I have my Hall dates secured and now I can share some exciting upcoming events with you …

First, my “Thoughtful Branches” Class…  This will be held in my home, in my Stampin’ Studio. You will be making 3 fabulous cards and will learn “hands-on” how to best use this wonderful stamp set and coordinating framelit dies.

Next is my Hostess Appreciation Party…  This is an exclusive event that I have for my Hostesses and Club Members. If you were a Hostess or Club member 2014-15 or this past stampin’ year 2015 -16 – you will receive an invitation from me (watch your e-mail) Since I was unable to host this event last year … all of last years hostesses / club members are included!

For those of you who have purchased from me during this time and qualify as a hostess but live out of state, I will send you the Hostess gifts that my attendee’s receive at the party as a “Thank You”.

Today I have a card to share that will make you feel the wind blowing through your hair … Remember, Life is a Journey, Enjoy the Ride. Just one of the many verses in our “One Wild Ride” stamp set!

Anyone in Wisconsin or a Harley lover could easily be making this card in Orange and Black! Love this stamp set and all it stands for … Who wouldn’t love to take a trip down Route 66.

This stamp set coordinates with the “Best Badge” punch and the “Bunch of Banners” framelits so it makes your card and project creating even easier!

Furry Friends …

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

And a “Happy Friday” to you!! Just a quick post today so you can get into your weekend. I wanted to share two cards that I think are super cute, and I know many of you are dog and/or cat lovers ❤

They feature the “Bella & Friends” stamp set and the “Pretty Kitty” stamp set! These are the most adorable puppy & kitty sets I think they have had in a while.

… and yes, I bought them too! I don’t own a pet because I’m gone too much but I have many friends, like you, who do have furry little best friends.

Both of the cards did the watercoloring technique with the Aqua Painter … so soft and really makes the kitty and puppy stand out. Both of these stamp sets also have great greetings and verses included.

ThrowBack Thursday: Blooming Birthday

Today I would like to share a post from August of 2014 … It’s still as relevant as it was two years ago. This is a sweet and simple birthday card that will bring a smile to anyone who receives it.  I used the new “Flower Patch” stamp set!  This is one of our Photopolymer sets, and makes the two-step stamping super simple because of the clear images.

I have a video for you to view that highlights the “Flower Patch” stamp set …

My card base color is the new In-Color Mossy Meadow along with the Whisper White which truly highlights to ink colors we will be using on our card.

The flower was created by stamping our largest image first, in the lightest color: Crisp Cantaloupe.  I then layers the Calypso Coral next, and completed the flower with the Cajun Craze… and topped it off with a pearl.

STAMPIN’ TIP:  The leaves were added behind the flower by creating a mask.  Stamp the largest flower image on a piece of scrap paper and cut it out.  I always cut inside the line.  Then place it over the flower and stamp your leaves … it gives the appearance they are behind the flower!

It’s been a while since I’ve used a two-step stamping set and forgot how fast you can create a beautifully layered, colorful card.  I added the Daffodil Delight flowers in the background to create another pop of color.

There is no longer a bundle available as this was an earlier post.

Introducing: Peace This Christmas

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Yesterday I shared that the Holiday Catalog will soon be released and are due to ship to you around August 8th!! The also released a virtual Holiday Catalog Launch Party … we (the demonstrators) we so excited to get our sneak peek – we blew up the internet! Can you image – demonstrators all over the world trying to get onto the Stampin’ Up! website all at once!

Let me just say that the “Sneak Peek” was fabulous … I feel in love with this new product suite and can’t wait to share it with you! Get on my e-mail list because you won’t want to miss my “Catalog Launch Party” … I will host it at the very end of August or early September (I’m just waiting to confirm the date on the hall) and will send out notification for this FUN event!

Meanwhile …. I’d like to introduce to you an new suite in the annual catalog called “This Christmas” …

It is both Traditional and Elegant … the color pallet is Cherry Cobbler, Garden Green and Very Vanilla.

Christmas is a wonderful time of year and this stamp set will make it all the merrier. With its beautifully scripted sentiments and beautiful images, let this set say it all on your Christmas cards.

Beautiful Banners …

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Today I’d like to share with you a really cute project created by Michelle Long on our Artisan Design Team 2015–2016. I am sharing her blog post from the Stampin’ Up! Get Inspired blog …

I love making banners, so when the new Stampin’ Up! catalog came out, I could not wait to get my hands on the Letters for You Photopolymer Bundle (item 142348) on page 137.

Another new product that had me excited was the music note paper included with Stampin’ Up!’s This Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper (item 141628). I started with that as the base and added the gorgeous new 5/8″ Mini Striped Ribbon in Watermelon Wonder (item 141433), along with the smallest flower and leaf sprig from the Jar of Love Bundle (item 142342). The ink colors I used are Watermelon Wonder, Marina Mist, and Wild Wasabi.

The new Layering Ovals Framelits Dies (item 141706) really show off the large letters and the new Foam Adhesive Strips (item 141825) make adhering these beautiful letters a breeze. No more cutting up your Stampin’ Dimensionals!

When I was part-way done with the birthday side of my banner, I decided it would be fun to utilize the beautiful Christmas pattern on the back of the music note paper. I’m so glad I thought of it because now the banner can be used again!

The letters really sparkle in Red Glimmer Paper (item 121790) and the new Emerald Envy is the perfect shade of green for Christmas projects.

Stampin’ Up! makes it quick and easy for you to create projects with that “wow” factor. For beautiful banners, I always turn to the Banners Framelits Dies (item 132173) and Whisper White Thick Baker’s Twine (141688).
