A Christmas Bridge Card …

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

As promised … I’m back to share the “Bridge Card” that my Stamp Club members made this month!

I picked 2 of my favorite bundles to create this amazing card, the Brightly Lit Christmas, Carols of Christmas and added the Detailed Gate as my bridge!

My color pallet consists of Whisper White, Soft Sky, Basis Black, Garden Green and a pop of Real Red.

We used the little spots stamp from Brightly Lit Christmas to create snow on our Soft Sky background. The trees are from the Cardfront Builder Thinlets Dies from the Carols of Christmas Bundle (same with the deer).

Since the gate is not wide enough to reach the ends of the card … We used the lamp posts to anchor the card and hid the seam of the gate.

I’m pretty proud of this card … and I love the look of the gate as my bridge. Simple to create and it folds down to slide right into your envelope!

Thanks for stopping back today, enjoy your Friday …

Have a great weekend!

Today’s Stampin’ Supply List …

Two for Tuesday: Carols of Christmas

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Happy Tuesday to you! Today I have double the “Carols of Christmas” from the Merry Little Christmas Product Suite, one of which is the winner from our 2017 Holiday Stampin’ Retreat.

Let’s start with the card that I cased from Dawn Olchefske (a fellow demonstrator who does beautiful cards). I was drawn to Dawn’s card right away by the beautiful simplicity of the card …

The “Merry Little Christmas” Designer Series paper is the backdrop to this card. The focal point is created by cutting the trees from the “Card Front Builder” Thinlits Dies out of Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper … the deer in black to coordinate with the rest of the card.

Next, I’d like to share with you the Winner of our Attendee Swap at our Holiday Retreat this year … Guest Stamper: Cindy P.

Our retreat attendee’s vote for the swap cards they like best and the winner receives a Gift Certificate from me to do a little extra Christmas Shopping from the catalog.

Cindy used the “Carols of Christmas” bundle from our Holiday Catalog … stunning! I love the Night of Navy tree’s behind the Silver Glimmer trees, it appears as a shadow and really makes the silver pop!

If you can’t get enough of the Merry Little Christmas product suite which includes the Carols of Christmas bundle … head on over to my website to see more samples! CLICK HERE TO VIEW

Thank you for stopping by today, hope your day is double the fun!

Carols of Christmas …

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

I’m so excited to share with you one of the cards that my “Carols of Christmas” classes got to make. The excitement is this wonderful bundle is available to order NOW!!

The “Carols of Christmas” bundle is in the upcoming Holiday Catalog which will be released on September 1st, but Stampin’ Up! is offering a pre-order so you can get your stamping started now (by all means … I need too!)  The bundle contains the Carols of Christmas Stamp Set and Card Front Builder Thinlits Dies–all at a 10% discount!

Now I’d like to show you my rendition of the first card you will see in the upcoming video …

I used the “Be Merry” Designer Series paper on a Cherry Cobbler card base. The banner was used to draw your eye to the focal point … the greeting!

The greeting is stamped in Garden Green and then partially in Cherry Cobbler (which is cut down and applied over it’s counterpart) a great way to get tow-tone colors without the coloring!

We added a few stamped accents and then embellished them with a pearl and a die cut holly!

Now I invite you to sit back relax and check out the “Carols of Christmas” video by Stampin’ Up!

How did you like the great suggestions for additional projects? I think my favorite is the framed Vellum that goes over the photo.

Thank you for hanging out with me for part of your day!

Have a great day ~
