One Last Look …

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

I hope you had a wonderful Monday, I know most people don’t like Mondays!  Mine was good, however,  I was searching high and low to find a battery charger for my camera … 6 stores sell that brand of camera but none carry the battery charger!!   My daughter and Amazon came to the rescue but it will still be a few days  before I’m back in the swing of my posting!!

Yesterday I shared “MORE” Sale-A-Bration samples with you, and I have one more for you today!  I’m so excited to share with you a “had to have” item in the SAB catalog …

Here are the Blooming Basket Bundle

Today I will share a pretty card that I created using the Blooming Basket Bundle.  The beautiful stamp set has a coordinating Embossing Folder (which will be available in the upcoming (2018-2019 Annual Catalog).

Now if you really want to see what else you can do … Let me bake you a pie!!

I just used the Oval Framelits to make my pie, and a little sponging to create the “baked” look.  This card a quite the crowd pleaser!!

Please let me know if you have any questions about our Sale-A-Bration … We only have a few days left to get in on the FREE goodies!!

Thanks for joining me today.

Have a beautiful day ~

Today’s Suggested Stampin’ Supply List …

More Sale-A-Bration Samples ….

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

I hope you had a wonderful weekend. It was a bit nippy out but the sunshine was so nice.

Did you enjoy taking a look at the Sale-A-Bration cards again? I show them at all my stampin’ parties, they ladies love ’em!! So today we will revisit a few more of my favorites ….

First is the Mixed Medallion Card Kit; a big hit with our newer stampers because the kit is pre-cut and ready to go, and it comes with full instructions …

Here are all the goodies that are included in the kit, the embellishments and envelopes …

I thought it would be fun to create something a little different with the kit, so I made a “treat pouch”. What a cute little gift this is for co-workers, your kids … anyone!

Here is a peek on the inside  …

This next one is a “WOW” item, the Springtime Foils Specialty Paper!! So, so much you can do with this amazing designer paper, keep it simple like the first card ….

or break out your Stampin’ Blends and create something fabulous! This is the second of the four patterns in the paper pack…..

The third pattern is the stripes. On the first card I kept it simple and paired it with the Petal Pair embossing folder …

On the second card using the stripe … I sponged color onto the stripe pattern and colored the embossing with the Stampin’ Blends. It almost appears as if we’ve gone from the silvery chill of winter to the warm colors of spring ….

And the forth pattern in the Springtime Foils Designer Series paper is the polka dots …. and more sponging!

And this brings me into our next Sale-A-Bration item; Epic Celebrations. If you have teenagers (or someone who thinks he is) this if a really fun stamp set to have in your collection …

This one I did for the budding young women in our lives, and some encouragement (we all need that) it’s so cute …

Let me squeeze in one more card, this one is for the rocker in your family! I used the Wood Textures Designer Series paper stack for my guitars, and yes, I cut them out by hand (fussy cutting as known to fellow demonstrators!) lol

The splatter effect was created with the use of the NEW Brusho paint powder and spritzer! So simple and fun to use and pairs so nicely with this stamp set.

This stamp set; Epic Celebrations, Springtime Foil Designer Series paper and the Mixed Medallion Card kit are all FREE with a $50 purchase during Sale-a-bration.  Hope you enjoyed the re-cap of these awesome products.

Thank you so much for hanging with me today!

Hope your Monday is a good one ~

Mixed Medallion Treat Pouch!

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Yay … It’s Friday and I’ve got a treat for you!!  Yesterday I shared the Mixed Medallion Card Kit video … what did you think? Cute? Well today I’m going to transform this card into a cute little treat pouch!

I did not do much to this card at all, and with a few strategic placement of adhesive, I created a treat pouch that anyone would love to receive …

First, I simply secured the Berry Burst flap down inside the card … I liked the color behind our cardfront so I did not want to cut it out.  Then I simple used my Fast Fuse to secure the bottom flap on each side to create the pouch / pocket.

Next … I wanted a little salutation on the inside that matched my “Thank You” greetings on the outside (In 3 different languages). I stamped it in White Craft ink and Heat Embossed it with White Embossing Powder. I think the White on White is much bolder …

Then I tucked my 3 little Merci candies into the pouch/pocket. I created a belly band to hold the top flap down and hold in my candies. I wanted to make sure it was wide enough so I made it with the candy inside.

I simply wrapped a 1″ x 11″ strip of paper around it and then where the crease came from the sides I scored it again at 1/4″ to create a wider band that would slide freely over the top.

I added the cute little Enamel Glitter Dots just for some glimmer and a little dimension to the card.

So … Did you think you could turn your card into a “gift giving candy pouch?”  I love it ❤  And I love figuring out different ways to use my products!

I hope your enjoyed today’s transformation and that your Friday has a surprise treat for you!

Thanks for joining me today ~

Rockin’ the Celebration!

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

It’s Wednesday … Wow! And I’m hoping to WOW you with this next card. With just a little fussy cutting and our Bigshot we’ve got some real dimension and texture going on, on this card.

I am using the Epic Celebrations stamp set again and I’ve teamed it up with the Layer Squares and Shaped Stitched Framelits Dies along with the Picture Perfect Designer Paper again.  I’d like you to see the different looks you can create with the same items …

I found yet another pattern from the Picture Perfect designer paper that just shouts “celebration” so I thought what better to highlight that paper than to rock it out with the guitar.

Again, I used the Watercolor Pencils on both the guitar and the head set, earphones, what ever they are called now! LOL  Both were also popped up using the Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Speaking of dimensionals, I also used them to pop up the square window so it framed the greeting!  It’s so cool to see the layer on layer but it fits into a regular A2 size envelope.

The stars are from one of our framelit dies … it gave it a more “Rock Star” look.  I often use bits -n- pieces from other stamp sets or dies, it gives you more versatility and a greater value for your purchases.

Thank you for sharing a part of your day with me, and I hope you have enjoyed this card. I found this one a bit more gender neutral than yesterday’s card.

Have yourself a Happy Wednesday!

Today’s Stampin’ Supply Lists …

Dare to Dream

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Well… this is actually my Tuesday, March 13th post but while editing, I hit the wrong button and it posted (AGH … technology!!)  Anyhow, let me show you what I’ve been up to!

For the past two days I’ve shared my creations from the Epic Celebrations, well I’ve got two more for you, so today and tomorrow I’ll be sharing those and you will get to see how fun and versatile this stamp set is …

I love this card for a young lady who is dreamin’ big … traveling, going off to collage, or heading out to explore life! I used the “Post Script” background stamp because I thought it looked cool with the tennis shoes.

The little circles on the background are what gave me the idea to create my focal point using … circles!! The tennis shoes were colored in using the Watercolor Pencils and Blender pen. I feel you have a lot more control using the pencils than some of our other water coloring techniques.

The little pop of designer paper comes from out Picture Perfect Party stack … and again, little circles!! The “Dare to Dream” greeting comes from one of our Exclusive Hostess stamp sets; Dare to Dream! This makes me feel like these were all suppose to be put together 🙂

Our circles were created with the Layering Circle and Stitched Shapes Framelits! And while I was at it … I decided to finish it off with a few now circles by using the beautiful little Glitter Enamel Dots!

I love this card in black -n- white with that pop of color, just sets the tone to inspire an awesome young lady to “Dare to Dream”! Switch out the color and you can send off your young man to follow his dreams too.

I’m so happy you stopped by today and checked out my card.  No reason in the world you can’t Dare to Dream as well … I’m always dreaming (and workin’ towards those dreams).

Have an inspiring day ~

Epic -n- Awesome!

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

I hope you enjoyed a wonderful weekend. Mine was filled mainly with stamping … a Stamp Club on Saturday morning and a Stampin’ Party on Saturday afternoon, and some card designing on Sunday!

One of the cards I designed yesterday is the one I’ll be sharing with you today. I was having some fun with the Epic Celebrations stamp set … it is one of the Sale-A-Bration items you can get FREE with a qualifying purchase.

I began by stamping my guitars onto the Wood Textures Designer Series paper, cut them out and then sponged a little Crumb Cake ink onto my guitars … gives them a little dimension ….

Then I stamped the Sheet Music Background stamp onto some Very Vanilla cardstock … I sponged the musical paper as well because it ages it some and really highlighted the guitars.

I created my background by starting with a 4″x5-1/4″ piece of Bermuda Bay. Then I sprinkled some of the Brusho directly onto my cardstock and then spritzed it with water … I did not over saturate, I just wanted speckles!

Begin lightly “Less is more” … you can always add,  but sometimes it’s hard to take it back off. I did the same with my greeting on a piece of Very Vanilla.

I then cut my greeting out with the “Layering Ovals Framelits” and sponged the edge with the Crumb Cake as well.  The greeting, the music notes, and the entire card front are matted with the Basic Black Cardstock. The entire cardfront is adhered to a Very Vanilla back.

Check this out …

I really liked the way this turned out, I glazed (covered) the guitars with the glue from the Fine Tip Glue Pen. Not only does the glue stiffen the paper but it highlights the grain of the “wood” grain paper. Love it!!

Sometimes you just gotta play and discover all the different things you can do with the products you have in your craft room!

Thank you for joining me today, it is appreciated!

Have a marvelous Monday ~

Simply Sunday: Epic Celebrations

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

How is your weekend going? Hope you have some time to enjoy this mild weather (in the mid-west anyway)! Our East Coast stampers have been going through some wicked storms … we can all be happy that Spring is on it’s way.

I’m behind in my posts … so I’m busy working at catching up! I have my “Epic Celebrations” card for you today! It’s a simple card that highlights not only the Epic Celebrations stamp set but Springtime Foils Designer Series Paper ….

I started with the Berry Burst cardstock on which I stamped the guitar and the dots.

Then I took the Berry Burst and Lemon Lime Twist ink pads and sponged the colors onto the Springtime Foils Designer Series Paper. It not only has the foil dots but is a glossy cardstock so sponging works beautifully!

The greeting was stamped onto Whisper White and is matted with the Copper Foil sheets found in the Annual Catalog before popping it up onto the card.

I just couldn’t resist a little more color pop so I added the Glitter Enamel dots … it adds some dimension and a whole lot of fun!!

Tomorrow I’ll be sharing another “Epic Celebrations” card  which will highlight the New Brusho!!

I thank you for stopping back today…

Hoping you have a wonderful Sunday.

Coloring on Foils

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Hope you are having a good day … it is Monday but if I think Friday is only 4 days away – everything seems brighter!! Then I step outside and it’s overcast, dreary and the wind is blowing that cold right through you, so I went back inside, put on one of my favorite CD’s and started to stamp … ahhhhh, much better!!

Yesterday I shared my Silver Foil card with you …

Pretty … Yes! But wait, we’re going to grab our Stampin’ Blend and ink pad and add some color!! What do you think …

OK … I’ll put it onto a card.  I used several different colors of my Stampin’ Blends to color the different flowers on the Petal Pair Textured Impressions Embossing Folder found on page 23 of the Occasions Catalog… and I’m pairing it with the Sale-a-bration item; Springtime Foils Specialty Designer paper (Free with a $50 purchase during our Sale-a-bration).

I took the Lemon Lime Twist ink and sponged it onto my Springtime Foils Specialty Designer paper. It takes the color so nicely and really compliments the Silver foil paper we have embossed and colored.

I’ll be honest … I don’t like blunt edges so you’ll always see me adding a strip of cardstock or a ribbon to join my two edges and give it a softer look. Here I used the beautiful Powder Pink Ribbon that coordinates with the card base and the mat to our greeting.

The greeting is again from the “A Mother’s Flair” on page 46 in the Occasions Catalog. This set is so pretty but it’s going to be hard for me to make a Mother’s Day card this year, but it would be a nice way to honor my Mom (it’s just a little raw yet).

The greeting was cut out with our Stitched Shape and Circle Framelits Dies. I mounted it over my ribbon and then finished off the card with the Glitter Enamel Dots … if you haven’t noticed, I’m really crushin’ on these!! They go with everything!!

I hope you enjoyed today’s card, it is a lot quicker to make than what it looks like it would be. So try your hand at coloring on the foils … it is so pretty!

Thank you so much for stopping by today.

Have a wonderful Monday ~

Thank You Friend … Brayer Card

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

I am back today to share another alternative project. from this months Paper Pumpkin kit. This one is so cute and just resonates SPRING! I’m going to start by sharing “HOW” I did the brayering on this card …

First, let’s begin with the Silicone Craft Sheet. Because the Die Cut Greetings already have adhesive, we want to make sure we’re not “sticking to everything” … so our Silicone mat solves that problem!!

I pulled the greeting from the die cut sheet and placed it onto my Silicone Craft Sheet (127853) Don’t forget to add the small pieces from your “a” and “o” to complete your word.

Now we are ready to prepare our sponge brayer. Roll it over the ink pad several times and then do a practice brayer on the side.  You will see that you DO NOT have to have your brayer covered with so much ink that you don’t see any white!  You’d be surprised how much ink is actually on the brayer 🙂

You are now ready to begin brayering your die cut greeting! I began using the brayer at full width to get the words fully covered with ink. I also brought it back & forth from top to bottom to get some color across the majority of the greeting.

Now you can see by the photo that I am brayering on the edge of the brayer. This gives me a more defined area to brayer … I want my center with a deep rich color so my cardstock underneath just POPS!! Then just let it dry before you begin assembly of your card!

My next step was to arrange my flowers onto my greeting … I put dimensionals on the back of the greeting so it did not stick to the card front … I’m just placing it on the front so we can stamp onto the card.

I lifted the lower flower arrangement off and “popped” it up to add dimension to the card. The greeting is also popped up as is the entire card front!! There is a lot of dimension going on here! lol

This picture shows all the different layers of this card … so pretty.  I also wanted to bring in a little something for the “empty” spaces on my card … not that every inch has to be backed full but adding the Glitter Enamel Dots just allows your eye to flow around the card and brings in the touch of pink to tie this card all together.  Besides … I love them ❤ lol

Thank you for stopping back and sharing part of your day with me!

I wish you a beautiful day. It’s a balmy 40 degree’s here in Wisconsin … and we will take that in February 🙂

Celebrate Your Awesomeness!

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

I am excited to share not one but two really cute cards!! Since I missed you yesterday I thought I should share two cards with you 🙂

I hope you had a chance to view the Paper Pumpkin video that I posted … it’s a good kit! Did you know that if you purchase Paper Pumpkin by March 10th, you’ll get the kit that includes a FREE Gift, and will be invited to a Paper Pumpkin celebration at my home!!

If that’s not all … Once you’re a subscriber, you can purchase any past kits that are available … Like this months kit!  So let’s get to the cards!

I love to share alternative projects …

I used ONLY items found in the kit for this card 🙂 The celebrate comes from the negative that is used for the original card. I sponged it (Ombre style: Darker on top to Lighter on the bottom) to give my card a bolder visual impact.  (They are all ready sticky, so no worries on how to adhere them!)

I added the flowers next (also sticky) and then I stamped my secondary greeting from the Ink Spot and Stamp Set that is included in the kit! The entire greeting was popped up. This picture will show the layering better …

What a cute card to send to a special friend … Celebrate your awesomeness! It could be used simply for a birthday or to celebrate a new job or an achievement in their life ❤

My next card was created using the “Basket Weave” embossing folder that is part of a special Sale-A-Bration bundle that you can earn for FREE with a qualifying purchase. I love this folder and it goes so well with this kit!!

I love to rich color of the Early Espresso teamed with the colors from the Paper Pumpkin kit this month. The “friend” piece is actually the negative (open) and I placed a piece of cardstock behind it.

Once I embossed the card front with the “Basket Weave” embossing folder, I wrapped it in the Linen Thread (that was included in the kit).

Then … I stamped the greeting “hello sweet” above the friend, added the cute “sticky die cut flowers” and then popped it up onto the card front and added a cute little bow. Even the little pearls come with this kit!

This angle shows the basket weave a little better! I love the simplicity of this card, yet the texture and dimension really brings it to the next level.  It’s so cute!!

Thanks for joining me today ~

I hope you keep stopping back as I have so much more to share with you!! Not just the Paper Pumpkin but the Occasions and Sale-A-Bration catalogs as well.

Have an awesome day! It’s Friday 🙂

Don’t forget that next months Paper Pumpkin kit includes a FREE Gift as Stampin’ Up! celebrates the 5 year Anniversary with Paper Pumpkin!!

Sweet as You …

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

As promised … I have a cute card for you today using the Basket Weave Embossing folder that comes in the Blooming Basket Bundle. The use for this project is so unexpected & cute and is the brain child of a fellow demonstrator, so I took it one step further and made a pie in the tin!!

What other type of pie can a girl from Wisconsin make who frequently visits beautiful Door County but Cherry Pie!! The pie was made with the Layering Oval Framelits, once cut you can emboss the oval to create the crust “weave” pattern. The scallop adds the “pinched” area of the crust …. all was sponged with Crumb Cake to give it that “baked” look.

I free handed the pie tin from Smokey Slate … I wanted to use the Silver Foil but I was out! Guess I’ll be putting in an order in soon! lol

The Door County Cherries were created using the “May Flowers” Framelits and the 1/2″ Circle Punch using the Red Glimmer Paper. Door County Cherries are magic 🙂

The greeting comes from the “Cool Treats” stamp set … I think it fits perfectly on this card, and makes a fun Birthday Card!!

Hope you enjoyed seeing another way you can use this fun embossing folder, and I thank our community of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators for sharing so freely 🙂

Thanks for checking out my blog today  …

Have a wonderful Monday!

Simply Sunday: Springtime Foil Specialty Paper

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Happy Sunday all … How did you like yesterday’s card with the Blooming Basket Bundle?  Today I’m sharing my card created with the Springtime Foil Specialty Designer Series Paper …

The designer paper includes 12 sheets; 3 each of 4 single sided designs. The foils are Gold, Silver, and the beautiful Rose Gold!!

I chose the beautiful floral pattern with the Rose Gold foil and colored it using the Stampin’ Blends; Pink Pirouette and Old Olive Combo packs. These are the same colors I used on yesterday’s card.

The Stampin’ Blends on this glossy, foiled paper creates a beautiful watercolor look.  The bold pattern makes it easy and fun to color.

I used the same greeting as the other day from the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set … that also comes in a bundle with coordinating thinlits dies. I cut the greeting out with the Lot’s of Labels framelits. I finished off my greeting by adding 2 gold circle Metallic Shapes (from the same pack as yesterday). Coordinates nicely with the little dots on the designer paper.

This view really shows the elegance of the paper and how beautifully it colors using the Stampin’ Blends. See how when the light hits it the “rose” really shows on the Rose Gold foil.

This really is an amazing designer paper and I’ll be sharing more with you.

Thank you for taking time out of your Sunday to stop by and visit. Stop back tomorrow to see the cutest “trick” I’ve seen done with the Basket Weave Embossing Folder.

Have yourself a happy day ~

Today’s Stampin’ Wish List … Did you know that if you purchased the Beautiful Bouquet Bundle you could get the Springtime Foil Designer Paper for FREE!!

Here for You …

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Yesterday I shared that Stampin’ Up! has released “MORE” Sale-A-Bration items for us to choose from for FREE!! I’m so excited to share with you my two “had to have” items in the SAB catalog …

Here are the Blooming Basket Bundle and the Springtime Foils Specialty Designer Paper.

Today I will share a pretty card that I created using the Blooming Basket Bundle.  The beautiful stamp set has a coordinating Embossing Folder (which will be available in the upcoming (2018-2019 Annual Catalog).

My color pallet began with the Pink Pirouette and Crumb Cake with a touch of Pear Pizzazz Cardstock (Old Olive Stampin’ Blends).

The Crumb Cake was embossed with the Basket Weave Dynamic Embossing Folder and a spritz of water … this softens the fibers on the cardstockt and allows it to emboss without putting to much strain (tearing) your cardstock.

I stamped my basket image with the Archival Black onto the Shimmery White cardstock… Then it’s colored with the Pink Pirouette, Crumb Cake, and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends. I also used the “Color Lifter” to go back over my colored area of the basket and created the highlights!

The greeting is included in the stamp set and was punched out with the Triple Banner Punch. I finished off my card with a trio of Hearts from the Metallic Enamel Shapes colored with the Pink Pirouette and Light Rich Razzleberry Stampin’ Blends! I love how the light reflects on these cute little enamel hearts!

This bundle is FREE from our Sale-A-Bration second release catalog with a $100 qualifying order. (That is $100 before ship & taxes).  Please let me know if you have any questions about our Sale-A-Bration or …

If you’d like to host a Stampin’ Party and really take advantage of all Sale-A-Bration has to offer, and have a great night or afternoon stampin’ with your friends.

Thanks for joining me today. Stop back tomorrow as I share my card using the Springtime Foils!

Have a beautiful day ~

Today’s Suggested Stampin’ Supply List …

Lovely Friend …

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

I’m back today with my third card share from the Lovely Inside & Out Bundle!  These little dies are fun to play with … you are going to LOVE the simplicity of this next card.

I’m using the Pool Party card & coordinating envelope from the 2018 Sale-A-Bration item: Tutti-Frutti Cards & Envelopes.  Don’t forget this is an exclusive FREE item with a qualifying purchase.

When cutting the oval “friend” out the way I did here, you will leave your card “open” … the way it is packed, line up the die on the front. Because this front & back are identical you could get even more cards out of this pack … Stop back tomorrow and I’ll show you how!!

I used the Daisy Punch to create an accent and a little dimension to the card.

I punched two daisies out of Whisper White, put a dimensional between them, then stamped a small circle out of Pool Party.  I used the Fine Tip Glue Pen (138309) and covered the circle with glue then sprinkled it with Dazzling Diamonds Glitter (133751).

Thanks so much for stopping back … don’t forget to check back tomorrow to see another version of this card that will double your card count!

Have a wonderful week ~
