Today I have a sweet -n- simple card for you. When you are in need of a quick card but you still want a special look … just create one like this!

Use your designer papers, here you see the brilliant Bohemian designer paper – Today I kept it a bit subdued but you could go really bold with one or more of the other patterns.

You will also see the pretty Venetian Lace ribbon that is currently listed in the Weekly Deals. I used it as a separation between the two designer paper patterns. You could easily make this more masculine by adding a strip of coordinating cardstock.

And what a way to make your card special … just add one the the beautiful wood veneer greetings from our Expressions Natural Elements.

This cards For You!

Hello Stampin’ Friends,

Today I’d like to share a card that will be just one of many featured at my New Catalog Kick-Off Party! We will be showcasing 7 stamp sets! You will make 7 fabulous cards – 1 from each of the showcased stamp set, plus you’ll get to use some of the new designer papers and embellishments!

Each of the 7 stamp sets will also have a coordinating board which will have 5 additional samples made from that stamp set!  If that isn’t enough … we’ll be raffling the boards off at the end of the night! You could go home with all those cards!

Today’s card features the “Wilderness Awaits” stamp set. I knew I had to have this set … so many of my friends are dog lovers, and well … that fox is just too cute! I think it will make great masculine cards.

The elk is stamped on vanilla … I love that the designer papers take all the guess work out of coordinating my colors.The elk is stunning and I simply colored it in using my ink pads and blender pen.

I wanted a lot of color yet still maintain the masculine look so I used the Bohemian Designer Series paper, and mounted it on Island Indigo cardstock.

The greeting comes from the stamp set and was punched out with the 3/4″ oval punch (discontinued) but the back is actually from the bow builder punch!!  I just cut off the edges!

A Wonderful Man … Sneak Peek

I have returned home and created a “sneak peek” for you today! I will be introducing you to a new “Hostess” stamp set, designer paper, and one of the new In-colors! 

For those of you in my Stampin’ clubs … the catalogs are in, give me a call and we’ll set up a time for you to get yours!  All club members will receive their copy for FREE. Those of you who have purchased during the past few months with a qualifying order … you will receive yours by mail!!

Now … on to the card!

Let me begin by introducing you to the new “Hostess” stamp set … “Happy Birthday Everyone”.  The font is gender neutral and “any” age appropriate… how perfect!  It also contains: to an amazing women … to a good friend … to you … love … and to my darling. It comes in wood or clear mount.

I stamped the greeting in Island Indigo and Delightful Dijon (one of the new in-colors) to coordinate with the new Bohemian Designer Series paper.  I had a hard time picking out what pattern I wanted to use, so many great ones to choose from.

A little layering of cardstock and your card is complete. I think the rich hue of the Island Indigo works so well with the warm Delightful Dijon. We are going to have a blast with the new colors this year!
