Sending Christmas Wishes …

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

The camera is back and so am I ūüôā Last week I wanted to share a cute gift that I made for my Holiday Retreat attendees, and today I have them for you! I began with the¬†Christmas Traditions Punch Box ‚Ķ a wonderful gift in itself.

If you look at the picture above you will see where I got the inspiration for my attendee gifts. I created 4 Gift Tags and boxed them up in the new Bakers Box found on page 49 of the Occasions catalog.

Each gift box had 3 of the tags tucked inside and the 4th was tied to the front so that everyone got to see what was inside without having to open their boxes.¬† Only one was not showcased and that was because it had no tie, it’s closure was Velcro ‚Ķ

This cute little tag was created to look like a present!¬† It actually opens by pulling the top up which is secured with a Velcro tab. I used the Festive Farmhouse Designer Series paper. There are 6 different stamps included in punch box, I couldn’t pick a favorite …

My second of the 4 tags is a folded tag so you can easily write a message to the recipient of the gift …

Because I used the stamp “Heaven and Nature Sing” ‚Ķ I decided to use the “Stars” from the Festive Farmhouse Designer Series paper as well.¬† I try to limit my supplies when recreating my projects. I added a touch of green with the Sprig Punch. (Sorry this photo got a little fuzzy)

My next tag is a fun and simple tag to create …

I fell in love with the “Making Christmas Bright” bundle and we actually highlighted this bundle in our Friday Night stamp session as well. The colors from the Christmas Traditions Punch Box actually coordinate with the¬†Making Christmas Bright bundle.¬† Using the¬†Layering Circle Framelits Dies made it easy to highlight the greeting.

The last of the 4 tags used the “Sending Christmas Wishes” greeting …

This little beauty was created in Pool Party and Silver.  I did a waterwash of color on the tag in Pool Party, let it dry, and then heat embossed the greeting in Silver.

The silver cardstock is the Galvanized Metallic Paper and with the use of the Big Shot Embossing Mats the background was created with the Blizzard Thinlits Die.

I enjoyed making these gift tags for my attendees and you could easily replicate them, or make the ones shown below …

These cute tags use the stamps and punch included in the kit, a circle punch and the “Tufted” embossing folder. How cute and simple are these!!

Thank you so much for stopping in to visit me today, I hope you enjoyed these samples. I have listed the ingredients below. You can find more information about each item by clicking on the photo.

JUST ANNOUNCED: You can save 10% on the Punch Box Kits (there is one in the Annual Catalog too!)¬†November 25‚Äď26 during our Online Extravaganza.

I’ll have full details tomorrow on our Online Extravaganza. See you then.

Have a fabulous day today ~

Simply Sunday: Holiday Treat Bags

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

I hope you are having a wonderful weekend.¬† We are have having great “fall appropriate” weather ‚Ķ a bit crisp in the morning and evenings and warm (NOT HOT) sunny afternoons! I love it!!

Yesterday I shared with you a Step-by-Step tutorial on how to make two cute treat / gift bags from one 12 x 12 sheet of designer paper.  Today I have two more of those cute bags to share with you.  Once I started making them, I just kept going … they are really fast and easy to make, then embellish as desired.

I’ll start out with my Halloween since that is where I left off yesterday …

This cute little bag was also made with the goodies from the Toil and Trouble product suite on pages 48 and 49 in the Occasions catalog.  I also used the Stitched Shapes and Layering Oval Framelit Dies.

My little ghost that comes from the coordinating stamp set was colored with the Gorgeous Grape and then highlighted with “Wink of Stella”.¬† I used the beautiful Black Glittered Organdy ribbon to finish off my edge (I don’t like to leave a raw edge fully exposed).

On my Christmas treat / gift bag I did not finish off the raw edge per say, but I placed my greeting over part of it.¬† That is my personal preference and that’s what’s nice about creating your own cards and projects ‚Ķ we can make them the way we want!

The pretty paper I used here comes from our Annual Catalog on page 95 … Under the Mistletoe. The greeting and the cute little holly embellishment I stamped (and cut out) comes from the Peaceful Poinsettia bundle. Again, I cut out the greeting using the Stitched Shapes Framelit dies … boy I sure do use them a lot!! lol

I hope you’ve enjoyed seeing a few more of these cute bags, and I really hope you give it a try.¬† Here is the link: CLICK HERE to view the step by step instructions again.

I have listed the products below that I have used on both of my projects. You can click on any of the items to view more information about it, or to begin shopping on my online store. I appreciate your support … remember, all orders over $50 (before s/h) qualifies you for my rewards points.

Thanks much for visiting me today.

Enjoy this beautiful day ~

Movie Monday: Be Merry Kit!

Hello Stampin Friends ~

Today we’re going to have a “Movie Monday”. I don’t have this kit yet, but the more I see these posted by my fellow demonstrators the more I¬†think I may be adding this to my list!!

Make the season merry with festive rosette ornaments that you can hang on your tree or wreath or use as gift tags or on packages. This all inclusive kit makes 12 rosettes, 6 each of 2 designs. Rosettes are prescored and folded for quick assembly.

So what did you think? Wouldn’t they look cute on a gift package or adorning a banister … what if you doubled them so they can be seen on both sides and then hang them!!¬† So many possibilities!

Thank You for checking out my blog and today’s video.

Enjoy your day!

Holiday Crafting Fun …

Happy Saturday Stampin’ Friends ~

I’m really getting in the mood for the Holidays! I’m planning my projects for our December Technique Clubs and a little something special because each group is having a Christmas Party as well. That’s means a little decorating too …

One of the items I’m decking out my table with is the “Forever Evergreen” project kit. While we were at our Holiday Retreat, two lovely ladies, Kris and Tatjana put them together for me!! This was Tatjana’s first retreat … she is an exchange student from Belgium.

These two ladies have never met before but stamping & the retreat brought them together – and that is my core reason for being a Stampin’ Up Demonstrator! If you took away my stampin’ friends and the only way I could get sales was on-line … I wouldn’t stay.¬† I treasure the friendships I have built and the friendships built between my ladies because we gathered around a table to stamp!! Love all you ladies ‚̧¬† The past 16 years have been awesome and I’m looking forward to another 16 years!

I invite you to grab a cup of coffee and watch this video with me … See for yourself how kits make for easy creativity!¬†

The “Forever Evergreen” project Kit is ON SALE during our OnLine Extravaganza!

Decorate your mantelpiece or table with festive trees and seasonal decorations. This kit makes three trees in two sizes‚ÄĒone 13″ (33 cm) tall, two 11″ (27.9 cm) tall‚ÄĒeach individually trimmed with handmade ornaments.

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you have a lovely day.
