Occasions Catalog Sneak Peek with Heart …
Hello stampin’ friends ~
Today I want to share with you a sneak peek from the upcoming Occasions Catalog!
Remember Eileen’s Valentines Card that she made with the envelope punch board …. you will see where I got my inspiration…
Here is my “sneak peak” …
I am using the NEW “Scallop Tag Topper Punch” found on page 35 of the new Occasions Catalog. A 2 inch strip of cardstock fits beautifully into the punch. You can create a tag, add the tag to your card, a book mark and more …. be sure to stop back because I have some cute “topper” projects to share with you!
Punch is available January 3rd with the kick-off of the Occasions Catalog.
The greeting comes from the “Tags for You” stamp set found in the Holiday catalog, along with the coordinating “Label Bracket” Punch.
They are available through June as they were put on the “carry over” list … Yeaa! You can even bundle with the punch and save! Yea again 🙂 Link to Wood Mount Bundle
Thanks for stopping by … and don’t forget to check back (or sign up to the blog to get the posts sent directly to your e-mail) so you’ll always know when I’ve got something to share.
Happy Day!

Frosted Finishes Embellishment Necklace
Hello Stampin’ Friends,
A happy Sunday to you!
I am happy, I finally finished all my Christmas shopping yesterday. Many of my friends have been done for a while, and the gifts are wrapped under the tree! I will be wrapping tomorrow as I wait out our winter storm, watching Christmas movies and drinking hot chocolate…. sounds like a perfect Sunday.
Today I want to share with you a special little gift that I made for the girls who work for me at the Candyman on Main. This is our first holiday season together … in fact, it’s all of our “first” holiday season! None of us have worked in the store during the Christmas holiday so we pulled together, had a great season, and a great time.
To “thank” them, I began with the beautiful “Frosted Finishes Embellishments“…
I did go to the local hobby store to pick up the rest to create the necklace. My mistake was not ordering the beautiful “Simply Adorned Chain” which is currently on the clearance rack. I have some on order now for future projects … they’re a steal at only $4.39
I added a simple link which holds the Frosted Finishes Embellishment so nicely and added it to the chain. I tucked it into a small gift box and …
Isn’t it beautiful? Just think … you could make a pair of matching earrings too. Jewelry making is “hot” right now, so why not add a Stampin’ Up! touch to it.
Have a wonderful day, and if you’re waiting for the snow to stop like I am … sit back and enjoy, or stop over at my on-line store and get some of these goodies to make for your friends. Just click on the “pink” links.
Thanks so much for stopping by today.

More card shares …
Hello Stampin’ Friends,
Today I would like to share with you, three more cards that we made at our Star’s Christmas Party. We did what we call a “shoebox swap” … each participant designs a card and then cuts, and brings everything needed to make that card, then everyone at the event gets to make each others cards … it’s fun!
Would you be interested in joining in on a shoebox swap? Let me know, I’d love to host it.
I thought I would start with Connie’s card ….
My technique groups should recognize this, we just did the “Stained Glass” technique. Here is another wonderful card idea for you.
Connie used the “Joyful Christmas” stamp set from the Holiday Catalog (good through January 3rd) and the “Silver 1/8″ Ribbon“. I love that Connie did her card with Silver embossing, we did ours in gold …. such a small change can make the entire card look different, and both cards are beautiful.
Next, is Ren’s card. Ren is Connie’s daughter and has been stamping with us for quite a while.
Don’t you just love it! We all love a good “punch” card and this one is so cute! Ren had all the pieces cut so we didn’t even have to cut the door … we just embossed it with the new “Stylish Stripes” embossing folder.
For the wreath, we used the 2-3/8″ Scallop Circle Punch and the 1-3/4″ Circle Punch. The trick here is to punch out the circle first … then center the scallop punch over the circle to create the perfect wreath! The punches along with the adorable “Glimmer Brad – Brights Collection ” are found in our main Idea Book & Catalog.
Now I’d like to share with you, Susan’s card… a Tri-fold Easel Card!
If you’re looking to impress someone, this will do it! This beautiful card showcases the “Modern Medley” Designer Series Paper. Anyone who knows me, knows this is one of my favorite Designer Papers in the catalog …. I find it so versatile.
The greeting “Your Kindness means so much” comes from the stamp set “From My Heart” … also found in the main catalog.
I hope you enjoyed today’s card share … I loved making these beautiful cards with these wonderful ladies. I can’t think of a better day, than stamping with my friends.
If you are interested in any of the items listed to make these cards, you can just click on the link (words highlighted in pink) to view or purchase.
Have an awesome day!

Happy Heart Day … Guest Stamper
Hello stampin’ friends ~
Today I will share with you another card from our Star’s Christmas Party.
Today’s guest stamper is Eileen S.We will take a break from Christmas and share with you a cute card that will warm your heart and get you yearning for Valentine’s Day.
Eileen used the NEW Envelope Punch Board to create her card. Watch for an upcoming class that focuses on Envelope Punch Board projects in January.
Envelope Punch Board includes:
* An easy-to-use chart to create up to 66 different envelope sizes (including standard sizes). The measurements are provided both in inches and centimeters.
* A scoring tool in a convenient storage slot.
* Two punches designed right into the tool itself: one to make the envelope and one to round its corners.
The greeting comes from the “Tags for You” stamp set found in the Holiday catalog, along with the coordinating “Label Bracket” Punch.
The card is highlighted with the beautiful Silver Glimmer paper and fabulous punches. The “Polka Dot Parade” Designer Series paper really brings it all together and makes is pop.
To complete the card (as many of us do when we sign off) are the “xoxo” hugs and kisses from the “Oh, Goodie” stamp set. You can find that in the Holiday catalog as well.
Thanks for stopping by today!

Hello Stampin’ Friend,
Yes, I took a couple days off, but now I’m back and I have a sneak peek to share with you! I’m so excited and can’t wait to share the New Occasions Catalog and Sale-a-bration catalogs with you.
Saturday I held my annual Star’s Christmas Party … these are the girls who joined my Star’s and Stampin’ Up! under me. There were some that could not make it, and were truly missed.
We had plenty of food, treats and candy from the Candyman on Main ….
Make & takes and a special gift…
Their gift included a couple of the new items from the Occasions Catalog and a pretty little Star ornament to put on their tree.
The Make –n– Take I am sharing today is from the Sale-a-Bration catalog. It’s a Simply Sent kit that you can receive for FREE with a qualifying purchase, or as a Hostess gift.
These are so precious … and come with different greetings, in different languages! How fun is that! Everything you need to create the card comes in the package, and you get 8 cards and envelopes … liners included.
Thanks so much for stopping by today. I will be back with more card shares and sneak peeks from our Christmas Party and upcoming catalogs!

Pretty Print Christmas Card …
Hello Stampin’ Friends,
Hope you’re staying warm!
We’ll today is Friday the 13th … I see that as a good omen (Life is what you make it) so I plan on having a wonderful day. I wish the same for you.
My card share today is actually a beautiful Christmas cards that I received from my friend Cindy P. So Cindy … YOU are my guest stamper today!
I had it sitting out in my Stampin’ Studio and the ladies in my technique club just loved it, so I thought I would share it with all of you.
Cindy used the “Pretty Print Embossing Folder” to create the front of the card. You can find it on page 24 of the Holiday Catalog, or just click the link to view it.
She then punched out the little trees which came from the holiday petite punch trio that was in last years Holiday Catalog. I saw it in the Clearance Rack a while back, but when I went to add the link for you, I saw that it was no longer there (Sold Out)… Sorry!
It appears the items on the clearance rack are flying off the shelves (so to speak). I see many of you have already taken advantage of the savings … some up to 80%! Thank you so much for choosing me as your demonstrator – US Only.
You can click HERE to view the Clearance Rack. I have noticed while going through the clearance rack, that once you get to page 10 … just keep clicking on the > arrow – there is still more to see!
Thank you Cindy for the beautiful card, and I hope you don’t mind that I shared it with the world. I know they will enjoy it as much as I do.
Happy Friday the 13th! Have an awesome day …

Chalkboard Technique …
Hello Stampin’ Friends,
You don’t have to live in Wisconsin these days to feel the wrath of the weather … snow, freezing rain, and below zero temperatures are hitting over half our country! WOW …
I thought this artwork was cute and it fits in with today’s card and technique share: Chalkboard Technique
What better way to say it’s cold outside than with snowflakes. My club members will recognize this card because it is one of the two designs they made in November, when they learned the “Chalkboard” Technique.
Besides the black cardstock seen here, I also used Soft Sky. I wanted something blue, but I didn’t want to over power the white and black.
I will share with you the steps it takes to create this card. I’ve been know to break down techniques to the most basic level or recreate them so they are simpler, and keeping it more fun to do!
DIRECTIONS:
1) Swipe the embossing buddy across your black cardstock to prevent stray embossing powder from sticking to unstamped areas.
2) Arrange your stamps in a desired pattern and stamp in White Craft or Versamark ink
3) Sprinkle white embossing powder over stamped areas, shake off excess and heat with embossing gun.
4) Add details (such as a border or other doodles) with chalk marker.
5) Rub embossing buddy in the corners and around sentiments to resemble chalk dust.
My clubs not only make 2 projects using the technique they’re learning, but create a “Technique Sheet!” They are easily stored in a 6 x 6 scrapbook so they can refer to them when they want to recreate a technique. It is my most popular club! My members also receive the “hostess benefits” … free stamps and accessories!
If you and 5-7 of your friends want to get together and learn techniques … I will start one for you beginning in January. Just email me at lindaluvs2stamp@aol.com
If you haven’t noticed … I want to point out that I have used the same two stamp sets that I used on yesterday’s card … the Festive Flurry and Joy to the World stamp sets. It’s great how you get a totally different look even when using the same stamp sets!
I love showing you different ways to use your stamp sets and accessories… it makes them more cost effective for you!
Thanks so much for stopping by … I’ll have more for you tomorrow!

Christmas Wishes …
Hello Stampin’ Friends,
Burrr! Hope you’re staying warm.
As we begin the day with a whoppin’ 5 degrees, I hear it’s going to warm up into the 20’s … just so it can snow! Oh well, that’s winter in Wisconsin!
Today I will share with you my final “Silver & Gold” card (we’ll at least for a little while). I couldn’t resist, I was just having too much fun creating with these fabulous foil papers.
My card today highlights the “snowflake” from the “Festive Flurry” stamp set found in the Holiday catalog. Just to let you know, the holiday catalog purchasing period ends January 2nd.
I heat embossed the snowflake with the silver embossing powder and cut it out with the coordinating “Festive Flurry” framelit dies. I then highlighted it with the rhinestones.
I used the Ovals Collection framelits to cut out an oval to showcase the snowflake. I also added a strip of the gold foil paper to the side, after embossing it with the “Stylish Stripes” Impressions Folder. I accented it with the silver ribbon, just to tie bring the card together.
My greeting “Christmas Wishes” comes from the stamp set “Joy to the World” … I was really impressed with the stamps in this set and use them quite a bit on my cards.
I used Very Vanilla cardstock as my base, it created a softer and warmer effect than using the white.
Thanks for stopping by and I will be sure to show you something other than silver and gold tomorrow.
Stay warm ~
