked through the catalog and wondered “What is that for” … “How would I use that”? Well, today I’d like to answer that question on our “Shimmer White Embossing Paste! Time to make things Shimmer & Shine!!

You can now create tasteful texture and subtle sparkle with our Shimmery White Embossing Paste, and my video will show you how easy it is to apply. Grab a cup of coffee or your favorite beverage and sit back and enjoy …..

I hope you enjoyed the video and watching my “creative process” as I work through how I built up this card. Can’t wait for you to see how the other “embossed masks” look when completed!

Here are some different angles of today’s card. We began with the Feels Like Frost Designer Series Paper and Seaside Spray cardstock and ink ….

I added the ribbon on my card because of a little line left from the masking. I do believe if I had used some washi tape or removable tape, it would have stopped that from happening.

My greeting was added and punched out with the Tailored Tag Punch, I then added some of the Seaside Spray cardstock behind the greeting before I popped it up with the Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The above photograph really shows what I wanted to highlight with my design … the shimmery tree from the paste and mask turned out so well and pairs perfectly with the images on the Feels Like Frost Designer paper.

The Elegant Faceted Gems really highlight the entire card as well … that little sparkle ties in so nicely with the Shimmery White Embossing Paste.

** Just make sure you clean off your mask and tools as you work, it will make it much easier when you are finished with your card.

Thank you so much for hanging out with me today, to view the video and check out my cards. Are you inspired to try the Embossing Paste? I hope so … I have even more to show you with this fun medium!

Have a sparkling good day ~
