Thanks times two …
Hello Stampin’ Friends,
Have you seen the August Paper Pumpkin kit yet? Watch to see how fun and simple this kit is to put together.
I really like the die cuts and how the look over the striped patterned cardstock card bases. I’m not comfortable in placing sequins (don’t know why I think it should be any different than pearls or rhinestones) but working with the Paper Pumpkin kit really gave me a bit more confidence, which is good because I ordered a couple packs!!
I also want to share my versions … the first not too different from the instructions
I did change up the note card a bit. Yep … worked in that sequins! It turned out so cute, I tucked it into an order.
I do want to remind you that now is a super time to try out My Paper Pumpkin. When you sign up by September 10th, you will get your first two months at 50% Off! Try it … you can cancel anytime (but I’m not sure why you’d want to). CLICK HERE Use Promo Code HALFOFF2
Please feel free to ask me any questions … I’m here to help!
Thanks for popping in and stop back tomorrow to see what else you can do with this fun “pumpkin” kit!
Have a fabulous day ~
Beautiful Day …
Hello Stampin’ Friends,
So … Did you guess which one of the new Weekly Deals was my favorite? If you guessed the Elegant Butterfly – YOU were correct! The Square framelit dies come in a close second.
I thought I would share with you a card I created using my 2 favorites from this weeks, Weekly Deals … the Elegant Butterfly and the Square Framelits!
The “Mossy Meadow” cardstock you see, is simply folded in half. Make sure your framelit sits above the fold so you do not cut the cardstock into 2 pieces.
I used the beautiful “Flowering Flourishes” stamp set, and teamed it up with the “Gorgeous Grunge” to create some depth to the card.
As you can see … I layered the Petite Petals (in Black Raspberry) with the Boho Blossom (in Razzleberry) punches to create my flower. The Elegant Butterfly and Bitty Butterflies also used the above color combination.
I topped them off with the Rhinestones to create a bit of contrast and add some sparkle. A beautiful friend always “shines”.
And finally, the greeting comes from the stamp set; Flower Patch. I just used that stamp set on Sunday, so you can add this to your collection of samples for the Flower Patch set … so versatile.
I hope I’ve inspired you to add the Square Framelits and Elegant Butterfly to your stampin’ collection … and while they are on Sale. Just click on any links below for details – although the sale items do not reflect the sale price below, they will come up in your shopping card as the sale price.
I would be more than happy to place an order for you, if you do not shop on-line. You can e-mail me at lindaluvs2stamp@aol.com

A Flower for a Friend …
Hello Stampin’ Friends,
I hope you had a nice weekend. I spent a big part of mine cutting cardstock and preparing for the upcoming Appreciation Party. I really do find it quite relaxing, and quality time with my sister Eileen.
Today I’d like to share with you a simple card with the cutest little punched flower! Let’s begin with our card base … I am using the beautiful Blackberry Bliss. It not only looks but sounds yummy!
I paired the Blackberry Bliss with the Whisper White and Park Lane designer series paper and added the Blackberry Bliss 3/8″ Stitched Satin Ribbon to soften the edge between the two.
The pretty little flower was created with the Pansy and Petite Petals punches in Blackberry Bliss and Perfect Plum.
STAMPIN’ TIP: The Perfect Plum portion of the flower was created by cutting out one of the petals from the Pansy Punch and then bringing the ends together to form a smaller flower. The leaves were also created from the Pansy Punch – cutting into the center and then trimming into a leaf shape.
The greeting comes from the Feel Goods stamp set and is stamped in the Blackberry Bliss to coordinate with the card base, flower, ribbon and designer paper. Gotta love that!
My list of ingredients are listed below for your convenience … just click on the image to view details or begin shopping.
Thank you for stopping by today.
Enjoy your Monday ~
Happy Blooming Birthday …
Hello Stampin’ Friends,
Today I would like to share a sweet and simple birthday card that will bring a smile to anyone who receives it. I used the new “Flower Patch” stamp set! This is one of our Photopolymer sets, and makes the two-step stamping super simple because of the clear images.
I have a video for you to view that highlights the “Flower Patch” stamp set …
My card base color is the new In-Color Mossy Meadow along with the Whisper White which truly highlights to ink colors we will be using on our card.
The flower was created by stamping our largest image first, in the lightest color: Crisp Cantaloupe. I then layers the Calypso Coral next, and completed the flower with the Cajun Craze… and topped it off with a pearl.
STAMPIN’ TIP: The leaves were added behind the flower by creating a mask. Stamp the largest flower image on a piece of scrap paper and cut it out. I always cut inside the line. Then place it over the flower and stamp your leaves … it gives the appearance they are behind the flower!
It’s been a while since I’ve used a two-step stamping set and forgot how fast you can create a beautifully layered, colorful card. I added the Daffodil Delight flowers in the background to create another pop of color.
As the video states, the Flower Patch stamp set has a coordinating framelit; Flower Flair, and when bundled you get a 15% savings!
I hope you enjoyed today’s card and video!
Happy Birthday ~
Guest Stamper … Doris P.
Hello Stampin’ Friends,
Today I have a cute card I would like to share with you, that one of my downline members… Doris P. stamped. She used the “Life in the Forest” stamp set … which is cool because I don’t have that one, and the little fox is just too cute.
I love the way he is romping around in the grass! It’s so easy to create now that we have the “Fringe Scissors”.
The greeting comes from the Just Sayin’ stamp set which coordinates with the Word Bubbles Framelit Dies. I do have those, and I love them! The greetings are so much fun and with one roll of the BigShot … they are cut out for you.
I have listed the ingredients at the end of the post. Thanks so much for stopping by.
Have an awesome day ~
Yee Haw … New Stamp Set!
Hello Stampin’ Friends,
Today I would like to share with you a new Photopolymer Stamp Set … “Yee Haw”. This is a great stamp sets for the cowboy (or girl) in us all.
The awesome card samples were created by Stampin’ Up! Concept artist Melody H.
There are so many cute stamps in this set. The lasso was designed to fit around Howdy, Rootin’ Tootin’, and Yee-Haw.
Here we have a sweet card for the cowgirl in the family. Of course, my oldest daughter, even though she loves flowers, would probably prefer something a bit more like this one below …
I must say … I love the star’s and the barbed wire on this card. I have one more sample for you …
What a fun little birthday gift this little bag would make! I think I’d stuff it with those Chocolate Gold Covered Coins you can buy at the Candyman on Main!
So … have you fallen in love with this cute set? Me too … Now mosey on over to the online store and buy yourself one . . . and one for a friend, too!
Thank you for stopping by…
Have an awesome day!
Tickled Pink …
Hello Stampin’ Friends,
Eileen and I have been busy creating boards for the annual Hostess Appreciation Party. By “boards” I mean that we showcase several stamp sets at the event, and then create about 5 different cards for each board … then we raffle them off!
Everyone loves seeing the different cards and how versatile the stamp sets are. Create * Inspire * Share!
OK … why am I telling you this? Because I just had to share one of the cards that will be posted on the “Flamingo Lingo” board. Each year I highlight the Ronald McDonald House Exclusive stamp set, because $3 from each stamp set sold goes to the Ronald McDonald Charity Houses. Great Cause … great stamp set!
Now … Isn’t this just too cute!
My flamingo is stamped in Strawberry Slush and highlighted with a Coastal Cabana scallop and twine bow. The cute flower in this stamp set, coordinates with the Petite Petals Punch.
Stampin’ Tip of the Day: Pretty Pearls … in any color! Our new Blendabilities markers work great for coloring our pearls, rhinestones, and even our buttons! Watch for upcoming “Blendabilities” classes.
I wanted to bring in that touch of “Florida” so I added the big bright shining sun from the “Kinda Eclectic” stamp set. Warms it up nicely … don’t you think!?
Picture this ….I wanted to use my “On Film” Framelit die, and just love the way it frames our flamingo.
I hope you enjoyed today’s card share, and consider purchasing the “Flamingo Lingo” stamp set.

I’d be “Tickled Pink” and I’ll send you a special “Flamingo Lingo” Thank You card!
Have a bright and sunny day ~
Seasons Greetings Sneak Peek …
Hello Stampin’ Friends,
A very good morning to you! As promised, today’s card share is a sneak peek from the upcoming Holiday catalog. My card features the Bright & Beautiful stamp set and Star’s Framelit Bundle. More about that later …
I began with the Soft Sky cardstock and wanted to team it up with Silver. First is the Fancy Foil Designer Vellum in Silver … I love the way the Soft Sky peaks through the vellum.
I used silver embossing powder on the Soft Sky … which seems to reflect off the silver and create the beautiful tones you see on the card. The Silver Glimmer paper highlights the star and just calls out… “Holiday”. I can’t wait … I’m eagerly getting “holiday” cards & projects ready for my retreat!
The greeting is included in the set, and is stamped in Soft Sky. The banner was trimmed by hand and given a bit of a curl to create some added dimension to the card.
Your Stampin’ Tip for today is the use of Glue Dots: They are used behind the silver on the vellum to adhere it to the cardstock, yet hid it from the eye. It is also the best adhesive for attaching cardstock to the Glimmer Paper!
This beautiful stamp set “Bright & Beautiful” and the Star’s Framelit Dies are currently on sale and bundled for you! You can have this in your hands now at a 15% discount or Free with the purchase of a Big Shot. Click here for more details
There are other bundle options for you, but I wanted to share the “Star’s Bundle” with you because you can get it now, before the catalog is released on the 28th. SHOP NOW
So … are you gearing up for the holiday’s already? At least looking for card ideas? Sign up for my e-mails and I’ll send you a list of my upcoming classes as soon as I post them.
Have a wonderful Wednesday!
Guest Stamper: Stampin’ Up!
Hello Stampin’ Friends,
Today I want to share with you a wonderful surprise that I received in the mail yesterday … yes, it’s a card. Actually I got two cards (Thank You Alice!).
My card came from Stampin’ Up! so I was very curious as to what was inside. Being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator has many rewards, let’s just say they know how to treat their demonstrators. Here’s what I saw …
How cute is that! First of all, you know I love stars!! That is my groups team name (Star’s by Design) and banners are “hot” right now. What melted my heart was what was inside …
Amazing! Rich Jutkins is the President and COO of Stampin’ Up! so I am very proud of my card (and achievements).
I do however have to THANK YOU … my stampin’ friends, club members and on-line shoppers. We did this together … I wouldn’t have been here for 15 years if it hadn’t been for you! I look forward to another 15 years! Wooo Hooooooooooooo!
Know I’m thinking about you today, and hoping you have the best day ever!
Stop back tomorrow as I will be sharing a fabulous card using product from the Big Shot Special … and it’s also a “Sneak Peek” at the upcoming Holiday Catalog!
Thanks again, and ~
Holiday Catalog Sneak Peak … Simply Grateful
Hello Stampin’ Friends,
Last week I teased with my Holiday Catalog order arrival, so today I thought I would share a little sneak peek into that catalog!
Today I’ll begin with my favorite of the four seasons … FALL. I just love those warm days and cool nights, and the wonderful smell of Autumn. It’s just fun and colorful, like a celebration that kicks off our holiday season. Hmmm… makes sense, doesn’t it!
OK … enough chit – chat! Grab a piece of paper and a pencil, because you are going to want to write down all these scrumptious new products ….
My base is “Baked Brown Sugar” and I teamed it up with the new “Under the Tree” Specialty Designer Paper. It is double sided and a bit thicker than our regular cardstock, so it’s going to be great for your cards, and your holiday projects.
The “Grateful for You” comes from the stamp set “Merry Everything”. I liked the way the lines from “YOU” on my greeting, plays off the lines of my designer paper!
The greeting was punched out with the new “Note Tag Punch”. I stamped a second tag to add a touch of color. I topped off the greeting with the Mossy Meadow Stitched Satin Ribbon which is found in the annual catalog with the In-Colors.
The precious little leaves come from our new “Fun Fall” Framelit Dies. I gave them a crease in the middle for some added dimension and then sponged the edges to soften them up a bit. My leaves are Mossy Meadow, Tangerine Tango, and Cherry Cobbler. All are popped up with the Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The colors of fall really warm this sweet card, and it is a simple card to recreate. I hope it inspired you today.
The items from the Holiday Catalog will not be available until the 28th, so I will only list the items from the Annual Catalog. Please let me know if you will be needing a Holiday Catalog!
Have yourself a warm and wonderful day ~

Simply Sunny Saturday’s …
Hello Stampin’ Friends,
What say’s summer more than a beautiful sunny day? We’ve had a few in a row and it seems to lighten everyone’s spirits.
So today I would like to share a sunny card that will make you smile and warm your heart. I’m using the “Kinda Eclectic” stamp set. Didn’t this stamp set just catch your eye the minute you saw it in the catalog? It was one of the first sets I ordered.
My core colors are Whisper White and the new Mossy Meadow, with a pop of Daffodil Delight and Bermuda Bay.
Stampin’ Tips:
To highlight the sun – I punched a coordinating piece of Daffodil Delight cardstock with the 1-3/8″ circle punch and then sponged the circle and my sun.
To create the butterfly – I stamped two of the large butterfly’s (Bermuda Bay on Bermuda Bay) then punched one with the Elegant Butterfly and the other with Bitty Butterfly. This way I have the same pattern on both sizes! Clever 🙂
The “THANKS” comes from the 2014 July Paper Pumpkin Kit. Not only do you get the fun and fabulous projects to make BUT … you get to keep all the wonderful stamps!! Here’s the kicker … they are exclusive to Paper Pumpkin, so as a Paper Pumpkin subscriber, you get exclusive sets that will not be available anywhere else. Now that’s a perk!
Don’t forget the 50% off your first two months to new Paper Pumpkin subscribers!
Don’t forget to stamp the inside and your envelope when you are creating your card… just image the smile this will bring to your friends face when they open the mail box! Warm and wonderful …. like a beautiful summer day.
