April Paper Pumpkin: Lovely Little Wreath

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

It is my honor to share with you the following post from Stampin’ Up! that highlights the April Paper Pumpkin: Lovely Little Wreath kit.  I love the alternative projects they share in the post …

April_pp_web_shots-8_homepage (1)

Say hello to the Lovely Little Wreath! This adorable accent is the perfect addition to your springtime décor and makes a great gift for special occasions like Mother’s Day.

Usually we show three extra ideas for the kit, but this time our artist had so much fun that she came up with FIVE projects! So, what do a cactus, dinosaur, and Christmas have in common? Let’s find out.

PP_April_alt

It’s never too early to start thinking about Christmas, right? It’s easy to turn the Lovely Little Wreath into a holiday décor item. Simply swap out the yellow flowers for holly berries and use a holiday stamp on the chalkboard sign.

PP_April_alt4

Next, with Mother’s Day right around the corner, add some festive foliage to create a glamorous gift box for Mom. Use the chalkboard tags and Very Vanilla Craft Stampin’ Spot from the kit.

PP_April_alt5

Raise your hand if you’ve picked up on the cactus trend. They’re everywhere, right? Create some eye-catching cacti with beautiful desert blooms with the extra flowers and leaves from your kit.

PP_April_alt2

The bent leaves on the branches pop right off this prehistoric card. And, might we say . . . the end result is dino-mite!

PP_April_alt3

Finally, keep it simple with a smaller version of the wreath to create a stunning centerpiece for a card front.

PP_April_alt1 (1)
It’s always amazing to see what you can do with your Paper Pumpkin kit. Whether you want to change it up completely, or just use up the extra parts and pieces, the end result is always fun! If you’ve fallen in love with the Lovely Little Wreath, be sure to stock up on refills, while supplies last.

How do you like the FREE All about Everything Stamp Set that came with your April kit? Check out our YouTube channel for some project ideas and then use #allabouteverything to share your projects with us.

Thank you for stopping by today …

Hope yours is a good one!

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Yesterday I posted the retiring stamp sets and products for you … I will be putting the list on the side bar (right side of blog) so you can click on it. Stampin’ Up! updates it often so you know when items have been SOLD OUT.

TODAY’S STAMPIN’ SUPPLY LIST …

To a Great Friend Card …

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Today I have a card to share with you from the Stampin’ Up! files that is so cute and a cute stampin’ tip I didn’t want you to miss ….

Gallery_Sample_02.2015_This card is just full of fun techniques … First let me start with the “Irresistibly Yours” Designer Series Paper (the blue and white).

Color Me Irresistible Specialty Designer Series Paper by Stampin' Up!

It actually comes pre-embossed so you can make it any color you’d like! So whether you spritz the color on like shown in the picture above – and how they did it on our card, or use the sponges or sponge daubers … it’s fun and easy to create any color pallet you want!

The greeting comes from the “Simply Wonderful” stamp set (retired) and is stopped on a tag created using the “Scallop Tag Topper” Punch. What I loved about this and have never tried myself … was to turn the tag upside down!!  How cool is that … it created a whole new look!

Don’t forget my little “go to” flower punch from the “Itty Bitty” Accents punch pack. I add these to many of my cards to add a cute dimension. A little bling in the center and your set.

Gallery_Sample_02.2015_

Thank You for checking out my blog today. Please let me know if you have any questions on the card or the products that were used. Love to help you.

Have a fabulous Friday!

STAMPIN’ SUPPLY LIST…

Class of 2016!

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Today I’d like to share with you a card that Stampin’ Up! posted by one of their Artisan stampers: Amy O’Neill (Artisan Design Team 2015–2016).

I’ve seen so many birthday and anniversary cards done with the The Number of Years Stamp Set (item 140653) and coordinating Large Numbers Framelits Dies (item 140622) that I thought this was just perfect …

1

Perfect timing and truly the first time I’ve seen a graduation card!  Love it… She began with a watercolor wash on our watercolor paper.

The “Congrats to You” sentiment comes from the Tin of Cards Stamp Set (item 138946) – one of my favorites.

Hope you enjoyed … thanks for dropping in.

Have a wonderful day ~

You Make Me Happy

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

A quick post for you on this wonderful Wednesday. A cute card created by Stampin’ Up! that I thought I should share …

Project1_DBWS_Mar0114_all

There are day’s we’re looking for quick and easy cards and this one fits the bill! I like that this card is also gender neutral … well maybe we should take off the doily if you were going to give it to a man! You decide.

The color pallet fairs well with Crumb Cake and Pool Party Cardstock accented by the “Fresh Prints” designer series paper stack. The greeting is stamped in Real Red using the “Perfect Pennants” stamp set.

You will definitely want to make sure you pick up the “Banners Framelits” dies so you don’t have to fussy cut any of your banners … much quicker running it through the BigShot.

Quick -n- Easy … hope that’s how your day goes.

Thanks for dropping in on me today.
