  • Card Base = 11″ x 4 1/4″ Score & at 5 1/2″ then slide over and cut at 2 1/4″
  • Cut another 4 1/4″ x 2 1/4″ piece from left over card stock.
  • Inside / Designer paper = 4″ x 5 1/4″
  • Basic White: Cut 2 – 4″ x 2″ pieces to attach to mats
  • Frontc Flap / Designer paper = 4″ x 3″

Let’s take a closer look at each card … Here is our North Pole Delivery card that was featured in the video. It’s full of cheer and whimsy, this patterned paper set features dogs, bears, and more animals delivering holiday letters and packages in classic Christmas colors of reds and greens. Plus, you get two sheets of pre-cut images for easy accents!

Peaceful Garden Suite – Creating Timeless Charm

There’s something truly magical about the holiday season—cozy moments, heartfelt giving, and the joy of creating something special with your own hands. The Peaceful Garden Suite captures all of that and more with its elegant designs and timeless charm. During a recent LIVE, I showcased two cards created with the same layout but each with a completely different look. One featured the Peaceful Greenery 3D Embossing Folder, which creates a stunning embossed frame with delicate filigree and greenery surrounding a large open space—perfect for your stamped images or sentiments. The other card highlighted the Peaceful Garden 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper, which has beautiful dove and greenery images on one side and soft tone-on-tone washes on the other. The paper is perfect for holiday crafting, but its gentle designs make it just as lovely for all-occasion projects.

The Peaceful Greenery 3D Embossing Folder

The embossing folder creates a stunning embossed frame with delicate filigree and greenery surrounding a large open space, which I used the dies and stamp set to add the greeting, and are backed with the beautiful glimmer paper. The die cut doves are recognized as symbols of peace and goodwill, and brought all together makes a beautiful Christmas card with dimension and texture.

As you can see, the layout of the two cards is the same, right down to the greeting (I only changes the color of the glimmer paper). The patterned paper I used gives a soft background and is perfect for Christmas, or switch out the greeting to either Sympathy or the Heartfelt Prayer stamps and change the entire feeling of this card, showing the versatility of this suite.

Both cards came together quickly, yet each offered its own personality: the embossed version was rich with texture and a little more luxurious, while the designer paper version had a softer, layered elegance that’s wonderful for creating multiples with ease. That’s what I love about this suite—it’s so easy to mix and match, whether you prefer the tactile beauty of embossing or the graceful flow of patterned paper.

Cosmic Colors & Creative Magic: Lights of Aurora Inspiration Inside

Day 2 of 12 Days of Christmas: Peaceful Painted Trees with a Touch of Pearl

Welcome to Day 2 of my 12 Days of Christmas celebration! Today, I’m thrilled to share a card that combines elegance with ease. This design features the stunning Painted Trees 3-D Embossing Folder, the Peaceful Season Bundle, and introduces the dazzling Pearlized Enamel Effects – Basics. This card was a hit with my Stamp Club, where members enjoyed learning the step-by-step process to create it. Now it’s your turn to dive in and see just how simple it is to bring this beautiful design to life!

Christmas cards hold a special kind of magic, and the Painted Trees 3-D Embossing Folder delivers that magic effortlessly. The intricate trees scene provides a textured backdrop, setting the stage for a serene, peaceful holiday message. Pairing it with the Peaceful Season Bundle—complete with coordinating stamps and dies—adds layers of charm. To top it off, the Pearlized Enamel Effects add just the right amount of shimmer, and truly highlighting our trees.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

  1. Card Base:
    Night of Navy: 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ scored and folded at 4 1/4″. Attach 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Basic White to the inside / stamp sentiment if desired.
  2. Basic White / Embossed Trees:
    Cut to 3 3/4″ x 5 1/2″. Using the Painted Trees embossing Folder, place your white cardstock in the center of the folder and “center” the largest tree to be the focal point of your card.
  3. Add Pearlized Details:
    Now for the fun part! Using a Sponge Dauber, lightly tap the Pearlized Enamel Effects onto your trees to add delicate covering on them, truly highlighting the beautiful detail of the embossing folder. Set aside and let dry while you continue.
  4. Gold Foil Mat::
    The Gold mat is 4″ x 5 1/2″. Using the “detailed” CHRISTMAS die from the Peaceful Season Bundle, you will place this in the center of the Gold Mat and die cut your greeting. At this time, using a scrap piece of Night of Navy… cut the coordinating Mat / Bold CHRISTMAS die. Adhere the two die cut pieces together with glue, and don’t forget the dot for your “i”.
  5. Assemble the Card:
    Begin by layering your greeting over the embossed trees. Add “MERRY” at this time. Now place your embossed tree piece over the Gold Mat. Now is the perfect time to add the beautiful Night of Navy and Gold Glitter Ribbon to your piece. Once you’ve added your bow, attach this assembly to your card base. You can adhere directly or add Stampin’ Dimensionals to pop it up.
  6. .Embellish:
    This will complete your card! I added the Gold Textured Adhesive Backed Dots. Feel free to use any of your favorite embellishments… I just wanted to stick with the GOLD and NAVY theme, as it’s so elegant.

This card was a joy to make and a delight to give. The combination of texture, elegant embossing, and that touch of pearly shine creates a timeless holiday greeting that anyone would cherish.

To complete the look, I added a bold “Peace on Earth” greeting using the rectangular die from the Christmas Labels Bundle.

Here’s how easy it is to make:
1️⃣ Cut a piece of the lantern-patterned paper; 4″ x 5 1/4″ to fit your card front. Pretty Peacock Card Base measures 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″… then scored and folded at 4 1/4″.
2️⃣ Stamp “Peace on Earth” (or your favorite sentiment!) with Pretty Peacock Classic Ink and use the coordinating die to cut it out. The bundle makes it an easy choice!
3️⃣ Attach the greeting to the card with a few dimensionals for a polished look. Embellish!

That’s it! This card is a breeze to assemble and perfect for making multiples—ideal for spreading holiday cheer far and wide.

Simple Elegance with the Changing Leaves Bundle

First, let me welcome my NEW Subscribers; welcome to our creative community! I’m excited to have you …. and excited to share today’s card with all of you!! It’s simply stunning and so simple to recreate … let’s begin!

This project proves that sometimes, less is more, and simplicity can absolutely shine! Using a rich palette of Very Vanilla and Gold, this card exudes elegance and warmth—perfect for my “thank you” … the upcoming season or any occasion that calls for a touch of class.

The card starts with a classic A2 card base in Very Vanilla. The magic begins with a 4” x 5-1/4” piece of Very Vanilla cardstock embossed using the Changing Leaves Hybrid Embossing Folder. This will be attached directly to the base. If you haven’t used a hybrid folder before, you’re in for a treat! It’s called “hybrid” because it embosses and cuts images with the coordinating dies—such a clever and time-saving design.

To add dimension and interest, I die-cut some delicate leaves using the coordinating dies from the bundle. These layered onto the embossed background create a look that’s both understated and elegant. For the sentiment, I turned to the Changing Leaves Stamp Set. Everything in this bundle works seamlessly together—the stamps, the dies, and the embossing folder! Using VersaMark Ink, I stamped the sentiment onto Very Vanilla cardstock and heat-embossed it with our new Gold Embossing Powder. The metallic finish adds such a stunning and cohesive touch to the design.

The sentiment was die cut —you guessed it— using the coordinating die from the bundle! A few of the Woven Golden leaves and gold Opal Rounds were added around it to draw the eye and provide just the right amount of embellishment. I kept the card simple to let the embossed details and gold accents shine, proving that with the right tools, you can create something truly exquisite without spending hours at your craft table.

A Handcrafted Masculine Card in Green & Gold

In this blog post, we’ll explore the creation of a stunning card using the Most Adored Specialty paper and incorporating the captivating “Ink Dragging Technique.” The result is a visually striking combination of Shaded Spruce and Gold, enhanced further by the use of Gold Foil sheets and a touch of sentiment from the “He’s All That” stamp set.

To begin, select the Most Adored Specialty Paper as the canvas for your card. To add depth and dimension, employ the Ink Dragging Technique using Shaded Spruce ink. The gentle strokes of color will create a captivating visual effect, giving the paper an alluring quality.

Next, I introduced the Gold Foil Sheet to complement the rich Shaded Spruce tones. Cut and layer the foil strategically / cutting diagonally allowing it to bring out the luxurious gold accents on the card. For a heartfelt touch, use the “He’s All That” stamp set to heat emboss your sentiment in gold. Once embossed, utilize the Heartfelt Hexagon Punch to give the sentiment a distinctive shape, adding a touch of sophistication to the card.

On The Flip Side:

When you turn over the Most Adored gold pattern it reveals a delightful surprise on the flip side. Against a backdrop of flirty flamingo, white floral hearts bloom, creating a charming contrast. This pretty design adds an element of playfulness to our overall card design. 

For the greeting, I used the “Sending Smiles” stamp set and coordinating Sending dies. Cut out the delicate elements and arrange them onto your card front. To accentuate the design, embellish with silver pearls from the Festive Pearls package. These pearls add a touch of elegance to our card.

Crafting a handmade greeting card is an art form that allows for the expression of creativity and thoughtfulness. By showcasing the allure of the Most Adored Specialty Paper, either card is sure to leave a lasting impression on its recipient.

“A Season of Reflection and Gratitude: A Message This Christmas”

Merry Christmas Stampin’ Friends,

On this Christmas Eve I write to you as you may have noticed my absence over the past few days, and I wanted to take a moment to share a glimpse of why these days have been incredibly precious to me.

This year has been marked by a profound loss for my family. In October, we said goodbye to my great grandson, Armani. His departure left a void that seemed insurmountable. But amidst this heartache, something beautiful emerged—our family grew closer, drawing strength from each other in a way we hadn’t before. (I was helping him put his Christmas presents together last year).

The past few days and during Christmas are about cherishing every moment with my family. We’ve held each other a little tighter, laughed a little louder, and found solace in being together during this holiday season. That little boys love touched so many. 

In the midst of this personal journey, I’ve been profoundly moved by the unwavering support you’ve shown me, both personally and in my stamping business. Your kindness, messages of encouragement, and understanding during this time have meant the world to me. Your support has been a source of comfort, and I’m deeply grateful for each and every one of you who has been there for me.

Begin by selecting your desired shades for the giraffe’s body: Lemon Lolly & Medium Naturals. I used the Cherry Cobbler, Shaded Spruce and Smoky Slate to color the rest. With the fine and brush tips of the markers, apply the lighter shade as the base layer and gradually add depth by layering the darker shade. I go over again once I lay down the darker color which really blends them and creates a visually appealing finish.

I used the Scallop Contour Dies to highlight my images and took it one step further by coloring the stitch lines around the die … the Designer paper is a Walk in the Forest. For each package of designer paper sold, $3 will be donated to a charity (Toy’s for Tots) in our area.

Simple Gift Idea: Hot Chocolate Holder

Looking for a thoughtful yet simple gift idea that’s sure to warm hearts this holiday season? Look no further than a delightful Hot Chocolate Packet /Holder! Whether it’s for teachers, colleagues, or anyone who enjoys cozy winter treats, this little package is a surefire way to spread some cheer. Inside, you’ll find the makings of a delicious cup of hot cocoa along with a special touch – a tube of crushed candy canes to infuse that beloved peppermint flavor. Let’s dive into how you can create this delightful and festive gift!

Measurements:

  • Cardstock: Real Read 8 ½” x  5 ½”
  • Cardstock 2:  Basic White: 4” x 4”
  • Merry Bold & Bright Designer Paper: 5 1/8” x 4”
  • Black & White Gingham Ribbon: 12”

Instructions:

  • Score 8 ½” side of cardstock at 4 ¼”.  Fold and Burnish.
  • Card base: Make a tick mark at 2-3/4″ along the 5-1/2″ side and cut from the tick mark to where the center score line meets the top edge
  • Designer Paper: Make a tick mark at 2-5/8″ along the 5-1/8″ side and, with the tick mark along the right side, cut from the tick mark to the opposite left corner
  • Attach the piece of designer paper to the front with diagonal cut, leaving a border around the edges.
  • Take your Tear & Tape adhesive and run it along the bottom edge of that was not cut. This creates the pocket to hold your Hot Cocoa Mix.
  • Punch your first hole about 5/8” from the edge and about 1/2″ from the diagonal.  Doesn’t have to be perfect.  Punch second hole about ½” lower. This holds our treat tube.
  • Use your Real Red Stampin’ Blend to color your Black & White Gingham Ribbon. Let Dry.
  • Feed ribbon through bottom hole from the front side – pulling it through to the front side, feed it through the top hole.  This creates a loop that will hold your treat tube.
  • Tuck your Treat Tube into loop and pull firmly.  Tie in a bow.
  • Stamp the “Cup of Cheer” image in Memento Ink onto White cardstock. Let Dry.
  • Use small Blending Brush to brush on Balmy Blue ink.
  • Using Stampin’ Blend; color as desired.  I used the three shades of Natural Tones for my cookie.
  • Die cut image with Largest Circle from the Stylish Shapes Dies
  • Attach with Stampin’ Dimensionals. 

NOTE: I used Crushed Peppermint (Candy Canes) and Nestle Hot Chocolate packets that I found at Walmart.  Treat Tubes can be found on Amazon under “Treat Tubes for Crafting / Candies”.  

I just love how this turned out, and so easy to make! You will definitely spread cheer when handy out these tasty treat. If peppermint isn’t your thing, I found Mini-Marshmallows and Salted Caramel treats as well.

From Scraps to a Stunning Christmas Card

What do you do with your scraps when cutting for your main cards? Rather than letting them collect dust or tossing them, why not turn them into something extraordinary? In this blog post, I’ll walk you through a creative endeavor using leftover pieces of the Joy of Christmas designer paper. Get ready to unlock the full potential of those remnants!

I used leftover pieces of Joy of Christmas designer paper to create my background. Then, I gathered up my Joy of Noel bundle to compliment the designer paper, and some vellum cardstock along with the Nested Essentials Dies … to create my focal point.

From the Joy of Noel bundle, I chose the NOEL for my project’s theme. In this instance, the greeting was selected to serve as the focal point. The choice of stamp sets the tone for the entire piece.

Utilizing the Nested Essentials dies to cut the vellum cardstock …. the translucent quality of vellum adds a touch of sophistication to your creations, enhancing the overall visual appeal. When you layer the vellum over the leftover designer paper it allows the intricate patterns to peek through. This layering technique adds depth and visual interest.

I took my creation a step further by incorporating additional embellishments, which were created by stamping, coloring and cutting out the holly leaves from the Joy of Noel bundle. I also used the Festive Pearls to complement the color scheme and theme of the project.

Don’t let those leftover designer paper scraps go to waste. With a bit of creativity and resourcefulness, you can transform them into stunning works of art. In this project, I repurposed remnants of Joy of Noel designer paper and combined them with vellum to create a visually captivating masterpiece.
