Creative Fun with Egg Cartons!

Have you seen the cute Mini Egg Cartons in the Occasions catalog?  They are on page 18 and tucked in the upper right hand corner. If you like crafting with your kids / grandchildren you should give these a try.

These fun containers are perfectly sized to hold small goodies. They come in a Natural Cream color and contain 8 cartons – each with 4 sections.  When closed they measure 4″ x 4″ x 2-3/4″ … perfect for little hands and little treats!

Here they are teamed up with the “Basket Bunch Bundle” …. Basket Bunch Photopolymer stamp set and the Basket Builders Framelit Dies. This is a fun bundle if your ready for spring or decorating for Easter.

Want to know another fun technique you can use on your Mini Egg Cartons?  Why you can color them by using the Stampin’ Spritzers found on page 180 of our annual catalog and any one of our ink refills.  Just think of all the colors you can make them!!

Project Life: Friend Like You

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

I’m finally back up and running and here to share my “Project Life” creation with you. My last post shared the “Celebrate Everyday” Project Life video so you could see all the goodies tucked inside.

If you ever need a really quick card, just pull out your project life kit!!  I began with choosing a card for the front of my card. I just love this cute little flower pattern so I picked it and trimmed it down the sides to fit my base.

My base color is Flirty Flamingo and coordinates with the colors in my Project Life kit. They have a list of the colors right in the catalog … so it’s easy to choose your color pallet. I then mounted my Project Life card onto the front of the base.

I love stamp sets with multiple greetings and the new “Suite Sentiments” has a little bit of everything so I had to add it to my collection.  I thought the “Everyone needs a friend like you” worked so well with the flower pattern but I wanted it to stand out more so I stamped it on some Whisper white and matted it with a little bit of Flirty Flamingo. You can see the stamp set at the end of my post.

The “Celebrate Everyday” Project Life also has a fun accessory pack that you can get to coordinate with the card collection … this is where I got the heart that matches the pattern on my card. I also backed that with a bit of Flirty Flamingo so it would stand out.

Both the greeting and the heart were popped up with the Stampin’ dimensionals. It’s a great inexpensive way to add some dimension to your cards and scrapbook pages.

Sending Smiles …

Did you enjoy the video and the new “Lift Me Up” Bundle (142896)?  This stamp set and dies are so easy to use, and fun to create with!!

Today I’m going to share with you a card I created using this bundle and introducing one of our Sale-a-bration items that you can get for FREE with a $50 purchase (before shipping & handling). Oh … and don’t forget that with each $50 purchase you will also receive a Virtual Rewards point from me!!

I knew I wanted to highlight the balloon so I die cut the Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer paper. I then pulled out the “Carried Away” Designer Series paper … your FREE items with qualifying purchase. The designer paper is also where I got my color pallet from.

The base of my card was done in Night of Navy as is the center and basket of the balloon.  I also used it to highlight the greeting. The other two colors used behind the balloon die cut are Peekaboo Peach and Watermelon Wonder … all of these colors are found in the “Carried Away” Designer Series paper.

They (Stampin’ Up!)  have the dies to cut out the pieces that fit behind the balloon so it makes it super simple to create a really cool design, or ombre look … whatever you desire! The entire card was really easy to make but looks like you put a lot of effort into it.  We’ll just keep this our little secret!

The Occasions and Sale-a-bration catalogs go live on the 4th … but don’t forget that if it’s bundles you love, you may want to get any from the Holiday Catalog before they are gone.

Simply Sunday: Sending Love

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

I hope you enjoyed the holidays and I thank you for spending a part of your 2016 with me. I look forward to sharing more ideas, products and stampin’ tips with you in 2017. I have a great line up of classes and events for the new year as well.

Today I’d like to share with you a sweet -n- simple card that showcases some of the new items in the 2017 Occasions Catalog.

The designer paper used for the background comes from the Sending Love Designer Series Paper Stack (142733) and is part of the Sending Love product suite found on pages 14 and 15. 

All of the items used today come from the Sending Love product suite including the “Sealed with Love ” (142815) stamp set.

To highlight the greeting and create a focal point … I added two of the hearts from the “Sending Love” embellishments (142735).  There are 36 cute wooden elements in this set / 6 each of 6 designs.

Not a lot of work here … just a sweet -n- simple card to send your love in any language! Hope you enjoyed, the products seen here today will be available on January 4th.

Pretty Pines – Guest Stamper: Barb W.

I’m back up an running (for now) so I wanted to share a beautiful Christmas card from one of my club members, Barb … She is using the Pretty Pines Bundle. Since I do not have this set, thought I’d share.
