Wooo Hooo … Everything is Rosy!!

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Today I have one of the cards I created using the Everything is Rosy Product Medley.  Wow … this kit is full of goodies and tons of designer paper to create a lot of cards.  We did 5 in class, one of which was a quick and easy gift card! We used different layouts/folds and a learned a couple new techniques … all parts of the kits were covered in the class.

Today’s card features a beautiful designer paper of Night of Navy with Rose Gold leaf pattern and we used the Rose Gold Foil paper with it.  The ladies learned a really cool way to cut the foil paper and die cut it into pieces to create 3 cards!! Here is our first card with this technique …

You can see the designer paper sits upon the foil paper and then adhered to the Night of Navy cardstock base. The greeting is stamped on Whisper White but rests upon another Rose Gold foil die cut.

The card is finished off with the beautiful Night of Navy ribbon with Rose Gold foil edging.  It’s so pretty.  Oh wait … I’m not done, we used one of the edgelit dies that come in the product medley and used it to create a beautiful element inside our card, and then it was topped off with a piece of the Designer paper.

Last night I posted a video from the Stampin’ Up! home office that features 6 more samples from the Everything is Rosy Product Medley … Check it out HERE!

I’ll share another card from my class with you tomorrow … If you are interested in having this kit for yourself, contact me or click on the link below.  If you purchase the kit from me, I will send you a PDF of my class cards which includes step by step instructions on how to make the gift card card!!  My class focused on utilizing the products in the kit, the video shows you more outside the box!!  I’m so excited about this product medley!!

Let me know if you have any questions about todays card, the product medley or anything else related to the contents of my blog.  Thank you so much for sharing a part of your day with me.

Enjoy your holiday weekend.

Snowflake Showcase Parade of Cards

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

At times during the month I have shared with you several beautiful cards from our Snowflake Showcase made with the stamp sets and dies.  I’ve loved working with this showcase of products and I’m sharing all of them with you today.   *Today is also the last day your can purchase any items in this product suite.

Love this card because I created it with the left overs …

Don’t you just love the red card … it reminds me of a sweater! (lol … don’t ask me why?) The cute floral card was created with the Happiness Surrounds stamp set. And count me in for the watercolor background with the tree!!

Another from the Happiness Surrounds stamp set that is truly delightful and fun. The colors just pop!

Simple and Elegant in Very Vanilla and Gold … sheer Christmas.

This is my friends Margarete’s card … so beautiful and airy. I just love it and so happy she allowed me to share it with you.

This was one of my favorite cards that I designed for our  2018 Holiday Stamping Retreat … This is the card that generated the “scraps” that I used on the card at the beginning of the “parade of cards” …

Could not make a card sample without using the snowflake swoosh … it is one of the main reasons I had to have this die set (and coordinating stamp sets).

Another card created with the Happiness Surround’s stamp set (lol … spelled it wrong on my card) This one was fun, we made it in my Advanced Stamparatus Class but it was easy to make!!

I could not let this day go by without sharing all these lovely cards with all of you who have purchased this showcase of products, and to remind everyone that today is the last day, so if you love it … don’t let it go.  It is gone for good after midnight tonight.

Thank you for joining me for my Snowflake Showcase Parade of Cards.  Please let me know if you have any questions or if you need help placing your order.

Have a wonderful day … let’s kick off the weekend right!

Here are the products available in the Snowflake Showcase ….

Peace On Earth Card

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Today I want to share with you the second reason why I had to have the Snowflake Showcase …

If you’re looking for something a little different and that will take that ordinary “snowflake” up a notch, then you too will “melt” over this combination. Yesterday (and the day before) I shared cards that featured the big so today I want to bring back the tree, and the die that turned my head.

WOW … this pretty card was done in the new Soft Seafoam and white – simple. Do you see the “swoosh” of snowflakes? That is one cut with this die … I love this unique shape! I cut this from Vellumn cardstock so you get a soft look.

Each snowflake was highlighted with a rhinestone gem except the large one which I used the snowflake trinket.

This simple yet pretty card could be done in any color and the snowflake swoosh is the centerpiece of the card.  This stamp set and die are only available for a few more days, and then it will be gone.

I hope you enjoyed todays card, I will be back tomorrow featuring the second stamp set in the Snowflake Showcase.

Thanks for dropping in …

Enjoy your day.

Today’s Stamping Supply List …

Guest Stamper: Margrethe Hooper

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

I hope you enjoyed your Thanksgiving weekend, got your shopping done or started and maybe a few decorations hung. I worked extra hours, enjoyed an nice Thanksgiving dinner and had some well needed downtime and for all of it, I am grateful.

Today I have a beautiful card to share with you that was created by my friend and fellow Stampin’ Up! demonstrator; Margrethe Larsen Hooper. We found each other on-line … Pinterest to be exact, and Stampin’ Up! has made us sisters!

We finally got to meet in person a few weeks ago at the 30th Anniversary Stampin’ Up! OnStage event and it was so much fun to hang out together!

Margrethe’s card was made using the Snowflake Showcase which I will be featuring all week long. This beautiful product suite is only available through then end of November, and when I saw Margrethe’s gorgeous card, I asked if she would allow me to share it on my blog …

I really can’t resist this snowflake … it is so beautiful, and Margrethe’s color combinations and designer paper really bring it to life. The Linen thread and the Subtle textured embossing folder gives the card an organic feel, while the pretty Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle added a touch of elegance.

I hope you enjoyed Margrethe’s card as much as I did… such a beautiful combination of color and textures and it truly highlights the Snowflake Showcase products.

Thank you for stopping by today.  I will continue sharing cards from this product suite.

Have a marvelous Monday!!

Color Your Season Wishes …

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Today I have a beautiful autumn card filled with color and a touch of Gold … oh so pretty.  This is just one of the cards that we created in my Color Your Season Class. I am head over heels with this bundle because there is so much possibility and so many occasions you can create.

This amazing bundle will cover every season and is perfect for Birthday’s, Christmas, Thank You, and even Weddings!

My card today brings on the warmth of the Autumn season and is the perfect card to share with “your” person, the friend that is always there for you …

The leaves were stamped with the VersaMark pad and heat embossed with Gold Embossing powder.  The amazing color in the leaves comes from the new Watercolor Pencils and a Blender Pen… simple yet stunning!  You could also use your Aqua Painter with the Watercolor Pencils and create a “softer” look.

The Watercolor Pencils and the Color Your Season bundle are only available through August 31st, 2018 or while supplies last! Tomorrow I will be sharing a “Reflection of the Seasons” which will highlight all of the cards that I’ve shared so far and another NEW Creation for you!

Today’s card was done on Very Vanilla, embossed with Gold and backed with Gold Foil Paper.  The beautiful greeting comes with this amazing stamp set and was also heat embossed in Gold …

As the leaves gently fall you will notice that we began with our greens and slowly adding Crushed Curry … then Cajun Craze and finally the Cherry Cobbler – just like the color changes in the fall. I wanted to add a gold leaf just to highlight the gold and pull everything together (plus it’s really pretty).

It really didn’t take long to color and blend on the card and it was very relaxing … brings you back to the days when you were a kid and your Mom gave you a coloring book to keep you busy on a rainy day. We don’t seem to take advantage of that type of downtime … now you can relax and create beautiful cards that will bring joy to a friend. Life doesn’t get better than that.

I thank you for stopping by today and spending some time with me. Stop back tomorrow for a “Reflection of the Seasons” which will highlight all of the “Color Your Seasons” cards that I’ve shared so far and another NEW Creation for you!

Have a beautiful day and share a smile with a friend.

TODAY’S STAMPIN’ SUPPLY LIST … Click on any image to view details or to begin your shopping at my Stampin’ Store. Thank you for choosing me as your demonstrator when you purchase from me.

Technique Tuesday: Colored Foils

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

I’m excited to share my card with you today because not only am I using the awesome new Blended Seasons stamp set and coordinating stitched dies but I have a really cool technique too!!  Not only that … I’ve taken an old favorite and incorporated it into the card as well.

The card was created for my “Color Your Season” Class that I hosted last week … we made a Spring, Wedding, Autumn and a Christmas card, it is the Christmas card that I will be sharing with you.

This was the card that changed 3 times before I got to what you will see today … it was all about the background, but once I picked up the Wood Textures Designer paper … I knew that was it!!  You see, I have already pulled out the circle die from the Swirly Scribbles Thinlits Dies to create my wreath.

The holly was stamped on Very Vanilla and colored with the Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends and then cut into sections and wrapped around the wreath.  Our bow was created using the Silver Foil paper and the die from the bundle … then, I used the Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blend and colored it!! I wanted red and I wanted the shine!! It works beautifully.  You can do it before or after you die cut.

Can you image ALL the new Foil colors you can now use on your projects!! Amazing and soooo easy.  And because the Stampin’ Blends are alcohol markers it dries quickly.

The greeting is from the Blended Seasons stamp set and was stamped in Cherry Cobbler and punched with the Triple Banner punch.  I also sponged the banner with Sahara Sand to age it a little.  The combination of all these single entities created a warm holiday card.

The red foil bow just adds a special touch to the card and really helps make it pop.  I also added just a touch of the Wink of Stella onto the holly berries.  You could also use the glue from the Fine Tip Glue pen … that will also give it a shine.

Thank you for stopping back to check out my blog post today.  You can purchase any of the items used for today’s card by clicking on any of the items listed below.

Have a wonderful day ~

TODAY’S STAMPIN’ SUPPLY LIST …

There are No Mistakes in Stamping …

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Today I’m going to share a cute card that I created from a “boo boo” that I made during my Color Your Season Class on Thursday night.  On our first card we stamped the floral image and colored it, on the third card we use two of the dies to create some layers …. however, I cut the die shapes out, out of my floral image Oh my …  so I created a form of the eclipse card!!

Can you see the beautiful layering? From a boo-boo it turned out pretty cool … lol.  My card front it popped up with the dimensionals, the second layer is adhered directly to the base of my card and the center is popped up with the Stampin’ Dimensionals as well… giving this card a very unique look.

It was created on Whisper White cardstock and was stamped in Momento Ink using the floral image from the Blended Seasons Stamp Set. I used the New set of Watercolor Pencils to color in my image and the blender pen to give it a more watercolor effect. Our class also used the Stampin’ Blends and Aqua Painters to create cards with this bundle and the new Watercolor Pencils (they are amazing) this whole bundle is amazing!!

Our colors of the Watercolor Pencils were Gorgeous Grape, Night of Navy, Granny Apple Green and Garden Green. Oh yes, and Crushed Curry for our flower centers.  Simply color just like you did as a kid, then use the Blender Pen to soften the look!  After layering the pieces I added the new Glitter Dots to the card to take up just a little of the white space.

See … there really are no mistakes in stamping, just opportunities unfolding!! Hope you enjoyed todays card and that it inspires you to create outside of the box. Or at least, not to throw your boo-boo’s away!!

Thanks for checking in on my today, tomorrow I will share my “Sneak Peek” into the holiday catalog with you.

Have yourself an awesome day!!

Autumn Card with Watercolor Pencils …

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

We are past the halfway point of the week and on the road to the weekend!!  Wooo Hoo! I can’t wait to share this beautiful card with you today … I created this card for my Stars Team meeting this past Saturday to highlight the beautiful Color of Seasons …

Because Stampin’ Up! is also offering a brand new set of Watercolor Pencils as a coordination product with this bundle I just had to play!! Who doesn’t love the ease of the Watercolor pencils when you want several different colors on your Autumn leaves?

Well … let me just show you, a picture is worth a thousand words (or should I say oooooh and aaaaah!!)

I stamped the images with the Momento Ink and began with the Garden Green Watercolor pencil. I used it along the vein in the center of the leaves, then I just colored in some Crushed Curry, then some Cajun Craze and finally a little Cherry Cobbler near the edges.  Each leave was a little different.

Once I was done with the Watercolor Pencils … I used my blender pen to move and blend the color.  Wow … the pencils are definitely artist quality pencils, they blend so easily and looked beautiful in spots where I hardly blended at all!

I did have to fussy cut my leaves out, but I must say that while sitting around the table with a group of friends (my Stars Team members) and just chatting & catching up, before we knew it, they were all cut out!!

After that we added just a touch of the Wink of Stella … and we did that because it really brought together the colored leaves and the die cut leaf. (The die comes with the bundle!)

Our greeting comes from the Blended Seasons Stamp Set (see below) and was punched out using the Pretty Label punch! Popped it up with the Stampin’ Dimensionals and the leaves too. The background was done with the Pinewood Planks Embossing Folder … the autumn leaves look so good against it!!

I can’t stop playing with this bundle … it can be used all year long and for any occasion (Even Weddings – there is a bell with a coordinating die)!! Stampin’ Up!’s® Blended Seasons Stamp Set, coordinating Framelits™ Dies, and Watercolor Pencils are perfect for every season of creating! Plus, save 10% when you buy the stamp set and Framelits in a bundle! But don’t wait—these exclusive products are only available until August 31 while supplies last.

Because the Blended Season Stamp Set and Stitched Season dies are “Limited Time Only” offer … I am hosting classes that will highlight the “Seasons”.  The first class has filled so I am adding another class on Thursday the 9th of August …

Your cards will include the envelopes … All you need to bring is your favorite adhesive.  Three spots have already been reserved so don’t wait / Contact me right away to reserve your spot.  Call 262-334-1009

Thank you so much for sharing a part of your day with me …

Have a wonderful day ~
