Daisy Lane Cards …

Hello Stampin’ Friends,

Today both of the cards featured today were created with the Daisy Lane bundle.  The cards are so different from each other … amazing! Each year the bundles “disappear” … even when the stamps, punches or dies remain in the catalog, your chance to save 10% has passed.

Both of the cards I’m sharing today were created for my April Stamp Club. Because of our “Safer at Home” order, my clubs are not able to meet at my Stampin’ studio as usual but that doesn’t’ stop us … I have created a special Facebook group for my club members, and they get “Card Kits’ each month along with PDF’s which include pictures, step by step instructions, dimensions and a supply list.

This beautiful card features dies, the daisy punch and the Pressed Petals Specialty Designer Series Paper. Pressed Petals Specialty Designer Series Paper is a lightweight paper with photographic images of real pressed petals on one side and vintage designs on the other. One design has distinct designs to cut out and use on card front.

I have already shared the “Dutch Fold Card” with you featuring the Garden Lane Designer Series Paper.  I am sending the PDF for both cards to anyone who purchases $50 (before shipping & taxes) during the month of May. The cards are from my April Card Club and each PDF includes photos, full instructions, dimensions and a supply list.  You’ll love the step by step instructions.

I do have a PDF created with full instructions and dimensions for this card… I am sending it to anyone who purchases $50 (before shipping & taxes) during the month of May. You’ll also get today’s Daisy Card PDF that I will send along.  The cards are from my April Card Club and each PDF includes photos, full instructions, dimensions and a supply list.  You’ll love the step by step instructions.

Garden Lane Dutch Fold Card …

Hello Stampin’ Friends,

Hope you enjoyed a nice weekend and got a chance to check out the four cards I made yesterday featuring the stunning Perennial Essence Designer Series paper and the Strong & Beautiful Stamp set.  Today I’ll feature the Garden Lane Designer paper (also on sale) the Daisy Punch, and introducing the “Dutch Fold Card”.

This card would be pretty without the Dutch Fold … the Garden Lane Designer Series Paper features verdant greenery and designs in lush shades and when teamed up with Blushing Bride will make you think spring for sure.

This pretty card folds flat for easy mailing but stands beautifully like an art easel showcasing the focal point … our punched daisy and foliage. The “Leaf” punch was on the “Discontinued List” … but has already sold out.

I sponged the Daisy before actually punching it out, that gives you more control on applying how heavy of soft you apply the ink.  I use the sponge daubers to apply ink. The stem is just a piece of scrap but tied together with the Daisy and Leaf punch, you have created a pretty flower.

I do have a PDF created with full instructions and dimensions for this card… I am sending it to anyone who purchases $50 (before shipping & taxes) during the month of May. There is also a second Daisy Card PDF that I will send along.  The cards are from my April Card Club and each PDF includes photos, full instructions, dimensions and a supply list.  You’ll love the step by step instructions.

Using Scraps to Create Beautiful Cards ….

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

And a Happy 4th of July to you and your family. I hope you are out enjoying the festivities, if that is not your thing, I’m thrilled that you stopped here to visit me! I have a fun card created with the Garden Lane Designer Series paper. I find that designer papers are one of the quickest ways to create fun, beautiful cards and we have so many beautiful papers.

Todays card was created simply with some left over designer paper and scraps … those little pieces we don’t know what to do with but never throw away …lol.  A quilt makes a good pattern, today’s is simple – a 3-1/2″ x 3-1/2″ Mint Macaroon base with 4 pieces of Garden Lane Designer paper measuring at 1-1/2″ x 1-1/2″ squares.

Adhere the small squares evenly onto the Mint Macaroon base. To add some texture to the card, I added a Clear Faceted Gem to the center with the Mossy Meadow Bakers twine from the Magnolia Lane Ribbon Combo pack behind it. Because I added the twine to the adhesive on the gem, you can either use Glue Dots or a small dimensional to adhere the gem to the card.  Don’t you love the dimension and the texture of this card ….

The base is Whisper White and cut horizontally to an 4-1/4″ by 11″ size where you will score and fold at 5-1/2″ (center). The front of the card base has a 4″ x 4″ coordinating piece of Garden Lane Designer paper that is mounted directly to the card base approximately 1/4″ from the top.  The quilt piece described above was mounted with Stampin’ Dimensionals to add some additional dimension.

The greeting comes from the Good Morning Magnolia stamp set and is stamped in the Mint Macaroon. This is the perfect layout for any occasion … just change out the designer paper and the greeting!

Thanks again for joining me on this 4th of July … I’ve enjoyed your company!

Have a wonderful day and a safe and happy holiday weekend.
