Saying Good-bye to Old Friends …

Hello Stampin’ Friends,

Today I’m just compiling a few of my favorite stamps -n- dies that are retiring in a showcase for you. I’m going to miss some of these, but I am excited to start sharing some of the new items coming out when the new catalog goes Live June 3rd!!  Grab a cup of coffee (or wine … depending on when your viewing) and join me on this journey ❤

I’d like to start with my favorite Halloween set … Spooktacular Bash.  This is a “Fun Fold” card that we made in our Stamp Club this year!  Watch as it opens into a display of “fun” …

If I’m correct … The “Monster Bash Designer paper (150447) is currently ON SALE for ONLY $4.60! It appears that the stamp set has already sold out, but if you look closely … I only used it for the greeting. Yikes! However … the Coffin Boxes are available and for only $2.80

If you love Halloween like I do … Now is the perfect time to pick up these goodies at an AMAZING Discount!!  Heck, while your laying low during the Covid outbreak … you can have this all planned out.

Next on my list is the DINOROAR … Why is it going 😦  I’m so sad, this is such a cute bundle!

Should we get serious now? lol  Let’s talk flowers … perfect since we are in “planting” season right now.  How about we start with the amazing Beautiful Promenade ….

Or how about the Love What You Do stamp set …

The Embellishment Kit which has the pretty tags and embellishments you see on the cards included in the pretty gift box and the Pearlized Doilies are both on sale now!!

One of my All-Time favorite stamp sets and a big hit on Pinterest; Flourishing Phrases ….

Love, love, love this stamp set and dies … and the greetings are awesome for all occasions!  I don’t see many “Just a Note” anymore unless it has musical notes around it. Which is fine sometimes, but sometimes, I like to send “just a note” to a friend to let them know I’m thinking about them.

I’m going to stop here, because if I start on Christmas … I’ll have you here for hours! 😉  I hope you enjoyed sitting with me and looking through a few of the retiring items (my favorites). I’ll have a list below of the items shown here today.

Thank you for joining me! Enjoy the holiday weekend.

STAMPING SUPPLY LIST ….You’ll see the beautiful Glimmer paper on some of my cards … just a “heads up” that all of the Glimmer Papers are retiring! Sparkle, Gold, Silver … yup, they are all on the discontinued list.

Watercolor Wash Resist …

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Today I’d like to share a beautiful card that I created using the Flourishing Phrases stamp set and coordinating Flourish Framelits … these can be bundled to save you 10%. Love that!! I’m also using an easy Watercolor Wash technique.

My color pallet consists of So Saffron, Peekaboo Peach and Whisper White. I heat embossed the flourish image onto our Watercolor paper using clear embossing powder. I used my ink pads and Aqua Painter to waterwash my So Saffron & Peekaboo Peach onto the watercolor paper. The embossed area resists the color and your image emerges.

Once dry, I mounted it onto the So Saffron mat and mounted that onto the Peekaboo Peach base.  I then stamped my greeting from the Flourishing Phrases stamp set onto Whisper White and used the new “Layering Circles” Framelits to cut it out and mat with Peekabook Peach.

I then cut out two of the different flower shapes and backed them with the Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer paper so the “sparkle” would show through, and it does … and it’s so pretty! I added a rhinestone to the center of each of the flowers to complete the look. The greeting and the flowers were all popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Simple yet stunning … that is how I would describe this card. Hope you enjoyed!

Thank you for dropping by today.

Have yourself a wonderful Wednesday ~

STAMPING SUPPLY LIST …

Put down those scissors—there’s an easier way!

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend! I spent the day yesterday with family celebrating by brother Richard and his wife Sheila’s 30th anniversary. It was very nice gathering and we were all honored to see them renew their vows.

Yesterday I shared the Flourishing Phrases stamp set with you and you got to see how versatile it really can be. Today I would like to share with you a video that highlights how to use the new Flourish thinlets! I absolutely LOVE this bundle!!

Put down those scissors—there’s an easier way to cut detailed flowers and images! Using the Flourish Thinlits Dies and the Big Shot, you can make multiple die-cut flowers in minutes. Watch as we show you how…

The video highlights the layers needed when using the “new” Big Shot Platform and the “Precision” base plate.  I currently use the “Precision” base plate in conjunction with my Standard Cutting plates (the ones that come with the Big Shot) fully closed (all tabs down) and one cutting pad.

As soon as I get my new Precision base plate, I will let you know how I feel they cut. I’m sure they will work great.

Now … be sure to stop back tomorrow because I’ll share my card creation with you using this fabulous bundle: The Flourishing Phrases Stamp Set and Flourish Framelits.

Till then … Have yourself a fabulous day!
