Fun Background with Gone Fishing Bundle

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Today I have and cards for you showcasing a FUN Background using the Gone Fishing Bundle and the Lets Go Fishing Designer Series paper. You’ll see though watching the video how easy it is to create this fun background, along with some tips and I share my “discovery” of what other bundle works GREAT with the NEW Gone Fishing Bundle.

Let’s watch, then I’ll share the cards again with you …

So easy to make this fun background with scrap paper … and just think of all the different occasions you can create for!! The dimensions are in the video and I leave them up for a while so you can easily write them down as well.

This is the one that I create during the video … don’t forget, there is a coordinating die for that fish!! lol I have just fallen in love with this suite. Watch for more!!

Background is the same on this next card … a little different as far as paper strips but I used the dies from the “All That” dies to create an award ribbon to show Dad that he’s the best.

So … who is going to try this out? Or have you already. I do have another card with this pattern but with different designer paper .. WOW! It’s a whole different look. I will share that with you tomorrow.

Thank you for stopping in and sittin’ a spell. Enjoy your Wednesday!!

Creating Cute Cards from Scraps!

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

How are you all today? I am feeling grateful and quite happy! I am taking part in a seminar about Women in Business and the energy is amazing. I reflect on how amazing this journey has been so far, and what a wonderful community of stamping friends we have created!! Even through a pandemic, we can still gather in one form or another to stamp … it enlightens us, stimulates our brain and just plain makes us happy!!

Last night I gathered with some of you who joined me for my LIVE Facebook demonstration. I shared some tips using the technique of “creating with scraps”. Grab a cup of coffee, tea, or hot chocolate and join me for a replay of last nights demonstration ….

Oh my gosh … there are so many possibilities when using your designer series paper scraps! I love using the True Love Designer Paper because to can pair it with “ANY” color but I thought it would be fun to use Magenta Madness … a fun “Hot Pink” that looks like a party with the Basic Black!

Using the Adhesive Sheets makes layering your scraps quick and easy! Pulling it back only half way is a great way to control the application of scraps without getting your fingers full of the sticky adhesive on the sheets!

Adding the Magenta Madness Ribbon along with the Daisy and Triple Banner punches adds some fun texture to the card. The layers actually bring your card to life.

I almost forgot to highlight the amazing sentiments!! These come from the “Heartfelt” stamp set and can be used for much more than Valentines Day … and that is why I choose the Daisy punch over the Heart. The love of a friend is one of life’s most precious gifts ❤ We must make sure they know it … so we send them cards!

Thank you so much for joining me today and hanging out to watch the video. If you’re watching it again, I hope you picked up another tip.

Have yourself a beautiful day ~
