Forever Fern Tri-Fold Card …

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

If you are looking for a new Fun Fold that is quick and easy to make … look no further because I have a great card to share with you today. With a few score lines you can create this fun card!

I am using the Forever Greenery product suite that you can find on pages 108 – 110 in our Annual Catalog, so you’ll see the stamp set, dies, designer paper and the awesome Gold Hoop Embellishments.

I love this picture because it shows the designer paper was embossed with the “Subtle” embossing folder … it compliments the other designer paper next to it. They all look nice together.

Grab a cup of coffee or your favorite beverage, sit back and relax while I show you step by step how to create this quick -n- easy fun fold card….

Such a super simple fun fold card to make. The designer papers make it easy to get complimentary patterns that look so good together. The Gold Hoop really adds a special touch to this card. Here is the full layout …

On my Facebook Live last night (in the video) I promised I would share a second card … a Halloween card! I chose my favorite for Halloween, the Magic in this Night product suite. Here is the front of the card …

Using 3 different patterns from the Magic in this Night Designer Series paper and Gorgeous Grape cardstock, we have the base of our card. We stamped some Gorgeous Grape bats and die cut them along with smaller bats out of the Black Glitter Paper. I created a belly band with the ribbon.

Such a cute little card for the Halloween lovers in your family. One of my stampin’ friends stated on my facebook comments that it’s and easy card to make but looks like you worked really hard! lol I must agree … it is fun and easy to make and can be used for any occasion.

This Triangle Fun Fold works great for showing off your designer series paper. With a few simple cuts your card is over half way done. You can add layers if you prefer and some additional embellishments to “jack it up” even more. And when you open it ….

The simplicity of this card makes it easy to whip out many at a time … hmmm, a consideration for my Christmas cards! And they are fun to open.

Walk through the Ferns & Fun Folds!

Today I’d like you to join me in a walk through the beautiful greenery of the Forever Fern Bundle / Forever Greenery product suite. This is my “go to” stamp set, it reminds me of Lovely as a Tree … you can use it for any occasion and for masculine or feminine cards.

Let’s begin with a “simple” stamped card … it’s getting a lot of hits on Pinterest! Makes you feel good when people like the cards you design …

You could leave this card as is, or add a little bling to … Any greeting could be used with this card. You can click HERE to see the original post.

My next card is still basic stamping but with a bit more layering and a fun layout. The corner rounder on the Trio Punch was used to create the cute blocks …

Now … look and see what a few embellishment can do!! I added a simple bow and some rhinestones that I colored with the Just Jade Stampin’ Blends Marker …

If you like the layout of the squares that are rounded … I have one more to show you. For this one, I added a few more steps; the background was embossed with the new Tasteful Textile embossing folder. Then I added larger squares with the Forever Greenery Designer paper to add a real pop.

To finish off the card, the greeting was stamped onto Whisper White and punched with the Everyday Label punch … a little twine to add even more texture and the Elegant Faceted Gems for a some bling to draw your eye around the entire card.

It’s time to bring out the dies! This card was designed with the “Eclipse” Technique ….

The background was textured and I used the Trio Punch again to add the cute floral punch on our greeting. You can learn more about this card HERE. The “Pick a FREE Bundle” offer on that post is no longer available.

Next I’d like to share one of my favorite cards I created from the Forever Greenery suite ….

The background highlights one of the patterns from the Forever Greenery Designer Series paper and splitting it into 3 panels gives the card depth. The punched flowers add a beautiful dimension and the Gold Ring ties everything together … Click HERE to get the step by step details.

This fun card is one of the two cards that my June Club members created so I have created Full Color, Step by Step instructions for this card and the Double Triangle Fold card coming up next (Click Here to View Post) This is a fun and simple card to create ….

This is the second Fun Fold Card … This Double Triangle Fold Card is amazing. It begins in a vertical / portrait position ….

And then it changes into the vertical /landscape layout as it opens …

It is not as hard to create as what you may think. You can follow the step by step instructions to recreate this, and once you have the pattern, you can create for any occasion!

Double Triangle Fun Fold with a Twist!

Forever Fern: Step it up Sunday!

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

I’m excited to share two new cards with you today, both a step up (or “jacked up” if you watch Say Yes to the Dress – lol) from my June 22nd card … Click here to view blog post for this card.

I did take yesterday off to spend time and connect with family who have been going through some medical issues. I’m just happy they are getting better and I’m back in the stamp room!

My first card is a true “step up” from the original Forever Fern card with this punch technique … I’m not sure what it’s called or even if it has a name but I’ve used this several times and it always looks fresh and new …

This “step up” is simple … I added a Just Jade bow and a few rhinestones to add a little glitz to the card. These rhinestones were colored with the Just Jade Stampin’ Blends. With Stampin’ Blends, you can coordinate many of our gems / embellishments with a simple pass of the brush tip.

My next card has the same basic layout but is “stepped up” even more … here we will add embossing on the background and layers to our punched shapes …

I began with Soft Seafoam cardstock. The beautiful texture on the background was created with the Tasteful Textile 3-D embossing folder. Our large punched shape (1-1/2″ x 1-1/2″) went from 4 down to 2 and were punched from the Forever Fern Designer Series paper.

I then created 4 small shapes … start with a 1″ x 1″ square and punch opposite corners with the corner rounder that is on the Trio punch. I gave them a slight curl but wrapping them around the Take Your Pick tool … I also used this tool to add the stunning new “Elegant Faceted Gems”.

I had to share this angle of the card so you can see the stunning texture, layers and faceted gems on this card! I kept the greeting the same but punched it out with the Everyday Label Punch.

When you bring all these amazing product together, you can create so many different styles and layers to a card. Just sit down and have fun creating and layering. This product suite amazes me … and keeps calling me back!
