Lovely You Gift Box

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Hope you enjoyed yesterday’s cards made with the Lovely You bundle … today I’d like to share a pretty little gift box using the same bundle. You can create elegant, uplifting cards for your loved ones with the Lovely You Bundle and tuck them inside this box!

Here is our sweet little gift box …

To create the pretty tag you begin with the Stitched So Sweetly
Dies and Flirty Flamingo cardstock … then run it through the Dainty Diamonds Embossing Folder. You’ll be using the Flirty Flamingo, and Daffodil Delight markers to color your floral stamps, you’ll stamp the rest in Granny Apple Green, and Petal Pink … then die cut.

You will punch two strips from Whisper White and and use the Coastal Cabana ink with your Aqua Painter to watercolor the top strip … then stamp your greeting. You’ll tie up your tag with Linen Thread after you tuck in the cute leaves from the In Good Taste Elements using the Multipurpose Liquid glue … together they add so much texture and dimension.

Now that we’ve created the tag … it’s time to prep the box!

Our acetate card boxes are perfect for giving handmade cards as gifts. Each box holds 5 standard cards plus envelopes and you’ll get 10 boxes per package. Size: 4-7/16″ x 5-13/16″ x 5/8″

Now here’s the tip for adding our finishing touches ….

To finish off our gift box we’ve added a few “smiles” for you … the secret to this sweet addition is to heat emboss the “smile” from the Lovely You stamp set onto Vellum cardstock. Then just tuck this into the box between your gift and the label (on the inside).

Such a cute gift to give someone and bring a smile to their face.

Lovely You Bundle …

Well … we’ve made it half way through the week, and I have a cute card to share with you. Those cute cards on the front of the catalog … they are from the Lovely You Bundle and that is what was used for today’s card. The Lovely You Bundle includes the Lovely You Stamp Set and the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch.

With the Lovely Labels Pick A Punch you can create labels in six sizes. Insert any length of cardstock in the width you want, punch, and you’re done! The three widths are: 1″ (2.5 cm), 3/4″ (1.9 cm), and 1/2″ (3.8 cm).

You will add delicate florals, fronds, and flourishes to your cards and projects with Lovely You Stamp Set.

Using the Pick a Punch options, punch the ends of Daffodil Delight
3-1/4″ x 1/2″, Magenta Madness 3-1/2″ x 1″ and Whisper White 3″ x 3/4″ cardstock strips.

Stamp leaf images in Daffodil Delight ink on the Daffodil Delight
Cardstock strip. Stamp floral images in Magenta Madness ink on the
Magenta Madness Cardstock strip. Stamp the sentiment on the
Whisper White Cardstock strip using Jet Black StazOn Ink pad.

Stamp images in Pool Party ink on a piece of Pool Party Cardstock
(3-1/4″ x 4-1/2″). Layer the stamped Pool Party piece on the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

For our Miles Apart card you’ll stamp the floral images in Daffodil Delight, Magenta Madness, and Pool Party ink on a piece of Whisper White Cardstock (3-3/4″ x 5″). Stamp the sentiment in Jet Black StazOn ink on a piece of Pool Party Cardstock (3-3/4″ x 3/4″)

Punch five 1/2″ wide pieces of Magenta Madness Cardstock using the smallest punch from the bundle to create five cardstock embellishments.

Layer and adhere the Pool Party and Magenta Madness pieces on the Whisper White Cardstock. Adhere the whole piece to the Daffodil Delight card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Both of these cute cards were created by the Stampin’ Up! home office. They highlight the stamp set so beautifully and the stampin’ tip of using the punched ends as an embellishment is awesome … truly a light bulb moment!
