You are going to love today’s card … we’re back to “On the Horizon” and the beautiful designer paper we have all fallen in love with. This card was created by fellow demonstrator Cindy Elam.
I love how she brought her card to the next level with the golden frame, and you’ll love how easy it is to get this sophisticated look ….
Card Base: Soft Succulent 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored & folded at 4-1/4″
Cardstock #2: Gold Foil Sheet 4″ x 5-1/4″
Cardstock #3: Soft Succulent 1/2″ x 3″
On the Horizon Designer Paper #1: 3-1/2″ x 4-3/4″
Stamp trees and grass several times on Designer Paper #1 using Evening Evergreen ink. Use Water Painter to fill in and darken the grass. Stamp birds in black.
Die cut large frame from Copper Foil. Adhere DSP scene behind frame and attach both to card base with dimensionals.
Heat emboss white greeting on Cardstock #3. Use dark Soft Succulent Stampin’ Blend to trace bottom of greeting, forming a shadow. Punch ends with label punch and adhere with dimensionals.
Was I right … did you love this card?! When you got through the step by step directions and discover how easy it is to make this card, you will just grab your paper and start creating.
Thank you for joining me today.
Have a wonderful day ~

I am over the moon excited today!! Everyone’s favorite time of year is here … Sale-a-bration, but there’s more, the NEW January – June Mini Catalog also goes LIVE today!! There is sooo many cool bundles, suites and accessories in the catalog, I wasn’t sure where I wanted to start however, I grabbed my “favorite” designer paper in the catalog; New Horizons. It’s a WOW.
The New Horizons Designer paper is part of an entire suite which includes a bundle (stamp set & dies), the designer paper, embellishments and a ribbon pack. I will share a video that will show you all this suite has to offer … then I will be sharing a quick yet beautiful card that I made just for you today.
Was I right? Amazing … but I also want to share with you how easy this suite can be to use!! I also want to show that it’s perfect to use with other items you already have! Today’s card highlights the New Horizons Designer paper, the On the Horizon stamp set and the Beautiful Tree’s dies from the Annual Catalog! Oh yes, and I used the Black & White Gingham ribbon … Iwas thrilled that this carried over from the last mini 🙂
I began with a Basic Black cardbase, as I saw this design as a renewal … with the color in the sky and the grass turning green. I think this is the most intriguing part of this paper, you can interpret it as you want, and create from there!!
I attached the die cut tree and then my ribbon to the designer paper that I cut to 4″ x 5-1/4″. Then I stamped three little birds and my greeting onto the card front … the ribbon was a helper in aligning my stamp! Then I simply mounted it onto the base.
I feel in love with this paper, and then drawn into the bundle … If you would like to see even more ideas for this amazing suite, join me tonight at 6:30 Central Time for my Facebook Live … I will be highlighting this suite and showing some cool things you can do with it.
Thank you for dropping by and joining me, and I hope you accept my invitation to join me tonight on my Facebook page to discover more about this interesting suite!
