My April Birthday Special …

Our “Spotlight” card for today is the Just for You Banner Card …

Instructions

Run a piece of Pool Party Cardstock (3″ x 5-1/2″) through the Big Shot using the Honeycomb Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.
Gently rub the Whisper White Craft Pad over the embossed cardstock; this will highlight the hexagon background. Adhere the piece to the 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Stamp the two hearts and the flag on Whisper White Cardstock and the scalloped tag in Whisper White ink on the Primrose Petals Cardstock and cut them out using the Hearts a Flutter Framelits Dies. Use the same set of dies to cut out the Pink Pirouette tag.
Stamp “just for you” in Basic Gray ink on Whisper White Cardstock and cut out a small tag piece.
Punch small holes on both top corners of each banner piece. Thread the three pieces together using Whisper White Baker’s twine, tie knots on the ends of the twine, and adhere the banner to the card.
Adhere the hearts and the “just for you” tag to the banner using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Tie Whisper White Baker’s Twine in a bow around the heart piece from the Elements Cute Clips and attach the clip to the banner.

Sneak Peak, Weekly Deals, and Big News … Oh My!

I hope you had a very Merry Christmas. Today I am going to share another “SNEAK PEAK” from the upcoming Occasions Catalog.

I also have the latest Weekly Deals … sweet! Keep coming back, as I will share with you in the next few days, cards I have made using items off from the Weekly Deals…. even sweeter!

Plus …. BIG NEWS! Stampin’ Up! will be adding more new items to the Clearance rack on Friday, December 27th.

First … my Sneak Peak!

My card share today comes from the new “Watercolor Wonder Designer Note Cards & Envelopes”. There are 20 printed cards on Watercolor paper … 4 each of 5 designs and 20 vanilla envelopes.

I teamed the note cards with the “Million & One” stamp set. A little thanks to all of you who follow my blog.

I embellished the card by pairing up our beautiful butterfly punches… they looks so good layered together.

First is the “Elegant Butterfly” punched and sponged with Crisp Cantaloupe from the 2013-2015 In Color Collection, then “Bitty Butterfly” which was punched and sponged with So Saffron.

Once layered, I topped off the butterflies with the pearls.
