Peaceful Cabin / Guest Stamper: Kathy Cz.

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

How many of you have the Peaceful Cabin bundle? Many of my friends do … it’s so versatile. Today I’d like to share with you a beautiful card that I received from one of my friends Kathy C. Kathy is also one of my Stars Team members and loves to share her passion for stamping!

Kathy used the Peaceful Place Designer paper (sold out) along with the Peaceful Cabin bundle and then accented it with the Evening Evergreen cardstock. (Looks bluish from the light). It’s a simple layout but with the glimmer paper tucked underneath the die cut cabin … it really pops.

I think anyone would enjoy receiving this card, I know I sure did. I would love to spend a few days here in this Peaceful Cabin.

I want to thank you for checking out my blog today…. enjoy today.

August-December 2021 Mini Catalog - PEACEFUL CABIN SUITE

PEACEFUL CABIN SUITE

A cabin in a snowy meadow, surrounded by trees, is about as iconic of a peaceful scene as I can imagine. With the Peaceful Place Suite you’ll have all the elements for creating cards, scrapbook pages, and more with beautiful, wintery landscapes. The Peaceful Place Specialty Designer Series Paper features a lovely, soft monochrome style with silver accents that are perfect for elegant and natural looks. The Peaceful Cabin stamp set is a DistINKtive set, which means it creates detailed, shaded images. You’ll love creating with this set for the holidays and the winter months that follow. The tutorial below features a diorama-style, that layers down to the focal image, instead of up like most cards we create. I think you’ll love creating and sending this beautiful card. Have a beautiful day ~

DistINKtive stamps are designed to give a detailed, shaded, 3D-like effect. An ink pad with too much ink will create a blotchy, blobby image with these stamps. This is a real case of less is more. Use a Bone Folder or the back of a plastic spoon to push the ink away from the center of the ink pad and towards the edges. Then ink and stamp. Peaceful Place Suite | By Stampin' Up! Halloween POP UP Card …

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Enter if you Dare!! Today, I’m sharing the a Fun & Functional Halloween Card … The fun is the POP UP – inside the card a haunted cabin pops up to give you a 3-D effect complete with ghosts!! The functional is the my card serves as a “GIFT CARD” too!

Let’s start with the front of the card … I used the “Cute Halloween” Designer Series paper and Black & White Gingham Ribbon dyed with my Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends Marker.

The inside of the card is created with the “Peaceful Cabin” bundle and the magic of our Blending Brushes … this is illustrated in the video below.

You’ll also see that I used another pattern of the Cute Halloween Designer Paper which creates the pocket you can put your Gift Card into.

In this photo, you will notice I “did not” line the back of my cabin as I showed in the video … I wanted you to see the difference. Here you can see the purples through the cabin … kind of spooky!

Enjoy the video and please let me know if you have any questions …

This fun card is very easy to make … three simple components, the front, the pop up & background and the base in which you can tuck in a Gift Card. Your ghouls and goblins are going to flip for this card!!

The dimensions for the “pop up” section of the card is 3″ by 2-1/4″ … score in 1/2″ incriminates: Score at 1/2″ – 1″ – 1-1/2″ and 2″ … then CUT at 2-1/4″. The 1/4″ edge will be your glue flap that secures the pop up together.

Here is the Fall Special I talked about in my video. Please message me if you have any question. Thank you!!

Thank you for stopping by and spending a part of your day with me. I hope the rest of your day is wonderful ~

Simple Sunday: Wintry Cabin

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Are you ready for another card from the Peaceful Cabin Bundle and Peaceful Place Specialty Designer paper? Today’s card highlights the pattern with several cabins on it … it is so pretty, I just had to use it and share it with you.

If you’re looking for a quick & easy card to make this holiday season this could be exactly what you are looking for …. You will get 12 cards just from this pattern!

I also love that this beautiful card could be sent to your best girlfriend or your brother as we would all love to spend some time in that lovely A-Frame house … at least I would. As a child I had a fascination with them, so unique and beautiful!

Here is the entire packet of the Peaceful Place Designer Series paper …

I chose to compliment this designer paper with a pop of Real Red to usher in that holiday feeling. The swish of the ribbon adds movement to the card like the breeze of winter winds.

I used the Everyday Label punch to showcase my sentiment and then added a pop of the red behind it to make it really create it as the focal point …

A touch of the Wink of Stella on the two main cabins in the woods really adds that wintry shimmer to our scene. I added a little sparkle to my card with the Wonderful Gems. These are adhesive-backed, faceted gems with gold glitter flecks. You see a touch of that shimmer in the ribbon as well … it coordinates so lovely together.

Thank you for stopping by and sharing a part of your Sunday with me.

Have a beautiful day ~

Peaceful Cabin

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

I’m thrilled to share this card today … My Stamp Club is meeting this week and we are using the Peaceful Place suite which includes the Peaceful Cabin Bundle and Peaceful Place Specialty Designer paper. You can find these goodies in the Mini catalog on pages 36 through 38.

I thought they would love to have another sample to use when they get their products from this suite so I came up with this little beauty ….

Immerse yourself in the tranquility of the Peaceful Cabin Stamp Set, to another place, and escape. This versatile set has stamps you can use separately, or you can pair them for a peaceful, wintry scene. You’ll be creating the warmth which reflects the beauty of the season by adding these serene greetings and images to your handmade cards, gift tags and more.

The calming nature scenes and muted color schemes in the specialty paper will set the perfect mood for your cards or scrapbook pages.

Although the trees look black they are actually Evening Evergreen as is the mat behind this beautiful paper. The cabin is cut from Basic White and all of them are popped up with our Stampin’ Dimensionals …

I stamped the greeting in Evening Evergreen. The greeting comes from the Time of Giving stamp set from the Time of Giving Bundle (I’ll be sharing samples from that bundle in upcoming posts).

The coordinating products in this suite make it so easy to create these amazing cards … I think this card would also make the perfect birthday card. Who doesn’t love a cabin in the woods, the perfect escape!

Thank you for taking time out of your day to stop by and visit!

Have a nice weekend ~
