Two Beautiful Cards with the Addressed to You Stamp Set

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

One of the easiest ways to elevate your handmade cards is by pairing beautiful designer paper with a versatile greeting stamp set. Today I’m sharing two creative cards made with the Addressed to You Stamp Set, and I think you’ll love how simple yet elegant these designs are.

The Addressed to You stamp set is perfect for creating greeting-focused cards. The sentiments are clean, stylish, and work beautifully as the focal point of a card. This makes it a wonderful set to have on hand when you want to create something special without needing lots of extra stamping.

This first card highlights a classic birthday sentiment framed with a stitched oval and layered over softly patterned snowflake designer paper from the Elegant Pine Snowflakes. A few embellishments add just the right amount of sparkle.

For both of today’s cards, I kept the layouts simple so the greetings and designer paper could really shine. This second card features the warm floral patterns from the Lovely Florals Designer paper paired with a cheerful “You Make Me Smile” greeting, creating a bright and uplifting design.

I’ve also included a video below where I walk you through the cards and share a closer look at the details. I hope it inspires you to pull out your greeting stamp sets and start creating!

Lots to Love Card Kit: Plus 2 Alternatives!

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

There’s nothing I love more than sitting down in my stamp room with a project that’s creative, relaxing, and already beautifully coordinated for me. Today I’m excited to share the Lots to Love Card Kit from Stampin’ Up! — a perfect example of how easy it can be to create stunning handmade cards, even when time is short. I’ve included a video in this post so you can see the kit in action, and of course, I couldn’t resist creating a couple of alternative projects to show you just how much versatility you can get from one simple kit.

The Lots to Love Card Kit is designed for crafters who love beautiful results without complicated steps. Everything is pre-coordinated, making this kit ideal for:

  • Quick crafting sessions
  • Beginner stampers or seasoned crafters
  • Craft nights with friends
  • Building a stash of heartfelt cards for everyday occasions

The colors and designs in this kit have a soft, cheerful feel that works perfectly for thank-you cards, friendly hellos, and thinking-of-you cards. It’s one of those kits you can pull out when you want to create something lovely without overthinking every detail.

Check out the video, where I walk you through the kit and share both alternative cards step by step. Seeing how the pieces come together makes it so much easier to imagine how you can adapt these ideas for your own style — or even create your own variations using the same kit.

On this card, I removed the frame altogether, which beautifully exposes the floral focal point and creates a clean, crisp design that still feels warm and inviting. This layout is perfect when you want a simple card that lets the artwork shine without a lot of layers.

For this card, I used the frame from the first card and paired it with the Cute as a Bug Designer Series Paper. This simple swap instantly changes the personality of the card and shows how easily kit elements can mix with products you already have in your craft room. It’s a great way to stretch your kit and get even more variety from the supplies inside.

If you’re looking for an easy, enjoyable way to create beautiful handmade cards, the Lots to Love Card Kit is a wonderful addition to your craft room. I’ve linked all the supplies below so you can click and start shopping when you’re ready. And if you haven’t yet … grab a cup of coffee, press play on the video, and come spend a little creative time with me — you might be surprised how much joy one simple kit can bring. 💛

Three Beautiful Quick Cards using Diagonal Cut & the Lovely Florals Patterned Paper

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Sometimes you need a beautiful card in a hurry—but you still want it to feel thoughtful, meaningful, and handmade. Today I’m sharing three quick and easy cards created by using an easy Diagonal layout paired with the gorgeous Lovely Florals Designer Series Paper. This simple diagonal design instantly adds interest and elegance, making your cards look extra special without adding extra time at the craft table.

I love layouts like this because once you learn the basic cut, you can use it again and again with different papers, colors, and sentiments. It’s a wonderful way to showcase patterned paper, and the diagonal creates a natural focal point for your greeting or focal element. Whether you’re creating sympathy cards, thinking-of-you cards, or just want a few beautiful designs ready to tuck into your stash, this layout is one you’ll reach for often.

In the video included below, I walk you through how to cut the paper diagonally and create all three cards step-by-step. You’ll see how easy it is to mix and match patterns from the Lovely Florals DSP while keeping a cohesive look. I also share simple tips for adding just a touch of texture and sparkle so your cards feel finished without feeling fussy. A Spooktacular Halloween Fun Fold Card! 🎃✨

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Halloween crafting just got even sweeter on Day 3 of Halloween Week with the Halloween Sweet Suite! This collection is packed with playful images, charming characters, and patterned papers that make it a breeze to create cards and treat holders that will delight kids and grown-ups alike. For today’s project, I couldn’t resist diving right into the designer paper—the star of the show! Not only does it feature adorable characters like hippos, bears, and crows dressed for Halloween, but it also makes creating a polished project so quick and easy. Today, I’m sharing a Happy Halloween Fun Fold Card that is as fun to make as it is to give.

Let’s start with our card base: a piece of Smoky Slate cardstock cut 7 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ and scored at 3″. This simple fold is what makes our card interactive and exciting! For the front, I chose a piece of designer paper cut to 5 1/8″ x 4″—but here’s the trick: I cut it at 2 5/8″ so one piece fits on the front flap and the other slips inside. This way, the design continues seamlessly across the card, creating the look of one solid picture. How cool is that? To make the front pop, I matted the designer paper with Pumpkin Pie cardstock (5 1/4″ x 2 3/4″), stamped Happy Halloween in bold Memento Black ink, and fussy cut the cutest little hippo from the paper to give her a starring role on the front. Of course, she had to be popped up for a little extra dimension!

Now for the inside—because every fun fold should have a surprise! I started with a layer of Pumpkin Pie cardstock (5 1/4″ x 4″), then added the second piece of that cut designer paper, perfectly lined up to continue the image. To the left, I placed a strip of Basic White cardstock (5 1/8″ x 2 3/8″) so there’s space to write a special Halloween message. But the real magic? The little Vampire Bear, fussy cut and ready to stroll right out from the front flap! I tucked him so he overlaps both the designer paper and the white panel, and gave him a little crow buddy for company. To finish it off, I scattered white foam stars across the night sky and added Petunia Pop stars near the greeting for a playful sparkle.

Isn’t this card just the cutest? The Halloween Sweet Suite makes creating this fun fold so easy because the designer paper practically does all the work for you. With whimsical images, bold colors, and festive patterns, it’s the perfect collection for quick cards, treat bags, and more.

Give this fun fold a try—you’ll be amazed at how fast it comes together and how much joy it brings when that little vampire bear comes strolling out to say Happy Halloween! 🧛‍♂️🦇

Thanks for strolling in for a visit today!

Sweet & Spooky Fun with the Spooky Sweet Suite 🎃👻

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

If you’re looking for Halloween projects that are just as fun as they are easy to create, you’re going to love today’s pair! It’s Day 2 of my Halloween week, and I had so much fun crafting a playful card and a coordinating treat bag topper—both made with the Spooky Sweet Suite. This suite has everything you need to bring a little magic (and mischief!) to your projects: whimsical ghosts, playful bats, bold sentiments, and patterned paper that makes every creation come alive. Whether you’re making cards for friends or treats for little ghouls and goblins, these products are perfect for adding charm without too much fright. 🕸️✨

When I sat down to design the card, I started flipping through the designer paper, and that adorable little ghost peeking out the window immediately caught my eye. I just knew it had to be the star of my project! I die-cut it with the new Branching Out Die, adding a sleek black mat behind it for contrast. Since the curtains in the window were green, I chose Granny Apple Green as my card base—it pulls everything together so beautifully. With my blending brush and coordinating ink, I softened the background to really make the die cuts pop.

But it still needed just a little something more … and then I spotted the cutest little bat dressed as a ghost, ready for trick-or-treating. 🦇👻 How perfect is that?! The playful idea of a ghost in the window watching a bat dressed as a ghost made me smile, so I added it to the scene. To tie it together, I die-cut a few more bats from the bundle and let them flutter around my sentiment, “Don’t worry, eat sweets.” A sprinkle of Shimmer Star Foam Stickers finished the look with just the right amount of sparkle.

This sweet card takes the spookiness down a notch so even the youngest trick-or-treaters will adore it. And speaking of sweet … I couldn’t resist making a matching treat bag topper! Using the Branching Out Dies again, scored & folded in half and paired with the candy-patterned paper from the suite—because what’s Halloween without candy, right? 🍬 I fussy cut another one of those darling bat-ghosts, added a touch of ribbon behind it to make it pop, and finished it with the same sentiment and foam stars—this time in white for a softer contrast. Even the candy is bats & ghosts! 🦇👻

How cute are these two projects together?! I had an absolute blast creating them, and it was the perfect chance to play with the new Branching Out Dies, which really highlighted my Spooky Sweet Suite! Whether you make the card, the treat bag, or both, you’ll have Halloween projects that are fun, festive, and sure to bring smiles to everyone who sees them.

Thanks for stopping by … Happy Saturday!

Halloween Isn’t Just for Kids: A Spooktacular Card to Kick Off Halloween Week

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Did you enjoy revisiting the cute Halloween projects I shared yesterday? I hope so, because today we’re kicking off Halloween Week with something a little more hauntingly beautiful! 🎃✨ Halloween isn’t just for kids—it’s the perfect excuse for us grown-ups to get a little spooky and a whole lot creative. Today’s card combines the Lights of Aurora Designer Paper, the Words of the Season Dies, and the Spooky Halloween Bundle, and the results are absolutely magical.

Let’s start with the background—those dreamy light streaks from the Lights of Aurora Designer Paper set the stage perfectly for a mysterious night sky. To make it shimmer with otherworldly magic, I brushed my Wink of Stella with the flow of the lights. The sparkle brings this scene to life and makes the paper glow. From there, I added the trees, cut from the Light & Wonder Dies, and attached them to the bottom edge of the card. A quick trim to fit, and the spooky forest was ready to frame our haunted scene.

Of course, no Halloween card is complete without a haunted house! Using the Spooky Halloween Dies, I cut out the house, then matted it with Crushed Curry cardstock. By trimming off the excess, the yellow glow shines through only the windows and doors, making it look as if someone—or something—might be inside. I popped it up with Stampin’ Dimensionals, giving it just the right amount of depth and drama.

Next came the moon—because what’s Halloween without a glowing full moon in the sky? I punched a circle from Crushed Curry cardstock with my 2″ circle punch, then blended a little extra Crushed Curry ink to give it a two-tone look. Before attaching it, I die-cut the “Happy Halloween” sentiment from the Words of the Season Bundle and glued the letters right onto the moon (I overlapped the “H” and “a” to connect before assembly). The moon is popped up as well, so it really shines against the background. To finish the front of my card, I added a bat, also die-cut from the Spooky Halloween Bundle—because you can never have too many bats on a Halloween night!

For the inside, I didn’t stop at plain and boring …. I carried over a strip of leftover Lights of Aurora Designer Paper, added another Crushed Curry moon, and stamped it with a sentiment from the Words of the Season Bundle. A few more bats ties everything together so the inside feels just as polished (or spooky) as the outside.

Halloween might make you think of costumes and candy, but this project proves it’s also a time for grown-up elegance and creativity. There’s still time to create your own hauntingly beautiful cards—and with these products, you’ll be amazed at how magical your projects turn out. After all, Halloween isn’t just for kids!

Thanks for joining me for my kick off …. I can’t wait to share Day 2 of Halloween Week with you tomorrow … stay tuned for more spooky inspiration! 👻🖤

Tone-on-Tone Elegance: A Fresh Look with the Autumn Toile Suite

Hello Stampin’ Friends,

Are you ready for another way to showcase the Autumn Toile Suite? Today’s card is all about subtle elegance with just the right amount of detail. I love how the products in this suite give you the flexibility to create everything from bold and dramatic designs to soft and sophisticated layouts. This time, we’re letting texture take center stage with a leafy background that is both understated and beautiful.

For the front of my card, I cut the intricate leafy background die from Very Vanilla cardstock and adhered it directly onto a Very Vanilla layer. This tone-on-tone technique creates a soft, textured backdrop that looks rich without being overwhelming. I mounted this layer onto an Early Espresso card base for a striking frame.

Next, I die cut a piece of the Autumn Toile Designer Series Paper, along with an Early Espresso mat, using the Nested Essentials Dies. This creates the perfect focal point, balancing the detailed background with the warmth of patterned paper. For the greeting, I stamped in Early Espresso ink to keep the look cohesive and finished the card with a touch of sparkle from the Streaked Dots embellishments.

It’s amazing how the suite comes together—whether you want a bold metallic die cut, a patterned focal point, or a simple textured background like today’s card, the Amber Autumn Bundle and Autumn Toile Designer Paper give you endless options. By now, you’ve seen several styles of cards with this suite, and I hope you’re as inspired as I am! Imagine all the possibilities waiting in your stamp room when you add this suite to your collection—it’s a fall crafting essential.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Autumn Toile Magic: Create a Showstopping Background

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

I hope you enjoyed my Simply Sunday cards! Today, we’re stepping things up a notch and highlighting one of the real gems in the Autumn Toile Suite—the ornate background die found in the Amber Autumn Bundle. Honestly, this die was the first thing that caught my eye when I opened the suite, and once you see it in action, you’ll understand why. It’s a showstopper!

This intricate background die creates a stunning, leaf-patterned backdrop that instantly elevates your card designs. The beauty of it is you don’t need to fuss with multiple layers or complicated layouts—just one pass through your die-cutting machine and you’ve got a card front that looks elegant, rich, and detailed.

For today’s card, I started with a Very Vanilla card base to keep things simple. The magic happens when you pair it with the Earthen Toned Metallic Specialty Paper, included right in the suite. I ran the background die through with this paper, and the result is an absolutely gorgeous metallic leaf layer that shimmers and shines. To finish it off, I heat-embossed my greeting in Bronze Metallic Embossing Powder—and die cut with the Textured Notes Dies—so everything ties together beautifully.

Imagine this same design layered over a patterned background from the Autumn Toile Designer Series Paper—wow! The possibilities are endless, and the die does all the heavy lifting for you. That’s the brilliance of this suite: simple stamping and die-cutting turn into cards that look intricate and professional.

If you’re looking to add elegance and ease to your fall crafting, the Autumn Toile Suite is a must-have. With the Amber Autumn Bundle, metallic specialty papers, and coordinating accessories, you’ll have everything you need to create cards that impress without stress. Today’s card is just the beginning—I have more to share with you soon, so stay tuned!

Let me know what you think … comment below, and thanks for stopping by today!

Rustic Charm: Color-on-Color Stamping with Autumn Toile

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

Autumn is sneaking in, and there’s no better way to welcome its warm tones than with gorgeous stamping fun! Today I’m so excited to share a simple, satisfying technique using the Autumn Toile Suite from Stampin’ Up! — one of my favorite new collections. This suite is full of rich, forest-inspired imagery (leaves, acorns, deer, pumpkins) paired with coordinating dies, patterned and metallic papers, trims, and embellishments that all work together so beautifully.

If you want to create cards that feel cozy, rustic, and elegant without a ton of fuss, you’ll love what I’m about to show: the Color-on-Color technique using Crumb Cake cardstock and ink. It’s effortless, very forgiving, and a great way to let the stamps in this suite shine.

Using the oak leaf and acorn stamp, ink the image in Crumb Cake and stamp it onto the Crumb Cake card front. Stamp it again on a separate piece of Crumb Cake cardstock, which you’ll die cut. Next, mat your stamped card front with Early Espresso cardstock and mount it onto a Crumb Cake card base. Cut a circle of Early Espresso cardstock to layer behind the die-cut leaves and acorn, then stamp your greeting on Very Vanilla cardstock and attach it to the card front. For the finishing touches, add a simple bow with Very Vanilla Baker’s Twine to pull everything together, and a couple Streaked Dots to embellish!

And there you have it — a quick, beautiful card all using the same color (Crumb Cake) stamped on itself, layered up with Early Espresso for contrast, and tied together with Very Vanilla and baker’s twine touches. Using the Autumn Toile Suite makes it even more fun, because everything matches so effortlessly: the stamps and dies, the designer papers, trims, and metallic papers in rich, earthy palettes.

If you’ve been wanting to add a touch of rustic charm to your cards or send some warm seasonal greetings, this suite is a must-have. Whether you go all in with the full Autumn Toile Suite or just grab the leaf/acorn stamps and a few coordinating pieces, you’re going to fall in love with creating this look. Stop back tomorrow for another sweet -n- simple card using the Autumn Toile suite!

Happy stamping — and don’t forget, the best way to learn is to just stamp, layer, play, and enjoy every mark!

Spring Cards with the Storybook Moments!

Hello Stampin’ Friends ~

If you loved my last post featuring the Storybook Friends Bundle, then you’re in for a treat today! I have two more enchanting cards to share, along with some quick tips and techniques that will make your card-making even easier.

This enchanting suite is perfect for bringing charming characters and whimsical scenes to life. The best part? You can create stunning cards in less time by using the coordinating Designer Series Paper and die cuts—no fussy cutting required on today’s cards!

💡 Technique Highlight: It’s an oldie but a goodie! To create a background that appears to have texture, just “scrunch” up some wax paper, dab it onto your ink pad and pounce it onto your cardstock! This little touch makes a big difference!

Time to let the designer paper do all the work … layering different patterns makes it easy to craft a complete scene. You’ll see I used the Everyday Arches when adding the blue patterned paper … I showcased this in my last post. (Seen Here) With just a simple die cut and layering, this card comes together in minutes!

The greeting wishing you a Happy Easter, comes from the Greetings for All Ephemera pack.  This set features a wide range of precut sentiments in a variety of styles, perfect for saying thanks, hello, congratulations, and more. The simple black and white colors ensure you’ll have a perfect fit for any design style.

My second card encompasses more of our suite as I highlight the coordinating die cut frame and stamp set.

The second card features one of my favorite “simple” techniques—layering die-cut elements. By combining the stamped images with pre-printed die cuts, you create depth and interest without a lot of extra work. I began with this adorable designer paper pattern – it gives us the framework for our creation – the strawberries!

So many stampers are already falling in love with the Storybook Friends Bundle, and it’s easy to see why! Whether you’re crafting for Easter, birthdays, or just because, this suite makes it simple to create charming, heartfelt cards in no time.

With Easter just around the corner, now is the perfect time to add this bundle to your collection and start crafting something truly special. Don’t miss out on the chance to create with these sweet characters!

Are you as enchanted by this suite as I am? I’d love to hear which card is your favorite! 💕
