We’ve been having some fun lately with card layouts and how helpful they are when you are ready to start creating! So today I’d like to share two more card layouts with you … Grab your scraps!!
OK … Here’s the fun part. I’m sharing they layouts and I would like to see what you come up with!! You can post them on my Linda’s Stampin’ Escape Facebook page … we’ll have a contest!!
The first layout is 9 – 1″ x 1″ squares … Have fun with it and come up with any occasion you prefer. I’ll be sharing my cards with you here!
Our second layout …
or template is a layering of designer paper all tied up pretty with a bow. However, you could put your greeting tag across the top instead of the bow … or the greeting can be stamped along the bottom. As far as the banners – make them with any width or length … Use up those scraps! Again, have fun with it and don’t forget to share.
I’ll post a notice on my Facebook page and then make sure you share cards. We’ll do a SPIN 2 WIN on all the entries. Let’s have some FUN this Friday!
Just a quick post to let you know about the Sale-A-Bration Second Release …
I’ll be honest, I’m having a hard time keeping up with my blog posts. Yesterday we moved my sister Eileen into Hospice, it’s been a long hard fight. She fought her cancer even as we lost our Mom only a year ago. I have no words except that I have been blessed to have such a loving and amazing sister. When it comes to my stamping business … she is the wind beneath my wings. We did everything together.
Eileen is on left … sisters by birth, best friends by choice ❤ We are on our patio here relaxing a bit on the Mexican Riviera Incentive trip. I’ve never noticed till now that we were “twinning” in our “Pool Party” colored shirts. I am off of work today so I can sit with her… she was always there for me.
She loved making cards, and we both agree that the catalogs just keep getting better and better. Here is one of the beautiful new stamp sets in the second release Sale-a-bration catalog …
The All Adorned Photopolymer Stamp Set … it’s perfect for creating backgrounds, focal points and more with these graceful designs. Here is another sample created with the All Adorned stamp set.
Thank you for joining me today and for letting me share a little part of what has kept me a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator for almost 19 years. We have beautiful memories of all the amazing places we’ve gone to, and all the beautiful people we have met. It’s an wonderful journey and I am so blessed and grateful to have shared this with my sister Eileen.
Have a wonderful day … and call your best friend ❤

I’ve loved working with this showcase of products and I’m sharing all of them with you today. *Today is also the last day your can purchase any items in this product suite.
Love this card because I created it with the left overs …
Don’t you just love the red card … it reminds me of a sweater! (lol … don’t ask me why?) The cute floral card was created with the Happiness Surrounds stamp set. And count me in for the watercolor background with the tree!!
Another from the Happiness Surrounds stamp set that is truly delightful and fun. The colors just pop!
Simple and Elegant in Very Vanilla and Gold … sheer Christmas.
This is my friends Margarete’s card … so beautiful and airy. I just love it and so happy she allowed me to share it with you.
This was one of my favorite cards that I designed for our 2018 Holiday Stamping Retreat … This is the card that generated the “scraps” that I used on the card at the beginning of the “parade of cards” …
Could not make a card sample without using the snowflake swoosh … it is one of the main reasons I had to have this die set (and coordinating stamp sets).
Another card created with the Happiness Surround’s stamp set (lol … spelled it wrong on my card) This one was fun, we made it in my Advanced Stamparatus Class but it was easy to make!!
I could not let this day go by without sharing all these lovely cards with all of you who have purchased this showcase of products, and to remind everyone that today is the last day, so if you love it … don’t let it go. It is gone for good after midnight tonight.
Thank you for joining me for my Snowflake Showcase Parade of Cards. Please let me know if you have any questions or if you need help placing your order.

Today I’d like to share with you some really cute cards from one of our 2017 Artisan Design Team members; Shannon Lane. Shannon took a stamp set that I didn’t look twice at and created these really cute cards that make me want this stamp set: Beetles & Bugs!
I’m not really into bugs, but Shannon takes this to a whole new level with her first project. She said “Combined with the Hardwood Background Stamp (item 133035), making this display of (faux!) mounted bugs was so easy! Stamping the beetles was a blast; each piece lined up so perfectly and it was quick and easy to do.”
Next Shannon has a birthday card with a bright collage of beetles …
And just in case you have a little girl who likes bugs too ….
Thank you so much for stopping by today; I really hope Shannon’s cards inspired you to create with the fun stamp set full of bugs! Who knew.
And Thank You Shannon Lane, our 2017 Artisan Design Team member for sharing the fun and coloroful cards. They really are Cute as a Bug!
Yesterday I shared with you the “So In Love” bundle, what did you think? Pretty right!
Well today I’m going to share a simply beautiful card that I created using the “So In Love” bundle. I began with with the largest of the dies and knew I just wanted it to highlight my designer paper.
I knew I was going to use the Falling in Love Designer Series Paper so I chose the Very Vanilla cardstock as my base and cardstock to be die cut. I used the Precision Base Plate and die brush to cut and discard of the inner pieces with ease.
Next, I layered my designer paper onto my base, and then my die cut piece onto the designer paper. I then added my “Happy Anniversary” greeting which I stamped in Crumb Cake on my banner. I added the pretty little “Falling in Love” embellishment to anchor my banner and create and eye catching effect.
How simple, and how pretty is this. You could use this card layout with so many of our pretty designer papers, and there are plenty more greetings to use in this stamp set.
Hope you enjoyed … Thanks so much for stopping by today.
Today I have a quick post but it’s packed full of stampin’ tips and samples from the So In Love bundle. We’re going to start with a video …
Carrie, from the training team at Stampin’ Up!, shares some beautiful project ideas and tips for using the So in Love Stamp Set and So Detailed Thinlits Dies from the 2017 occasions catalog.
I also want to share some additional projects that were created with this fabulous bundle …
Here you can see the foliage stamp was used to create the background, then the flower was added to compliment the foliage and add some dimension. A pretty bow and an banner with the “just for you” greeting completes this card.
Look at the jar in the background … it was wrapped with one of the delicate bands created from the dies. Below the die cut band was used again to turn this simple bag into a beautiful gift bag.
If you love pretty, delicate items … this is the bundle for you. I can image all sorts of beautiful cards and gift packages that you could make for Wedding’s, Anniversaries, Mother’s Day … or a special friend.
Today I have a simple and easy cards for you that delights the eyes with our beautiful “Falling in Love” Designer Series paper. The possibilities are endless when you teams this designer paper with the “That’s the Tag” Bundle!
On the first card I chose the “Falling in Love” Designer Series paper that had the delicate flower pattern. The color is Sahara Sand so I used Very Vanilla as my base and my tag. I stamped the tag with the oval dot pattern and the thanks from the “That’s the Tag” stamp set from the bundle of the same name.
I then added the pretty little “Falling in Love” embellishments from the Falling in Love suite. I placed them to align with the pattern on the paper and to anchor the greeting. Simple!
My next card, I again used the “Falling in Love” Designer Series paper but chose the “Bokeh” style paper. Bokeh, which is pronounced bow-kay or bow-keh, refers to the wonderful out-of-focus light and shapes. The color pallet on my card is Blushing Bride and Sahara Sand.
On our first card we used the simple oval tag for our greeting, on this card we stepped it up with the pretty flower die cut from the Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer paper. Oh so pretty!
Again, the greeting comes from the bundle and I created a simple banner and then backed it with a touch of the glimmer paper to make the greeting pop.
Simple cards to make but dramatic in texture and design. I hope you enjoyed today’s cards … I will be back with more of the items we used today. You can see a list below.
Thank you so much for taking time out of your Sunday to visit me.
I have another template for you today along with card samples …
Create a “window” on your Designer Series Paper using framelits or punches, then layer an image or greeting underneath. Try this template with several papers from the same collection and get a different look every time.
Our “For You” card uses the “Blooms & Bliss” Designer Series Paper and the “Love You More” features the “Fruit Stand” designer paper. Amazing how different the cards look even though they are using the same template (layout).
I’ll be sure to post more samples from the great templates I had shared with you.
Last week Thursday I shared the August Paper Pumpkin kit with you … today I’d like to share some fun alternative projects you can make with that kit. Being a Paper Pumpkin member is so much fun…
First, you get a stampin’ kit in the mail that has everything you need to create some great cards and/or projects, including the embellishments and the “exclusive” stamp set. Here’s this months …
Many of my stampin’ community and fellow demonstrators are subscribers just for the exclusive stamp sets, because once you’ve completed the kit … you’ll still have a fabulous stamp set in your collection (and an ink spot / a small ink pad). Speaking of the ink spots … I collect them too because they are much easier to carry when I get together with fellow stampers.
Here’s a card design with the components of this kit. With a stamp set like this and a variety of embellishments, there’s no stopping your creativity!
Add the pocket card you’ve created from the kit to a Petit Café Gift Bag with a Gold Binder Clip and you’ll have a gift ready to for a special occasion.
You can create a gorgeous background and a simply elegant design. The style lends itself well to water coloring as featured on this card.
I’d love to see what you create with your Bold Botanicals kit. The refill kit is now available so you can keep on creating… but you must be a subscriber to purchase refill kits and past kits. NOW … is the perfect time First-time subscribers can buy their first month at regular price and get their second month FREE! Use promo code BOGO at PaperPumpkin.com by October 10.
I hope you have an awesome day … and thanks for stopping by.
How are you today? Are you wondering what the “Something Old, Something New” may be? Nope, I’m not getting married, nor am I making a wedding card! My “Something Old, Something New” is meant to inspire you to drag out your older stamp sets and pair them with some of our fun new products!
Today our card features the “Flower Shop” stamp set … I know many of you have this set, and we’re going to pair it up with the “Petal Burst” embossing folder – it creates a fabulous “touchable” texture.
Our greeting “congrats” is also new to our Annual Catalog and comes from the Sunshine Wishes Thinlits. These thinlits actually are “bundled” with the “Sunshine Sayings” stamp set found on page 97.
Never be afraid to mix and match your old with your new … Stampin’ Up! makes it easy to coordinate products. And it’s fun!
Enjoy the beautiful day …. and thank you for dropping in today.
