Big Hugs & Peaceful Gardens Suite

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Today we’re turning our attention to one of the most serene and versatile collections in the Mini Catalog—the Peaceful Garden Suite.

If you love crafting with beauty, calm, and a touch of elegance, this suite is going to tug at your creative heartstrings. Between its soothing color palette, organic floral imagery, and the refreshing mix of textures, Peaceful Garden brings a breath of fresh air to your projects—whether you’re creating for the holidays or well into the new year.

My card begins with the classic A2 size in Secret Sea cardstock—one of those colors that just wraps your project in a soft, peaceful glow.

To build the foundation, I reached for one of the gorgeous floral patterns from the Peaceful Garden Designer Series Paper. With just a quick trim to 4″ x 5-1/4″, this layer fills the card front with gentle beauty and effortless charm. This suite’s paper is incredible because every pattern feels soft and nature-inspired, making it easy to pair with any sentiment or occasion.

Next came the labels from the Peace on Earth Bundle. I love when a die set gives you options, and these two label dies are perfect for creating clean, dimensional focal points:

  • The largest label was cut from the dark glimmer paper—it adds just the right amount of sparkle without overpowering the design.
  • The smaller label was die-cut from Basic White, giving me the perfect place to stamp my greeting.

And speaking of greetings…
I chose “Big Hugs for a Good Friend”—a heartfelt, anytime sentiment that shows just how wonderfully versatile this bundle really is. Yes, it shines during the holidays, but sentiments like this carry your creativity long past December. Think friendship cards, encouragement cards, thinking-of-you cards… this bundle has year-round opportunity written all over it.

To elevate the elegance, I added the stunning Misty Moonlight & Silver Edged Ribbon. It pairs beautifully with the cool tones in the Peaceful Garden Suite and gives a soft shimmer without being too bold.

For the final touch, a sprinkle of the Hues of Blue Embellishments brought everything together with a gentle sparkle that echoes the designer paper and glimmer label. These little gems are subtle but impactful—they catch the light just right!

If you’re looking for a suite that can carry you through winter, spring, and beyond, this is it. Thanks for stopping by ~

Sneak Peek: Nests of Winter Suite from the Holiday Mini Catalog

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

I’m so excited to give you a sneak peek of the Nests of Winter Suite from the upcoming Holiday Mini Catalog! This suite is an absolute gem, perfect for cozy, winter-themed projects and versatile enough to use all year long. ❄️ Whether you’re making holiday cards, thank-you notes, or winter birthday greetings, this suite has you covered.

Today, I’m sharing a replay from my LIVE session on Tuesday, where I demonstrated how to create two quick and easy cards from a single sheet of the beautiful pattern paper in this suite. 🌟 The sheet I used is perfect for making six cards, and I’m showing you two designs to get your creative juices flowing. The patterns are stunning and make creating gorgeous cards a breeze!

Card 1 & 2: Quick and Easy from One Sheet 📜✂️

For the first two cards, I used a sheet featuring a serene scene with the bird and pussy willows. The beauty of this design is that you can easily cut it into 4″ x 5 1/4″ sections, creating multiple cards with minimal effort. The colors are soft yet bold, with a mix of gray, whites, and reds that capture the essence of a peaceful winter day.

Here I used the Stylish Shapes to highlight my greeting. The second card has a banner cut from the Stylish Shapes and then I fussy cut around the greeting to create a bit of a focal point.

Card 3: Featuring the Coordinating Dies ✨

The third card is all about showcasing the fabulous coordinating dies that come with the suite. I used the Winterly Trees dies, which perfectly match some of the birds (and more) in the paper pack. These intricate dies add a lovely touch of dimension and elegance to any project. I highlighted one of the bird pairs by die-cutting it from a piece of the pattern paper and layering it over a piece of the Naturally Gilded Specialty Paper. The result is a stunning card that’s sure to impress! Oh yes … and off camera, I tucked some silver cord behind the greeting.

This suite is much more than just holiday-themed suite; it’s a versatile collection that you can use throughout the year for various occasions. From winter wonderlands to beautiful cards to show how much you appreciate your friends, the possibilities are endless! 🏞️

Add It to Your Wish List! ✨📝

I hope these projects inspire you to add the Nests of Winter Suite to your wish list. It’s a must-have for anyone who loves creating beautiful, seasonal cards and projects. And if you’re interested, I’m considering hosting a class to dive deeper into this suite and explore all its creative possibilities. Would you like to join? Let me know in the comments!

Happy crafting! ✨

Finally Friday “My Friend” …

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

I hope you have been enjoying the card parade from the Ornate Garden Suite … today is the last day from this group I will be posting.

Before I share the last of the cards, let’s go back and take a look at the other cards that I shared this week ….

Monday: Thanks … (View Post Here)

Tuesday: Triangle Fun Fold Floral …. (View Post Here)

Wednesday: Going Gold … (View Post Here)

Thursday: A Z-Fold with layers …. (View Post Here)

It’s kind of fun to see all the cards on one page, however … I’m not going to wait you wait any further! I wanted to share another of the “foil” specialty designs included in the Ornate Garden Designer Specialty Paper …

I was not sure what color I wanted to use with the Gold, so I googled “what compliments “metallic gold” … and of course they said black, also a coral, however I went with the Navy, Night of Navy in Stampin’ Up! colors. I think it adds a warm richness to the card.

I also wanted to share with you some of the other “layering” dies that coordinate with the pretty little pattern I like to use. I cut out the center of the largest die cut (the one that surrounds the design) but you would not have to. I thought it lightened up the layering a bit, and highlighted the Navy.

Here is a close up ….

Once die cut and attached to the card, I added some Night of Navy Rhinestones from the Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels collection. One of the Rhinestones also anchors my greeting, which was embossed in gold on Vellum cardstock and punched out with the new Lovely Labels Pick a Punch (two designs on one punch!).

I hope you have enjoyed my parade of cards this week, I will be back tomorrow with another new stamp set to share with you.

Have a wonderful day ~

Wonderful Friend …

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Today I have another card to share with you that has the beautiful “Falling in Love” Designer Series Paper.  This papers design also has the “Bokeh” look and I’m teaming it up with the “Dragonfly Dreams” bundle …

000_3972_0001

My card has the designer paper blocked matted with a piece of Pear Pizzazz and our medium sized dragonfly nestled right in the center! I cut the dragonfly out of the Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer paper and let the sparkles help highlight that beautiful paper.

I mounted that directly onto a piece of Blushing Bride after stamping it it with my greeting. I was thinking of a friend when I made this card, she loves dragonflies   This piece was then popped up with our Stampin’ dimensions and placed on a Pear Pizzazz base.

Not all cards have to be layered with stuff, sometimes it’s all in the message … To a Wonderful friend.

Did you know… that if you purchase the “Dragonfly Dreams” bundle and the Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer paper – You will qualify for an Exclusive Sale-a-bration item and a Virtual Rewards Point from me!
