Woo Hoo … Congratulations Card

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

How are YOU today? I’m excited … let’s call this terrific Tuesday, because I have the cutest Congratulations card to share with you, best of all … it can be used for any one of any age!! This card was made by one of my talented design team members and I can’t wait to share it with you, so here it is!

OK … isn’t this just the cutest?! So bright and colorful – this card will put a smile on anyone’s face.

Let’s begin … you can use this as a little treat card for someone who just graduated potty training, or how about graduating kindergarten, or middle school, or college. How about a promotion at work, or you just got the job you were dreaming of … see where I’m going with this? You can use this simply amazing card for so many different occasions.

She used the Amazing Phrases stamp set from the Sale-a-bration Catalog along with the thick Basic White and Pacific Point cardstocks. The inks used to stamp the sentiments are Mango Melody, Pacific Point, Granny Apple Green, Real Red, Gorgeous Grape and Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.

She used the Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blend on the Crinkled White Ribbon to dye it. The sentiment is die cut with the Stylish Shapes dies and then backed with some Vellum cardstock … makes that pop nicely, don’t you think? I just love this card! It’s so bright and fun.

Thank you for joining me today, I hope it’s a good one.

Here is a list of ingredients used in the creation of this card …

Simply Sunday: Congratulations

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Today I’d like to share a card with you, that you may find surprising to find on my Simply Sunday post. But just so you know, what looks like you put so much time into, it was quite simple!

Let’s begin with our “Floral Boutique Suite” …This is one of the cards from my Floral Boutique class.

You’ll find the entire product suite on page 76 and 77 of our annual catalog. Our core colors are Whisper White and Night of Navy, so make sure you pull out the cardstock and coordinating ink.

You’ll cut your cardstock 4-1/4″ x 11″ and fold in half to create a “tent” fold. You will also need to cut a 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ to slide behind the front of your card. You’ll emboss the spray of flowers folder from the “Floral Affection” tolder set.

Next you will cut the smaller piece of the die set at the bottom of your card, this is where the Navy goes – behind the design … just watch those beautiful flowers pop. Before you secure that down, be sure you add your white ribbon.

Now you’re free to stamp all your images, inside and out. The greeting “Congratulations” fits so nicely between the two swags of flowers … Love it!

I wanted to add even more texture so I punched out the butterflies using the coordinating Designer Series Paper – “Floral Boutique” and vellum.

I added a string of pearls to my butterfly for the body and to complete the card I just added one of the beautiful “Metal Rimmed Pearls” to highlight the beautiful die cut. It is so delicate, so pretty.

I hope my card inspired you to explore the beauty of this product suite, either to use yours to the fullest or to purchase one.  So many ways you can use this.

Thank you for taking time out of  your Sunday to stop by.

Have a beautiful day!

Just one more …

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Today I have just one more sample from the October Paper Pumpkin kit.  How did you like yesterday’s cute little gift card? I punched out the circle for the card I had originally planned to make, then that one just popped in my head!

So today you’ll see the card I created with the punches! I punched a 2-1/2″ circle from the leaf card and then used the leftover watercolor card front for all the other punches…. don’t want to waste anything!!

I used the dimensionals to create a lot of dimension to the card … plus the banner is popped up too. I used the 2-1/2″, 1-1/4″, 1″ and 1/2″ punches to created all the different sizes, and placed them randomly around my focal point … the banner greeting.

Then of course … I’ve got to add a little bling, bling! It really did add a nice finishing touch to the card.

Oh yes … I forgot to mention that each of these sets of cards have envelopes included.

Thanks for checking in with me today, I will be back tomorrow with my “Simply Sunday” series.

Have a great day!
