Discover the Magic of the Thoughtful Journey Memories & More Card Pack

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

If you’re looking for an easy yet stunning way to elevate your card-making game, the Thoughtful Journey Memories & More card pack from our Annual Stampin’ Up! Catalog is your perfect companion. This collection is part of the Quick & Easy Options, designed to make your crafting sessions delightful and stress-free. Today, we’ll dive into two fabulous card projects that showcase the versatility and beauty of this card pack.

The Memories & More card packs are not just for scrapbooking, you can utilize them in so many ways … Today, cards!

For our first card, simplicity meets elegance. We’re using the Basic White Note Cards and Envelopes as the base, making this an ideal project for beginners and seasoned crafters alike. The greeting is stamped with Misty Moonlight and comes from the So Sincere stamp set … always good to have a great sentiment set! It was then die cut with the circular dies from the Spotlight On Nature bundle. Just a touch of Pretty in Pink ribbon to pull the pink hues from the card.

This card is perfect for my granddaughter in college. She finished her 2nd year, and I love to celebrate the small achievements as a stepping stone to her graduation!

Our second card takes a slightly different approach, showcasing the stunning patterns of the Thoughtful Journey Designs Specialty Paper. By cutting down a 4″ x 6″ card, we expose the beautiful specialty paper, creating a layered, intricate look.

The watercolor look on the card and greeting already done for us worked in perfect harmony with the two-tone colors on the Thoughtful Journey Designs Specialty Paper. I matted the card with Basic White to pull the greeting out and to coordinate with my card base. I used the Adhesive Backed Transparent Dots to pull the entire card together as it brings out the foil on the specialty paper.

This not only showcases the coordination within the Thoughtful Journey Suite but also adds depth and dimension to your card. The result is a stunning, intricate design that’s still incredibly easy to create.

With these two projects, you can see how the Thoughtful Journey Memories & More card pack offers endless possibilities. Whether you prefer quick and easy cards or more elaborate designs, this collection has you covered.

Each card you make is a small piece of art, a reflection of your thoughtfulness, and a joy to both give and receive. It’s time to let your creativity soar and make every card a thoughtful journey of its own.

Simply Sunday: Hand-Penned

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Sorry I missed you yesterday but I was head over heals in my Catalog Launch Party. It’s winding down but there will still be some activities today, including a LIVE Demonstration on the Tidings of Christmas Suite (pages 88 & 89) Here is the link: Just request to become a member: CLICK HERE TO JOIN IN

Today I would like to share just one of the cards that I created using the Hand-Penned family of products; the Hand-Penned Memories & More Card Kit and the Hand-Penned Cards & Envelopes … this pair is perfect for making your cards quick & easy! Let’s begin with the Cards & Envelopes …

The Hand-Penned Memories & More Card Kit Isn’t just for scrapbooking, use the cards to create quick & easy cards that are simply beautiful!

You will find beautiful “cards” that can be slipped into the pockets of your Memory Book along with 4 sheets of die cut stickers that embellish your scrapbook or cards so sweetly … I love the soft pastel colors, and the coordinate with the Hand-Penned suite so the possibilities for creating are endless.

I chose one of the larger cards that works great with the cards & envelopes, and then I simply trimmed away the outside to highlight the shape, greeting and flower! All that was already there!! I just trimmed and popped it onto the card front …

The card front is the pre-pattern polka-dots card and is already scored for you… and check out the coordinating envelope! The only other thing I did on this card was give my flowers a touch of the Wink of Stella …

When using these two products combined, you have so many options for creating pretty yet simple cards.

I hope you enjoyed my card share with you today, and that you were inspired to try this sometime.

Thank you for sharing a part of your Sunday with me.

Have a wonderful day ~

Simply Sunday … Using Card Kits for Quick-n-Easy Cardmaking

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Are you always struggling to come up with card designs? Let me help you by introducing “kits” that work well together.  Today I am taking the base from one of the cards included in the July 2019 Paper Pumpkin kit and pairing it up with some of the amazing contents in the Come Sail Away Memories & More Card Kit.  Creating with any of our card kits makes designing cards so easy.

Most of you know that I am a Lighthouse fanatic!!  They are so majestic and full of history … the are the guardians of the seas. OK … a little more about the card now!!  The base is from the July 2019 Paper Pumpkin, then I pulled the rest of the images from the Come Sail Away Memories & More Card Pack.

The card pack includes 50 total double-sided cards (2 each of 25 designs), 4 sticker sheets, all Acid free, lignin free and work perfect for scrapbooking or cardmaking.  The background and base are both cards from the pack and then I started adding the stickers. Let me mention that the stickers are not flimsy stickers but sturdy die cuts with adhesive… the stand up well to your cards and scrapbooks.

The rope border, both greetings / verbiage and anchor are all stickers from the card pack.  The adhesive allows you to move it around a bit while you are creating, as long as you are not pushing it down too hard. We all need quick -n- easy cards, and these kits solve the problem!!

Did I forget to mention that the Paper Pumpkin kit has coordinating envelopes as well?  Once you are a Paper Pumpkin subscriber … you can purchase any past kits that are available. Plus … Pinterest is FULL of alternate designs!!
