Simply Sunday: A Masculine Birthday Card

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Need inspiration for a Masculine Birthday Card? We are all looking for masculine inspiration so I have another card for you today. This one I’ve pulled out the dies to create something stunning!

It’s a classic in every way … from the argyle pattern of designer paper to the classic car. What I love is the die cut pieces that actually aligned with the designer paper, creating a stunning pop of texture.

I began with a basic size card base of 5-1/2 x 8-1/2″ then scored and folded at 4-1/4″. The Very Vanilla mat is 4″ x 5-1/4″ and the designer paper is 3-7/8″ x 5-1/8″ …. I just wanted to tie in the greeting colors, plus it really made the designer series paper pop.

This card was fun and easy to make! With a simple layout and the patterned paper, adding the die cut argyle pieces just added some great texture to the card. I also popped up the birthday greeting to give this card even more dimension.

I think you will find the “He’s the Man” Suite very versatile … I’ll be sharing even more cards with this one for sure! Thank you for stopping by today.

With the NEW Catalog due out in May, I always get nervous about one of my favorites retiring … so, if you are liking this bundle, or the entire suite, you might want to grab it up before it is gone. I don’t know if it’s retiring but I know when that list comes … thing SELL OUT fast.

Have a great day!! I have the supply list of items listed below for your convenience.

In Search of a Masculine Anniversary Card?

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Are you In Search of a Masculine Anniversary Card? I have the answer for you … the He’s All That Bundle. I know that my stampin’ friends who camp and travel are going to love this next card. I’ve shared cards for Father Day … Birthdays … why not Anniversaries!!

I’m using a fun pattern from the designer paper that highlights campers and trees in the colors of Soft Succulent and Early Espresso. I borrowed the “Happy Anniversary” from the Celebrating You stamp set. I heat embossed the greeting with Basic White embossing powder.

My Early Espresso card base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2″ then scored and folded at 4-1/4″. Then I used a “split panel” … the top one measuring 5-1/4″ x 2-1/2″ and the bottom measures 5-1/4″ x 1″. Both panels are popped up using the Foam Adhesive Strips … this allows our designer paper to be highlighted and gives are card a fun dimension!

The badge was stamped in Early Espresso on Soft Succulent and die cut using one of the dies included in the He’s All That Bundle include in the He’s the Man Suite! It was attached to the two panels to create a bridge and it looks cool! lol

I hope you are enjoying all the different styles I’ve shown using this suite … and hopefully I covered most of the color pallets included in the suite. I also wanted to share several different layouts with you … all of which you can easily recreate!

With the Annual Catalog retiring at the end of April, I wanted to showcase some of my favorite “Masculine” bundles …. a change up from all the flowers!!

Twelve Days of Christmas: Masculine Twisted Ribbon

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

I little change of plans today. Instead of the final holiday project, I’ve decided to share a “Masculine” Twisted Ribbon technique. Readership has been going down with the 12 days so I thought you might find this more appealing.

This is one of the cards that we made at our December Stamp Club …

I used the He’s All That bundle and the He’s the Man Specialty Designer Series paper. This patterned paper is packed with bold patterns in neutral colors. Choose from antique cars, camping gear, suits and ties, and more. You’ll also find versatile patterns such as diamonds, stripes, and plaids. Mix and match the patterns with the coordinating die-cut images.

This papercrafting staple is great scrapbook paper, card making paper, and more! Ask your demonstrator about coordinating products.

I hope you enjoyed a different version of this fun technique. If you missed the video, you can see it HERE.

Here are the links to the products that I used in today’s card ….

New Weekly Deals & Masculine Card

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Today I have a card from the He’s the Man suite!! This one is super easy, super quick and super cute! I’m using the die cuts that are included in the He’s the Man designer paper. These make creating your cards or scrapbook pages quick & easy. I just had to use the Layering Designs Vellum with the road map on it… it goes perfect with my card today.

I’m using Cajun Craze for the card base of 5-1/2 x 8-1/2″ then scored and folded at 4-1/4″. The Basic White mat is 4″ x 5-1/4″ and the He’s the Man designer paper is cut the same at 4″ x 5-1/4″ …. I wanted a bright visual to highlight the map.

I thought this was the perfect card to share with you because the Layering Designs Vellum is on sale in our Weekly Deals!!

Thank you so much for checking in with me today …

Have a wonderful Thursday!!

Lighthouse Mash-Up ….

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

It’s a Tuesday Two Bundle Mash Up … time for some fun today. Let’s take two new bundles and mash them together to create an amazing card. Let’s use the He’s the Man bundle from the He’s All That suite and introduce it to the Lighthouse Point bundle. You knew that was going to be a “must” on my wish list!!

I’m using the compass stamp from the He’s the Man bundle to create my background … I’m using the NEW Starry Sky In-Color cardtock and ink.

The Starry Sky card base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2″ then scored and folded at 4-1/4″. The card front that I stamped on measures 5-1/4″ x 4″. I popped up the front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The Lighthouse was die cut from the bundle … it has all the dies to make a super easy assembly. Who knew building a lighthouse could be this easy! If you want to learn more about the Lighthouse Point bundle, join me tonight on my Facebook LIVE. I’ll be sharing more about this great bundle.

The sentiment comes from the Lighthouse Point bundle and I used the dies to cut and mat it. The colors used with the Starry Sky was Real Red and Basic White … very nautical! I added a touch of Crushed Curry as a compliment to the blue. Really pops too … doesn’t it!?

Thank you for joining me today … I hope you join me tonight at 6:30 Central Time to see more with the Lighthouse Point bundle. CLICK HERE to get to my Facebook page.

Have a wonderful day!

Simply Sunday: With You I’m Never Lost

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Today I have yet another card from the He’s the Man suite!! This one is super easy, super quick and super cute! Perfect for your Super Man!

The “Never Lost” die cut actually had a tent on it which I covered up with my car. Then I used dimensionals to pop up both the sentiment and the car. I used Mini Glue dots to attach my stars. For the stars I picked the three different colors to tie in all the colors of the main images… Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze and Soft Succulent.

I just fell in love with this card the minute those dies cut pieces landed on that map! This card would not only work for a birthday or Father’s Day but also a great “Thank You” card for that special someone who “goes out of their way” to help!

Thank you so much for going on this mini journey with me today …

Have a wonderful Sunday!!
