Perennial Essence Suite

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Today I’m going to share with you another peak into the new catalog. Oh … the new catalog! Coming to a mailbox near you, or join me at an upcoming event and pick one up, either way … they should be here in 4 – 6 weeks.

So as we turn the pages of this catalog, you will find the beautiful Perennial Essence Product Suite.  Stampin’ Up! did something new this year … instead of writing in “all” the items in the suite that you felll in love with, you can now just write in a single number and get it all.  Plus, the bundle numbers are still available or purchase your items separately.

I’m going to share three cards today, we will start with the basic of the three …

The beautiful Floral Essence stamp set is laced with pretty flowers and wonderful greetings, and coordinates with the Perennial Flower punch.  I hope you also noticed the stunning designer paper; Perennial Essence with it’s Hand-painted impressionistic imagery.

Our second image as the first has stamped onto the Perennial Essence Vellum cardstock and punched out to create these lovely flowers which adorn the hand stamped images on the whisper white.

Here we added another flower and the bakers twine. This one (above) is the Make -n- Take that we did at our OnStage event.  Now if you really want to see how you can jazz it up … just look at this!

On our final card we used the beautiful vellum instead of the cardstock, it gives you a warmer tone to the card.  All three are beautiful … what level of stamping do you do?  Beginner, casual or an avid stamper … have to have it all!  Yup, that would be me! That’s why I became a demonstrator, wanted the discount.  Stayed because of all the wonderful relationships I have built

I hope you enjoyed the cards today, more for you tomorrow.

Have yourself a fabulous Friday!

OnStage 2019 Insights and Sneak Peeks …

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

I am back today with some more fun from our OnStage event and more sneak peeks! I hope you got your “Retirement Lists” downloaded from my blog yesterday, let me know if you have any questions … I just want to remind you that some items to very fast, and when they are gone, they are gone.

OK … On to the FUN!!! On Monday I shared some insight into our leaders event “CenterStage” so today I want to share with you the main event that I get to share with my team!  Since I registered the day before, I got the chance to set up our table while my team registered …

Stampin’ Up! already had some “fun” on our tables, clip boards with some fun games to play and a box full of goodies for our Make -n- Takes!  You will notice a few extra goodied that I set up for my team (and the ladies that were at the same table… I brought treats for all).

The treats that I brought also had a message for my team: The chocolate “Stars” represent their dreams and goals, the “carrots” represent the incentives available while working towards your goals, the chocolate “coins” represent the rewards received when they achieve their goals … the “Star” lollipop represents our team “The Star’s by Design” and the mints are because I think my team members are worth a “mint”!  The chocolate pretzels? Well those are just a treat … because they are worth it!!

Let me introduce you to the Star’s team members who were able to join me … We missed the rest of our team who could not make this event (but there will be another in November … and we’d like you to join us too!)

From Left to Right: Becky, me, Kathy and Connie

At OnStage we get a bag (you can see it on the table… a NEW In-Color) filled with goodie; a stamp set, pens, a journal, a punch, some file folders and more … awesome stuff for our business/hobby.  During the day we watch great demonstrations by our fellow demonstrators highlighting new products AND we get to play with some of the new stuff ourselves with Make -n- Takes.

Here is Connie and one of our table mates, Jane …

Well now … I can’t tease you with pictures of us doing Make -n- Takes and not show you at least one of the cards we made.  This one is from the new “Bird Ballad” product suite. A suite is a grouping of products that coordinate and will take the guess work out of what you need to create projects with the core stamp set.

This product suite brings nature to your doorstep with these sweet birds, and the designer paper has a soft watercolor effect. Here is our Make -n- Take …

The birds on the branch is too cute and reminds me of a bunch of friends gathering, my coloring could be improved but I was quite happy that I actually did my Make -n- Takes this time. My favorite … the soft blue background and the hand colored birds and blossoms on the designer paper is so pretty.

I will be back tomorrow with more sneak peeks and samples. Let me just say, this catalog does not disappoint! See you tomorrow.

Thanks so much for joining me today.

Retiring Lists ….

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

I decided to put a temporary hold on our OnStage antics because the Retirement List came out yesterday, however there seems to be a bit of confusion because they are listed many stamp sets not because the actual set is leaving but the “wood” and “clear” mounts are being discontinued for the new Cling Mount.

It’s that time of year when we have to say goodbye to some products, but we can help them go out with a bang! These products may be leaving our store, but make sure they aren’t out of your life! Whether it’s a die or a bundle that you’ve been waiting to buy, now’s the perfect time to add it to your collection.

Edited Occasions Catalog Retiring List

Edited Annual Catalog Retirement List

Please remember that a retiring “bundle” does not necessarily mean the stamp set or dies are retiring … Bundles do not carry over, so if you want to save the 10%, you would need to purchase it before June 3rd (or while supplies last).

If you have any questions, please contact me below or through email: lindaluvs2stamp@aol.com  I would be happy to help you make the best decision for you.

All week long I will be sharing highlights and sneak peeks from the upcoming catalog… I will see you there!

Thanks for sharing a part of your day with me, I love the visits!

Home Again and with Sneak Peaks!!

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

First let me say “Welcome” to my new blog followers and “Thank You” for the On-line Orders and to my avid readers for hanging in while I was gone to our Stampin’ Up! OnStage event in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  We left a beautiful day and drove into snow … and came home from a beautiful day and drove back into snow!!

You know what … it didn’t matter because we came home with the new catalog in hand, and a lot of ideas! I will be sending out catalogs to you as soon as they allow us … mid-May!

My activities started Friday night where Stampin’ Up! hosts a nice dinner and training event for their Leaders…

This little photo op was taken outside of the hall … Do you notice the beautiful flowers on the board. Uh ha … those little beauties are a sneak peak into the new stamp sets you’ll find in the upcoming catalog!  If you like Magnolia’s you will fall in love with this product suite… more to come!

Our dinner tables were adorned with the beautiful bouquets of flowers and we were treated to an amazing buffet.  Jamician Jerk Chicken, another on I don’t remember and a beautifully prepared steak. Food was great and the desserts… should have taken a picture! lol

When we get there, we stop by the booth to pick up our bags filled with goodies…

Love the bag! And tucked inside were a bounty of goodies and these were just a few! A brand new stamp set … that coordinates with our current Daisy stamp set, how sweet is that, and some file folders that showcase another new product suite! I’ll be sharing more about that tomorrow!

As a CenterStage achiever … we also got a special gift, a leather clutch which I forgot to take a picture of, but let me say that it is full and I am already using it!! And that is how we ended our evening. It was great to see old friends, make some new ones and enjoy a wonderful evening with stamping sisters and the Stampin’ Up! staff.

Before I go today, I want to share one more sneak peek… I know this one is going to thrill one of my stamping friends because she loves peacocks! This product suite is AMAZING!!! The designer paper and new foils in some of the new colors… WOW.

From the papers to the embellishments, these rich and beautiful colors are definitely going to be on your wish list… The ribbon is a two-tone and the Rhinestones are fabulous! I can’t wait to get my hands on them!!! I would love to send you a wish list and a catalog when they are released … just make sure that you are on my customer list (requires a purchase) and I’ll get one in your hands … FREE of course!!

By the way … I would love to have you join me at any of these fabulous Stampin’ Up! events, and proud to have you on my team! Let’s chat!!  I’ll be back tomorrow to share more of the new catalog and my team tomorrow.

Thank you so much for checking back in with me today, it’s great to be back.

Have an awesome day.

On the Road Again … Lillypad Lake

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Today I’m hitting the road and heading to OnStage – April 2019!! I’m so excited, especially after that nasty attack of snow we just had!! YIKES.  It’s pretty much gone around my area and my thoughts are for warmer days and sunny skies.  Today’s card will take you there … Lillypad Lake.  To me, there is nothing like sitting by the water at watching the sparkles as the sun dances across the water. On a boat wouldn’t be bad either!!

I began by sponging a little Balmy Blue onto the front of the card. We then stamped the water with Bermuda Bay … adding a little of the Balmy Blue into the water!  Using a clean sponge … dab a little Crumb Cake near the bottom to create your sand.  Now you have your sky, sand and water. Nice.

Next we stamped the sail boats, colored with the Night of Navy and Real Red Markers, and then they were die cut with the coordinating Lakeside Framelits Dies.  You can bundle these to save 10% on your purchase.  We finished off our day at the beach with the adirondack chair from the Seasonal Layers Thinlits and my friend … Wink of Stella.  Stella gives us that sparkle that dances across the water … oh, I can’t wait for summer!! lol

Thank you for joining me today on my road trip to warmer days.

Come back and visit tomorrow, till then, enjoy your day.

If you liked what you saw today, you can purchase any of the items I used to create my card from my on-line store… just click any of the items and It will take you there. Thanks!

Time to say Good-bye …

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

As many of you know, I am headed to Minneapolis this weekend for the Stampin’ Up! OnStage event!!  This is where we will get the NEW 2019-20 Annual Catalog and a first hand look at some of the new products.  I am so excited … I saw a sneak peek of the cover from demonstrators who are at the OnStage Live in Auckland, New Zealand!!! I found my first new love!!

But … with the new, means there will be some of our favorites leaving including some very standard products we use everyday.  Although they have been tried and true for me, I’m not mourning the loss, because I’m excited to see what will be coming down the road.

First up … Our Cutting . There will not be a replacement in the new catalog but there is a new product in the works and will be released when it is up to Stampin’ Up!s quality standards (I LOVE THAT).

The same goes for our BigShot … yes it is leaving BUT there will be dies and embossing folders that remain!! Wooo Hooo.  You know I’ll be shouting that from the roof tops when this new product is announced.

Don’t forget your retiring In-Colors … get those BEFORE the Retirement List comes out on the 15th of April.  I will have all then news for you when that arrives as well.

Sorry I put today’s card on hold … but I felt this was important news that I had to share.  I will be back tomorrow with my “Fun in the Sun” card!!

Till then, have a great day and thank you for stopping by today.

Floral Statements … Thanks

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Well, well, well … how did you like to two “Hello” cards? Two different styles but pretty easy to recreate.  Today I have another card from the Floral Statements for you featuring the “Thanks” greeting.

Yesterday cards were done with the Aqua Painter and a watercoloring technique.  On my card today I used the Stampin’ Blends to color my floral piece ….

Wow … right!  I stamped my image with the Momento Ink pad because I knew I wanted to use the Stampin’ Blends today.  I choose the Daffodil Delight and Old Olive Combo’s for my coloring fun.  I love the way they make me look like an artist! lol

Once I was done with my coloring I matted my work with Daffodil Delight Cardstock … and wrapped it all up with a bow.  The ribbon is actually wrapped around the entire card front.  Then I added a touch of the Daffodil Delight Gingham designer paper behind it.

My next step was to emboss the Whisper White with the Subtle Dynamic Embossing Folder .. Oh my gosh, I love how “subtle” the texture is on this folder. Love it!  And now to complete my card, a little sparkle from my “Wink of Stella” and then I mounted everything onto my Daffodil Delight card base.

Tomorrow I have a card for you that will make you yearn for warm summer days!  Meet you back here then!

Thanks for sharing a part of your day with me today.

If you liked what you saw today, you can purchase any of the items I used to create these cards from my on-line store… just click any of the items and It will take you there. Thanks!

Two for Tuesday: Floral Statements

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Happy Tuesday … and I have a two for Tuesday for you today!  I chose the Floral Statements stamp sets … one of those that I just had to have but have not sat down to play with it until now.  What was I waiting for … wooo!  I have two different looks for you and I’m using the “Hello” stamp from the set.

My first card is going to be pretty easy and monochromatic; Old Olive and Whisper White …

Once I inked the stamp in Old Olive and stamped it onto the Whisper White cardstock, I grabbed my Aqua Painter and added a touch of Old Olive Watercoloring onto the leaves.  Then I just colored my flowers in with my buddy “Wink of Stella”.  Love the sparkle on the card and it really creates a stunning effect!  I matted my greeting with Old Olive then popped it up with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Now let’s see what it looks like with a punch of color.  The color pallet for the second card is …

I have a passion for pink and grey so I decided that would be next on my agenda!  I stamped my flowers in Basic Grey and that will also be the base of the card.  I knew I wanted to add a pop of color so I went to the fun “Tropical Escape” Designer paper.  It is the mat for my greeting and the pink pop of color.

Since my Aqua Painter was handy, I again gently colored in the leaves with the Shaded Spruce and then did the flowers in Blushing Bride.  Any you know what came next … that’s right, Wink of Stella. I just love that sparkle, can’t help it.

Soooo… what do you think? Fun right! Well stop by tomorrow because I have the second stamp from this set for you to see.

Till then, have a great day, and thanks for stopping by.

If you liked what you saw today, you can purchase any of the items I used to create these cards from my on-line store… just click any of the items and It will take you there.  Thanks!

Happy Birthday to Me …

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

I have a very quick post for you today and I’m sharing one of my “Birthday Cards” with you!  The card was created by my sister Rita …  The 2 big flowers are from “Fabulous Florets”, and the script is from “Hugs & Wishes”.

The stamps may be retired but I know many of you have these stamp sets, so I decided to share.  I will be back tomorrow with my Two for Tuesday, so I will meet back up with you then!

Thanks for stopping by … and actually, my birthday was actually yesterday.

Simply Sunday: Petal Palette Card

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

I hope you are enjoying your weekend and I thank you for taking time out of your day to stop and visit my blog.  Today I have a sweet -n- simple card for you, that I created using the Petal Palette stamp set (Annual Catalog – page 119) and the coordinating Petals & More Thinlits Dies.

I used the monochromatic style when creating this card which is done in the Balmy Blue …

My base is Whisper White as was the oval for my greeting and the flowers that were die cut with the Petals & More Thinlits Dies.  I don’t know about you but I feel in love with the Gingham Gala 6″ X 6″ Designer Series Paper … it’s just so “springy”! Reminds me of a warm sunny day. I chose the smaller gingham side (other is wider) and then backed it with Balmy Blue.

The oval was cut from the Stitched Shapes Framelits Die and stamped in Balmy Blue.  As I stated earlier … I die cut the flowers with the Petals & More Thinlits Dies and colored them with the Balmy Blue and Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blends Combo packs.  They were then popped up using mini dimensionals and embellished with the clear faceted gems (so pretty).

I think the stitching adds the perfect touch to the gingham and those clear faceted gems really make the little flowers pop! Cute yet quick … that’s just how we have to have it sometimes!!

Again, thanks for stopping in today!

I wish you a beautiful Sunday ~

Today’s Stampin’ Supply List …

Stunning Sparkling Rose Card …

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Today I have a lovely … sparkling card to share with you today, and on a budget!  One of my all time favorite framelits is the Rose Garden dies.  You can now find this die set in the Clearance Rack. You don’t want to overlook anything on the clearance rack because it has some awesome deals, and if you missed them before, now is your chance to get them at an extraordinary discount.

I cut the rose out of the Rose glimmer paper and the “pink” inner rose out of Blushing Bride cardstock.  I then covered the entire piece of Blushing Bride with the Tombo Glue and adhered my glimmer paper onto the pink … Now What? You Say.  Have your Dazzling Diamonds handy and dip your rose assmbley into the glitter. Rub gently to secure glitter to your glued area.  Now you have a beautiful two-tone Rose.

Hold Onto Hope Stamp Set … Guest Stamper: Peggy

Hello Stampin’ Friends,

With just around the corner I thought I would share a beautiful card that was created by my friend and fellow demonstrator, Peggy.  This was a swap card from our last Spring Stamping Retreats and I do believe it was the winner! Our guests swap and then vote on which of the cards they like best … we have lots of fun and so many different people have had the honor of being chosen “Best Card”… it’s hard to choose!!

The color pallet for this card is the lovely Pool Party and Bermuda Bay with a touch of white to pull your eye to the focal point … the cross. Peggy layered the cross which creates it beauty and texture.

She created her card using the “Z Fold” technique … so fun and not to hard to do.  I will share one of mine in the next couple of days along with step by step instructions so you can recreate these cool cards.

There are several different ways to do the Z-Fold and it’s all based on the dimensions of the “Z” that you are using. We are actually making 2 different styles of Z-Fold cards at my Spring Stamping Retreat (but I can’t show you those till we get back).

I hope you enjoyed Peggy’s card, it is so pretty and so fitting for this time of year. The Hold onto Hope stamp set and coordinating Cross of Hope Framelits dies are a nice addition to your stamp collection. I purchased mine to go with the Ribbon of Courage stamp set.  FYI … I have the name wrong on my picture!! That’s for the framelits … Hold Onto Hope Stamp Set is correct.

Thank you so much for joining me today.

Enjoy your day, and I’ll see you tomorrow!

TODAY’S STAMPIN’ SUPPLY LIST ….

Retiring 2017-19 In-Colors… Card Showcase

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

I have a quick post today and wanted to share a few samples of our retiring 2017-19 In-Colors. I’ve been talking about it for a while now but I just didn’t realize how time flies…  Seems like yesterday they announced the new In-Colors at our OnStage event … I attended the Shreveport, LA event (and it was fun!!)

The Colors are Lemon-Lime Twist, Fresh Fig, Powder Pink, Tranquil Tide (my favorite) and Berry Burst… These beautiful cards was made with our In-Colors and coordinating Designer Paper – Cardmaking can’t get easier than that.

I have a few more samples that were quickly created with some simple stamping and a few punches but it truly highlights the 5 new In-Colors.  Aren’t these just the cutest?  I believe the stamp set used to create these cards has retired but you could easily switch it out with the adorable stamp set “A Good Day” which can be found on page 42 of our Annual Catalog and the Pretty Label punch.

I hope you enjoyed today’s card samples, and don’t forget to order your supplies “before” the retirement list hits the “live” stage, because they will go FAST!  The Ink Refills sell out in minutes … so I suggest to order yours now.

Have yourself a wonderful day … and thank you so much for stopping by ~

Aprons for every Occasion …

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Warmer weather is on it’s way and I’ve got some cute cards that you will be able to create lovely aprons for every occasion you can think of with the Aprons of Love Stamps and coordinating dies.  Aprons symbolize so many things: love, dedication, and caring for others. The recipients of your projects will feel thoroughly appreciated.

The stamp set includes 24 photopolymer stamps with * Suggested clear blocks (not included): a, b, e, g. You’ll create die-cut aprons with utensils in record time with 17 Framelits dies to use with your Big Shot.

Did you know that blacksmiths wear aprons? As do chefs, butchers, chemists, and more! This is all to say: the Apron of Love bundle is an incredibly versatile set that can be used for just about anyone!

Whether you want to make a Father’s Day card for the grill-master in your life or send friendly sentiments to your favorite baking buddy, this bundle is a fabulous “anytime” gift.

I just think these are the cutest gifts!! And the cards are cute too … there is so much you can do with this bundle, and it will be great for our upcoming summer (if we ever see spring!).

Here is a cute little crafting box that I created with the Aprons for my Annual Spring Stamping Retreat last year … they greeted my attendees when they came into our stamp room to get started. It was stuffed with some fun embellishments …

Thank you so much for stopping by today ~

Enjoy your day!
