Two 4 Tuesday: Gift Card Holders

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

I’m excited to share 2 Gift Card holders with you today … one masculine, the other feminine.  As I was cleaning out some boxes in my back room, I discovered a whole bunch of “pre-cut” cards left over from one of my retreats … usually I try to make them all up, but this one got away from me!! That is when I decided to “re-create” some of them, so I’m starting with the Gift Card Holders!!

Here is the original Gift Card ….

I decided to use up some of the beautiful Tropical Oasis Designer Paper.  This paper will only be available for a short time!!  The Retirement list will be coming out in May sometime, and once this out … it’s till supplies last!

The designer paper is so pretty … I fussy cut the three little flowers out of the designer paper to embellish the greeting.  The greeting comes from the “Tropical Chic” stamp set.  I had not used that one yet or I would have bought the coordinating Timeless Tropical Bundle, but like you, I have to keep an eye on my purchases.

I used the “Stitched Nested Labels” Dies for my greeting, which creates a nice focal point on the card. I’m using the same card base and greeting die cuts for both cards.  The only thing I changed was the designer paper.

My masculine card features the “Country Club” Designer Series Paper …

I don’t really have anyone in my family that golfs, but that never stopped me from getting a designer paper!!  I love the plaid design … and if you flip it over, you’ll see a background of golf balls and tee’s!  Yes, I cut those out too … the tee’s that is. I actually used the 1/2″ circle punch to punch out the gold ball and then just gave it a little trim.  Much easier that trying to cut a perfect circle!!

My greeting for the masculine gift card holder comes from the “Peaceful Moments” stamp set. Hey … we have all these different stamp sets, might as well use them!!

The card front looks like it’s cut short to expose the inner card, but it’s actually scored and tucked inside to create the pocket for your gift cards / money.

I use a punch to take out a piece of the pocket so it’s easier for your fingers to grab that gift! lol  I prefer to use the Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere the sides of my holder … holds up better than the Snail Adhesive.

A quick reminder that I have Special for April … When you purchase through me, I will pay your taxes this month.  A $50 order (before Shipping/Tax) will get you the Virtual Rewards Point, your taxes paid, and I’ll send you the PDF instructions w/dimension on how to make the “Gift Card Holder”.

Let me know how I can help you!  Meanwhile, one last look at these cuties today …

With the Retirement List looming … that also means that the NEW CATALOG will soon be here.  All Stampin’ Friends who have purchased within the year, will automatically be sent or given a 2020-2021 Annual Catalog when released.  Make sure you are on my mailing list!!

Thank you for stopping by my blog today, it’s much appreciated.

Have a good day ~

Holiday Gift Tins …

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Looking for a cute way to “gift” your crafting friends … try one of our Copper Tea Tins!  You can decorate these metal tins any way you’d like … I used designer paper and a coordinating ribbon to decorate my tin.

Once decorated you can fill it with all sorts of goodies.  I filled mine with designer paper cut  4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ … I choose this size because with just a little trimming it’s the perfect card front.  I also added embellishments that coordinated with the paper.

There are so many items you could tuck into your tins … and they are cost effective as you get 4 tins for $15 / Perfect for friends, teachers gifts, a little something to the Sunday School teacher … anyone you just want to say thanks and show a little Christmas cheer too.

What would you tuck into your little Christmas Gift Tins? Hope this inspired you to create some fun gifting tins for your friends, family or co-workers … anyone!!

Thank you for joining me today, hope yours is a good one.

Hauntingly Cute Hand Sanitizer Gift Box

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Hope you had a nice weekend and got a chance to check out the Halloween projects I shared yesterday … a card and a treat box! For some, Halloween is all about the candy, for others, they like to hand out practical gifts.  What would you think about creating something that makes those “practical” gifts more fun?  I have a cute little wrap for hand sanitizers that is quick -n- easy to make.

Let’s begin with the outer wrap.  Start with an 11″ x 3″ piece of cardstock.  Score the cardstock at 4-7/8″ and 6-1/8″ … these measurements will ensure the insert sits nicely in the wrap.  Then punch both ends, this will be used to for your ribbon and to close the top.

Attach a piece of 2-3/4″ x 3-1/2″ of designer paper… I used Monster Bash. We finished off the top edge of the designer paper by attaching a piece of ribbon over it and trimming off the edges.

Stamp your greeting and cut out with a favorite die or punch.  I used the coordinating die from the Spooktacular Bash Bundle and pop it up with the new black Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Set your outer wrap aside for now … it’s time to create your inner (inset) piece.  Cardstock should measure 4-1/2 x 2-7/8″ … score at 1″ – 2″ – 3″ and 4″.  Using the smallest of the scallop ovals, place it between the the two score lines closest to the 1/2″ flap. (See photo below).

Once the whole is cut out, you will need to glue the 1/2″ flap to the opposite side to create a box.  The hole needs to be facing up … add glue to the bottom (opposite side with the hole) and set it into the outer wrap between the score lines.  Now you can tuck your Hand Sanitizer into the scallop oval hole.  The Bath & Body Works small hand sanitizers fit perfectly into the oval.

This would make a cute teachers gift, thank you gifts, get well ? Any reason … flu season is coming and why not be prepared and be the cool mom on the block!  This is also a great way to use up some of that designer paper you’ve been hording … lol.

Have some fun creating these cute Halloween gifts for your ghoul friends and then make some more for just for the fun of it … Christmas is coming too!

Thanks so much for joining me today … Let me know if you liked this project, I’d love to hear what you think … just message below.

I also have a supply list below to make your shopping easy, just click on any image for more information or to begin shopping with me.

Just a reminder … Today is the last day of the Buy 3 / Get 1 FREE Designer Papers …

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Today I have some “sweet” cards and 3-D projects to share with you.  We’re approaching the end of our Last-Chance Products promotion, and in these final days, Stampin’ Up! identified some items they now discounted up to 30%.

The discount pricing will go into effect at 12:00 PM (MT) on Thursday, May 30. I just wanted to let you know to get these discounted products while they last!

Click here to see the list of discounted last-chance products.

Oh my gosh … my club members fell in love with this cute little project we did at our Annual Spring Stamping Retreat, now you can get the goodies at a discount to make them!!

The Sweet Cups are discounted as well as the Sweet Pins & Tags and the Coastal Cabana/Granny Apple Green Reversible Ribbon!

These cute little treat cups were so easy to make!!  I simply took one of them apart, tossing the bottom, and then opening up the seam of the cut so I could lay it flat onto my designer paper and us it as a template to cut the pattern out!

A coordinating piece of designer paper was cut from one of the circle dies to decorate the top of the cover.  We used the Tombo glue to attach our ribbon onto the sides of the cover … tied a bow ant glued that on as well.

I fell in love with this entire product suite … it is so cute and as I’m writing this blog post, the How Sweet It Is Designer paper and the Sweetest Thing Photopolymer Bundle are still available to purchase!  Check out these cute projects you can create with the Product Suite ….

This bundle and designer paper will be hanging out in my stamp room for a while, not sure I can let it go after it retires. This time of year is a whirlwind … we have to say good-bye (unless you snag it up) and then there is the excitement of the new catalog.  I have several hitting the mail box tomorrow … and some tucked inside orders, and even more ready for pick-up … Do I have yours?

I’ve got more on order so I will have them ready for my Catalog Kick-Off Party … Watch for details coming soon!

Contact me if you have any questions on the retiring projects and/or new catalog. Thank you for joining me today.

Hope your day is a good one!

The Gift of Stamping

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Today I have a special project to share with you … a Gift Card Enclosure (or envelope!)  I love to create special enclosures when someone wants to give the gift of stamping by purchasing a Gift Certificate from me.

Yesterday it was one of my stampin’ friends’ birthday, and her husband (a very smart man) wanted to get her a gift certificate, so here is what I came up with for Dawn …

The front flap was created by coloring the Springtime Foil Specialty paper with the Stampin’ Blends. The greeting was cut with the Oval Thinlits dies and the Enamel Glitter dots were added for dimension and a touch of sparkle. The pretty pink ribbon just slides on and off to keep the cover closed.

The envelope was created with a piece of 8-1/2″ x 11″ Early Espresso and a couple of score lines!  The inner piece was cut to add a greeting and room for a signature.  Gently tucked inside is the Gift Certificate.

I can create a special card enclosure for your stampin’ friend, wife, Mom, daughter … sister, you name it! And for any occasion!! I do not charge for the card envelope …. just the cost of the Gift Certificate.

I’d be happy to help you with sharing the gift of stamping with the creative person in your life.

A Happy Birthday to Dawn … and I thank you all for stopping by today.

Enjoy your day ~
