Simply Sunday: You’re So Cool

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Happy Superbowl Sunday to you! My team went out in the last game, so I’m out too … I’ll be in my stamping room, staying warm! It’s a whoppin’ -10 degrees this morning with a windchill of -29!! Burrrrr … So I thought today was the perfect day to pull out the Popsicles because there is NO chance of them melting!! lol

The Popsicle stamps are a two-step stamps which makes it fun and easy to create the most delicious flavors you can image …

My favorites are Lemon/Lime: Daffodil Delight and Granny Apple Green, then Gorgeous Grape which is stamped off on the top and full ink on the bottom, and then my Strawberry Lemonade; Flirty Flamingo and Daffodil Delight …. YUMMY! I know a few in my house who love Blue Raspberry so I’ll have to keep making Popsicles!

I used the sentiments from the Sweet Ice Cream stamp set and stamped them in Gorgeous Grape, which was also used to mat my card front ….

Wanted to jazz up my flavorful popsicles a little more with the glint of sparkle by adding the Opal Rounds to my card. I used my Stampin’ Blends to color the Opal Rounds … it’s so cool to know that you can have these cute embellishments in “any” color you want.

The popsicles were so fun and easy to create and will make quite an impression on anyone who receives this card.

Thank you for sharing part of your Sunday with me. Stay warm and have a great day ~

Birthday Shaker Card …

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

There is nothing better than sprinkles on ice cream or inside your “Shaker Card” … and that is what I have for you today! The Shaker card was a hit at my house, my grandkids like to pick out the cards I should send them … lol!! I like to surprise them ❤

I used the Ice Cream Corner Designer paper as my background and to punch out my Ice Cream Cone …

The background is from the Ice Cream Corner Designer Paper … I picked the sprinkle design. I cut my window out of the Bermuda Bay using the Rectangle Layered Dies, and then attached the window sheet to the back. Once the window sheet is attached I used the Adhesive Strips to create the height needed for the “shaker”.

You have the greeting stamped … I used the “Happy Birthday” from the bundle and then sprinkled my “Ice Cream Corner Sprinkles” onto the greeting and laid the window sheet assembly on top. With a little adhesive, I attached the “shaker” to the card.

I punched out the Ice Cream and the Cone from the Designer paper!! It was designed to make creating your cones easier!! I attached it directly to the “shaker”…

Easy to see why this fun shaker card was a hit!! And another sample for you made with the Sweet Ice Cream bundle!

Thanks much for hanging out with me today, I hope you have a good one!

More Ice Cream Please …

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Are you ready for some Friday Fun?? Yesterday I introduced you to the Ice Cream Corner Suite, today I’d like to show you even more fun with this suite. And make sure you come back on Saturday as I’ll top off this Ice Cream party with a cherry on top … or should I say “sprinkles”!

Let’s begin with the card I shared during my Launch Party ….

Simple and cute, and it’s the perfect way to make many cards quickly! I love to work in quarters … or in the case of a 12 x 12 sheet of designer paper – 6ths! You can cut it in half and then cut the 1/2 into 4″ pieces. You will now end up with 6 – 4″ x 6″ pieces of designer paper.

I trimmed this one down to 3-3/4″ x 5″ piece of designer paper … then I matted it with a piece of Blackberry Bliss cardstock measuring at 4″ x 5-1/4″. This is the most common layout for cards. My greeting is from the Sweet Ice Cream stamp set and stamped in Blackberry Bliss. It was die cut from the Rectangle Layering Dies.

I have another quick -n- easy layout for you that requires no cutting (after your original cut of 4″ x 6″) …

This yummy little card was super easy to create … simply score your designer paper at 3/4″ and fold over onto the preferred design, on this card it is the popsicles! The Blackberry Bliss ribbon covers the bare edge of the folded piece and adds a fun touch of texture.

My greeting comes from two stamp sets; the Sweet Ice Cream stamp set and Well Said from the Annual Catalog and is stamped in Blackberry Bliss (also sounds yummy!). The Tailored Tag punch was used to highlight the greeting … and the Opal Rounds were colored with the Stampin’ Blends and placed on the card to create some sparkly fun!!

There is so much you can create with this suite and we haven’t even touched the top of the cone yet!! I still have so much more to share, and to show you what you can do with the stamp set!

Thank you for joining me today and checking out my blog, it you like what you see … give me a LIKE at the bottom of the page. You can purchase this suite, bundle or other products by clicking on any of the images below. And stay tuned for more “Ice Cream” shares!

Have a sweet day ~
