Into the Pumpkin Patch ….

Hello Stampin’ Friends,

Happy Sunday to you.  Today I’d like to share the last of my Motley Monsters trio … three cards from one sheet of the designer paper.  Believe me, I have enough to make another 3 cards, if not more!

The beautiful leaves on yesterdays card were flipped over to the pumpkin side today … How fun would it be to walk through the pumpkin fields as cute as these.  My cat & bat are the leftovers from the Motley Monster line up on Friday’s card.

That’s what I call great left overs … all I did was stamp the “Trick or Treat” greeting from the Good Greetings stamp set. Don’t forget you can get this stamp set for free with a qualifying order or hosting a stampin’ party.

I added a strip of Crushed Curry for a pop of color and then wrapped it with burlap strings that I pulled off of the burlap ribbon.  I love that it’s crimped and adds a natural look and great texture to the card.

Another quick and easy card using the fun Motley Monsters Designer Series Paper. I’ll be back to share more Halloween and Autumn cards.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Guest Stamper … Cindy S.

Hello Stampin’ Friends,

Happy September! Today I have a fun card to share with you, created by one of my Star’s group members … Cindy S.  I believe this may be the last of our swap cards, but not to worry … we meet monthly!

Cindy used our exclusive RMHC stamp set, Flamingo Lingo.  I was not much of a Flamingo person before, but I am totally falling in love with this stamp set.  Besides … for each stamp set we sell – $3.00 is donated to the Ronald McDonald House Charities.

Click directly onto the Ronald McDonald House to learn more about this amazing charity.  See the houses that host families so that they may be close to their seriously ill or injured children.

Cindy used the Melon Mambo and Basic Black markers to bring her Flamingo to life, and created a focal point by using the Ovals Collection Framelit dies. The background is the Decorative Dots embossing folder.

The pretty flowers that draw your eye from the focal point to the greeting can be found in the Flamingo Lingo stamp set, and coordinate with the Petite Petals punch.

Cindy used the “And Many More” stamp set for her greeting and used the fun combination of the Word Window and Modern Label punch… they look great together!

I think Cindy did a great job and I thank her for sharing.

Thank you for dropping by today.

Hope you are having a safe and Happy Holiday weekend,

Pumpkin Card Share …

Hello my Stampin’ Friends,

Oh my… It’s March 31st already!  It’s been cold for so long that I don’t think we realized that we really are heading into April (and Spring).

I have created a bunch of cards using my March Paper Pumpkin that I wanted to share with you.  I also want to remind you that the offer for the FREE Markers (when you sign up for the Paper Pumpkin) ends today.  CLICK HERE TO TRY IT OUT

I don’t want you to miss out on the FREE markers if you have been thinking about trying out our Paper Pumpkin.  It really is a fun treat that comes to you each month.

Here is my first sample, which represents how Stampin’ Up! pictures the design for you.  You will see as we go on, that there are 4 each of the two different greetings in wood, the base cards, two different stamps, and two different ink colors.  The cute little glitter dots, envelopes and gold envelope liners are also included in the kit.  Oh yes, and they even have “glue dots” included to adhere your wooden greetings!

My second card for you is simply adding a flower created with the “Petite Petal” punch from the “Celebrate the Everyday” catalog.  I put one of the little glitter dots into the center … did I mention that they are “self-adhesive”!

For my 3rd card, I found left-over oval from another project, and added it to my card.  The fun part is … I stamped the arrow image directly onto my wooden greeting!  You could stamp any design on these wooden pieces.  How fun is that!

000_0948

For my 4th and final card share, I stamped the patterned image on my card several times to create a wide border.  I have to say that using these clear photopolymer stamps … it’s really easy to align it!

Then I used the ink pad (spot) that was included in the kit, to “die” my wooden greeting.   I punched a circle out of the envelope liner, and used it to highlight my greeting.  The envelope liners are long enough that you can still use the liner for your envelope after punching … as shown below.

I understand that you cannot get this Paper Pumpkin any more, but I did want to show you how neat, and how versatile they really are.  If you really like the wooden elements – you can find the “Essential Wooden Elements” on page 18 of the “Celebrate the Everyday” catalog.

Pair it up with the Watercolor Wonder Designer Note cards and try some of the same techniques I’ve shown you here.  I will have the links at the bottom of my blog for you view these products.

Made with Love …

Hello my Stampin’ Friends & a Happy Valentine’s Day to you.

First, let me say thank you for all the “get well” wishes I received yesterday … you are all awesome.  Feeling much better today.

I could help but piggy-back on yesterday’s layout for today’s card share.  I said you could make those cute cards in any color you want, truth is … you can change the punch (or framelits) too!

000_0766

I followed the same layout, used the same stamp set, and stayed with the same dimensions … I only changed the cardstock to the beautiful “Red Glimmer” paper and the “Hearts Collection” framelits.  That’s it … I’ll have to call today’s blog “Fast Friday”!  LOL

I do have to say one thing … I found using the framelits a bit easier than the punches – only because you can line the framelits up on the “Magnetic Plateform” and center them.

Thanks so much for visiting my blog today, and I hope to see you tomorrow.  I promise, no more hearts.  Well, for a little while anyway.

Have a great weekend ~
