Thinking of You Card …

Hello Stampin’ Friends,

I am happy to share a beautiful card with you today that I created with the Bird Ballad suite which features the Free as a Bird Bundle.  My card was inspired by two friends, Evelyn from Canada and Becky who is in my downline! I have this amazing suite at home and when I saw what these ladies created, I decided to make one for you!!

April is my birthday month so I also have a “Special” deal for anyone who orders through me … plus, you’ll still receive your Virtual Rewards points! I’ll share more about that later.  Now I would like to introduce you to my Bird Ballad card ….

The card highlights the Laser-cut card with envelopes that come in a pretty tin that you can keep, or give to a friend filled with beautiful cards.  It is just part of the Bird Ballad Suite …

The Bird Ballad Suite Bundle gives you a coordinating selection of products with one simple purchase. It includes the stamp set and tool bundle at 10% off plus one each of the other items listed.

The Bird Ballad Suite Bundle includes
* Free as a Bird Cling Stamp Set (10% off)
* Stitched Nested Labels Dies (10% off)
* Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper
* Bird Ballad Laser-Cut Cards & Tin
* Very Vanilla 3/8″ (1 cm) Scalloped Lace Trim
* Bird Ballad Trinkets

Not only does my card highlight the Laser-cut Cards, it showcases the Bird Ballad Designer Series paper. The Laser-cut cards are beautiful and I really wanted emphasize the delicate lace pattern so I sponged the insert.

The great thing about this card is you can use any color cardstock behind the lace … or you can leave it just the way it is.  I chose my colors based off the colors in the Bird Ballad Designer paper, and YES, I fussy cut out the bird and flowers.  I find it relaxing… and we have plenty of time on our hands!

To create an illusion of depth, I sponged the edges of my Petal Pink cardstock with Calypso Coral and came in much farther on tow of my corners. I just really like this effect.

Here are the ingredients for today’s card … I have listed the entire suite, and then broke it down into the core items I used today …

Supply List

It’s my Birthday month so I’d like to celebrate by giving you a GIFT!  Since “Diamonds” are my birthstone and April is “Tax Time” … I will either send you a package of Rhinestones OR will pay the taxes on your order …Whichever is MORE!!  Qualifying orders of $50 or more (before Ship&Tax) can choose their FREE GIFT!  You MUST place your order “though” me so I can apply the FREE TAX or add your Rhinestones for FREE.  Here’s how it works … if you place a $50, the Rhinestones would be shipped FREE because they are higher in value than the taxes … if you placed a $100 or more order, you could choose!  Tax will vary depending where you live. This offer is Valid ONLY through me all month long!

Lets finish up the card … I did fussy cut the bird and flowers from the designer paper and layered the flowers for added dimension.  To complete my card I added some Wink of Stella to the flowers.

I love this card, and it was pretty easy to make.  The beautiful laser-cut cards brings it to another level, without the work.

Thank you so very much for joining me today! I was thrilled I got to post … I’m working on a 20 year old computer!!  This old girl has outlasted 3 laptops!!  You have a wonderful day, and just remember, I’m Thinking of you!
