Sweet “Sneak” Peeks into the New Catalog …

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Today I’m going to be short on words but will share some of the beautiful cards that were shared with those of us who were lucky enough to attend the April OnStage event.

You’ll view 3 talented demonstrators boards and two projects they created that highlight the new catalog stamp sets …. enjoy!

First up… Stesha and the Peaceful Reflection Bundle.

The softness of the lines really do create a “Peaceful Reflection”…

Next I would like to share two cards from the “Animal Outing” bundle! So cute …

This is just one of the stamp sets that we got as a gift from Stampin’ Up! at OnStage. I am really lovin’ this stamp set, so you will be seeing many more from this set.

Last but not least, it’s actually one of my favorites so far … the “Painted Glass” bundle. This board was created by my fellow West Bend demonstrator Pat Ertman, she did a beautiful job!

Saved this beautiful card for last … so pretty!!

The bundle comes with the stamp set and framelits. Also in the product suite is the stunning stained glass vellum paper.  Can’t wait to get my hands on this entire suite and I’ll be sure to invite you!!

Thank you for spending your Saturday with me … it looks like many of us are house bound, this spring is just not making an appearance!!

Whooops … did I say that! Nope not me, it was the robin!!

Have a good day, stay warm, stay dry ~

More OnStage = Sneak Peeks

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

I have a few more pictures from our Stampin’ Up! OnStage event last weekend. Today I’ll give you a glimpse on what it’s like to be in the audience watching the presentations.

Each table was lovingly decorated … don’t know when and how they have time to do this!! They amaze me … and butterflies! My Mom loved butterflies and to walk into a room that is filled with them brought a tear to my eye.

Follow the butterflies across the tables (past the person who photo bombed – lol) … you begin with the purples & pinks, blues, greens, yellows and orange. Now image the entire room filled like this, it was beautiful.  Our eyes work much better than cameras!!  Here is a close up of the table … matching note books to the butterflies!

Now as we get seated and the event begins, we were blessed to have Shelli Gardner (Co-Founder of Stampin’ Up!) as our main presenter … we had many great Stampin’ Up! staff presenting in Milwaukee.  Remember, they are spread out all over the world! Sara … Shelli’s daughter was presenting in Australia!!

My Star’s and I were in the row of  “Yellow Butterflies” …  We were closer to the back which is fine with me, because with all the big screens we don’t miss a thing! The next few pictures will be shots of the new product presentations.

I can not show the catalog or the stamp sets … but we can share samples! They show us so much in the time we are there, your best bet is to bring along your camera and go nuts!  So much information … So much fun!! Hmmm … more butterflies. How did she do that???

The day isn’t all work though … we get lunch, more stamping demonstrations, we get to stamp and use the new products too … Demonstrator Life is Good!  And if that isn’t good enough, we get our cake – and eat it too … or should I say Cupcake!!

Yup … Life was good and if this is a sneak peek to what OnStage Live in Orlando this November is going to be, I think they are going to Rock our stocks off!  Want to join me??? Let’s chat.

I will continue sharing what we saw at OnStage and you’ll see more samples!!  Plus … I think my UPS man will be paying me a visit soon with my pre-order 🙂

Till then I thank you for stopping in to visit me today ~

I hope you have a great weekend!!

Big News … What’s Going … What’s Coming Back … What’s New!!

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

What an exciting time it is to be a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator! Today I’m going to share some of the fun we had at CenterStage and OnStage this weekend and some of the changes coming!! Wow … I love my job!

Let’s start with Friday night when Stampin’ Up! hosted CenterStage … a fun night out for their demonstrators who have achieved Silver Elite status and above (Leadership).

Because Stampin’ Up! is celebrating 30 years … we were invited to party like it’s 1988, so we rocked it 80’s style! I’m kind of glad you cannot see my outfit (LOL) because I didn’t even dress like that in the 80’s … except maybe for the shoulder pads!! I’m here with Lyssa … a fellow demonstrator from Watertown, WI.

I have to say … Stampin’ Up! really loves to spoil us. Look at all the goodies we came home with on Friday night!  And there was more on Saturday …

Oh yes … You are seeing the new catalog tucked under there.  We have a policy were we cannot show anything until it is released for all our fellow demonstrators to see.  Do also see color swatches?? We’ll get to that in a few minutes 🙂   Come join me and my downline at the table Saturday Morning …

Each one of us in attendance got one of those little light boxes, so I set mine up to Welcome my team when they arrived!  Love these ladies …

Here are just 3 of my team of Star’s; Brenda, Debi and Connie … a group of ladies who love what we do, and we love sharing it with you! We’d love you to join us at our next OnStage … it’s in Orlando. Girls just wanna have fun!!

There IS a little business shared at our OnStage event, and lots of showcasing of new products. Can’t wait to share with you, but we have a retiring list coming!! AND we are going into a Color ReVamp!

Stampin’ Up! is refreshing our color line, when they listed the ones leaving …. I understood! Will I miss some, YES, but I’m much more excited about the new ones coming in!!! Let’s start with the colors that will be leaving …

You knew that the 2016-18 Colors were leaving, but with the color revamp … we have a few more. Don’t be sad about those leaving, you still have time to stock up but Don’t forget your INK REFILL!!

I thought I would miss Elegant Eggplant – until they announced “which one’s were coming BACK” … yes, you heard me correctly! My favorite … Oh My Gosh, I can’t wait to tell you … BLACKBERRY BLISS!!!! I am so excited, I LOVE this color ❤  And Mossy Meadow!! Glad they’re back … here are the rest of the returning colors!!

It’s been about 5 years since we had a color update and 8 years since Stampin’ Up! has done a revamp like we’re seeing now.  I’m excited … the colors are current, fresh and really look good together!  While I’m at it … Let’s look at the new 2018-19 In Colors and NEW Core Colors!

I love that Pineapple Punch!!   Here are both sets of In Colors along with the “Basics” …  these colors have been take out of our Neutrals line which made room for 3 new colors and a warm look in our Neutrals!

Here is the entire grouping of our Color Families … now you can see how beautifully they all coordinate.  Did you notice that Real Red is now in the Rich Regals? That is because our new colors give our Brights a “bright fresh look” … I love it!

I just couldn’t wait to share the new colors and the revamp with you.  This will give you time to pick up those colors that will be retiring and warm up to the beautiful new colors being introduced. I’m happy to see Blackberry Bliss, Mossy Meadow and Poppy Parade return and I can’t wait till you can see such colors like Granny Apple Green, Gorgeous Grape and the new Pineapple Punch … that even sounds yummy!!

I have more to share with you so stop back again as I will keep you posted! Till then, my Star’s and I wish you a terrific Tuesday! And let me know when you are ready to join us …

Thank you for joining me today!!

See you tomorrow ~

Guest Stamper: Lorraine Anthony Alvarado

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

I am back … and I have a guest stamper today! A fellow demonstrator 🙂

I took a few days off to attend our Stampin’ Up! CenterStage and OnStage events where I also celebrated my birthday.  I will share pictures, but for now we are not allowed due to the Spoiler Alert …

So until I can catch you up on my exciting weekend … I have a beautiful card that I just can’t wait to share with you! The minute I say it, I knew that I had to share it with you, however … I did not create this card, it was made by a fellow Stampin’ Up! demonstrator; Lorraine Anthony Alvarado who was kind enough to allow me to share her artwork with you.

Isn’t this darling! I love that Lorraine used the Jar stamp set and die to create a shaker card. She highlighted the jar by adding a mat behind it so it really pops and the cute little Lady Bugs add a wonderful pop of color.

You will notice that Lorraine created this card with the “Sharing Sweet Thoughts” stamp set that I have been promoting the last few days for a fundraiser to raise monies for the Ronald McDonald House Charities.  The money will help families stay in the housing so they can be close to their children with illnesses.

To support my Fundraiser “STAMP OUT THE DIVIDE” and bring families together during an illness, all you have to do is purchase the “Sharing Sweet Thoughts” Stamp set from me.

Thank you so much for stopping back, and I hope that you consider joining my Fundraiser “Stamp Out the Divide” … You purchase the stamp set, and Stampin’ Up! and I will make the donations!! It is that easy. Let’s keep our families together while their loved ones are fighting an illness.

Have a great day and enjoy the week ahead!

Sharing Sweet Thoughts

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Today I’d like to share “Sweet Thoughts” and offer a little challenge to you.  Our Sharing Sweet Thoughts stamp set is our Ronald McDonald House Charity Stamp set and I think you will fall in love with this one for many reasons …

For all the sweet things in life you wish you could bottle up and keep with you forever, this stamp set will help! The dextrous jar is just waiting to be filled with whatever inspires you!

Stampin’ Up! donates time and money to support Ronald McDonald House Charities. To date we’ve contributed over $1,000,000 to RHMC and their network of local RMHC Chapters. When you buy the Sharing Sweet Thoughts Stamp Set, we donate a portion of the proceeds to RMHC.

I can’t juggle but I love to share my passion of stamping, so my Fundraiser will be to sell the “Sharing Sweet Thoughts” stamp set. When you purchase this stamp set, Stampin’ Up! will donate $3 (from every stamp set sold) and I will match Stampin’ Up!s donation!! Now $6.00 per stamp set will be donated to the RMHC!! Can you imagine if 100 people purchase this stamp set from me … We could donate $600! Every $ contributes to overnight stays at the Ronald McDonald Charity House and keeps families together!

To support my Fundraiser “STAMP OUT THE DIVIDE” and bring families together during an illness, all you have to do is purchase the “Sharing Sweet Thoughts” Stamp set from me.

Let’s do this together … for children with illnesses and their families ❤

I will run this challenge until the stamp set retires on May 31st, 2018.

Families with sick children juggle so much, and now, you can stamp to show your support. Join me in my Fundraiser & raise money for the Ronald McDonald House Charities … all over the US!

Many families travel far from home and spend several weeks or months to get treatment for their seriously ill or injured children – a long time to be away or to divide a family. And, for children facing a serious medical crisis, nothing seems scarier than not having mom and dad close by for love and support. A Ronald McDonald House provides a place for families to call home so they can stay close by their hospitalized child at little to no cost.

To support my Fundraiser “STAMP OUT THE DIVIDE” and bring families together during an illness all you have to do is purchase the “Sharing Sweet Thoughts” Stamp set from me. I appreciate your support.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read through my blog thoroughly, and I hope that you consider joining my Fundraiser “Stamp Out the Divide” … You purchase the stamp set, and Stampin’ Up! and I will make the donations!! It is that easy. Let’s keep our families together while their loved ones are fighting an illness.

Have a happy and healthy day ~

Technology is for the Birds!!

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

I hope you are having a wonderful week! Yesterday mine just got better … my daughter called and told me that my order had arrived – my new battery charger for my camera!! I am back in business and so excited to finally share a new card creation with you!

I have chosen the stamp set Flying Home … I don’t know about you, but I am so ready for spring, and with spring comes the birds singing their beautiful songs. When I saw this stamp set in the Occasions catalog, I knew I had to have it … I love watching the birds!

I used the Water Color pencils and Blender pens to do the coloring on my bird houses. I was so happy when Stampin’ Up! brought these back, they are so simple to use and still give you that soft watercolor look (with no mess) and I think they are perfect for newer stampers because it gives you a lot of color choices without a big cost investment.

I stamped the center birdhouse twice, colored it and cut it out and then popped it up to add some dimension. I used the Lots of Labels Framelits dies to cut out my birdhouses and the Bermuda Bay mat used for color. This entire piece was also popped up!!

This is a great shot of all the dimension created using the Stampin’ Dimensionals. You can also see the cute little Metallic Enamel Shapes I used on my card … 2 round ones to ground my focal point and one heart that was added to my greeting.

The greeting comes from the “Label Me Pretty” stamp set and was punched out with the 1-3/8″ Scallop Circle punch.

I also added some texture by embossing my Chocolate Chip cardstock with the “Pinewood Planks” Dynamic Embossing Folder. I’ve been just waiting to use that folder and I think it works perfect with this card!

Feels good to be back creating and sharing! Hope you enjoyed.

Thanks so much for stopping back, and enjoy your day.

Only 2 days remaining to enjoy the Sale-a-bration benefits of FREE Stamps / Goodies!

Today’s Suggested Stampin’ Supply List …

More Sale-A-Bration Samples ….

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

I hope you had a wonderful weekend. It was a bit nippy out but the sunshine was so nice.

Did you enjoy taking a look at the Sale-A-Bration cards again? I show them at all my stampin’ parties, they ladies love ’em!! So today we will revisit a few more of my favorites ….

First is the Mixed Medallion Card Kit; a big hit with our newer stampers because the kit is pre-cut and ready to go, and it comes with full instructions …

Here are all the goodies that are included in the kit, the embellishments and envelopes …

I thought it would be fun to create something a little different with the kit, so I made a “treat pouch”. What a cute little gift this is for co-workers, your kids … anyone!

Here is a peek on the inside  …

This next one is a “WOW” item, the Springtime Foils Specialty Paper!! So, so much you can do with this amazing designer paper, keep it simple like the first card ….

or break out your Stampin’ Blends and create something fabulous! This is the second of the four patterns in the paper pack…..

The third pattern is the stripes. On the first card I kept it simple and paired it with the Petal Pair embossing folder …

On the second card using the stripe … I sponged color onto the stripe pattern and colored the embossing with the Stampin’ Blends. It almost appears as if we’ve gone from the silvery chill of winter to the warm colors of spring ….

And the forth pattern in the Springtime Foils Designer Series paper is the polka dots …. and more sponging!

And this brings me into our next Sale-A-Bration item; Epic Celebrations. If you have teenagers (or someone who thinks he is) this if a really fun stamp set to have in your collection …

This one I did for the budding young women in our lives, and some encouragement (we all need that) it’s so cute …

Let me squeeze in one more card, this one is for the rocker in your family! I used the Wood Textures Designer Series paper stack for my guitars, and yes, I cut them out by hand (fussy cutting as known to fellow demonstrators!) lol

The splatter effect was created with the use of the NEW Brusho paint powder and spritzer! So simple and fun to use and pairs so nicely with this stamp set.

This stamp set; Epic Celebrations, Springtime Foil Designer Series paper and the Mixed Medallion Card kit are all FREE with a $50 purchase during Sale-a-bration.  Hope you enjoyed the re-cap of these awesome products.

Thank you so much for hanging with me today!

Hope your Monday is a good one ~
