A Treat Box for Every Reason …

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Today I’m sharing some cute treat / gift boxes that are super easy to make! These boxes will be celebrating Halloween, Christmas and a time for friends. One 12 x 12 sheet of designer paper will make 2 boxes. Once you start making these boxes … you’re going to want more paper!

This very first box was created with the Forever Greenery Product Suite. The cute little stitched circle die cut comes from the Heartwarming Hugs bundle and the leaves were cut directly from a wreath cut using the Arrange a Wreath Bundle.

Grab a cup of your favorite beverage and join me while I take you step by step creating this simple box …

So easy right? I will also be sharing the dimensions with you, as promised in the video. I thought it would be fun to share the box made in this video along with the card I made in last weeks video. You can find all my videos on my Linda’s Stampin’ Escape YouTube Channel … please subscribe while you are there 🙂

The next little treat box celebrates Christmas … I used the Heartwarming Hugs Product Suite. With so many amazing papers in this package, it was hard to choose one … hope you like it!

The “For You” badge was fun to make … first I stamped it in Real Red on Whisper White and die cut it with this die that cuts out the center as well. The cool die that mats the circle is a fun shape to work with. The tree was stamped in Mossy Meadow on Pear Pizzazz.

I wrapped a ribbon around the top and tied a bow on … you don’t always need a handle! The next treat box I want to share is my Halloween one …

My Oh My … I had fun with this one!! I wrapped the top and created the handle with Pretty Peacock cardstock … along with a piece die cut with the fun shape from the Heartwarming Hugs! Using that die I also cut a piece from the Black Glitter paper… together they make a fun design behind the greeting.

I blinged out the handle with more of the Black Glitter paper and those lovely Iridescent Pearls. The next treat box was created with the same Magic in this Night suite … No handle!

This one was created with the help of the September 2020 Paper Pumpkin. The greeting, the hat, the flower and the mini doily are all from the Paper Pumpkin kit! I’ll be sharing more about the upcoming Paper Pumpkin soon.

Here are the dimensions for our treat / gift box ….

I hope you have enjoyed today’s project share … they were really fun to make. I wasn’t kidding when I said that once you start making them that you’ll want more paper ….

Don’t forget that 15 of our designer papers are 15% Off until the 31st of this month. The deadline is coming up soon. Let me know if you need any help placing your order.

Thank you for joining me today …

Have a wonderful day!

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Another quick post today … Yesterday Mom was admitted back into the hospital because she was not feeling good at all. We are still waiting for official word of what may have caused this again.

She looked better when I left last night than she did in the morning when my daughter took her in. So our hopes are high…. next we schedule a biopsy.

I know I’ve been busy but I still have a lot of Holiday Cards ready to share … gather your friends and let’s get together to see these products in action. I would love to be a part of your holiday preparations!

We can do an in-home party where you invite your friends over to stamp and see all the Holiday supplies, or you can host a book or On-line party.  Contact me at lindaluvs2stamp@aol.com or call 262-334-1009 to schedule some fun!

Thank you for stopping by today ~

It is truly appreciated.

Our retreat stamping was in the bag …

Hello Stampin’ Friends,

Today is Day 2 of my “Holiday Retreat” series and I would like to take you along to our first stamping session on Friday evening.  After a dinner of hot turkey sandwiches, fruit salad, taco dip & chips and more, we retreated to our stamping area …

Stamp room - blog post

I set up the area before my guests arrive so they can just come in and begin the fun. The projects are pre-cut for them but they still get to do some of the BigShotting, embossing and punching.  On Friday we began with a project, an awesome bag they could take their cards home in and pass on for a gift.

I’m sure some of you recognize the “Paper Pumpkin” bag … One of the benefits of being a Paper Pumpkin supscriber is that you can order “past kits” when available … and this is one of my favorites!  I’ve personally used them many times.   Click Link for more information …

I jazzed it up with our beautiful “Under the Tree” Specialty Designer Series paper found on page 5 of the Holiday catalog. A touch of Old Olive behind it really highlights the snowflake pattern.

The precious snowflake comes from the “Snowflake Card Thinlit Dies” and is done in the stunning Champagne Glimmer Paper. I will admit that the large Rhinestones used for the center are now discontinued, but my guests learned how easy it is to color any of their Rhinestones and Pearls with our Blendabilities … we used the “Skin Tone Assortment”.

I swapped out the ribbon from the kit and used the “Natural & Old Olive” Two-Tone Trim for the handles … they look so cool! All the colors came together so nicely to create a beautiful holiday bag that could be given to a man or women.

Tomorrow I’ll be sharing a few of the swap cards that my ladies created … we did an all occasion swap! There was a lot of talent in out stamping group!

The Stampin’ Supply List for today’s project is listed below.

STAMPIN’ SUPPLY LIST ….

Christmas Wishes in Silver …

Hello Stampin’ Friends,

Hope you are having a good weekend.  It’s a bit chilly here in Wisconsin, and I have to admit … I have turned the heat on a time or two!

In my last post, I shared with you a simple card using the “Joyful Christmas” stamp set, so I wanted to show you another that is entirely different.

Today’s card share is a non-traditional but stunning Christmas card.  Normally we don’t think of using black for Christmas cards, but paired with the beautiful Silver Foil Sheets, you can’t go wrong.

000_0282

I teamed up this color combination with the “Triple Time” Technique to create this elegant card.  It really was quite easy to create.  I began with a 4 x 4 inch square in the silver foil.  I cut my black mats 1/2″ smaller.  With that in mind, the silver squares are: 4″ x 4″, 3-1/4″ x 3-1/4″, and 2-1/2″ x 2-1/2″.  The black will measure: 3-1/2″ x 3-1/2″ and 2-3/4″ x 2-3/4″.

Once all your layers are cut, you take out the black mats, stack up the silver … then stamp and emboss.

I used the Silver Metallic Encore pad as my ink medium, then the silver embossing powder.  You will notice some gaps between the layers of silver… it’s OK because your black mats will cover that up.  Be sure to align your stamped image before assembling.

My Christmas Wishes come from the “Joy to the World” stamp set, and are also stamped with the Encore pad, then embossed with the silver embossing powder.

Hope you enjoyed the two different styles of the poinsettia, Joyful Christmas stamp set.

Thanks so much for sharing your day with me.

Stop back again for more inspiration.
