Simply Sunday: Season’s Greetings

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Today I have another card created from the Snowflake Sentiments bundle. I have had many requests to showcase more than one card when doing the popular bundles.

I hope you got to see the “glamorous” Gold and Vanilla cards that I shared yesterday … oh so pretty! Today I’m using one of my favorite new In-Colors “Tranquil Tide” … all stamps and dies used today are again from the Snowflake Sentiments.

With the exception of the Oval Framelits and Stitched Shapes Framelits … these were used for the “Season’s Greetings” which comes in the bundle. I love the little swirls that come in this bundle – I used the Silver Foil for these, and the Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer paper for the snowflake.

Our designer paper comes from the “Delicate Daisy” paper. Hint… Hint … this is one of the designer papers that are currently on sale (Buy 3 / Get 1 Free).

The inside was stamped with this wonderful sentiment and with little swirl that are included in the bundle as well. I also created a matching envelope by using the snowflake stamp and the swirl.

Super Simple to create … just a little stamping and a few runs through the BigShot and you are ready for assembly.

Thank you so much for joining me this Sunday. Stop back tomorrow, I have a cute Christmas card that features 2 more of the dies (you haven’t seen) that are included in the Snowflake Sentiments bundle.

Enjoy your Sunday ~

Halloween Week: Meet me at the Gate!

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Today is my last post for “Halloween Week” … and I’ve saved the best for last! I’m using the Graveyard Gate bundle and this gate is extraordinary! I love it!!

Make sure you keep following my posts, because you will see this gorgeous gate many more times!!

I started by cutting my gate with the help of the Precision Base plate and the Die Brush … makes creating this detailed gate much easier. Once the gate closes … you must lock it, and that is done with the dies that are included in the bundle.

Next, I worked on my background. I began with Whisper White paper and a 1-1/4″ circle punch and used it as a mask for my moon.  I sponged Daffodil Delight around the moon, then Elegant Eggplant, and Night of Navy after that. When I removed my mask, a bright white moon showed above! I dabbed the sponge over the moon just a bit to make it look more realistic.

I then sponged the bottom of the card with the Archival Black ink… I did not wait till it was fully dry, I stamped my gravestones over the top using Craft Whisper White! The white picked up some of the colors from the other inks and created an aged gravestone … so cool!

Here is a sneak peek at the inside… all done with one ink pad, just stamping off the ink on the gate so it looks lighter.

This entire bundle is so much fun, and don’t think that it’s only for Halloween. Make sure you follow my blog because I will be sharing more ideas from this great bundle.

There’s only 1 more month to Halloween so I shared the list of ingredients that I used to create this card.

Thanks so much for walking through the graveyard with me. I hope you enjoyed the techniques I used to create this card.

Happy Friday and enjoy your weekend!

Halloween Week: Treat Boxes

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Today I have a quick -n- sweet little treat for you today! I’m showcasing our Acetate Boxes! These boxes are a quick -n- easy way to share a sweet little treat with a neighbor or loved one.

Our first little box is found on page 195 of the Annual Catalog and is perfect to share a yummy treat with. The belly band around the box is from the “Halloween Nights” Designer paper  … even the cute little pumpkin was cut from another sheet/pattern of the designer paper.

The larger acetate box can be found in the Holiday Catalog on page 13, and holds a little bit bigger type of treat! I’m sure that you can think of all types of goodies to put inside. Again the belly band is from the “Halloween Nights” Designer paper … and so is our cat. The cat is actually punched out with our new cat punch, also found in the Holiday Catalog on page 53.

So if you’ve got some specials little ghouls or goblins that are expecting a Halloween treat … make them something special in just a wink of the eye!

Thank you for joining me today for this little treat …

Have a great day!

Here is a list of the supplies used in today’s projects. Just click on them for more information or to begin shopping. Thank You!

Thankful for my Coffee!!

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Happy Friday!! Today is the last of my Paper Pumpkin Alternative projects … time to move on because there is soooo much to show you, but I must say “this kit has been so easy to work with!”

So … for my last project I just had to incorporate this kit with one of the hottest new bundles in the catalog … the Coffee Café Bundle!!

Always “thankful” for my coffee! I used the Coffee Break Designer Series Paper as my background. The series of leaves were all stamped with the leaf stamp included in the kit … I just simply dragged the tip of the ink spot over the center of the stamp so only the veins showed.

The cup was cut from the “Pillow Box” included in the Paper Pumpkin kit. I really love the embossing on the pillow box and I centered it so it would be visible.

The greeting and tag also come from the kit. I added a strip of gold behind my cup and leaves to accent the gold strip on the tag.  Really quite simple … and fun to make.

Let me know if you have any questions about Paper Pumpkin… I’d be more than happy to answer any questions you may have.

Thanks for dropping in on me today.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Eastern Palace: Makes me Smile!

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Today I’m going to share with you a beautiful card I created using the Eastern Palace Product Suite. This is a never before seen card … and by that I mean, I’ve done 3 stamping sessions using this bundle!

I have never held 3 events using the same bundle before, with that said, it definitely shows how versatile this bundle really is!!

Let’s begin with the Eastern Palace Cardstock packet … I used the Dapper Denim as card base, you will also see a strip of the Denim and Tranquil Tide running across the card front, topping one of the beautiful designs of the Eastern Palace Designer Paper.

The pretty elements were created with the same cardstocks listed above, the Eastern Palace Thinlit Dies and the Gold Vinyl Stickers. The touch of Gold Glimmer Paper and the Gold Faceted Gems really make these elements POP!!

The beautiful greeting “To think of you is to Smile” comes in the stamp set that comes in the bundle.  This stamp set has several great phrases that can be used over and over again.

I am going to offer you the same special I offered my other classes … if you purchase the 145308 – Eastern Beauty Bundle (stamps & dies – Save 20%) the 144148 – Eastern Palace Cardstock pack, the 144147 Designer Paper and the 144141 Gold Faceted Gems …. Then I will send you the Eastern Gold Vinyl Stickers FREE, plus a Virtual Rewards Point. This offer is valid through September 2nd…

Click on the button below & you’ll be directed to the Eastern Palace!

Here is another sample, and if you go back in my posts … you’ll find plenty more. Don’t miss the one that is shown in the beginning of this post & shown with the stamps & dies.

Let me know if you have any questions! Thank you!!

Have a wonderful Wednesday ~

Simply Sunday: Thinking of You

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Today I want to share with you a beautiful card that I made for my “Eastern Palace Suite Card Class” last week.

With just the Eastern Beauty Bundle (pg.19 in our Annual Catalog) and the Designer Specialty Paper … you can create this stunning Gold card in just minutes.

Let’s begin with the base … it’s the Dapper Denim for our In-Color line and goes beautifully with the Gold.  The Gold specialty paper comes from the Eastern Palace Specialty Designer Series Paper.

Our square piece, which is the center piece of our card was adorned with the large starburst Vinyl sticker and then was topped with a floral piece cut from the Eastern Medallions Thinlits Die.

The greeting comes from the Eastern Beauty stamp set and highlighted with one of the circle stamps … both done in the coordinating Dapper Denim ink.

The card was finished off with the beautiful NEW Metallic-Edge Ribbon in Gold! It is even prettier in “real life” vs the photos.

The entire “Eastern Palace Suite” coordinates so beautifully and is easy to work with. In fact … this was the 3rd class I’ve done with this suite – that to me shows true versatility!

I have the items listed below … you can click on them for more information about the product, or to begin your shopping experience. If you need any help … please let me know.

Thank you for sharing a part of your Sunday with me.  I’ll be back tomorrow with a Sneak Peek from the new Holiday Catalog!

Have a wonderful day ~

Birthday Party Stampin’ Style…

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Another fun class last night with another group of fabulous ladies!  We made cards from the Birthday Memories Suite! The stamp set, dies and Designer paper all coordinate and make creating cards easy!!

I had to have a special little treat for everyone when they arrived, so I found some petite birthday cakes and presented them as if it were their birthday …

We learned how to combine the stamping with the dies, the dies with the  designer paper and the stamping with the designer paper.

On this card we went back to basics and stamped our background using the Pacific Point ink on the Pacific Point paper using the Surprise stamp in our bundle.

The bear was fussy cut but many of the images on the designer paper can be cut out with the use of the dies. We highlighted our birthday bear with the use of the Oval Framelits Collection.

This is an awesome bundle to add to your collection if you are always making birthday cards for the kids or grandkids! Keep watching because I’ll be sharing a cute card that will give you another reason to have it!!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Birthday Memories Suite …

Hello Stampin” Friends ~

I love the new Birthday Memories Product suite … and with all my grandkids, it’s no wonder!! The fun colorful images with a touch of nostalgia will tug at anyone’s heart strings …

This week I am hosting my class (sorry, it’s filled to capacity) but I will be sharing more projects for everyone to enjoy. One of the great things about this bundle is the coordinating dies not only fit some of the stamped images but images on the Designer paper too!!

The cake, the fox, the dog, balloons and more can be cut directly out of the designer paper.

Here is a cute little treat bag …

Stop back tomorrow and I’ll have some tips for you to easily create this cute little bag!

Till then, have a great day!

Simply Sunday: Coffee with a Friend

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Don’t you just love the smell of fresh brewing coffee? Oooo … I do and what’s better than that, is to sit back with a friend enjoying a lovely conversation and a cup of coffee!

Today’s card evokes those feelings for me … the old fashioned coffee pot, our “Happiness” greeting and the corrugated heart ties it all together.

I used the cute dotted paper from the Coffee Break Designer Series paper for my background. In keeping with that theme, I used circle dies and punches to create my focal point of the card.

The coffee pot and cup were cut out of another pattern from our designer paper and then stamped our greeting omitting some of the wording.

The second half of the verse actually was stamped on the inside of the card and a little heart added to tie into the front design of our card.

The card was a simple to make as it will be to pick up the phone and invite your friend over for some coffee and good conversation, because Happiness really is coffee shared with a friend

Thanks for stopping by today, I hope yours is a good one.

Coffee Breaks and Babies …

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

I’m back … been very busy! Had a fun “Coffee Break” class with another group of fabulous ladies!! I have a cute card to share with you.

Also been up at the hospital … it’s OK, in fact it’s awesome! My granddaughter delivered a sweet little boy yesterday!! I’m GG again! Here we are …

He’s not too happy with everyone snapping pictures! He didn’t even get his bath yet!! So after he got cleaned up, his mommy put him in a cute little outfit …

Today after work I will be picking up his big brother (2 yrs. old) so they can formally meet and hang out!!

Time for a coffee break … We began with a simple card that turned out so cute! We began with the Coffee Break Designer Series Paper … this pattern is so fun and really let’s you know it’s all about the coffee!

We also stamped and cut out the cup and the lid. The little cup gripper was die cut and it actually dies the embossing at the same time …

Our little greeting is stamped in Garden Green and is attached to the grip. We also used the Corrugated Elements to say “Hi” and to add a little touch of fun and texture.

This is really a fun set to use and is for much more than a “coffee” bundle!

Thank you for joining me today!

Have a fabulous Friday ~

Simply Sunday: Happiness Is …

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

As promised I’m back to share my Simply Sunday card from the Coffee Café Bundle. This is a fun set to work with!

My background comes from 2 of the different patterns from the Coffee Break Designer Series paper. There are so many cute patterns in this series it was hard to pick which ones I wanted to use … guess that means I have to make more cards!

The greeting  is from the stamp set but I ued my Pear Pizzazz and Early Espresso Markers to color just the part of the stamp that I wanted to use as my greeting! Cool right!

I cut out the greeting using the Stitched Shapes Framelits and then matted it with Early Espresso and Pear Pizzazz ovals from the Layering Ovals Framelits.

I added 3 little hearts to draw your eye around the card … these come from the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits! I tied up this card with a pretty little white bow which compliments the white in both of the designer papers.

Thanks for taking a little break today to check out my blog … hope you enjoyed my card!

Hope you can kick back and enjoy your Sunday.
