Wow … I am loving the way this card mash up turned out! I took the Stargazing Designer Paper and teamed it up with the In the Moment stamp set. I had mentioned in one of my YouTube videos that I thought these two would pair nicely …. What do you think?
I knew I’d be using the image of the lady that is looking out towards (whatever you choose) and today it’s the Stargazing paper. I picked the pattern that include the blues and pinks … I really wanted her image to pop off the page.
I felt that she actually makes the best sense and easiest to “fussy cut” … although, with a steady hand and an exacto knife, you probably could use the lady looking out the window as well.
I actually picked out which of the Stargazing patterns I wanted to use first, I wanted to make sure there was plenty of stars and a little bit of color. Then I cut it down to 3-7/8″ x 5-1/8″ so I could mat it with Basic White that measured 4 x 5-1/8″. I chose white so that the greeting, her shirt and the stars would coordinate nicely. The card base is Night of Navy 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″.
I used the Stampin’ Blends to color her … I used the Light and Dark Pecan Pie for her hair, and the Light and Dark Berry Burst for her hat and her skirt. Her shirt has a touch of Light Smoky Slate (only by the lines) and then I smoothed it out with the “Color Lifter”. Her arms are the #800 from the Natural Tones. The wine is also Berry Burst … sounds yummy too!
The wood deck was colored with #100, #300 and #500 from the Natural Tones … You will find these Stampin’ Blends on page 136 in the Annual Catalog.
I glued the bottom of her skirt and the deck directly to the cardfront and then popped up the head, arms and shirt to give it some dimension and texture. The greeting was stamped with Memento Ink and die cut from the “Sending” die … and then I used the small round black brad from the Round and Square Brads. I love using brad because I never have to worry if they will fall off my card!
The greeting was popped up too. Then to finish off my card, I added 5 of the Iridescent Rhinestone around the stars. This card was one of the ideas I shared in my video so I thought I would bring it to life … and I really love the way it turned out.
I may have to order more of this paper … and the sale ends at midnight tonight!

The front of the card is the vibrant floral pattern from the Bee Mine Designer Series Paper. This paper not only adds a burst of color but also sets the perfect backdrop for our birthday celebration.
At the center stage, our adorable bee friends are highlighted courtesy of the Perennial Postage dies. These fussy cut bees create a charming focal point, bringing the theme to life. But what’s a bee without its shimmer? A touch of Wink of Stella on the bee wings adds a magical sparkle, elevating the whimsical vibe of the card.
While the card may be buzzing with bees, it’s all about sending heartfelt birthday wishes. To emphasize this, I’ve cut the card front short to prominently display the birthday greeting from the So Sincere stamp set. It’s all about making sure my recipient knows they’re being celebrated on their special day!
No birthday card is complete without a bit of sparkle! Besides the Wink of Stella on the wings, I’ve adorned my card with iridescent rhinestones, strategically placed to highlight the stamped birthday greeting. These little gems not only add a touch of elegance but also make the card truly shine.

Now let me show you how these 3 items work together like a beautifully choreographed dance. For both of my cards I am using the Largest of the rectangle dies (upper left-hand corner of picture above), this die cuts two ways. I started with a piece of Basic White cardstock cut to 5″ x 3 3/4″, as it cuts, it leaves you with two pieces … a frame and a second rectangle I’ll use on the “second” card. Let’s look at our framed design:
The designer paper in the back was cut to 5 1/4″ x 4″ so it would peek out from behind our frame. The beautiful bird was “fussy” cut from the designer paper and our greeting was Heat Embossed in white and embellished with the Iridescent Rhinestones … just a little bling for mama.
Here you will get a good feel on all the dimension this adds to your card …
Time to shift our creativity to the center piece of the large rectangle die cut. Let’s begin with some Misty Moonlight and our blending brushed for just a hint of color to highlight our birds. Our backdrop piece of designer paper also comes from Flight & Airy and was cut 3/4″ larger than the rectangle piece.
Our greeting, from the Heartfelt Hello stamp set was stamped with Misty Moonlight Ink and die cut from the smallest rectangle in our featured die set today: the Everyday Details Dies.

Our first card features the Reach for the Stars stamp set and the coordinating Thoughtful Expressions Dies, along with the vibrant patterns of the Just Kidding Designer Series Paper. This fun fold, known as the Book Binder Fun Fold, adds an interesting element to your card-making repertoire, especially because I have chosen to use the “kids reading books” as my focal point. Oh, card making can be so fun and clever!
The dimensions are posted in the video so if you missed them, grab your pencil and give it another watch. I love the Just Kidding Designer Series Paper, the colorful and whimsical designs will instantly add charm to your project.
Die-cut the greeting from the Reach for the Stars stamp set and our focal point (the children) using the Thoughtful Expressions Dies. This sentiment adds a touch of encouragement and positivity to your card. I embellished my card with Bakers Twine and the Blue Gems from the Tinsel Gems pack, adding a pop of texture and sparkle to your design.
My second card takes inspiration from the Stargazing Designer Series Paper, complemented by the endearing illustrations found in the Just Kidding Designer Series Paper. The focal point of this design is a charming illustration of a young boy in a wheelchair dressed as an astronaut, perfectly coordinated with the theme of exploration and adventure.
I selected a coordinating pattern from the Stargazing Designer Series Paper for the background of the card. The celestial motifs will set the stage for our astronaut-themed focal point. You’ll adhere the Just Kidding Designer Series Paper featuring the boy in the wheelchair onto the faux step … this adds dimension and visual interest to your card.
I also fussy cut out the one wheel and his head to create some fun dimension to our little astronaut! This card creation really is …out of this world.
You’ll also notice that I added the Iridescent Foil Gems to my project, which are not in the video. It just added to our celestial look and tied everything together.

In my last blog post I shared the “Double Box Fold” Card with you, but what do you do with the leftovers? You repurpose your leftover materials to craft a charming shaker card. If you’re a fan of recycling and getting creative with what you have on hand, this project is perfect for you! Are you ready to add an extra touch of love to your Valentine’s Day greetings?
Cut a piece of clear acetate sheet slightly larger than the opening of the leftover piece. Adhere it to the backside of the die-cut piece using adhesive, ensuring it covers the entire opening securely.
Carefully apply foam adhesive strips around the edges of the die-cut piece, creating a border around the acetate window. Make sure there are no gaps where the sequins could escape. Pour a generous amount of Loose Silver Sequins onto the center of your card base. Sprinkle in some hearts from the Sending Love Dies to add a romantic touch to your shaker card.
Now, carefully place the acetate-covered die-cut piece over the card base (centering it), and ensuring the sequins and hearts are securely trapped inside. Press down firmly on the edges to seal the shaker element.
Once your shaker portion is complete, it’s ready to add a greeting and embellish. Greeting comes from the Throughout the Year stamp set and die cut with the Everyday Details Dies. I glued a few of my sequins on the card front to embellish, and then embellished my embellishments by adding the Iridescent Rhinestones inside of them. I also add a couple hearts at the top for a pop of color and interest.
Now it’s ready to spread love and joy to your friends and family. Whether you’re mailing it to a loved one or hand-delivering it with a hug, this handmade creation is sure to bring a smile to their face. PS. Swap out the greeting for an All Occasion / Just Because I Care card!!

Unlike traditional flat cards, this fold features two box-like structures that pop up when the card is pulled from the envelope, allowing it to stand on it’s own creating a fun and interactive element.
I selected the Lighter than Air 6 x 6 Designer Paper. This paper collection features whimsical designs and vibrant and pastel colors, perfect for creating cheerful and uplifting cards. Choose a fun pattern to create an “elevating” look for your card… it is lighter than air! lol
I fussy cut an Air Balloon from the designer paper. For an extra special touch, I mounted the Air Balloon onto some Flirty Flamingo circle cut from the Everyday Details Die to create a focal point for my card. This adds dimension and visual interest to your design.
To add a pop of color and texture to your card, embellish with Rainbow Adhesive Backed Dots. These self-adhesive dots are perfect for adding a playful touch to your projects and come in a variety of pastel colors.
