Believe in the Wonder of the Season …

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Today I have another cute card created with the Wonder of the Season Memories & More Card pack. This time I’ve teamed it up with the Cherish the Season stamp set. You would think these two were meant for each other!

I used the Gold Foil sheets as a base to the Wonder of the Season Memories & More card pack … it really shows off the pretty gold in the card. I also used the gold to die cut the pretty bells from the Cherish the Season bundle.

The die cut bells actually cut out the holly images however I chose to keep the images intact and put a little scotch behind it to hold it together.

On the smaller bell, I let the holly image cut out and then put a scrap piece of Old Olive behind it. Then it was popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The stars and the “believe” came from the sticker sheet that comes from the Wonder of the Season Memories & More card pack . To finish off the card I added three Red Rhinestones … it adds dimension and a nice tie in to the red on the card.

Thank you for stopping by today and checking out my blog. It is truly appreciated! I hope this gives you a better look at the Wonder of the Season Memories & More card pack. I’ll have one more card to share with you tomorrow.

Have a beautiful day!

So Very Merry Christmas …

Hello Stampin’ Friends,

Wow … Yesterdays blog post was full of amazing announcements! Today I’d like to share the photos and video from my Facebook LIVE demonstration on “How to emboss any color ink” and the Stamparatus “Hinge” technique!

Today’s card was embossed in Real Red and Old Olive …

I used the Stamparatus to align my words perfectly straight and even. The video will show you how to align your stamp on the stamparatus plate. The Whisper White piece of cardstock measures 5″ x 3-3/4″, the Old Olive is 5-3/8″ x 3-7/8″ and the Real Red measures 5-1/4″ x 4-1/8″ and the A2 card base = 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″.

Watch and see how I emboss the two different colors and layer my cardstock ….

So how do you like the simple instructions on “how to” apply your stamps to your Stamparatus plates? If you enjoy these tips, I invite you to join me each Tuesday on Facebook LIVE!!

I cut my ribbon about 6-1/2″ – 7″ so that I have enough ribbon to wrap around the back of the card… cut your smaller pieces long enough to tie, usually 4″ – 5″ in length. The ribbon is the “All the Trimmings” Ribbon Combo pack from the Trimming the Town product suite.

I used my Old Olive and Real Red ink pads to create a multi-colored greeting from the Warm Hugs stamp set which comes from the Heartwarming Hugs product suite. I punched it out with the 1-3/8″ Scallop Circle punch.

After the ribbon was applied, dimensionals were added to the back and then placed onto the Real Red cardstock ….

The Real Red is adhered directly onto the Whisper White base. I think this is such a fun card, and quite easy to create! The embossing brings texture and a richness to the card … and our ribbon adds that holiday sparkle.

I want to thank your for taking time out of your day to hang out with me for a while. My wish is that you learned a little more about your Stamparatus, or put it on your wish list! What would you like to see in an upcoming Technique Tuesday? Write it in the comments below 🙂 Thanks!

Have a great day ~

Guess Who’s Back in Town!

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

This past week (yes, it’s finally the weekend!) I shared 5 beautiful cards from the Ornate Garden Suite, today … I’m going to share a stunning Christmas Cards from one of my favorite “returning” bundles … the Christmas Gleaming Variety Bundle!

This stunning bundle is back and now you can get all three items, stamp set, two punches and the designer paper for one price of only $63.00. This bundle was used for the Grande Finale at my Holiday Retreat last fall … if you missed it, now is your chance to get it back on your Wish List.

I began with the Pretty Peacock cardstock for my base and brought in the Copper Foil to highlight the filigree on the specialty designer paper. The Copper Foil was embossed with the Hammered Metal 3-D Embossing Folder ….

I embossed my images in Copper (which is no longer available) however, my original was done with Early Espresso and is just as beautiful once the colors are sponged onto them. Once I sponged on the color, I punched out the ornaments and fussy cut the holly.

The greeting was stamped onto the Very Vanilla (as were our ornaments) and then cut out. My holly, Pretty Peacock Ornament and the greeting were all popped up with the Stampin’ Dimensionals.

STAMPIN’ TIP …. The Copper Foil piece that was embossed with the Hammered Metal Embossing Folder was cut out of the Copper Foil Sheet that mats our pretty designer paper … it’s a great paper saving technique.

If you’re looking for that perfect Holiday Bundle, gift one to a friend or one for yourself …

Thank you for joining me today. Enjoy the day ~

Peace On Earth Card

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Today I want to share with you the second reason why I had to have the Snowflake Showcase …

If you’re looking for something a little different and that will take that ordinary “snowflake” up a notch, then you too will “melt” over this combination. Yesterday (and the day before) I shared cards that featured the big so today I want to bring back the tree, and the die that turned my head.

WOW … this pretty card was done in the new Soft Seafoam and white – simple. Do you see the “swoosh” of snowflakes? That is one cut with this die … I love this unique shape! I cut this from Vellumn cardstock so you get a soft look.

Each snowflake was highlighted with a rhinestone gem except the large one which I used the snowflake trinket.

This simple yet pretty card could be done in any color and the snowflake swoosh is the centerpiece of the card.  This stamp set and die are only available for a few more days, and then it will be gone.

I hope you enjoyed todays card, I will be back tomorrow featuring the second stamp set in the Snowflake Showcase.

Thanks for dropping in …

Enjoy your day.

Today’s Stamping Supply List …

Guest Stamper: Margrethe Hooper

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

I hope you enjoyed your Thanksgiving weekend, got your shopping done or started and maybe a few decorations hung. I worked extra hours, enjoyed an nice Thanksgiving dinner and had some well needed downtime and for all of it, I am grateful.

Today I have a beautiful card to share with you that was created by my friend and fellow Stampin’ Up! demonstrator; Margrethe Larsen Hooper. We found each other on-line … Pinterest to be exact, and Stampin’ Up! has made us sisters!

We finally got to meet in person a few weeks ago at the 30th Anniversary Stampin’ Up! OnStage event and it was so much fun to hang out together!

Margrethe’s card was made using the Snowflake Showcase which I will be featuring all week long. This beautiful product suite is only available through then end of November, and when I saw Margrethe’s gorgeous card, I asked if she would allow me to share it on my blog …

I really can’t resist this snowflake … it is so beautiful, and Margrethe’s color combinations and designer paper really bring it to life. The Linen thread and the Subtle textured embossing folder gives the card an organic feel, while the pretty Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle added a touch of elegance.

I hope you enjoyed Margrethe’s card as much as I did… such a beautiful combination of color and textures and it truly highlights the Snowflake Showcase products.

Thank you for stopping by today.  I will continue sharing cards from this product suite.

Have a marvelous Monday!!

TODAY’S STAMPIN’ SUPPLY LIST …

Two for Tuesday: Carols of Christmas

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Happy Tuesday to you! Today I have double the “Carols of Christmas” from the Merry Little Christmas Product Suite, one of which is the winner from our 2017 Holiday Stampin’ Retreat.

Let’s start with the card that I cased from Dawn Olchefske (a fellow demonstrator who does beautiful cards). I was drawn to Dawn’s card right away by the beautiful simplicity of the card …

The “Merry Little Christmas” Designer Series paper is the backdrop to this card. The focal point is created by cutting the trees from the “Card Front Builder” Thinlits Dies out of Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper … the deer in black to coordinate with the rest of the card.

Next, I’d like to share with you the Winner of our Attendee Swap at our Holiday Retreat this year … Guest Stamper: Cindy P.

Our retreat attendee’s vote for the swap cards they like best and the winner receives a Gift Certificate from me to do a little extra Christmas Shopping from the catalog.

Cindy used the “Carols of Christmas” bundle from our Holiday Catalog … stunning! I love the Night of Navy tree’s behind the Silver Glimmer trees, it appears as a shadow and really makes the silver pop!

If you can’t get enough of the Merry Little Christmas product suite which includes the Carols of Christmas bundle … head on over to my website to see more samples! CLICK HERE TO VIEW

Thank you for stopping by today, hope your day is double the fun!

Two for Tuesday: Star of Light / Guest Stampers!

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Yesterday I shared my card from the Brightly Lit Christmas bundle, and said my greeting came from the Star of Light Stamp set … Today, I have 2 beautiful cards to share with you from our Holiday Stamping Retreat!

Both of these cards were created using the Star of Light Stamp Set and the Starlight thinlets, and were done by two of our retreat attendees!!

Our first card was created by our first guest stamper: Peggy…

I love the simplicity of this card, the Night of Navy and Whisper White, highlighted with the Silver Glimmer paper really does create the “Star of Wonder”.

In addition to the stamp set and dies, Peggy used the Gently Falling Embossing Folder to add some texture to the card … it’s just so pretty.

My second guest stamper is Kathie …

Kathie’s card was created in what we call the “Z-Fold” card. This gives your card a real wow factor but it’s Kathie’s placement of her stamping and die cuts that bring out the real beauty of the card.

Kathie also used the Night of Navy and Whisper White, highlighted with the Silver Glimmer paper.

Both of these cards are totally different and showcase the elegance and beauty of this Stamp Set: Star of Light. Don’t forget the Starlight Framelit Dies … Simply beautiful!!

I thank you for joining me today and hope these beautiful cards have inspired your holiday card making.

Have a bright, beautiful day ~

Warmth of the Season

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Hearts Come Home for Christmas bundle … one of my favorites in the Holiday Catalog.  You’ve seen the video, you saw Kris’s swap and now I have one of our Retreat cards to share with you.

My color pallet was simple; Whisper White, Cherry Cobbler and Silver…

I also used Dazzling Diamonds glimmer paper to create the snow effect. The silver glimmer paper was used behind the houses and in our snowflake.

The ink coordinates (Cherry Cobbler) with our designer paper … and the greeting comes from the stamp set that is included in our bundle.

Simple layout with stunning results!  Stop back tomorrow and see what I’ve done with this bundle… it will really shake things up!

Till then …

Have an awesome day!

Guest Stamper: KRIS H.

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Today I’d like to share another one of the cards that my Retreat Attendee’s made for their swap. I’m so glad that I did not have to vote, because these cards were awesome.

My guest stamper today is Kris H. She used the “Hearts Come Home” bundle and teamed it with the “Hearth and Home” dies! Clever … right!!

I love the look of this card and the warmth of the season that it that it illuminates.

I think I’ll have to pull out my Hearth and Home die and create a few of these myself.  Can you image using the Santa stamp from the “Hearts Come Home” stamp set and having him soaring through the sky while looking out your window!

The possibilities are endless!

Thanks for stopping by and checking out my blog today.

Have a warm and wonderful day ~

The Warmth of Mittens …

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

I hope you had a wonderful weekend. I spent mine in my Stampin’ Studio with a club on Saturday and then a whole lot of stampin’ and creative juices flowing to complete my Holiday Retreat. I’m so excited!

The last couple days I have shared creations from the Snowflake Sentiments bundle … an elegant one, a quick -n- simple one, so today I thought we should have some fun!! I’m going to warm your hearts with some cute little mittens!

I love this fun card because it also look nostalgic … the beautiful edge framelit reminds me of a doily! The little holes are part of the framelit. I layered it with Garden Green to pull that color out of the mitten pattern from the “Be Merry” Designer Series Paper.

I love how the snowflakes cut out and fit right into the shape of the edgelit die … there is also a snowflake stamp that fits in there as well. Just had to add a little sparkle to my snowflakes so I brought out the Rhinestones and topped off the card with the “Quilted Christmas” 1/4″ ribbon.

I hope you enjoyed that touch of home with this fun and nostalgic card … stop back tomorrow to see what I’ll come up with! It will be the last of my Snowflake Sentiments showcase.

I know it’s Monday … but have a great day!

Wishing You a Season of Wonderful ….

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Today I have a really cute card to share with you. If you attended my 2016 Holiday Stampin’ Retreat, you may recognize part of it! We made a set of tags using the “Hang Your Stocking” stamp set and “Christmas Stocking” Thinlit Dies (143512 – Bundle & Save 10%) … and with all the demands of the Holidays, I needed a quick card so I used one of those tags ….

img_20161216_082717

I apologize for the poor quality of the photo (my camera died) What next? Oh wait … Don’t ask!! Positive thoughts only 🙂  The color pallet of the card is Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White and the new Emerald Envy.

I used the Sparkle Embossing Folder on the white background and the Lucky Star’s on the tag … a nice contrast but not over powering. The tag is just a simple 2″ wide piece of cardstock with the Scalloped Tag Topper punched at the top.

When cutting the stockings out … I just layered the dies on one color and cut them out, then I switched colors and repeated, this way you can mix and match colors! It’s a lot of fun and a great family project. Have some fun with it, make tags, make cards …  Make Memories

Thank you for taking time out to check out my blog today.

Wishing you a Season of Wonderful ~

Rudolph & Santa’s Sleigh …

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Back today with the second of my two December Club Cards …

I used Santa’s Sleigh bundle.  I began with the Real Red base and the Candy Cane Lane Designer Series paper for my background. I then stamped Rudolf with Soft Suede onto Soft Suede cardstock …. then cut him out with the coordinating framelit…

000_3898

The sleigh was created by layering two of the die cuts … the main part of the sleigh was cut from the Gold Foil paper and then the ornate outside was cut from Real Red cardstock.

Rudolph’s reins were made with the Candy Cane Lane Bakers Twine … it connects the white from the background and the red from the sleigh so everything coordinates.

We did a partial tree using the Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer paper, another thinlit from the bundle.  We finished off the card with our Greeting from the stamp set, the Metallic Enamel Shapes and a Rhinestone colored red for Rudolph’s nose.

Thanks for spending a part of your Saturday with me!

Enjoy the day ~
