Simply Sunday: Beautiful Day!

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Oh my goodness … I’m slackin’ a bit today!! I have to work which is unusual for me on a Sunday but I wanted to let my staff have a “sleep in” day after their prom.

Today I have I have a beautiful card to share with you that is very easy to make yet quite elegant. We made this card for our May Stampin’ Club meeting …

I used one of the designer papers from the Share What You Love … Got to Have it All bundle.  It is so pretty! We then stamped our greeting and the flowers to wrap around the greeting.

The flowers coordinate with the designer paper, so I decided we should watercolor our flowers as well.  We used the Aqua Painters and a drop or two from the ink refills… then colored them in.  We used the coordinating marker to draw the lines in …

Those that know me well and have attended my classes, clubs and / or retreats know that I love “sparkly” things, and the Glitter Dots are one of my favorite.  I was sad to see these on the “RETIRED” list but happy to see they are back … just in pretty new colors!!  Wooo Hooo!!

Here is the Level 3, or should I say “Got to have it All” bundle!!  This awesome bundle is what I used to create my card.

The bundles (there are 4 of them; listed below) are available to you as a special pre-order … in this kit your FREE gifts include the “Share What You Love” Embellishment Kit, Very Vanilla Medium Envelopes and the “Statement of My Heart” stamp set!!

I can’t forget to mention the ribbon … the beautiful velvet ribbon!! I coordinates so beautifully and gives the card an added dimension, texture and warmth.

Thank You so much for stopping by my blog today.

Have a wonderful day!

We Share what we Love …

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Today I have I have a beautiful card to share with you that we made at our Annual Spring Stamping Retreat. The card was cased from fellow demonstrator and Artisan member; Kim McGillis.  I could not resist her beautiful card and the dimension on this card … it was almost like getting a bouquet of flowers!

We used the “Got to Have it All” bundle from the Share What You Love product suite.  This is still available on a pre-order for you before the end of May.  What is different from waiting until the catalog comes out June 1st?  FREEBIES … Stampin’ Up! has added extra product for you in each of the bundles … the bigger the bundle, the more free product!!

Here is the “Got to have it All” bundle!!  This awesome bundle is what was used to create today’s card…

In this kit your FREE gifts include the “Share What You Love” Embellishment Kit, Very Vanilla Medium Envelopes and the “Statement of My Heart” stamp set!!

As I stated earlier, this card was cased by fellow demonstrator Kim McGillis. Each of our cards turned out slightly different because each guest got a 6 x 6 piece of the beautiful designer paper (shown in the lower left-hand side of the picture) and they cut out the flowers they wanted to add to their card.

The big flower you see centered in the doily has a shimmer to it. This is not only a beautiful designer paper, it is a specialty paper … there are several of the sheets that have the shimmer on them.  What I love is the shimmer coordinates with the new Pearlized Doilies – they coordinate … oh heck, they just look beautiful together!!

I have surprise to share with you!! This comes from fellow demonstrator Marlieke Smetsers!! Oh my gosh, this is so clever … look at all the different patterns Marlieke created using the Pearlized Doilies!! You could use them to highlight a greeting … as snowflakes … to embellish a part of your card, the possibilities are endless.

Today I’d like to “THANK” Kim and Marlieke … my fellow demonstrators for “Sharing What They Love”. We have a large community of sharing and caring demonstrators, it is a wonderful group to be a part of! I’d love to have you join my group and the Stampin’ Up! family … because that is what we all are.

Thank You so much for stopping by my blog today.

Have a wonderful day!

TODAY’S STAMPIN’ SUPPLY LIST …

I’m Lucky …

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Today I have I have a beautiful card to share with you that is simple in it’s own right yet quite elegant. My card was inspired by fellow demonstrator Rebecca Urban … Her card was so beautiful I didn’t change much.

I decided to use the new Grapefruit Grove for my pop of color. I cased Rebecca’s the layout only changing the placement of the mat on the doily … mine is placed behind the doily, whereas Rebecca had her color on the front, directly behind the greeting. Both of us used the “Share What You Love” Designer paper … just different patterns.

I switched mine up a bit by adding the new “Polka Dot Tulle” ribbon … not available until June 1st but it’s so cute I couldn’t resist!!  And I just had to add the Metal Edged Pearl in the center of my flower, I believe the pearl brings out the pearlescent finish of the doily and designer paper.

Here is the Level 3, or should I say “Got to have it All” bundle!!  This awesome bundle is what I used to create my card.

It is all available to you as a special pre-order … in this kit your FREE gifts include the “Share What You Love” Embellishment Kit, Very Vanilla Medium Envelopes and the “Statement of My Heart” stamp set!!

Thank You so much for stopping by my blog today.

Have a wonderful day!

Color My World ….

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

I don’t know about you … but I can’t believe that we are going into mid-May already!! Have the year is almost past us … where did the time go?

With the time flying by us so quickly, I just wanted to remind you of the retiring products will soon be gone.

Stampin’ Up! is refreshing our color line, when they listed the ones leaving …. I understood! Will I miss some, YES, but I’m much more excited about the new ones coming in!!! Let’s start with the colors that will be leaving …

You knew that the 2016-18 Colors were leaving, but with the color revamp … we have a few more. Don’t be sad about those leaving, you still have time to stock up but Don’t forget your INK REFILL!!

I thought I would miss Elegant Eggplant – until they announced “which one’s were coming BACK” … yes, you heard me correctly! My favorite … Oh My Gosh, I can’t wait to tell you … BLACKBERRY BLISS!!!! I am so excited, I LOVE this color ❤  And Mossy Meadow!! Glad they’re back … here are the rest of the returning colors!!

It’s been about 5 years since we had a color update and 8 years since Stampin’ Up! has done a revamp like we’re seeing now.  I’m excited … the colors are current, fresh and really look good together!  While I’m at it … Let’s look at the new 2018-19 In Colors and NEW Core Colors!

I love that Pineapple Punch!!   Here are both sets of In Colors along with the “Basics” …  these colors have been take out of our Neutrals line which made room for 3 new colors and a warm look in our Neutrals!

Here is the entire grouping of our Color Families … now you can see how beautifully they all coordinate.  Did you notice that Real Red is now in the Rich Regals? That is because our new colors give our Brights a “bright fresh look” … I love it!

It’s so exciting to share the new colors and the revamp with you.  You have just a few short weeks to pick up those colors that will be retiring but you can also get out your wish list for the beautiful new colors being introduced. I’m happy to see Blackberry Bliss, Mossy Meadow and Poppy Parade return and I can’t wait till you can see such colors like Granny Apple Green, Gorgeous Grape and the new Pineapple Punch … that even sounds yummy!!

Thank you for joining me today!!

See you tomorrow ~

Simply Sunday …. Guest Stampers: Janet & Dawn

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Yesterday was a beautiful day … Eileen and I did not make it to Door County, she wasn’t feeling she could make it that far so we had a nice drive and had lunch in Port Washington. It was a good day and we will try again after we get an OK from the doctor.

I also shared with you yesterday one of the Attendee Swap cards created by Maria using the Waterfront stamp set. Today I’d like to share two more cards from our swap… we have some very talented guests who come to retreat.

First is a simple yet beautiful card created using the reverse masking technique! My guest stamper is Janet. She used a reverse mask to add color to the card front and then stamped the floral image and greeting.

This technique works magically to highlight the stamped image … and a touch of glitter really makes it pop.  Janet shows that a simple card can be beautiful, and we all need cards that look like we spent hours creating but we can get them done quickly.

Our second card comes from a new attendee this year … Guest Stamper: Dawn.   A little more layering on this card but the simplicity really creates a beautiful focal point… the balloon.

Dawn used the Up & Away Thinlits dies to cut out the balloon and the clouds – done with glimmer paper. Just a simple stamping of flower really draws your eye to the balloon … simple yet lovely!

I hope you enjoyed these beautiful swap cards as much as the rest of us at retreat did.  I’ll be sharing a few more, including the winning card!!

Thank you for hanging out with me today.

Have a wonderful day!

Share What You Love …. Card Share

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

I hope you are able to enjoy the beautiful weather we have been having lately … I have been busy in my stampin’ studio preparing for my upcoming Stampin’ Retreat with weekend!! I’m so excited, this is always a great get-away and FUN event!

This session will include the new Share What You Love product suite …

I’m going to share the video again with you, but then I’m going to share a sneak peek of what my Retreat attendee’s will be creating …

Isn’t that an amazing product suite … I love it! I will host a class in May, my Clubs will get to use it, and my Retreat attendee’s will also be creating with this suite!!  All of the cards will be different … Here is my first card sample ~

This is just one of the beautiful designer paper patterns. You are going to love this, it’s a bit thicker than just the regular designer papers and some have a beautiful sheen to it … it’s like they hand painted the flowers with Wink of Stella!!

The pretty little tag I stamped my greeting on is a “die cut” tag and is included in the beautiful embellishment box!  The box is pretty enough to give as a gift … you will see that in one of the photo’s below.  I’ve also included the 4 different bundles you can purchase beginning in May!

This is the Level 1 Bundle! Great if you are a new stamper.

Level 2 bundle. This is a step up for a more experienced stamper.  The block is gone (you’ll already have one) but you’ll get an additional stamp set and more … I love the box that contains the embellishments!!!

Level 3 … Got to Have it All Bundle!!!

This bundle is where you get the beautiful Designer Paper, a brand new “Got to Have” embossing folder and another stamp set! Here is another pic of my first card creation …

Watch the video again to see exactly what is in each of the bundles, and don’t forget, with each bundle … there is FREEBIE’S!!

Thank you for stopping in today, and please let me know if you have any questions with this beautiful product suite and the fun, fun bundles.

Have a wonderful day!

Share What You Love 2 ….

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Oh My Gosh … when I got home from work yesterday I checked my phone for messages.  Five missed calls – OK … One message, so I listened and to my surprise I heard; “Hello Linda, this is Sara Douglass from Stampin’ Up!”

WHAT … are you kidding me!! Sara … CEO of Stampin’ Up!!  She said “I’m calling to congratulate you on your $500,000 Milestone.  That is a huge milestone, and a lot of stamps!” So tell me … how often does the CEO of the company you represent or work for, call you and congratulate you for your accomplishments? (Usually I got a bigger workload for a job well done!) Recognition is one of the reasons I have stayed with Stampin’ Up! for 18 years … Don’t we all like to be told we did a good job!

Did I mention … they also give their demonstrators a $1000 bonus each time we reach a $100,000 milestone!!  I am amazed and grateful to be associated with this wonderful company … Stampin’ Up!  Thank you Sara for the call … and I’m sorry I missed it!!

OK … I’m back to share the last of the bundles from the  …

Here is the video again … just in case you need a refresher (I would) lol

On Monday I shared to goodies packed in the Level 1 and Level 2 bundles, now here is the Level 3, or should I say “Got to have it All” bundle!!

WOW … that really is a bundle full of goodies!! I know I had to have it all (Got mine … perk of being a demonstrator) Not so we can have bragging rights … but so we can sit down and prepare a wonderful class or samples to share on our blogs with you.

I’m a face to face kinda girl … so watch for a class listing from me 🙂  Meanwhile, here are the cute cards that were shown in the video …

Remember, in the video, Brandi told us that she created the greeting on the left card buy using the “Make a Difference” stamp set … how cool is that!

Stampin’ Up! has one more bundle for us … the NEW IN-COLORS!!!!

I’d love to hear what you think!!

Thank you for checking back in with me today.

Have a wonderful day!

Share What You Love ….

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

I hope you made it through the weekends terrible weather … seemed bad all over!! I just took a peek at the upcoming weather and they are talking about 50 this weekend. That might not seem to nice to those of you in Arizona and surrounding areas, but it beats snow and ice with 50 mile per hour winds!  One awesome thing thing that came out of that weather was ….

Isn’t this hauntingly beautiful.  It was taken in Port Washington, Wi by Jeffrey Ewig Photography.  I love lighthouses and have always wanted to get an amazing photo like this … so you know next time there are high winds, I’m off to Lake Michigan with my camera!!  There are some beautiful lighthouses along Lake Michigan and it’s one of my favorite things to do on the drive up to Door County.

OK … now that I shared something that I love (besides stamping) I’d like to share a video that shows all the amazing items in the “Share What You Love” Suite.

So grab your coffee, sit back and relax while you watch this video.  Don’t worry … it’s not that long, I just thing you should take a nice break!!

Isn’t that an amazing product suite … I love it, and I will be sharing it!! I will host a class in May, my Clubs will get to use it, and my Retreat attendee’s will also be creating with this suite!!  All of the cards will be different …

This is the Level 1 Bundle! Great if you are a new stamper.

This is the card that was created for the video; simple but elegant.

I’d also like to share the Level 2 bundle. This is a step up for a more experienced stamper.  The block is gone (you’ll already have one) but you’ll get an additional stamp set and more … I love the box that contains the embellishments!!!

Since we’ve stepped up the bundle, we have stepped up the card …

It’s so pretty and I love the colors! The colors are so warm and the velvet ribbon adds a touch of softness. Who wouldn’t want this card!

Anyhow, I’m going to let you go now, but stop back tomorrow and I’ll finish showing you more from this fabulous suite.

Thank you for hanging out with me today.

Have a wonderful day!

Sweet “Sneak” Peeks into the New Catalog …

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Today I’m going to be short on words but will share some of the beautiful cards that were shared with those of us who were lucky enough to attend the April OnStage event.

You’ll view 3 talented demonstrators boards and two projects they created that highlight the new catalog stamp sets …. enjoy!

First up… Stesha and the Peaceful Reflection Bundle.

The softness of the lines really do create a “Peaceful Reflection”…

Next I would like to share two cards from the “Animal Outing” bundle! So cute …

This is just one of the stamp sets that we got as a gift from Stampin’ Up! at OnStage. I am really lovin’ this stamp set, so you will be seeing many more from this set.

Last but not least, it’s actually one of my favorites so far … the “Painted Glass” bundle. This board was created by my fellow West Bend demonstrator Pat Ertman, she did a beautiful job!

Saved this beautiful card for last … so pretty!!

The bundle comes with the stamp set and framelits. Also in the product suite is the stunning stained glass vellum paper.  Can’t wait to get my hands on this entire suite and I’ll be sure to invite you!!

Thank you for spending your Saturday with me … it looks like many of us are house bound, this spring is just not making an appearance!!

Whooops … did I say that! Nope not me, it was the robin!!

Have a good day, stay warm, stay dry ~

More OnStage = Sneak Peeks

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

I have a few more pictures from our Stampin’ Up! OnStage event last weekend. Today I’ll give you a glimpse on what it’s like to be in the audience watching the presentations.

Each table was lovingly decorated … don’t know when and how they have time to do this!! They amaze me … and butterflies! My Mom loved butterflies and to walk into a room that is filled with them brought a tear to my eye.

Follow the butterflies across the tables (past the person who photo bombed – lol) … you begin with the purples & pinks, blues, greens, yellows and orange. Now image the entire room filled like this, it was beautiful.  Our eyes work much better than cameras!!  Here is a close up of the table … matching note books to the butterflies!

Now as we get seated and the event begins, we were blessed to have Shelli Gardner (Co-Founder of Stampin’ Up!) as our main presenter … we had many great Stampin’ Up! staff presenting in Milwaukee.  Remember, they are spread out all over the world! Sara … Shelli’s daughter was presenting in Australia!!

My Star’s and I were in the row of  “Yellow Butterflies” …  We were closer to the back which is fine with me, because with all the big screens we don’t miss a thing! The next few pictures will be shots of the new product presentations.

I can not show the catalog or the stamp sets … but we can share samples! They show us so much in the time we are there, your best bet is to bring along your camera and go nuts!  So much information … So much fun!! Hmmm … more butterflies. How did she do that???

The day isn’t all work though … we get lunch, more stamping demonstrations, we get to stamp and use the new products too … Demonstrator Life is Good!  And if that isn’t good enough, we get our cake – and eat it too … or should I say Cupcake!!

Yup … Life was good and if this is a sneak peek to what OnStage Live in Orlando this November is going to be, I think they are going to Rock our stocks off!  Want to join me??? Let’s chat.

I will continue sharing what we saw at OnStage and you’ll see more samples!!  Plus … I think my UPS man will be paying me a visit soon with my pre-order 🙂

Till then I thank you for stopping in to visit me today ~

I hope you have a great weekend!!

Big News … What’s Going … What’s Coming Back … What’s New!!

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

What an exciting time it is to be a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator! Today I’m going to share some of the fun we had at CenterStage and OnStage this weekend and some of the changes coming!! Wow … I love my job!

Let’s start with Friday night when Stampin’ Up! hosted CenterStage … a fun night out for their demonstrators who have achieved Silver Elite status and above (Leadership).

Because Stampin’ Up! is celebrating 30 years … we were invited to party like it’s 1988, so we rocked it 80’s style! I’m kind of glad you cannot see my outfit (LOL) because I didn’t even dress like that in the 80’s … except maybe for the shoulder pads!! I’m here with Lyssa … a fellow demonstrator from Watertown, WI.

I have to say … Stampin’ Up! really loves to spoil us. Look at all the goodies we came home with on Friday night!  And there was more on Saturday …

Oh yes … You are seeing the new catalog tucked under there.  We have a policy were we cannot show anything until it is released for all our fellow demonstrators to see.  Do also see color swatches?? We’ll get to that in a few minutes 🙂   Come join me and my downline at the table Saturday Morning …

Each one of us in attendance got one of those little light boxes, so I set mine up to Welcome my team when they arrived!  Love these ladies …

Here are just 3 of my team of Star’s; Brenda, Debi and Connie … a group of ladies who love what we do, and we love sharing it with you! We’d love you to join us at our next OnStage … it’s in Orlando. Girls just wanna have fun!!

There IS a little business shared at our OnStage event, and lots of showcasing of new products. Can’t wait to share with you, but we have a retiring list coming!! AND we are going into a Color ReVamp!

Stampin’ Up! is refreshing our color line, when they listed the ones leaving …. I understood! Will I miss some, YES, but I’m much more excited about the new ones coming in!!! Let’s start with the colors that will be leaving …

Thank you for joining me today!!
