Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

This time, we’re giving this cheerful paper a fun fold moment, and I think you’re going to love how playful and interactive it is. The bright colors, happy bugs, and garden-inspired patterns make this paper such a joy to work with, and it truly shines when paired with a fold that adds movement and dimension.

For today’s card, I leaned into the whimsy of the paper and let those darling images do the talking. From the smiling bee and butterfly to the lush leaves and berries, every layer adds to the charm without feeling fussy or overdone. The fun fold design gives this card a little “wow” when it’s opened, yet it’s still simple enough to recreate—perfect for when you want something special without a lot of extra steps.

Spring Blooms with the Easter Time Mix & Match Ephemera Pack

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

On Sunday, I shared a sweet little bunny card created with the Easter Time Mix & Match Ephemera Pack, and today I’m back with another simple, spring-inspired design—this time featuring the charming watering can. I love how this pack makes it so easy to create beautiful cards without overthinking every detail. The soft pastels, playful spring imagery, and ready-to-use pieces truly let the ephemera do the work for you, which makes crafting feel relaxing and joyful… just the way it should be.

For today’s card, I paired the watering can ephemera with coordinating patterned paper that instantly says spring is here. The vertical stripes add a cheerful pop of color, while the softer patterned panel balances everything out beautifully. The watering can—filled with delicate spring blooms—becomes the perfect focal point, layered over a subtle die-cut circle for a bit of texture and dimension. A simple “hello, spring” greeting finishes the card without taking away from the artwork, making this a lovely design for birthdays, happy mail, or just because.

I’m sharing the replay of my LIVE demonstration / a step-by-step video that walks you through both cards—the bunny card from Sunday and today’s watering can card. In the video, I share all the measurements, layering tips, and simple tricks I use so you can confidently recreate these designs or use them as inspiration for your own spring cards. Whether you’re brand new to cardmaking or just looking for something quick and stress-free, this project is a great reminder that beautiful cards don’t have to be complicated.

Nature Walk Sympathy Card featuring Prayers & Promises

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

If you’ve been craving time to create, breathe, and truly recharge, my Spring Stamping Retreat was created with you in mind. Yesterday I shared the invitation to this all-inclusive, in-person retreat—a place where creativity flows freely, your sanity gets a much-needed refresh, and you leave feeling relaxed, inspired, and filled with memories you’ll carry long after the weekend ends. Today, I want to show you how that retreat experience comes to life at the stamp table through one of the projects you could expect to create and explore together.

This card, created with the Nature Walk Designer Series Paper, is a perfect example of how inspiration, technique, and thoughtful design come together—something I intentionally build into every retreat experience. We begin with an A2 card base using Pretty Peacock cardstock, cut to 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and scored at 4 1/4″. A layer of Basic Black cardstock, cut to 4″ x 5 1/4″, frames the designer paper and immediately draws the eye inward. The distressed pattern I chose from the Nature Walk collection reminds me of a painted canvas—rich, textured, and quietly powerful. It’s the kind of paper that works beautifully for nature-inspired designs, masculine cards, and sympathy cards like today’s project, making it an incredibly versatile addition to your crafting collection.

At this stage, the greeting naturally becomes the focal point of the card, allowing the sentiment to speak from the heart. I used the Prayers & Promises stamp set, stamping the greeting in Pretty Peacock ink to create harmony across the design. To soften and balance the layout, I added layered leaves cut from both Pretty Peacock cardstock and the Nature Walk Designer Series Paper. This combination adds depth and visual interest while keeping the card elegant and meaningful—exactly the kind of thoughtful design approach we focus on during retreat classes as we explore new fun folds and techniques together.

And let’s talk embellishments for a moment—because sometimes it’s the smallest details that bring everything to life. The Holographic Resin Dots were the perfect finishing touch. I love how they subtly catch the light and reflect the colors of the card, almost like magic. These little accents add just enough sparkle without overpowering the sentiment, a design tip I love sharing during retreat sessions when we talk about balance and intention in cardmaking.

This is what my stamping retreats are really about—you. They’re about creating together, learning together, and giving ourselves permission to pause and enjoy something that fills our hearts. If this card inspires you, imagine an entire weekend built around that feeling. I would love nothing more than to share that experience with you at my Spring Stamping Retreat. Reach out to save your spot, and be sure to take a closer look at the Nature Walk Designer Series Paper and Prayers & Promises stamp set—products chosen with you in mind and perfect for creating cards that matter. 💙

Thank you for being the heart of this stamping community—your creativity, your friendship, and your love for cardmaking continue to inspire me! Till next time ~

Hugs & Kisses Tent Fold Card

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Sometimes it’s fun to take a closer look at those tools in our craft rooms that feel like a bit of an investment—and really explore all the ways they can work for us. Today’s card does exactly that by shining the spotlight on the Party Alphabet Dies in a completely different way. These dies aren’t just for birthdays or big celebrations… they’re perfect for everyday cards, heartfelt messages, and yes—even hugs and kisses!

For this project, I started with a classic A2 tent-fold card base, cut to 11″ x 4 1/4″ and scored at 5 1/2″. This simple fold is always a favorite because it’s easy, sturdy, and gives you plenty of room to let your layers and focal point shine. I selected a different pattern from the Made with Love Designer Series Paper and cut it to 4″ x 5 1/4″, mounting it directly to the card front. The delicate pattern instantly sets the tone and makes the card feel cheerful and fun.

Because the designer paper is such a statement on its own, I wanted the focal point to stand out without competing with the background. A soft vellum circle, cut using the Spotlight on Nature Dies, was the perfect solution. Vellum is one of my favorite tricks for grounding a focal point—it softens the busy background while still letting that gorgeous paper peek through.

Next came the stars of the show: the X and O, die cut from Flirty Flamingo cardstock using the Party Alphabet Dies. Simple, bold, and full of meaning—who doesn’t love sending hugs and kisses? I popped them up with Stampin’ Dimensionals to add depth and draw the eye right to the center of the card. This is a great example of how these alphabet dies can be used beyond words and names to create symbols, sentiments, and playful focal points for any occasion.

For the greeting, I reached for the sticker sheet that comes with the Made with Love Designer Paper pack. I stamped a sentiment from the Reason to Celebrate stamp set directly onto one of the sticker sections and placed it on the card front. To finish the greeting, I punched a heart using the Bee Builder Punch—how cute is that? It’s such a fun and creative way to use the blank space on the sticker sheet while adding just the right touch of sweetness. Take a peek at the video below …

This card is a perfect reminder that versatile products truly earn their place in your craft room showing up again and again in fresh, unexpected ways. The Party Alphabet Dies are a wonderful example of that kind of versatility—perfect for birthdays, celebrations, Valentine’s Day, everyday greetings, and so much more. And don’t worry… there’s plenty more inspiration coming your way!

If this card made you smile, I hope it inspires you to look at your supplies with fresh eyes and have fun mixing patterns, textures, and simple die cuts to create something special. Sometimes it’s those small, thoughtful details that make a handmade card extra meaningful.

Just a reminder to join for our online party filled with inspiration, fun and prize patrol!!

Third Runner-Up Spotlight – Attendee Swap Fun! 🎉

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Today we’re sharing the 3rd runner-up from our Fall Stamping Retreat Attendee Swap, and let me tell you — this one is just stunning! 🌟

This beautiful card was created by Karie Kahrs using the Traditions of Christmas Suite. At first glance, you might think, “Christmas card,” but Karie took her creativity to the next level… she turned it into a Birthday Card! How clever is that? So many of us have loved ones with birthdays close to the holidays who prefer a “real” birthday card — this is pure inspiration! 🎂✨

The base of the card is Old Olive, with coordinating mats and a banner to frame the design perfectly. Karie die-cut the floral piece from the suite and popped it up on her focal point, creating dimension and a gorgeous layered look.

Here’s where her creativity really shone: the birthday greeting was heat embossed in gold, giving it that elegant, celebratory feel. She then added a swatch of gold foil paper behind the flowers and sentiment to make everything pop. And to top it off, she added the Traditional Sparkling Sequins in Gold from the suite — just the perfect finishing touch! ✨💛

This card is a fantastic example of taking a Christmas-themed suite and using it beyond the holidays. Karie’s design proves that a little imagination and clever use of products can create something totally unique — and that’s exactly why she earned 3rd place in our Attendee Swap Contest! 🏆

We hope Karie’s card inspires you to look at your stamp sets and papers in a whole new way. Who says Christmas products are just for December? 😉

Thanks for joining me today … stop back for our 2nd runner up tomorrow!

Peaceful. Elegant. Easy. You’ll Love this Layout, and the Bundle!

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Today I’m sharing an oh-so-pretty card that’s just as easy to make as it is beautiful! This one features the Peace on Earth Bundle, and let me tell you—it’s an absolute must-have. The stamp sentiments are perfectly sized to fit the die-cut labels, which takes all the guesswork out of coordination (don’t you just love when Stampin’ Up! makes it easy for us?). Even better, the sentiments go beyond Christmas! You’ll find greetings that work for thinking of you, sympathy, and encouragement, making this a bundle you’ll reach for all year long.

The coordinating dies are full of thoughtful details—graceful doves, delicate branches, and even tiny envelopes for your doves to carry! I paired this amazing bundle with the Spotlight on Nature Dies and the Thoughtful Designs Specialty Designer Paper for a soft, elegant look. The designer paper I used is not longer available but not to worry, you can easily use any of your favorite patterned papers with this fun and versatile layout.

To create the card, start with a base that’s 8-1/2″ x 4-1/4″, then score and fold it at 4-1/4″ to form a perfect square card. The designer paper is then cut into an easy 4″ x 4″ piece which leaves NO waste of your designer paper. When attaching your circle dies with the greeting, use a ruler or template to keep the total height at 5-1/2″—that way, your masterpiece fits neatly into a standard envelope.

The die-cut dove adds such a lovely touch that you really don’t need any extra embellishments… unless, of course, you love that little bit of sparkle like I do! I added just a hint of silver ribbon for shimmer and shine. The result? A simple, elegant card that works for the holidays—or any time you want to send peace and comfort.

The Peace on Earth Bundle truly delivers on its name—it’s peaceful, versatile, and oh-so-pretty! Once you start creating with it, you’ll wonder how you ever crafted without it. ✨

Thanks for stopping by and check out my card today … hope this layout inspires you to try one of your own. Happy Stampin’! Linda

Simply Sunday: Traditions of Christmas Card

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Happy Sunday! Today’s project brings together two of my favorite things from the Holiday Mini Catalog—the Traditions of Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper and the Traditional Labels Bundle. These two pair beautifully to create timeless cards that capture the spirit of the season while staying easy and fun to make.

The Traditions of Christmas Designer Paper is a classic choice for holiday crafting. With bold poinsettias, delicate white flowers, and lush greenery accented with gold foil, it offers a warm and traditional palette that feels just right for Christmas. Pair that with the Traditional Labels Bundle, which includes versatile greetings and perfectly sized dies, and you have everything you need for cards that are both elegant and effortless.

For today’s card, I chose patterned paper featuring red poinsettias, white flowers, and hints of Pool Party and Old Olive greenery upon a Secret Sea backdrop. The base of the card is Pool Party cardstock (8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored and folded at 4 1/4″), which makes those seasonal colors pop. I die cut the double label banner from the Traditional Labels in Pool Party cardstock and stamped my greeting in Cherry Cobbler ink to tie in with the poinsettias.

Popping the sentiment up with dimensionals adds just the right amount of depth and texture. Although I didn’t, I suggest a few embellishments finish it off. Even this simple layout, our card still shines.

What I love about this design is that it’s perfect for beginners while still looking polished enough to impress. The die-cut label gives it that “next level” look without adding any complicated steps, so it’s a win for both new and experienced stampers alike.

Thanks so much for joining me for this Simply Sunday inspiration! I hope today’s project encourages you to reach for the Traditions of Christmas Designer Paper and the Traditional Labels Bundle as you craft your holiday cards. These products are truly timeless and will help you create keepsakes that capture the magic of the season.

Until next time, happy stamping!

No Tricks, All Treats! A Fun Fold Card That Pops! 🎃✨

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Today, we’re creating a No Tricks, All Treats Fun Fold “Easel” Card that’s playful, interactive, and—best of all—super easy to make because the Spooky Sweet Designer Paper is practically doing all the work for you! This card is perfect for Halloween, but it’s so whimsical and fun that it’s hard not to smile while making it.

We’ll start with our Petunia Pop card base, cut to 11″ x 4 1/4″ and scored at 5 1/2″ and 8 1/4″. Burnish those score lines! Since this card is a portrait/vertical layout, the 5 1/2″ score forms the top fold, and the 8 1/4″ score lands about halfway down the front of the card base. This simple fold gives us our “fun fold” mechanism that will let the card pop up and stand for display.

Next, cut two pieces of Basic Black cardstock to 4″ x 5 1/4″ (front & inside mats) and a piece of Basic White at 3 3/4″ x 5″. Grab the Spooky Sweet designer paper and cut your favorite scene—like the cute house and sidewalk—to 3 3/4″ x 5″. Then, let’s bring in our stars: fussy cut the beary sweet little fairy and the banner from the paper. I added a little sparkle using Wink of Stella on her crown, wings, and scepter—because every fairy deserves a touch of shimmer! Both the fairy and banner are popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals for extra dimension and then attached to the designer paper… then attach to your black mat.

Here’s an important trick: when attaching the front of the card to the base, apply adhesive only from the second score line to the bottom edge of the card base. Leave the area above that top score line free of adhesive, or your fun fold won’t open properly.

Now for the inside—where the magic really happens! I stamped sparkles in Petunia Pop ink onto the white panel, then stamped my greeting on a scrap of white and die-cut it using the Textured Notes Dies. I dressed it up with some Petunia Pop shimmery ribbon and a piece of black cardstock behind it, then popped it up with Stampin’ Dimensionals in the middle of the inside panel. This creates the Easel mechanism, so your card stands perfectly. Finally, I added some fussy cut candy corn for a sweet little embellishment.

The best part? This card lays flat for mailing but pops up to display your cute creation at home—so it’s both practical and whimsical. The combination of fun folds, interactive easel design, and playful designer paper makes it a joy to create.

I encourage you to get creative with embellishments, die cuts, and colors—make this card your own! You’ll find links to all the supplies used today below for your convenience.

Thanks for flying by and spending part of your day with me …

A Spooktacular Halloween Fun Fold Card! 🎃✨

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Halloween crafting just got even sweeter on Day 3 of Halloween Week with the Halloween Sweet Suite! This collection is packed with playful images, charming characters, and patterned papers that make it a breeze to create cards and treat holders that will delight kids and grown-ups alike. For today’s project, I couldn’t resist diving right into the designer paper—the star of the show! Not only does it feature adorable characters like hippos, bears, and crows dressed for Halloween, but it also makes creating a polished project so quick and easy. Today, I’m sharing a Happy Halloween Fun Fold Card that is as fun to make as it is to give.

Let’s start with our card base: a piece of Smoky Slate cardstock cut 7 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ and scored at 3″. This simple fold is what makes our card interactive and exciting! For the front, I chose a piece of designer paper cut to 5 1/8″ x 4″—but here’s the trick: I cut it at 2 5/8″ so one piece fits on the front flap and the other slips inside. This way, the design continues seamlessly across the card, creating the look of one solid picture. How cool is that? To make the front pop, I matted the designer paper with Pumpkin Pie cardstock (5 1/4″ x 2 3/4″), stamped Happy Halloween in bold Memento Black ink, and fussy cut the cutest little hippo from the paper to give her a starring role on the front. Of course, she had to be popped up for a little extra dimension!

Now for the inside—because every fun fold should have a surprise! I started with a layer of Pumpkin Pie cardstock (5 1/4″ x 4″), then added the second piece of that cut designer paper, perfectly lined up to continue the image. To the left, I placed a strip of Basic White cardstock (5 1/8″ x 2 3/8″) so there’s space to write a special Halloween message. But the real magic? The little Vampire Bear, fussy cut and ready to stroll right out from the front flap! I tucked him so he overlaps both the designer paper and the white panel, and gave him a little crow buddy for company. To finish it off, I scattered white foam stars across the night sky and added Petunia Pop stars near the greeting for a playful sparkle.

Isn’t this card just the cutest? The Halloween Sweet Suite makes creating this fun fold so easy because the designer paper practically does all the work for you. With whimsical images, bold colors, and festive patterns, it’s the perfect collection for quick cards, treat bags, and more.

Give this fun fold a try—you’ll be amazed at how fast it comes together and how much joy it brings when that little vampire bear comes strolling out to say Happy Halloween! 🧛‍♂️🦇

Thanks for strolling in for a visit today!

Sweet & Spooky Fun with the Spooky Sweet Suite 🎃👻

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

If you’re looking for Halloween projects that are just as fun as they are easy to create, you’re going to love today’s pair! It’s Day 2 of my Halloween week, and I had so much fun crafting a playful card and a coordinating treat bag topper—both made with the Spooky Sweet Suite. This suite has everything you need to bring a little magic (and mischief!) to your projects: whimsical ghosts, playful bats, bold sentiments, and patterned paper that makes every creation come alive. Whether you’re making cards for friends or treats for little ghouls and goblins, these products are perfect for adding charm without too much fright. 🕸️✨

When I sat down to design the card, I started flipping through the designer paper, and that adorable little ghost peeking out the window immediately caught my eye. I just knew it had to be the star of my project! I die-cut it with the new Branching Out Die, adding a sleek black mat behind it for contrast. Since the curtains in the window were green, I chose Granny Apple Green as my card base—it pulls everything together so beautifully. With my blending brush and coordinating ink, I softened the background to really make the die cuts pop.

But it still needed just a little something more … and then I spotted the cutest little bat dressed as a ghost, ready for trick-or-treating. 🦇👻 How perfect is that?! The playful idea of a ghost in the window watching a bat dressed as a ghost made me smile, so I added it to the scene. To tie it together, I die-cut a few more bats from the bundle and let them flutter around my sentiment, “Don’t worry, eat sweets.” A sprinkle of Shimmer Star Foam Stickers finished the look with just the right amount of sparkle.

This sweet card takes the spookiness down a notch so even the youngest trick-or-treaters will adore it. And speaking of sweet … I couldn’t resist making a matching treat bag topper! Using the Branching Out Dies again, scored & folded in half and paired with the candy-patterned paper from the suite—because what’s Halloween without candy, right? 🍬 I fussy cut another one of those darling bat-ghosts, added a touch of ribbon behind it to make it pop, and finished it with the same sentiment and foam stars—this time in white for a softer contrast. Even the candy is bats & ghosts! 🦇👻

How cute are these two projects together?! I had an absolute blast creating them, and it was the perfect chance to play with the new Branching Out Dies, which really highlighted my Spooky Sweet Suite! Whether you make the card, the treat bag, or both, you’ll have Halloween projects that are fun, festive, and sure to bring smiles to everyone who sees them.

Thanks for stopping by … Happy Saturday!

Halloween Isn’t Just for Kids: A Spooktacular Card to Kick Off Halloween Week

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Did you enjoy revisiting the cute Halloween projects I shared yesterday? I hope so, because today we’re kicking off Halloween Week with something a little more hauntingly beautiful! 🎃✨ Halloween isn’t just for kids—it’s the perfect excuse for us grown-ups to get a little spooky and a whole lot creative. Today’s card combines the Lights of Aurora Designer Paper, the Words of the Season Dies, and the Spooky Halloween Bundle, and the results are absolutely magical.

Let’s start with the background—those dreamy light streaks from the Lights of Aurora Designer Paper set the stage perfectly for a mysterious night sky. To make it shimmer with otherworldly magic, I brushed my Wink of Stella with the flow of the lights. The sparkle brings this scene to life and makes the paper glow. From there, I added the trees, cut from the Light & Wonder Dies, and attached them to the bottom edge of the card. A quick trim to fit, and the spooky forest was ready to frame our haunted scene.

Of course, no Halloween card is complete without a haunted house! Using the Spooky Halloween Dies, I cut out the house, then matted it with Crushed Curry cardstock. By trimming off the excess, the yellow glow shines through only the windows and doors, making it look as if someone—or something—might be inside. I popped it up with Stampin’ Dimensionals, giving it just the right amount of depth and drama.

Next came the moon—because what’s Halloween without a glowing full moon in the sky? I punched a circle from Crushed Curry cardstock with my 2″ circle punch, then blended a little extra Crushed Curry ink to give it a two-tone look. Before attaching it, I die-cut the “Happy Halloween” sentiment from the Words of the Season Bundle and glued the letters right onto the moon (I overlapped the “H” and “a” to connect before assembly). The moon is popped up as well, so it really shines against the background. To finish the front of my card, I added a bat, also die-cut from the Spooky Halloween Bundle—because you can never have too many bats on a Halloween night!

For the inside, I didn’t stop at plain and boring …. I carried over a strip of leftover Lights of Aurora Designer Paper, added another Crushed Curry moon, and stamped it with a sentiment from the Words of the Season Bundle. A few more bats ties everything together so the inside feels just as polished (or spooky) as the outside.

Halloween might make you think of costumes and candy, but this project proves it’s also a time for grown-up elegance and creativity. There’s still time to create your own hauntingly beautiful cards—and with these products, you’ll be amazed at how magical your projects turn out. After all, Halloween isn’t just for kids!

Thanks for joining me for my kick off …. I can’t wait to share Day 2 of Halloween Week with you tomorrow … stay tuned for more spooky inspiration! 👻🖤
