We love trees and the Winter Woods Bundle is perfect for scene building and are so versatile. Oh My Gosh, I just love the die cut that gives you a 3-D effect!! And you can add snow!! Love it.

I’ve said for quite some time that Stampin’ Up! has been coordinating their sets to use together, this is just bringing it to the next level!!  Did you notice that each time Tanner was “in the woods” there was MORE woods!? LOL  I actually cracked up when I saw the squirrel in the tree … Miss it, just watch it again. lol

Keep an eye out for an upcoming “Stampin’ Event” where I will be highlighting this stamp set and several more from the Holiday Catalog!!  Make sure you are “On my email” List 🙂

Technique Tuesday: Distinktive Stamps

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Stampin’ Up! knows there is always room for innovation, which is why we’ve trademarked a new style of red rubber stamp. Named Distinktive (see what we did there?), these stamps start with a photograph, which our amazing Stampin’ Up! manufacturing team in Kanab, Utah then turns into a photorealistic red rubber stamp!

Watch Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Development Manager, Tanner Smedley, show you the innovative Distinktive Stamps. Watch how these stamps give a realistic stamped image that will wow anyone who see it.

This innovative stamp style allows you to create images with depth by simply inking and stamping once!

Here is the “Healing Hugs” stamp set that Tanner showed us in the video … a card sample will follow!

Another beautiful Distinktive Stamp Set is the “All The Good Things” stamp set with the lovely koi fish. Did you know that koi are symbols of love and friendship in Japan?

This Distinktive stamp set is perfect for creating eye-catching projects like these pretty cards …

I hope you enjoyed learning more about this awesome new stamp design.  They really create a beautiful image … you just choose they ones that reflect your style.

Thanks for sharing a part of your day with me …

Hope yours is a good one.

Alphabet Edgelits?

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

I hope you got a chance to see the cute card I shared yesterday!! I love how simple it was to make … and the color scheme, however you can use any color combination you like.

Today I want to share the video …

Have you seen the Layering Alphabet Edgelits? Watch as Tanner demonstrates the use of the Edgelits.

Aren’t these amazing? I think you could really have fun and get totally creative with this bundle.

Thanks for checking out this video, I hope you have a great day!

New In-Colors & Tips on New Pads!!

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

With all the excitement over the New Catalog release, the new In-Colors and the Color Re-Vamp I thought I would share some fun tips that Stampin’ Up! has shared with us … I’ll also share a tip or two of my own.

First up are these cute cards featuring the 2018–20 In Colors! Including Blueberry Bushel, Call Me Clover, Grapefruit Grove, Lovely Lipstick, and Pineapple Punch, these colors are a bouquet of hues that lend well to any project.

I love the new In-Colors … they are so bright and fun!! Looks like “primary” colors and the rest of our color line fill in all the gaps with beautiful hues of everything in between!!

Next up is a video explaining our NEW Ink Pads …

My hands are not what they used to be so opening with a full hand is not as easy for me … However, I have found if I put my thumb and pointer finger in the groove, I just give a little twist – just like opening a compact (and most of us know how to do that). I myself find that a bit easier.

I’ll see if I can create a short video on how I open the new ink case if you think that will help.

Till then … Thank you for joining me!

Have a bright and colorful day~

Q: What if I do not have a Stampin’ Up! customer account?
A: To reserve a Stamparatus, you must have a customer account. To create one, click Create Account on the online store.

Q: Why does it take so long for the Stamparatus to ship?
A: We will place an order with the manufacturer based on how many reservations are made during any
given reservation window. Shipping dates depend on how long it takes the order to arrive in our
warehouse after the tools have been manufactured.

Q: Will the available-to-ship dates be the same for all markets?
A: Yes.

Q: Am I billed at the time I reserve my Stamparatus?
A: No. However, a credit card is required to reserve the product.

Q: When will I be charged for the Stamparatus?

would any other product. Reservations will no longer be required, and there will be no limit on the
number of tools you can order.

Q: Once the Stamparatus has been added to my shopping cart, how long will it stay there?

Q: Can I participate in all three reservation periods?
A: Yes.

Q: How many stamp placement tools can I reserve per reservation window?
A: For customers, there is a limit of 1 per reservation window.

Q: How did we come up with the name Stamparatus?

Stampē: To impress a pattern or mark (especially an official one) on
a surface, object, or document using an engraved or inked

Carols of Christmas …

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

I’m so excited to share with you one of the cards that my “Carols of Christmas” classes got to make. The excitement is this wonderful bundle is available to order NOW!!

The “Carols of Christmas” bundle is in the upcoming Holiday Catalog which will be released on September 1st, but Stampin’ Up! is offering a pre-order so you can get your stamping started now (by all means … I need too!)  The bundle contains the Carols of Christmas Stamp Set and Card Front Builder Thinlits Dies–all at a 10% discount!

Now I’d like to show you my rendition of the first card you will see in the upcoming video …

I used the “Be Merry” Designer Series paper on a Cherry Cobbler card base. The banner was used to draw your eye to the focal point … the greeting!

The greeting is stamped in Garden Green and then partially in Cherry Cobbler (which is cut down and applied over it’s counterpart) a great way to get tow-tone colors without the coloring!

We added a few stamped accents and then embellished them with a pearl and a die cut holly!

Now I invite you to sit back relax and check out the “Carols of Christmas” video by Stampin’ Up!

How did you like the great suggestions for additional projects? I think my favorite is the framed Vellum that goes over the photo.

Thank you for hanging out with me for part of your day!

Have a great day ~
