Hello There Friends …

Hello Stampin’ Friends,

Today I have a sweet and simple card for you in beautiful shades of blue.  I’m also using the very versatile “Lullaby” Designer Series Paper.  You can create so many different styles and types of cards with this designer paper … don’t let the name “Lullaby” hold you to one type of card.

000_1130

I chose the pattern with the dots … they are so fun, and you can use is for Babies, Birthdays and just to say Hello.  My color pallet consists of Coastal Cabana, Bermuda Bay and Whisper White.

My greeting is from “Hello There” … a fun new Hostess Stamp Set, and is stamped in Bermuda Bay.  I wanted a color that coordinated with the Coastal Cabana and gave it more depth.

To accessorize my card, I used the new “Thick Bakers Twine”, also in Coastal Cabana.  I wrapped the twine around the left corner and then pulled the ends up around the lower right-hand corner and tied it… one piece!  I wanted to pop up my greeting so I also used the Stampin’ Dimensionals to secure the twine on the back.

000_1128

Now … you know you can’t purchase this cute stamp set, however … I’d be happy to show you and your friends even more when you host a stampin’ party.  Book before the end of June and you will be invited to my exclusive “Hostess Only” Appreciation Party!

You can contact me at lindaluvs2stamp@aol.com

Have a terrific Tuesday ~

Something for Baby …

Hello Stampin’ Friends,

I am excited to share with you today, one more card that I have created for my 2014 Catalog Kick-Off party.  This sweet card is done in Crisp Cantaloupe.

It doesn’t matter at what stage we are in our lives, because life goes on and we are blessed with God’s little treasures somewhere in our families or lives… sweet little baby’s.  I fell in love with the new “Something for Baby” the minute I saw it… the nostalgic buggy, the onsie and even the rubber ducky!  You can find it on page 74 of the new catalog.

102_2414

The “Something for Baby” stamp set also has coordinating framelit dies.  You gotta love it when you don’t have to cut the stamped images out manually.  Personally … I like to use that time stamping!

I teamed up this fabulous stamp set with the “Lullaby” Designer Series paper.  If you look closely at the little hearts you will see little stripes.  I added the 1/8″ Silver ribbon to compliment that designer paper, and then added the fun mini brads to the carriage to tie it all together.

I used the “Circle Collections” framelits to cut out the carriage and make it my focal point.

The sweet saying comes from the “Something to Say” stamp set, and the circle punched were used to highlight the greeting.  The card also has a coordinating verse for the inside as well.

102_2418

You will find all the ingredients listed at the bottom of my post to create this card (any many more).  Just click on the photo to view more information on that product or purchase.

Thank you for visiting me today.

Have a wonderful week ~

Have you ever imagined …

Hello Stampin’ Friends,

Today I have some cute stampin’ projects that were shared by fellow demonstrator Cindy B.  She is also a project writer at Stampin’ Up!  Cindy, just like the rest of us, loves to stamp, then her friend asked her the golden question …

She had in fact thought about being a demonstrator,  and was invited to a downline meeting.   What do Stampin’ Up! demonstrators do at their meetings? They make stuff. Lots of stuff. And they swap.  They eat yummy snacks. They learn about upcoming promotions and products. And they have fun with friends who love to papercraft. Here are some pictures that Cindy shared …

Have you ever thought of  becoming a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator? When you join Stampin’ Up! between now and June 30, you’ll receive:

  • $55 worth of products

  • A 30 percent discount on your first order*

  • A 20 percent discount on all your orders

  • Free Paper Pumpkin Kit

Guest Stamper: Linda S.

Hello Stampin’ Friends,

Today I am going to share with you a card I received from one of my Star’s by Design Group member for a swap.  Even with all the samples you can find on-line now days … it’s so much nicer to swap cards!

Linda’s cute card is done in Old Olive and Daffodil Delight … I  just love how bright and pretty it is.  It would surely bring a smile to anyone’s face.

000_1122

Linda used the Honeycomb embossing folder for some added texture to the card, and if you look closely, you will see that she cut out a piece and used it inside her flower.  The flower was punched with the Pansy punch.  The inner flower was punched from the Boho Blossoms punch … and finished off with a Candy Dot!

The images were stamped in Old Olive and Daffodil Delight from the Six Sided Sampler Stamp set.  Each was punched out using the hexagon punch.  I like the tile effect created on the card and really draws your eye to the flower.

000_1124

I hope you enjoyed Linda’s card as much as I did.  So cute!

Thank you so much for dropping by today.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Fast -n- Furious Friday’s … Hello Love

Hello Stampin’ Friends,

Wow … another week is behind us and we can look forward to that weekend!  Today I have a sweet card for you and will introduce another of the Hostess stamp sets.  It is the cute “Hello Love” stamp set.

It’s done simply in Whisper White and Lost Lagoon…

102_2427

With just a bit of basic stamping, you have this cute card to share with someone “who makes you happy”!  Don’t you just love that little birdie?!

The yellow used for the sun and greeting is the new “Hello Honey”.  I think these two colors work so well together.

102_2424

It’s crazy how easy this card was to create!  The tulip folder is no longer available, so for those of you who don’t have it … this card will look just fine without it.  Our little bird makes the perfect focal point!

Thanks you for stopping by!

Enjoy the upcoming weekend ~

Bloom with Hope …

Hello Stampin’ Friends,

Today I’d like to share with you one more card from my Kick-Off Party.  I am lovin’ the new In-Colors this year. “Stampin’ Up! has done it again! The new 2014-16 In-colors offer something for everyone.

My favorite …Blackberry Bliss is amazing as a dark grape color with hints of brown… you got a taste of it yesterday on my “Time to Celebrate” card. I must say it looks awesome next to the Mossy Meadow color! But that was another card. (sorry for the tease)

Today’s card features Lost Lagoon, a cool color – and I mean cool – because it has hints of green in it, which makes it a perfect pair with many of the subtles, because it will highlight the intensity of those colors without overwhelming them.

102_2435

I used the “Circle Card Framelit” die and paired it with gorgeous Hostess set “Bloom with Hope”. This stamp set is filled with beautiful flowers and salutations.

The flower was stamped with Black StazOn and colored in with a Blender Pen and the Lost Lagoon Ink pad. A basic technique but a great way to color … makes blending easy.  The center was colored in using the “Hello Honey” marker.

The flower image was punched using the 2-1/2″ Circle punch, which coordinates perfectly with the Circle card framelit die!  Another clever decision by Stampin’ Up!

102_2436

The charming designer series paper I used is “Lullaby”.  It work so well with the flower. Then again, any of our beautiful designer papers would look great with this stamp set.

I can’t finish this post without sharing the remaining In-Colors.  The Hello Honey is “sweet”! Like the word says, it has great Honey hues with a nice brown under-tone, so it’s not to bright or too light.

And finally Tangelo Twist… a soft orange that will blend seamlessly with so many other colors, especially the pinks since it does have some pink and yellow undertones. Who knew … right!  I am definitely going to try out that color combination!

OK … I have been so excited to share all the fun new items that I forgot to share with you the “Weekly Deals”.  I have now made it easier by putting the link on the side bar!  Just click on it at anytime and check out the “Weekly Specials” !

Have yourself a most awesome day!!

blog-closing-small

Please remember that the “Bloom with Hope” is a Hostess stamp set.  You will need to host a qualifying workshop (stampin’ party) or purchase $150 or more.  You can order directly on-line, have a book party, or I’ll come over to show you this beautiful and more!!

Let’s get this party started …

Hello Stampin’ Friends,

I just want to send a quick  “thank you” to all those who came last night and helped me kick off the brand new catalog … and the beginning of my celebrating 15 years with Stampin’ Up!

Today I want to share with you, one of the cards the ladies made last night.   It comes from the stamp set “We’re in this Together” … how fitting, don’t you think?  And isn’t that what stamping is about? … Doing something we love, with people we love to hang with, for people we love to give to.

102_2429

The image was stamped onto a 2″ wide strip of Whisper White using the StazOn Ink pad.  StazOn is what I like to use when coloring.  The tag was topped off with the beautiful new Blackberry Bliss 3/8″ Stitched Satin Ribbon.

I love the greeting on this stamp “It’s Time to Celebrate!”… which was strategically picked out for this event. lol (It’s actually on the stamp)

Our party girl was colored in with the new 2014-16 In-Color Stampin’ Write Markers – Blackberry Bliss and Hello Honey!  All of these new In-colors pair up so nicely.  I just love working with them, and you will see more of the colors used in the next few posts.

The background is the new Blackberry Bliss cardstock (Congratulations to Barb who won the prize for picking out my favorite new In-color)  Oh my gosh … this color is so luscious!!  It was embossed with the “Perfect Polka Dots” embossing folder.

102_2433

To add a splash of color and to draw your eye right to the focal point (our stamped image) we added 3 pretty flowers punched from the “Petite Petals” punch.  Of course you must have pretties in the center, so we added the largest of the pearls.

I have a sneak peek of another card in this photo taken of Kris during the stampin’ party…

102_2445

Congrats to our Door Prize winners … Payton, Ann W., Cindy P., Kris H., Olivia, Kathie, Alice, Janet H., Janet Z., Connie, Cindy B., Karie, Amy, Cheryl, and Marge.  We had 15 winners, one for each year!!  I wish I would have gotten a picture of all my winners together… that would have looked so cool!

We also want to say “CONGRATULATIONS” to Connie for winning the Grand Prize of the Creative Options Tote, Cardstock, Designer Paper, Ribbon Pack, and Buttons, on my!

102_2446

And what a better way to complete the night but to have my upline, Vicki Towell stop in and surprise me with a bouquet of flowers.  THANK YOU VICKI … that was so sweet and they are beautiful!

102_2449

It was a fun night, and there is much more fun coming this year!  I’ll keep you posted 🙂

Thank you for checking out my blog today ~

Welcoming the new …

demomain_catalog_demo_5.30.2104-6.30.2014_US

Hello Stampin’ Friends,

Today is the first “full” day of the new 2014-15 Stampin’ Up! catalog … how exciting is that!  And what better way to “welcome” something than the new stamp set “Something for Baby”.

You are going to simply fall in love with this cute set and today’s card share ….

000_1115

Sweet and simple is how I’m describing today’s card.   I simply stamped the cute little one’sie in Bermuda Bay (a very nice gender neutral color) and then cut it out with the coordinating framelit “Baby’s First”.

The designer Series paper that I used for the background is “Maritime” … I just loved those little star’s.  Stampin’ Up! does have a very nice designer paper called “Lullaby” also.

I used the Tea Lace Paper Doilies to create a “blankie” for our baby.  I did this by folding it up like a flower and folding the center over, then just adhered it to my designer paper.

000_1119

The bow was created with the new “Thick Bakers Twine” … wow, that is really nice to work with!  Of course I used the Coastal Cabana which coordinates with the rest of my card.

Thank you for joining me today.  I will list the ingredients for this card below… just click on the product for full details or to purchase.

Have a great day ~

Hello Sweet Friend and Goodbye …

Hello Stampin’ Friends,

We are nearing the end of an old friendship – the 2013-14 Catalog.  There’s only a few days left, and some of the items on today’s card with be gone forever.

Today I want to share a card with you that I created for some special friends.  This is one of my favorite cards that I have ever made and thought it was time to share.

000_1109

I wanted something special and different so I came up with my color pallet first; Basic Black, Basic Gray, Smoky Slate and Pink Pirouette.  I used the black as my base and then only to stamp the greeting.  It created an elegant look.

Next, I inked up the stamp  “En Francias” in Smoky Slate and stamped it onto the Smoky Slate cardstock.  This is my depth (extra texture) for the card.  Unfortunately, the “En Francias” stamp is sold out in both the clear and wood mount.

I choose the “Six Sided Sampler” and paired it with the “Hexagon” punch.  I needed to recreate this card several times, so I created a “punch template”.  I figured out where I wanted to place my stamped images, and where I wanted to punch and then made the template.

101_1434

Once the template was created, I held the Basic Gray cardstock with it, and punched out the area’s punched on the template.  After that was done I ran the cardstock through the BigShot with the Perfect Polka Dot folder…. adding a bit more texture.  The entire background was mounted using the Stampin’ Dimensionals to lift it off the base.

Using the Six-Sided Sampler stamp set, I stamped a couple of images and my greetings onto the Smoky Slate.  Then used the Hexagon punch to punch them out.  The punched images were placed around the punched areas on the Basic Gray… the greeting was popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

000_1111

For an accent, I created a layered butterfly, Elegant Butterfly in Smoky Slate and stamped with “En Francias” and then topped with the Bitty Butterfly in Pink Pirouette.

To balance the color and draw your eye to the greeting, I punched out a small flower from the “Itty Bitty Shapes” trio punches (On the retirement list) also in Pink Pirouette.  Both of these items were embellished with the beautiful Rhinestones.  I hope they NEVER retire those … I love them and use them all the time!

000_1109

I hope you enjoyed my card creation and that you’ve learned how to create a template for punching multiple cards.  I only with the photographs showed the full dimension of this card.  I will have the ingredients listed below for you.

I love sharing ideas, and with the new catalog coming out … it will be a joy to share these fabulous new stamp sets and accessories with you.  You can begin ordering from the New 2014-15 Catalog today at NOON … Mountain time!

Scrapbooking Road Trip …

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Today I am going to share with you another one of my favorite items off the Weekly Deals list.

I love the Typeset Alphabet Dies … there is so much you can do with these, especially if you have school kids.  My grandkids use them for their school projects all the time!

Here a just a few of the projects I have made with my stampin’ groups.  For my first project, let’s go on a little road trip…

Road Trip - Sept ScrapClub

We used the alphabets as designed, by cutting out the letters, but we also used the reverse or negative of the alphabet to highlight the “R” in Road Trip.  You will also see the use of the Top Note die in the lower right hand corner.

Let’s see where our road trip is taking us ….

000_0716

Wooo Hooo, a Badger Football Game!!  You can’t get any better than that!  I made this page with my granddaughter Shayla for a demonstration I was doing at a local college.

Now … wasn’t that a “HOOT”!

000_0467

Nothing like a good road trip down memory lane.  The Typeset alphabet worked perfectly for our scrapbook pages.

I have reposted the Weekly Deals so you can view them again.  Don’t forget we also have the Blowout Sale and the Clearance Rack!  So many deals … so little time.  The new catalog is right around the corner.

My weekly deal favorites …

Hello Stampin’ Friends,

On Wednesday I shared with you the weekly deals, today I want to share with you why these are some of my favorites!

First let me start with the “Heart Punch” … I love punches, they make creating cards so quick and easy.  Just a couple layers of cardstock, glimmer paper and a greeting!  Simple …

000_0766

Next is the Natural Composition Specialty Designer Series Paper …What can I say, this is an awesome product!  The specialty paper is one sided but it has an embossed side.

You can leave it as is, and just add a greeting or you can emboss over the top of the embossing as was done on this card …

000_0293

Ok … if you think that is awesome (and it is) then grab a brayer, ink it up with your favorite color, and brayer that color over the top of this fabulous specialty paper.  The emboss on the paper, resists!  You can do this technique on “any” of the designs.  Check out this card…

000_0297

So those are 2 of my favorites.  Hope you enjoyed the samples.

Click on any of the links below to view further details of the specials.

Have an awesome Friday ~
